When you walk into the staff room in the morning, the first person you notice is your beautiful girlfriend, sitting at her usual table, sipping her coffee with her work wife, Barb, right next to her. At first, she doesn’t notice you, being way too preoccupied by whatever story Barbara is telling. But when she does turn to you, with a frown still on her face from the conversation that was happening prior, her gaze softens and she gives you a soft smile only you can recognize as an “I love you”.

“There she is!” you hear Jacob saying from across the room “Where were you? How come you didn’t get here at the same time as Melissa? Oh no, did you guys fight?” He nervously says as he quickly makes his way over to you.

“Nooo!! No no, I was just running a little bit late so I told Mel to leave without me, thank you for your concern tho!” you laugh.

Everyone at Abbott knew you and Melissa were together, infact, they were the ones who had gotten you two together in the first place, six months ago and they were the biggest fans too. If anything ever happened between you two, your colleagues would probably be more crushed than you and your own girlfriend.

You hear the teacher’s lounge door open and turn around to see who it might be. Suddenly, one of your very close friends and fellow teacher at Abbott, Lauryn, bursts into the room with her usual smile plastered on her face. When she sees you waving, she makes her way over to you.

“Hey girl!! Such a nice day today huh?” she says.

“It is! Oh my god I love your dress!!” you exclaim as you look up and down at her outfit. She is wearing the most beautiful flower patterned dress. You make a mental note to look online for a similar one when you get home tonight.

“Thank you so much!! You know, I bet it would make that perfect ass of yours stand out, you should get one.” She says and proceeds to lick her lips.

You blush out of embarrassment. Did she forget you are with someone? Even worse, that Melissa is literally sitting not even 2 meters from where this very awkward interaction just took place and heard it? You quickly try and look at Jacob, trying to see if he heard the same thing, but unfortunately, he has already left and is talking to Gregory. You quickly glance over at your girlfriend who you can tell very well, has her fists clenched so hard and is fuming right now.

“Uh, thanks!” you try to say as normally as possible, trying to hide the confusion in your face.  “Um anyways, I really have to go, the kids are going to get here soon.” You quickly say and wave goodbye, smiling at her. You rush out of the room, wanting to get away from this whole situation as fast as possible. However, Melissa notices this weird behavior, as she is getting up to come check on you Barb sits her back down. 

“Melissa, you heard what she said, the kids will be getting here soon, she probably just wants to prepare everything.” she says “And besides i'm not done with my story yet, so sit back down.” she adds, while tugging at her sleeve to bring her back down.

When you get to your classroom, you start writing everything you need down on the board, such as the date and the kids schedule that they can rely on during the day. While you’re writing with your favouite purple dry erase marker, your mind starts to wander off. You start to think about how everyone has been telling you for weeks now that Lauryn might be in love with you, but you’ve just been denying it and shrugging it off. But now, you’re starting to wonder if it’s actually true. It’s not like you’re into Lauryn or anything, you have the best girlfriend in the world! Infact, Lauryn’s flirty comments are starting to make you feel uncomfortable, you thought she knew that you were dating Melissa…maybe she forgot?

Before you know it, the bell rings and your little kiddos are running in and hugging you like they normally do every morning. You snap out of your thoughts and start your lesson, you’ll deal with the issue eventually, but for now, all that matters is your students.

After lunch was your free period while your students were in gym class. Today, you preferred to avoid everyone and stay in your classroom to do some grading on the most recent test.

Just as you put a sticker on the last copy, you hear a soft knock at the door, you turn arround expecting to see Melissa but you’re met with Lauryn’s grin, holding her cellphone.

“Hey! Am I bothering you?” She asks, peeking into your classroom to see if anyone else is there.

“Nope, I just finished grading these papers.” You reply, gesturing to the stack of documents on the corner of your desk.

“Ahhh alright well, I need to show you this video, it’s so us!” She says excitedly and comes to stand next to where you’re sitting down.

You start to watch the video but quickly realise it’s dedicated to couples… you stop paying attention and focus more on the reflection of the glass of the phone, when you see Lauryn, she’s not.. looking at the video? You try to see what she’s looking at and realize that she is staring directly at your cleavage, practically drooling too. You get red. You get uncomfortable. You start to pray for her to leave or someone to wal-

Someone knocks at the door, again.

“Am I interrupting something?” You look up, recognizing the voice. 

Melissa is standing at the door, hands on her hips.

“Oh hey Melissa!” says Lauryn “You aren’t interrupting anything, I was just showing Y/N this video.” She goes to show Mel the clip.

Your girlfriend clearly also realizes the video is meant for couples and clears her throat, crossing her arms. This makes you look up at her. You can see that she’s jealous, she is part of the group of people that think Lauryn is in love with you and she is also not having it right now.

