I wanna start by apologizing for taking this long in writing the last part of this train-wreck I decided to start because I came down with a bad case of the snots and didn't have the motivation to write until the vitamin c and antiflu-des kicked in. So far I'm good and just waiting for my vacations. The wonders of working now in the school system is that now u get vacations more often, yay!

Magnus The Red

Honestly, I like Magnus. He is the kind of tragic man that gets a woman swooning. Make him a girl dad and you’ll be knocking heads down. I’ll be going at this with the possibility that any child that this guy sires will pop out as a psyker (the possibility is high if those swimmers managed to get the reader knocked up, tbf) so here we go. Let’s see… despite all the past mistakes during the heresy, we are talking about a Primarch that, while still kinda inhuman in many aspects, was very welcoming and showed quite the approachable disposition to anyone that had a curious mind. With that in mind, this mf would encourage his little girl to always ask him anything to stimulate her hunger for knowledge. Have you been around a child that is in the stages of the ‘Why’s’? Magnus will make it worse by always asking his daughter if she wants to know about a certain topic, going in an endless cycle of ramblings because there’s nothing that will make this man happier than to feed his precious girl endless amounts of information. Even when he spoils his child like the rightful princess that she is, he’ll still be strict about her behavior and tuition; being well aware that, to the outside world, she’ll be expected to act and speak in a certain proper way. Now, the tricky part about him when it comes to teaching his little girl how to control her psyker abilities. We all know that, when still with good intentions, Magnus was too damn arrogant when dealing with the fuckery of the Warp with little to no caution when he had already been warned about it. It didn’t matter that much when it was only him and his Legion dealing with it, but his baby girl on the other hand… ho boy, the good ol’ saying “do as I say, not as I do” could easily fit here. The Primarch more than likely will hammer the strict rule to his daughter that no psyker power usage unless he’s there to supervise and help her. HE is a demigod, the son of the Mighty Emperor of Mankind; in his perspective, he knows how to ignore (at least he thinks so) the poisonous whispers of the aether. Unless his child becomes of-age and has a much better grip over her abilities, MAYBE he’ll allow her to do as she wishes. Of course, only when she is residing at Prospero and very away from some of her uncles.

Horus Lupercal

The favorite golden boy of the Emperor himself! With how charismatic this man is, one can get an idea that he’ll be an incredible dad… and you would be right, but there are also little aspects that make this guy a whole new spectrum of his own. Remember that I mentioned once that Fulgrim would try and raise his daughter in a manner that she'll follow the exact path he’ll set for her? It’s kind of the same thing here, but Horus does it in such a subtle and gentle way that it’s hard to even call it gaslight. He’s just too damn charming that his own baby girl does as he says without questioning him because, to this poor child, her papa can’t do any bad in her eyes… and this man eats it all up. They feed each other their mutual hunger for their admiration and it’s amazing nothing too bad comes out of it. Probably some unhealthy dependent behavior if the issue isn’t nipped properly when she gets older, but overall, Horus’ little princess would never wish for anything. Just as much as the Primarch asks for his daughter to do as he says, he isn’t too tyrannical to force her to undergo a harsh training and he’ll be more pressed for the girl to become more like a politician or anything that doesn’t put her in the line of danger because, after all is said and done, the demigod still loves and cherish his little girl. Her precious miracle. While many may think that Horus would try and manipulate his daughter to do as he says, yall need to be aware that (in this guy’s case) he doesn’t even realize that he’s using too much Nat20 Charisma over his little girl and genuinely thinks that it’s normal for children to blindly obey their fathers and that mostly comes from his warped perception of parenthood that he learned from Big E. Just like with the Legions of Sanguinius, Leman and Guilliman, the Luna Wolves Legion would adore the little lady to the point of being a bit overbearing. They see her as another extension of their Primarch, very different from how they are created as astartes, and that simply leaves them all both intrigued and amazed. I’ll be merciful with yall and avoid touching the landmine of angst that the Heresy would be because this one got a bit long and we gotta jump to the next mf. Next!

