very funny to me how i said "oh im not gonna do anything else for this au" and here we are now...

first of all, have a doodle. it felt unfair that all the other characters have refs bit gem doesn't, so here she is now

gem is not "officially" part of the crew, she doesn't really like cave exploring unless it's like, a big open cave close to the surface. anything more complex than that and she's out. but she does love her caves obsessed friends, so she usually ends up being the one to drive them to the sight, and often stays outside in case of emergency.

on the night pearl and tango died she was doing exactly that, chilling outside in their van waiting for them to return. who knew that everything would end this way...

gem is... interesting to think about. because she lost two very dear people to her, but she wasn't actually there to see with her own eyes. and after etho tells her about what happened down there... it's not that she doesn't believe him, etho's changed appearance being proof, but its certainly hard to grasp. and she just has to accept it as a fact.

and then she also has to take care of etho, who is injured and so deeply affected by everything that happened that she probably feels a little bad for not being able to fully understand what he's going through. she's also grieving and she's in a lot of pain from loss too, but she has to put it to the side to be there for her mess of a brother.

i dont think she blames him, not consciously at least. she probably doesn't think etho is lying, or that he killed them on purpose and is now pretending. she knew him her whole life, this is not something etho would do. but it's still difficult. for both of them it's very difficult.

Hii! I wanted to show you guys some concept art of Shoji! Some ideas I had back like 3 years I’d say. I do wanna explain throughly what I had planned for him- well it was her back then lol. So if you don’t mind me rambling I will be begin.

Shoji’s concept is actually similar as to who they are kinda in a few ways. They do follow the same path of being an idol/ singer lol. However Beta Shoji was meant to be an idol in disguise, following their pursuit as they made friends with Mk’s gang. Since I did wanna follow the idea that they’d switch disguise/ looks. While OG Shoji follows the idea of being an idol/ singer in search for their ‘father’ (its still a work in progress for that..I do kinda wanna follow the same idea aa BETA but I’d feel its too confusing..)

Another thing, BETA Shoji love interest was actually REDSON, wanting to make the trope childhood friends. However OG Shoji interests is actually Mk, I am gonna be messing around with Redson and Mk since I have something planned out that will make sense in OG’s Shoji backstory and lore lol :3

BETA Shoji’s father biologically was meant to be an ancestor that followed the journey to the WEST, like a love interest to Sun Wukong. In simple terms, BETA Shoji’s father was like a reincarnation of someone Wukong had traveled with. I scrapped the idea since it didn’t work with my current story.

BETA Shoji had a connection with Macaque- I wont spoil much since that part will actually apply to OG Shoji’s story lol- but do know to extra Monkies will be added to OG’S Shoji current story and will make sense. Do know that Macaque does play a fatherly role, I do wanna make sure it does play right- since well…OKAY IT WILL ALL MAKE SENSE ONE DAYYY , ONE DAY WHEN I DO POST THE BACKSTORY TO SHOJIII!

BETA Shoji is a girl lol while OG Shoji is a guy. I did mess around the idea of the genders for Shoji but I did stick with male lol

BTW BETA Shoji had actually been chosen as a child to be like a prophecy kind of tale- but it was scrapped since it just look weird on my side. But instead now OG Shoji’s story does use a certain GOD thats drives their story. I haven’t revealed that yet but I will soon lol :D

Lastly Beta Shoji had a pet monkey! Like a shape-shift monkey. I do wanna follow that idea of OG Shoji having a pet monkey and knowing how the shape-shift would correlate and fit in with the story…just an idea Im either debating lol.

There is an extra image there btw if you can see- BETA Shoji crying looking as they are in pain. That IDEA is actually something I am debating to add since in the original image it shows as a kid buttt I do wanna add that to OG Shoji’s story but instead it wouldn’t happen as a kid lol- like I said its something debatable:3

1B once had a Tetsutetsu BBQ. They heated him up and cooked food on him. He proceeds to ruin it when he declares his sweat is the salt to their food

Yui is canonically the prettiest first-year

Mineta has no sex appeal at all, but he thinks being a hero will make him lucky

Class B does respect Monoma. He's sharp-minded, witty, and has a way with words

Monoma sometimes wanders into 1A's dorm just to throw down a mean speech, and heads back to 1B

Juzo probably isn't helping Monoma's confrontations with 1A, since he just always asks him why he can't say it to their faces whenever Monoma complains about them

Shiozaki tries to be polite even in a fight

Pony hosts anime parties, so 1B knows a lot about anime. Vice-versa, they teach her Japanese, and everything nasty is Monoma's fault

Tokage was a gyaru

Tsuburuaba, Kaibara, and Kuroiro get worked up whenever they talk about girls

Manga likes Kenranzaki

Awase's family runs a small factory. He also restrains Monoma whenever Kendo isn't available

1B likes hearing Rin say "Aiyah", so he does it for them

Tsuyu's family gets to spend a lot of time together now, since their parents' busy jobs have calmed down

Tsubasa (devil wing kid in Midoriya's memories) suspiciously lost touch with Midoriya and Bakugo in middle school (his Wiki page confirms Garaki - his grandfather - turned him into a Nomu)

Torino likes goofy gags. This rubs off on All Might (ex. when Midoriya thought he died when Torino fell with ketchup. People don't know whether to laugh or be concerned)

Nighteye has yellow streaks in his hair as a homage to All Might

Nezu likes worming into tight, dark places, so he likes Aizawa's scarf. They went into detail, describing why Nezu likes it, such as material to crawling in, etc.

Recovery Girl has to travel around Japan regularly to help people with her Quirk (as in, she uses her Quirk to help them. Healing Quirks are SO rare)

Ik two days gone isn't a huge deal to other people but it is to me, since I feel like I woke up in a completely different world. It felt wrong to come back and blog and act like nothing happened, re: current events. I still feel pretty numb and empty about it all, along with many other emotions. I couldn't bring myself to look at any social media bcs it was like rubbing salt in the wound, and it still feels like its take a bit before I'm gonna be able to truly enjoy all the things I enjoy again. I was gonna write some long post about my feelings about it all but, I feel like atp I'd rather just try to indulge in what makes me happy I guess. also like i keep reading fics where people try to spin daniel's turning as something he was sort-of into, and that he sort-of consented to it (although with his life being threatened he could never consent fully, yanno) and also it tends to be intermingled with him and armand having sex and like. i know im a killjoy for saying this but i really hope in canon it isn't like that. like the turning is this massively violating and cruel thing and honestly i think it'd be a lot more interesting for it to be one more issue the two of them have to move past before they have any sort of relationship with each other

I’ve ranted to friends before abt how Kiryu is just genuinely so stupid that it comes of as dick-ish and inconsiderate to the people around him ESPECIALLY majima like?? He absolutely knows majima would walk through hell for Kiryu and takes full advantage of that in the worst ways and I don’t even think he fully realizes that that’s what he’s doing. Like please I love kazumaji as much as the next person but really only at a very specific point in time when they were both at their least fucked up gsgdfdf (kiwami 1 obv)

All is to say I agree please put the whole rgg fandom in an intro to literature class I think they’d greatly benefit gsgdf

kiryu is one of my favorite characters BECAUSE he's just so ass backwards. like On Paper he's a good guy: left the yakuza and is trying to live a normal life, has an orphanage and takes care of kids etc etc. but then you like. ACTUALLY look into him and its so funny.. he's such a dick and he doesn't even know and i love him. he just wants to do what he thinks is right and SOMETIMES he's right but his judgement also puts other people in peril (i.e. majima and daigo)