“Well, I’ll leave you two lovebirds to it!” Says Lauryn, she waves goodbye at the two of you and walks out of your classroom. Clearly she knows that you and Mel are together, so what is this all about?

You and your girlfriend stare at eachother for what feels like forever, until you decide to speak up first.

“Look I d-” You start.

“What the hell was that?” Your girlfriend cuts you off.

“Listen Melissa, I have no idea she just, ugh!” You say, being exhausted from this whole situation “Please don’t be mad, I don’t feel like fighting, I’ll talk to her later.” You finish.

“Hon,I'm not mad, heck if anything I'm jealous!” she says, uncrossing her arms and slowly walking towards you “She’s always making these comments and remarks about your body and undressing you with her eyes! I’m the only one who gets to do that here. And the worst part is, I can tell you hate it, it makes you extremely uncomfortable.” She continues, bending down infront of you and resting her hands on the armrests of your chair. You blush, she knows you perfectly.

“It does.” You say, getting more and more red. You quickly look down at her lips, unknowingly licking your own. The redhead in front of you notices.

“I know it does” she answers, bending her face down to yours, your mouths are inches away from each other “And no, i’ll be the one to do something about it.” 

You smile before kissing her softly, she kisses you back with just as much softness. After a moment, the kiss starts to turn more and more hungry. She places her hand on the back of your neck, pulling you closer. You smile into the kiss. The school bell suddenly rings, signaling that you have to go get your kids from the gym. 

You groan as you pull away from her mouth

“Fuck, I have to go get my kids at the gym! I’m so sorry Mel, I'll talk to you later!” You quickly peck her lips before exiting your class.

Melissa stays there for a moment, smiling to herself, thinking about how much she loves you.

It’s the end of the day, you students have alrea dy gone home and all that’s left to do is go down to the teacher’s lounge to collect your things that you had left there. 

When you get there, you’re greeted by all your friends who are also gathering their things.

“Hey girl, did you have a good day? I didn’t see you around much?” Asks Janine, with a small frown, her face slightly coated in worry.

“Yes I had a good day, I just had a lot of grading to do and preferred to do it in my own space.” You reply reassuringly.

“Oh okay!” She smiles at you.

“Hey, uh, Y/N?” You recognize the voice, it’s Lauryn “Do you think maybe.. you’d wanna um, get drinks or something tonight?” She asks nervously.

“Uh, um” you have no idea what to say “I uh..”

Melissa, who was talking to Barb as per usual, notices you and Lauryn right away and decides that this is her time to shine, this is where this little Lauryn thing stops. 

“Hey, Lauryn?” Melissa says while approaching you from behind “Have you ever noticed in the last six months that, I don’t know, me and Y/N are dating? Or did you just think we were joking?”

“Oh! Well..” The girl in front of you says 

“Save it glasses, and save up that money for a new pair because this one isn’t working” Mel says “Now back the fuck off before I throw you down the stairs and the only drinks you’ll be getting are jello cups from the hospital” She finishes, before quickly turning around to grab her things and you by the arm and dragging you out the door.

“Oh, bye guys!!” She loudly says to everyone else in the room to make sure everyone heard.

“Bye Melissa!” Janine awkwardly says and makes her way towards Lauryn to check on her, not to comfort her, just to make sure no one ends up hating her in the future.

When you get to Melissa’s car, you can’t help but smile at her, and then well, laugh. You had no idea she was going to do this right then and there but she did. She joins the laughing fit after a few seconds.

“Oh how I love you!” You kiss her passionately before turning to your own car “I’ll see you at home sweetheart!” You yell at her before shutting your car door and starting your engine.

“I love you more hon, i’ll cook you your favorite pasta for dinner!” She yells back before shutting her car door as well.

With that, you both drive away to where was originally only Melissa’s house, but is now yours too, and you plan on it being for a very long time. Plus, you get to look for that new dress you want!

hey another prompt; r is a teacher in Abbott for years now and has a specific styling of clothes. More of baggy loose clothes. As if her wardrobe are full off oversized pants and button up shirts and either a loafers or converse high lugged. And for some days, she dresses horribly, like more horribly than Janine and one time even managed to put on different shoes 🤦🏻‍♀️. Ava pokes fun of it and Barb and Janine even tried to help r out with dressing up, offering a shopping get together and sort but she declines says she's happy with what she wears and it's comfy. Mel joins teasing r once in a while tho and r just gonna roll her eyes playfully 'cause she's friends with her and knows that Mel was just a lil jealous that r can wear such comfy clothes tho it looks horrible. Then one day there will be like a school visit from.the district and Ava recquired all of the staff to wear formal or casual attire,ofc she makes fun of r again asking what horrible choices of clothes again is she gonna wear. Barb and Janine offered help and again she declines. Then the next day they're all in the staff room talking about it and when Mel is about to say something, r strode inside wearing nice clothes, even nicer than Ava and shocked to see she's wearing skirt and slaying the high heels without stuttering or wobbling. Mel, who's have her mouth agape and having a hard time taking her eyes off the teacher now became the new center of teasing as the teacher walks up to her and closed her mouth saying she might catch fly with a smirk on her face before leaving the break room to start her class.