Lorgar Aurelian

Ho, fucking hell… So, first off, this is a walking drama. Period. I can defend Lorgar about certain aspects that were out of his complete control but at the end of the day, he is plenty of guilty from some of the actions that lead to the dry-fuck that the heresy was. But we’re here to judge this bastard by papa points and not his war crimes (if that were the case, I would never end this chuckle-fuck post), so let’s fucking go. Despite what we all imagine, Lorgar is quite decent at being a good father. He’ll still try to force his child into a religious path, but since he already worships his SO as a goddess, his little girl is nothing but his absolute treasure so I don’t see him being more forceful than necessary with her. Any little doodle and gibberish done by his precious girl will be hanged nearby to where Lorgar works to keep close and be constantly reminded of his family. Honestly, of all the Primarchs, this guy is the sappiest one and I can’t help but feel kinda bad when thinking about the heresy outcome. He genuinely loves hanging with his little girl, encouraging her in any craft that may make her happy. Their bonding time is spent with Lorgar reading small tales that his daughter messily writes, wishing to see if her father would approve of her writing but jokes on her because hell would freeze first before this man ever says anything that would upset his baby girl. Unless he’s at a long campaign, nothing would stop this guy to be the one to tuck and kiss goodnight to his princess, for he needs to make sure that she is safe and sound at their palace along with her mother. If anything, this man tetters in the thin line of being quite overbearing, but he sometimes manages to reel himself back by sheer miracle. Where most of his brother would try to keep their budding family away and hidden, Lorgar would show off his daughter to the high heavens and back because, to him, the birth of his little girl is nothing but a gift given by his father, the God-Emperor himself, so why should he keep her away from the light of her grandfather too? Like many others have proposed, I like the idea of the Emperor taking the daughter and SO of Lorgar during the burning of Monarchia, effectively driving my man to his last restrain. Like many of the traitor Primarchs, this girl has no happy ending. She’ll probably be shunned and sneered at for the actions of her father while she’s kept trapped in the golden walls of the Imperial Palace at Terra, unable to ever go home because her grandfather had decided that he actually wished to be a parental figure for her. Ironic how that sounded worse.

Vulkan

Ah man, this one is just self explanatory. This big guy is the magazine example of a dedicated father. He was already one of the few Primarchs that could and loved being around kids, even if his size made it quite hard to maneuver around them. Having a daughter only makes this man even more tender. If any of the Salamanders ask their Primarch how his SO and daughter are doing, no force in the universe will stop this man happily showing the new doodle his precious gem did for him or telling them how his princess managed to read a whole sentence that day without a stutter. This guy just sPILLS love whenever he thinks about the little girl that he helped to create. If it were for him, Vulkan would prefer for his precious gem to dedicate herself to anything that has NOTHING to do with the Imperium. He wants her to be happy and safe no matter what, but he’s well aware that his daughter is her own person and that she’ll eventually make her own decisions without his input. Just like Khan, Vulkan will be quite the loving father (the most expressive of them all) but he’ll not be shy about having to be harsh when needed. No spoiled brats will be raised by him. I love to imagine that this little girl has an entire chest full of the little trinkets that her ‘Big Bros’ and her father gifts her: jewelry, toys, decorations, etc. This precious child is probably the happiest in the universe. There’s a chance that, as she grows, she would ask her father to teach her how to work in the art of smithy not only because she admires the Primarch, but because the little girl genuinely grew interested in the arts of working the metal over the fire. Yall, this one is just too sweet I am dying!!