“Woah girl, I think you need a wardrobe change. You do realise it’s spring right?” Ava says as soon as you walk in and she sees your outfit.

“Girl, your clothes ain’t stylish at all. Like you got two patterns on, they don’t even match.” Ava says.

“Don’t you have some influencing to do? You know, anything besides your actual job?” You tell her and she leaves.

“Why do you have two different patterns on your outfit?” Melissa asks.

“First 2 things I grabbed.” You tell her with a shrug and she shakes her head at you. “You’re just jealous because I don’t care about what I look like and wear comfy clothes.” You tell her and she snorts.

“Hon, there’s comfy and there’s comfy disaster. Which category do you think you fall under?” She asks you and you huff.

“I still think you’re jealous.”

“Keep thinking that hon. Doesn’t make it any more true.” She says back to you. “By the way you realise you have 2 different shoes on right?” She asks you and you look at your feet.

“I do…now.” You tell her and she shakes her head and smiles.

On Monday you walk in with a similar outfit on and Melissa rolls her eyes at you when you sit down. Ava walks in not too long after.

“Listen up, dorks! Tomorrow the school district is coming over for a tour and I need everyone to look good. And I’m mostly talking to you, walking disaster.” She says and looks at you, you just roll your eyes. “Tomorrow can you at least wear something that matches.” She tells you.

“I’ll think about it.” You tell her and she leaves.

“Sweetheart, tonight Janine and I can go to a thrift store with you for an outfit for tomorrow.” Barb tells you and Janine nods her head.

“I’m good, I think I know what outfit to wear tomorrow.” You tell them and Barb looks at you sceptically.

“Are you sure?” She asks and you nod your head.

“Can't wait to see your best mismatched outfit tomorrow.” Melissa teases you and you smile.

Tomorrow morning, everyone is in the break room. Melissa, Barb and Janine are discussing their outfits and then it lands on your outfit.

“What do you think she’s gonna wear today?” Janine asks as she’s getting coffee ready.

Barb shrugs, and when Melissa goes to speak, you waltz in and her eyes go wide and she freezes.

At lunch, you’re in the break room getting your coffee ready when Melissa walks in. Normally you say hi to her but it seems a teacher is talking to you today. Melissa sees you and the teacher talking and when she gets closer she hears the conversation and realises the teacher is flirting with you. Everyone else seems to be in conversation but that all comes to a halt when they hear the other teacher ask you out and they all spare a glance at Melissa. Melissa freezes and all colour drains from her face. Not wanting to hear your answer, she grabs her things and walks out.

You hear the teacher ask you out and you freeze, you hear the room go silent for some reason and then you see Melissa get up and leave. You look over at everyone else and they all seem to be given a worried look at where Melissa was just standing.

“I’m flattered but no, sorry.” You tell the teacher.

“Ya, I’m interested in someone else.” You tell her and then get up and you walk to Barb. “Is Melissa ok?” You ask her and she shrugs.

“I don’t know dear. Didn’t have time to ask her. Maybe you can go check on her.” She tells you and you nod your head then walk out of the break room.

“This is getting interesting.” Jacob says and everyone agrees.

“Did you see her rocking those heels though, and she didn’t even stumble once today.” Janine says and Jacob looks at her interested in the topic.

“I did ya. She looks good in them too.” He adds.

You walk down the hall to Melissa’s classroom and you knock them open her door. You peak in and catch the tail end of Melissa’s pout before she goes to a neutral face and looks at the door.

“Why should I do that?” She asks and then looks up at you.

“Because it would seem more convincing then the lame ass attempt you already did.” You tell her and she snorts. She makes no attempt at saying it to you though and that worries you a bit. Melissa has never been able to lie to you while looking at you so the fact that she’s not telling you she’s alright while looking at you, it worries you.

You go and grab one of the students chairs and bring it over to sit beside her desk.

“What’s wrong?” You ask her and she looks at you then looks at her pen in her hands.

As you exit her classroom you bump into a teacher and you apologise to them.

“Y/n? Wow, I almost didn’t recognise you. You look pretty!” The teacher says to you and you smile and thank them. Melissa sees the interaction and presses down on the desk with her pen and the tip of the pen almost breaks.

At the end of the day, you’re all helping your students get ready to leave. “Ya I do actually.” You tell her and you cup her cheek. “You.” You tell her and she smiles back at you.

She hums and leans in closer to you, her breasts pressed up against you and your breathing speeds up. “How about I take you to my place, I cook you dinner and then I don’t keep my hands to myself for the rest of the evening?” She asks and you smile at her.

Okay. Okay. I love the lesbians. But the CaitVi sex scene seemed kinda… off? Like the making out and shit was good (ahahaha I’m so bisexual it hurts) but like… Vi just got abandoned by her sister. Her sister that she’s had a VERY troubled relationship with, one she just got back and almost died protecting. Now she’s out and about and has implied that she’s going to do something drastic. And Cait just walks in there all sexy and she’s like “did you think we needed that many guards on the bridge teehee wink wink” and they just start fucking? Like I’m all for it, but it just feels very… off. I would’ve liked it better if they had angry sex in the scene where Vi founds out Jinx was arrested. Idk. Felt off to me.

And and and… Jinx’s “sacrifice?” I’m saying that lightly because people have pointed out very good reasons to why she might still be alive and she just left which opens up a whole other can of worms but that’s beside the point! Anyway, like… it felt so pointless! She’s fought and survived and dealt with so much loss and grief and I understand that Silco told her to walk away and break the cycle but… that’s Silco. The man who never forgave Vander (maybe he did in the “is there anything so undoing as a daughter” scene but ya know) and paid the fucking price? Why couldn’t Jinx break the cycle of hatred and learn to coexist with her sister? To deal with her mistakes head on? To help put that explosive power to good use? It just doesn’t make sense in my brain. I hated it tbh. It felt like such an intentional (shallow) emotional grab to “kill” one of the most beloved characters in the series. Maybe it’s just me, but I hated it.

Mel is cool tho. She is such a woman. A fucking powerhouse and it felt so good to watch her use her golden powers.

So is Ekko. I love him. He’s done so much. I love the consensus that they had to throw Ekko into the wild rune thingy otherwise he’d be too productive and save everyone before anything ever happened. That’s so him.

Poor Jayce. He went THROUGH IT. And Viktor’s design? The way his mask literally splits his face? And the gay power and ultimate sacrifice they did at the end? YES. So fucking good. Viktor’s scenes have been STUNNING this season and I’ve been eating it up like stuffing and gravy on Thanksgiving.

Arcane is certainly a one-of-a-kind show. I’ve never felt so emotionally invested before. I’ve never cried and then danced around my room with joy in such a small amount of time before. Fortiche (I think I’m spelling that right) had the weight of the universe on their shoulders, and boy did they deliver, but there are a few hang-ups. That doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy the show or I want my time back. Absolutely not. I loved the ride and I’ll definitely be thinking about Arcane for a long time. What a show.

prayinggg we get a no soundtrack version because while i do like a few of the tracks (yes even Enemy!!!), there are more duds than hits and they take me out each time

also obviously i'm a Jinx Is Alive truther because of the ending scene of cait staring at the air ducts to the hextech tower fiddling with a fragment of her bomb...come on. jinx has said in the start of the season that she wanted to leave piltover/zaun and with isha gone and her sister happy, she can finally do that

i am very invested in jinx and vi's relationship so when jinx without any hesitation chose to let herself go from vi's grasp and destroy warwick (both something that vi could not do) which in one fell swoop legitimizes her agency, protects vi from a monster, saves vander from eternal hell - i'm like yea...[sniffs] that's a redemption arc baby

jinx and vi. piltover and zaun. they'll always be sisters...yea....

i admire the open ending with the airship. but she did say she'll ride one of those things one day. yay.

maybe an unpopular opinion but i liked cait this season. finally some bite and controversy and trauma to her choices. she was way tooooo comfortable in s1. while she's still a cop, at least she's interesting now!

and i am a number one sap so!!!!!!! the flashback scenes this season got me hurting real bad. when i thought i was devastated by Remember Me...here comes s2e7 to punch me in the gut

the fact happiness and normalcy was possible for powder...the fact that powder will never use hexcore because of what happened to vi and it made all the difference. vi's death unknowingly protecting her sister (and the world!) from beyond the grave...i am sobbing my eyes out

(After typing out all this I’ve realised it’s quite a lot, so I hope you like reading lmao)

So the one on the left in my pfp (spiral eye, sweater) is named Bubble (my friend named them), they use any pronouns (although I generally use they/them) and their nickname is Bubs :3

The one on the right (demon, poncho) is Devlin (name taken from the Devlin house from Dead Boy Detectives) they also use any pronouns and their nickname is Dev

These r some of my OG sketches of them (their designs are pretty much exactly the same still, i don’t plan on changing them)

I made them both easy to draw on purpose since I just wanted something to do while I was bored but I’ve ended up becoming super attached to them lmaoo

I decided pretty early on that Bubble and Devlin would be in a romantic relationship because idk, i’m just a sap for romance I guess

Bubs and Dev both use rotary phones from the 1960’s; mostly it’s just a gag, there’s no real reason for this other than I thought it’d be funny.

I tend to stylise Devlin’s dialogue in all caps just to sort of show their loud personality but they actually aren’t yelling most of the time.