Corvus Corax

Now, this man is one of the many that are hard to read for me but I am a slave of the masses and I must fulfill my fate so here comes nothing. This fun fella is quite the contradiction when it comes to parenthood since his own doubtfulness and depressing disposition clash terribly with the love and protectiveness he suddenly feels when seeing his daughter for the first time. The one thing that doesn’t change at all is his ever present determination to do his best to fulfill his role as both Primarch and new father. It sounds so incredibly inspiring and nice when you put it at first like that, but Corvus is the kind of guy that would look at his child crying and, unable to understand what she wants, he carries her around until he finds his SO for help because he’s just so fucking LOST, clueless, of what entails properly caring for a baby. Of course that only happens during the first months of the little girl having been born, because Corvus, my good man, is anything but lazy and dumb. He’ll wish to be involved mostly to ease his SO responsibilities regarding their precious child and because he is genuinely curious about the sweet little thing he helped to create. To him, the whole thing of raising his baby girl is both fascinating and scary and to be fair, his reactions regarding fatherhood are probably the most humane in that regard. I eventually can see my man being quite good at calming his little princess down thanks to his capacity at reading her emotions like the palm of his hand. These two would rarely need words to communicate between each other, sometimes making their staring off quite unnerving to the outsiders eyes. With how sensible this guy is, it's easy for Corvus to convey (unorthodoxly) his love to his daughter and like most of his brothers would do, he usually spoils her to the best of his capacities but tries his best to not make a brat out of her too. Hide and Seek are their favorite game and a good way to train his little girl in the arts of slipping through the enemies with the help of the shadows, making their games a whole new level of skill which gets even more interesting when any astartes asks to participate. I feel it’s kind of sad that this precious girl was quite close to her father with how much he liked to be involved in her raising, so when he disappeared through the Warp she felt the loss of her father the same way one loses a limb.

Alpharius/Omegon

This one feels more like a fever dream fueled by quetiapine because, to any little girl born from either twin, the WHOLE Alpha Legion are her papa. Just like the SO of those two lunatics, it would take time for their daughter to start understanding and pinpointing the differences between astartes, Alpharius and Omegon respectively. Just… jfc. Like, imagine this precious little thing walking and playing around and a group of Alpha Legion astartes pass by and she simply says “Hi, papa!” To. Each. One. Of. Them. Alpharius and Omegon take it as a funny little gag between them and an excellent way to ensure that their daughter never feels neglected but the SO isn’t amused about it.

You suppose you’ve always known about Chan’s mysterious life. And then again, you suppose you always loved him since you were eleven, just as you placed your eyes on him onto the Hogwarts Express. But he is a tricky person to figure out and someone who doesn’t want to be broken down into pieces and given to another to be investigated upon.

Yet he still lets you do so in the very manner as you sit next to him with a full glory on your lips.

You used to wonder why you were the only one that he would let get close, but now as you stare at him with big eyes that hold much adoration, you’ve come to realize how grateful you are.

Chan is puzzling but god he’s a sweetheart when it comes down to it, always a gentleman and always with gentle love beating in his heart for anyone and everyone. Though he reckons that his organ is a little more honeyed for you though, not that he would ever admit it.

For he lives in the shadows of his past and present, and through a fear that he believes in will conjure into reality. And so, he hides a part of himself from you. You despise it very much from the bottom of your heart. You really do. You want to be his but he’s holding himself back and it leaves a bitter taste on your tongue.

The first time you chipped away a little deeper than he wanted to show, was when you were fed up with the white lies that slipped through his teeth.

When he excused his absences for something so abnormal you thought he was mental almost. Every once a month he left you alone with your thoughts over something so trivial or something extreme–just an explanation that made your head spin. So, you had the bright idea to follow him.

Everyone knows of the curfew set in place every night, yet he seemed to have a justification for doing so…why?

Your footsteps were quiet when against the floor and you held your breath, hiding amongst the dark and following the footsteps in the moonlight that shone brightly. It was a full moon.

You’ve known the castle like it was the back of your hand, 3 years since coming and the footsteps you’ve marked were etched in the back of your mind. And you very quickly realized where Chan was going–to the whomping willow. Your lips shivered to cry out to him, to ask him what he was doing but you clap your hands over your mouth when he starts to violently shake against the wind. He collapses. And the clouds reveal the luminous light in the sky.

Before your eyes, his hair shrinks back into his skull, and his body changes. You both see the same things, yet he feels it with pure disgust and embarrassment when his bones grow and rip underneath his skin.

But your perception is different because when he looks into the reflection of the deepest lake and sees a monster staring back at him, you see Chan. Not just a werewolf, but Chan, your lover. And you know that for sure when your nerves tingle with endearment as you stare at him in awe. He’s quite magnificent, you can note when he turns back to escape into the woods.