They both have pets! Bubble has a saint bernard called Benoit Blanc (Benny) and Devlin has three iguanas named Tim, Martin and Sasha (I think you know where i got their names)

I haven’t planned out every aspect of their characters but I do know a few things such as hobbies (Bubs likes baking and Dev likes to read. They both like arts and crafts) and their families (Bubs comes from a kinda big family, they have several cousins and a little brother, meanwhile Dev no longer speaks to their family.)

I wanted to keep the Nicknames thing, so i introduce Vixen ‘Vixie’ and Melina ‘Mel’!

Short answer? He doesn't have two significant others, he has two guard dogs now. Longer one? Let's dive under the cut!

Warning for reference to medications and nightmares. They/them used for reader where needed.

I think he would dodge the questions and be vague about it. Yes, he has an older sister in the police force, yes, his mum and dad still live in London and call him randomly. And that's it because, if he starts opening up about his family, he'll have to explain everything that happened to him. His face was on the papers, after he was extracted from the bombed car but neither you, nor Michael, made the connection and know the actual reason why he moved to Oxford, since the photos were old and in terrible quality, plus his story was sidelined by the bigger sensation that was the whole alt right movement fallout, and the murders connected to it.

As long as the relationship was simply based on sex, it was easier for him to give you both the least information possible, most of the time you two didn't stay over and didn't see his medications, the times he would wake up screaming from his nightmares or realize that Billy never goes back to London, not for love or money, or that his family doesn't come to visit him from time to time.

Things changed tho, like they always do.

You saw his medications by mistake, Michael almost got an heart attack when Billy fell asleep on the couch, only to wake up screaming. You didn't want to press him for information, you wanted to give him time to open up, Michael, and his big mouth, couldn't help but firing questions, Billy, obviously, clammed up and refused to say anything. If the relationship had made a step forward, thanks to Michael, it went back ten steps because Billy wasn't ready to show you two nerds who he had been and what he had done, being so ashamed of it himself.

The three of you didn't meet for weeks, Billy avoiding you on purpose, until you cornered him and made sure he told all that happened.

Talking about his family happens organically at this point.

Michael has to bite his tongue when Billy tells you the ways his family tried to tough him up, comparing him constantly to his sister who, seemingly, was amazing in every aspect of her life. He was embarrassed to admit how this constant reminder of his failures had taken a toll on his mental health, catapulting him into the waiting arms of the alt right group that used him. When Michael, finally, explodes, saying that they're all cunts, you are ready for the fallout.

"They tried their best. They failed, but tried the only way they know." Billy says, his head hanging a bit. "And that's why I can't meet them, because they'll never admit they were in the wrong." "Still cunts." "A bit, yes."

It shines in the way Billy talks about Lana, that he loves her and that love wasn't enough to salvage their relationship: she saved him but was the reason Billy kept falling and falling into the depths of depression; it wasn't her fault, she was the unwilling catalyst though, and you can't forget it. You hug Billy tight and he makes himself as small as possible to fit your frame and feel your hands in his hair, while Michael is grumbling about the whole situation in the background: he's not one for forgiveness. Not that you don't agree: Billy can do whatever he wants with his relationship with his family, you're never going to forgive and forget, even if Billy does. Someone needs to look into these people's eyes and remind them of what they did to him, the harm they caused to Billy, and still to this day.

That his parents and, to an extent, his sister did it believing they were doing right by Billy doesn't truly matter on the long run, not when Billy is still suffering and believes himself to be less than what he is, simply because he doesn't meet their expectations for him.

You don't have the luxury to express your rage as outwardly as Michael is doing right now, someone needs to anchor Billy, and that's your job, but by God you're fuming as you keep him in your arms and are already planning how you're going to show him how great he is, how important he is for you: that's your goal, Michael's? He will never let his family off the hook, it's a promise; if you know someone who never forgets a slight, who is capable of holding a grudge to his grave, that's you math genius boyfriend.

You two will need to coordinate your efforts and you two will succeed in helping Billy truly flourish, and if his family tries to have say in it? They will never know what will hit them, and that's your silent promise to Billy.

OF AU (Mel/ Chev) MINORS DNI

Some hc of this AU, a special thanks to @scummy-writes for inspiring me to write this with her own OF hc of the princes, and for letting me ramble about this, a lot of these are her ideas ajdhahjsjsjs

I'm not tagging anyone bc Nsfw lmao I also didn't revise it bc if I read it too much I won't post it, so there will be errors, sorry

The hcs:

- Mel starts an OF account because she need the money and a follower from her instagram asked if she’d ever post nude reference photos (her instagram is filled with photos to be used as reference for artists)

- After thinking a lot and talking with some friends who also have OF accounts (and seeing hoe much they earn per month) she caves in and creates one

- Her first photos are her wearing lingerie, costumes (like the bunny suit) or in her underwear, in more timid poses

- Then after a while she starts posing nude and making live videos, though she doesn't really take requests. They are also kinda short since she’s still shy about it -it’s one of the main reasons her subscribers like her, with every praise she receives her cheeks burn bright red

- One day Clavis subscribes Chev to Mel’s OF account as a prank and when opens the site to cancel the subscription he stumbles upon the bunny suit photo and then he stays subscribed lmao

- In the beginning he just logs in occasionally to see the new photos, not caring about the schedule of lives, or updates (his tier is the most basic one, only for photos). Then after a few months he decides to pay for the live tier, at this point she has started to take some requests, only the ones she feels comfortable doing tho

- He doesn't miss one single live since he upgraded his subscription and logs in daily in case there is any update. He doesn't chat and sometimes donate anonymously

- Some months pass and Mel receives a message asking if she’d be okay with doing a private session (?) with them, and that they’re willing to pay 10x the highest tier (it's Chev messaging her lol). She’s very hesitant at first because she doesn't know him and she’s never done it before, in the end she agrees as long as she has the right to deny any request that makes her uncomfortable, he accepts and they arrange a date for it

- She’s super nervous, what if he’s a creep?, what if he makes really disgusting requests? He only asks her to read a book, naked, for him (that he wrote because in this AU he is a writer, but Mel doesn't know that) she’s taken aback at first, because it's odd in the sense that it's too simple, she only has to read a book?

- She starts reading it and when it gets to a spicy part (Ik he wouldn't write smut, but pls bare with me, Mel wouldn't have an OF account in canon either but here we are) she feels hot and starts to rub her tights together after Chevalier tells her she can't touch herself. She keeps reading until her mind become too mushy for her to be able to comprehend what she is reading and then begs him to let her touch herself, Chev is much more talkative in the chat than usual, after she comes back from her high they keep talking for a bit about random things, and she finds it enjoyable to talk to him

- This becomes a routine between them, she says he doesn't need to pay that outrageous amount every time, because he doesn't want him to waste so much money on her, but he only dismiss her and continues paying lmao

- Chev is down bad for Mel but refuses to admit it to himself, so Clavis acts as a wingman for him ~~he actually annoy and tease Chev until he confesses~~ Eg: he is also an OF creator and jokes about doing a colab with Mel (he almost died that day), he teases Chev for having a normal pic of Mel as his lock screen one time (he didn't see the secret folder dedicated to her, because if he did it would be over for Chev, Clavis would tease him until the day he died)

- After a while they go to calls instead of lives, because Mel asked him to “It’s not fair you're the only one who gets to hear my voice, I want to hear you too!”

- Once he admits his feelings for Mel, but before they are together he asks her what it would take for her to delete her OF account, she says that she’s in it for the money, so Chev tells her he can pay what she earns if she deletes it. She’s like “haha, that's a funny joke” not realizing he was serious, this happens a couple more times before he gets fed up and calls her a simpleton for not being able to get what he means

- After they get together she deletes her account but still takes some pics for him exclusively

Extra:

- I wanted to make Mel have a small crush on Clavis at the beginning, but I couldn't find a way to properly weave it into the hc, and it’s already way too long than it should be lol

- I want to make some short comics and illustrations for this AU, but they’ll be posted on my server, I can post the comics if they're not explicit

hey mods, whats the ship that you most hate or dislike? caroom, hemeruni, what ships?

I am stuck between two choices, the first is rather obvious. Carroom is a ship that is abuser x abuser and the entirety of kisswas "I loved him too" reveal came from the depths of Tartarus as it was new showed nor even implied once, in fact quite the opposite was implied before so It is completely an enigma where this ship came from and even more a mystery why KC though they would be a good pair. The second choice though is a bit more, controversial and much less obvious though. That being Barruni, allow me to explain. Uni has shown on multiple occasions that she does not respect Barry's boundaries about magic and even actively seems to intentionally use magic in front of him on occasions despite knowing that he dislikes her use of it, Uni has gotten away with far too much for me to believe that Barry would still actively engage in a proper relationship with her after all of this. I also fear that after all of this, KC wont even know how to do Barruni that well without horribly mischaracterizing them on both ends in a way that leaves all of their previous personality traits behind and just makes them previous husks of their former self. personally, i don't have one ship i hate. it's a whole genre of ships - anything with side characters in it. on the wayback machine, on the faq for the site, we're told some of the official ships are kills x shortnick, jean x orange, and caroline x kiki. but (obviously except for caroline), what do we know about these characters in order to ship them? we know maybe a sentence or two worth's of information about them! that's not enough!!! even with the more popular small ships that are also canon: mood x rem, pinata x funfetti, mel x cyn, jay x caroline... we get scraps of interaction and ship moments in the comic, if anything at all (seriously, jay x caroline? where is that coming from? they're two major characters but there's still nothing!) i wish characters were elaborated on more before they're shipped, which is also why i don't understand any ships with the chunklings. they've been here a while but we don't know anything about them. and yes, before anyone asks, this does apply to polly as well. they're a major comet parent, and yet... there's nothing actually there. -mod polly 🧊

Oh wow I'm so excited by this trailer. Spiking adrenaline...I'm scurrying up walls like spider on meth 🤪

Some thoughts:

- it seems to me that Mel is alive (Yay!). Maybe hurt. Ambessa doesn't sound angry enough for death. Also fuck you Ambessa with your "wrath must be met with wrath". What about Piltover's wrath to Undercity over decades and centuries, huh? But you're a war mongering tryant (and textbook narcissist), you wouldn't recognise concepts of justice and fairness it they slapped you in the face. She's on the bottom of my Arcane's characters' likeability list for sure. I don't care that she has got impressive physique. I hate that they gave her place in the game (yes she's even below Marcus and Finn. At least they have decency to be dead).

- Cait being all decisive and competent 😎 But if she's leading attack on Undercity, what are those Noxian soldiers about? Does she work together with Ambessa? *shudder* I like Cait but I kinda want her to fail in all three objectives. Sorry pretty officer, but I'm on side of Zaun's revolution and independence from Piltover's boot. And you sending in enforcers doesn't seem in support of that.

- Vi looks terrible in enforcer uniform. Terrible. And she continues her trend from the very beginning of the series of contradicting her own words to Jinx. How long that "Nothing ever going to change that." held up, huh? A few days? A month? Normally I would give benefit of the doubt due to deceptive trailer's editing, but as I said, it's hardly the first time. When it comes to Jinx, one must take her every statement with a pound of salt. Especially positive ones... I hope I am wrong, tho. Let me be wrong, trailer is lying, and after a breather and time to think, Vi is better than in S1 act three in relating to Jinx.

- Ooh chembarons fighting directly? Yay? Singed under enforcers' gunpoint! I know he's terrible mad scientist but someone save him. Jinx? Sevika? Victor??

- I'm surprised how happy I am to see Sevika again! I always strongly disliked her attitude to Jinx (she was kinda Silco's crew Mylo) so I didn't mind when Jinx hurt her, but I really love to see her back to full strength and fighting for Zaun. Also I am excited for Warwick?!

- Ekko is there. that's it

me and other readers have seen similar things in all/most ateez members for a few months now, their present time is just not what they expected, planned or hoped for as teenagers (when they started). I think this is a common thing, it doesn't seem like something to intensely worry about, it seems like usual young adult crisis, like most of us are having (same feelings and thoughts, just a different reality). I know he doesn't have a religion but he may be relying a lot on some sort of spiritual thing, may even be someone who is spiritual. san is very introspective, trying to figure out who he is, what he does and doesn't like, what fits into his life, but it's difficult because he's still so young, his life is planned out for him, he feels like he doesn't have much control of his own choices and personality. ateez are naturally introspective and soulful people but they don't have much restful or alone time to really pick their brains, it's like procrastinating healing and soul searching that we all go through at their ages. he has suffered big disappointment and is trying to grow from it, but he has no option but to stay grounded and stuck in a mediocre reality. like mingi has said, he's looking for small happiness in daily life, to not think "I'll be happy once I have this". ateez is in a limbo state currently, they're not small or beginner celebrities but they're also not big or experienced enough to control their own careers/lives. it's a weird stage but he's taking his time with it, san is very smart and he's got people that understand him by his side, helping him, "saving" him. he's learning how everything and everyone is interconnected, how small details and choices can have a lot of power, learning when to accept and offer help, etc etc.

his work responsibilities are fucking him up. queen of pentacles always make me think of fandom, and in reversed makes me of fanatics, manipulators, stalkers, etc. he's really really busy, not seeing his family who he loves deeply (his little cat 😭). san has been procrastinating his need for big changes, he may be instantly overwhelmed with the idea and since he has no time to think deeply, he just ignores it. he needs a break from work and selfish "supporters", be physically closer to those he is emotionally close to (like even his members seem to have little time together). he's living a money obsessed lifestyle when he is just a family guy.. he may be in autopilot mode a lot when in front of camera and not know how to turn it off when he gets home. his body may feel constantly tired and have muscle pain, maybe stomach/digestive issues as the cards suggest.

lightest part of the reading, san has a strong, powerful, incredibly smart and thoughtful spirit. san is currently feeling amazingly grateful for the success he has found early in his career, he's thankful to his members and staff for making this process easier and the goal achievable. he's grateful to himself specially for trying so hard, going after what he wants and not being afraid to dive deep into his soul when he needs. his soul is earning for change and action in his immediate life, earning for rebellion, a cause for riot. deep down, he knows other members would go with him to war (no soldier fights on their own), but his mind is a little slow and is still trying to figure out the best plan.

I'm watching Arcane right now for the first time ( I know I'm late to the party, but like with Game of Thrones everyone just wouldn't shut up about it and I got sick of it so I put it off out of spite okay) and I have some Thoughts, but right now I have to write this down before I forget about it

Mel is (in my eyes at least, and I'm still not done with season 1) such a weird - in a good way - character in the system of Piltover

She's complex and her actions and reactions are, like pretty much everyone else in this story, fundamentally a product of her upbringing

The thing is, her upbringing is also fundamentally different from that of most people in the show. She's privileged yes, but unlike most privileged people in Piltover, her privilege didn't in any way protect her from the violence inherent to said privilege existing (or rather, her knowledge of it, not the violence itself)

Most of the Piltover characters are just so far removed from the undercity (despite it not being all that separate, like it's literally right there) that they can abstract the undercity's suffering from their prosperity. They either refuse to believe that the undercity could be anything other than animals rightfully below them, repress and deny the consequences of their actions to the point they don't even see it, or just straight up never even think about it, like the stark economic and social differences between them are just a natural phenomena as uncontrollable as rain and stroms. "You don't hate the clouds for thunder, so why are these people blaming us for their misfortune?" sorta thinking

Mel doesn't have this view, because her mother, as much of an asshole as she is, made sure, in one of the most direct ways she could, that Mel couldn't abstract power and the powerful from the suffering of the powerless

However, while I believe that Mel is not like her mother in her belief that the most utilitarian solution is the best one (kill one now, save thousands later) she does believe, at least to some extent that there should be the powerful and the powerless, but she also believes that it is the duty of the powerful to minimize the suffering of the powerless as much as possible (while maintaining their position at the top)

It's why I think she's devoted to maintaining peaceful negotiations for as long as she can. Not only because it is the least damaging option for both sides, but because she believes this is the duty for a person in her position to do so

The thing is, her childhood has also made her hesitant I think. She speaks her mind, but most of her actions are done in the "background", so to speak. She doesn't start a conversation, she directs it. She doesn't bring forth ideas, but she does find people with hopes and dreams and uses them, like in the very first scene she's in, she is judging the inventions of other people to see which ones would better serve her goals. She isn't a coward, she isn't afraid, necessarily, but I think that her mother's brutal efficiency has made it so that she's cautious to make a decision strictly her own, for which the blame would be solely her own as well, like her mother's decision to behead that girl even tho she couldn't really do anything to them

And this isn't the only way we see her being impacted by her past. The undercity and Piltover characters are very easy to draw contrast with because this is their beginning and their end, this is where it starts and ends for them, but not for Mel

I started thinking about this not when we saw her childhood flashback, which probably would have been the obvious moment for reflecting on her character, but I did when we see her mother, in front of the painting we saw her working on when Jayce comes back from visiting Viktor

It clicked for me then, that in a show of brilliance, the writers decided to make Mel's character beats match with her art (although we only saw two so far, so who knows I might be wrong)

When she wakes up from her nightmare, we see the girl's necklace depicted in the background in one of her paintings. In her moments of fear, even though it is just a nightmare, we see in the background her very first moment of true helplessness. When her mother tries to convince her to help her get the weapons she needs, she's standing in front of the ships of her new painting, and this could have two meanings I think

First, very directly, it represents her mother's (and by extension her homeland's) warmongering and bloody traditions. The red sails and quick, abrupt brush strokes, different from the necklace's more flowing, curving lines, gives kind of the feeling of stabbing, like someone used a knife to make the canvas bleed until they got the painting right. It represents the type of person her mother is, and the type of person she doesn't want to be, which is why she goes to paint it when she's mad

The other option (that I'm partial to but only because I'm a sucker for broken characters) is that it actually represents her exile. She paints it not because she's mad, but because Jayce just left her (abandoned her you could say) like her mother did. Because yes, they have their disagreements, but you can see that being cast out cut her deep - it's the one thing she brings up pretty much every time she talks to her mother. Also, unlike the necklace painting, in the boats painting only the sails are red, which could be because the necklace scene was a much bloodier scene than her arriving at Piltover, but I think the sails are still meant to represent her mother or her homeland, but in this way it represents her leaving her much bloodier childhood for the more "diplomatic" place she came to. Of course, this is not really true, so much as Piltover hides its violence better, but from Mel's perspective, this would likely be the one good thing about her exile: she gets to do things her way now. And she does.

Which is why she's so enraged, and trying to hide it (although maybe less hide, and more control her anger), when her mother arrives. It's not just that she's come to Mel's new home and stomped all over her methods and treats her like a naive child. It's that she's also trying to turn Piltover, Mel's prison and safe heaven all at once, into her playground just like back home.

It's her childhood all over again, and she hates it