The second time you cracked it even more was 2 years later when O.W.L’s took over your brain, alongside Chan. Every single night, since that fateful day, you’ve found yourself stalking over the gardens to watch him on the full moon.

But you don’t dare to tell him that; you want him to feel like he has the right to tell you when he has gotten over his fear. Then so, you’ve trained yourself to go blind-eyed every moment except for that night. You suppose you could be selfish.

Chan is lonely. He carries a deep burden in his heart, and it aches to be released, not on its own but in the hands of another where they can sing a lullaby to soothe the pain. And you knew that it was going to be in front of you, but it left a sense of a hole in your heart when you saw him cry. You still sing to him, though.

“Hey Channie, what’s wrong?” You ask, wiping away the peals that streak down his cheeks. His face is flushed red, and he sniffles miserably. He doesn’t say anything, so you move in a little closer to place your hand over his heart, lips just ghosting over fingers at where it lies.

“I feel like, there’s something wrong with me.”

You look up to look at him, but he’s already staring at you with deep fondness in your eyes, you think that you’re going to tear up too. But you don’t. You question instead. “And why is that pretty boy?”

“Oh, I wish you would stop calling me that” He weakly chuckles. “But…I dunno why. I just–just know that there is something wrong with me. Like definite, for sure. And I hate it. It hurts, I suppose. I think it’s puncturing my brain.”

Chan sobs the last word before you grab his jaw and pull him, so your forehead gently tapped against his. Both pairs of eyes close and you realize how much your love runs deep for him. Again, where he feels nothing is where you’re encased in everything for him. For him.

The 3rd time is now, just after a year. You think. You hope his stone wall will shatter soon to let you in.

When the night is young, and the moon rises, you watch with curious intent as Chan drinks out of a gauntlet and shivers with grimace before the potion's professor with great urgency pushes him towards the hills that envelop around the school.

You follow him and it brings you great Deja vu that wraps around your stomach. Yet this time, rather than just breaking the mere school rules, you’re breaking the law by becoming an unregistered Animagus. Perhaps you’re a dunderhead, but you can’t find it in yourself to care. You want to keep him company.

When the willow ceases its chaos, you slip past the hole near the trunk. Howls and whimpers echo but you don’t pay any attention. The shrieking shack is known for its ghostly activities but not for the true trauma that happens within the wooden boards. How Chan is in great pain because he is in love with someone whom he can’t have. Just because of himself and who he truly is; a bloodthirsty creature.

Yet he’s truly Chan when you strut your way into the broken-down living room, It’s truly Chan when he doesn’t attack you, and he growls against the moonlight. And it truly Chan when nudges you with his nose for a sense of doting that he craves.

You give it to him and lie on the floor, where he joins you. Your ear is near his pulse, and you feel it thrum alive against you, beating harder and harder. The thick wall is about to crumble, you reckon.

When it comes time for dawn to rise, Chan is Chan again, so you painfully twist back into who you are. Where the hardwood floor lies, instead is your boy, who scoops you on top of him. His eyes are glistening with tears and his lips quiver. Your fingers begin to tangle themselves into curls, placing a soft kiss on his forehead. Neither of you have tried to get up yet.

“How long have you known?”

“Since 3rd year. You’re very handsome has anyone told you that?”

He turns pink but shakes his head no. You kiss him once more.

“Turning into an animagus…why would you do that for me. Go through all the trouble. You don’t have to.” He speaks. He starts to cry now.

As for his question, you decide that you don’t have anything else to offer but the truth. “I love you, Channie.”

He scoffs, “Am I not a monster? I could tear you…you apart if I got too out of control. I’m sick in the head and outside of it, do you not understand? You deserve better.”

You tug at his hair which results in a wince, but you move up closer to his lips, just where they hover above them. His breathing stills and he thinks that you’re a complete stunner in his eyes. You think the same if not more.

“And who is to say that except for myself. You’re not a monster, you’re just Chan who can’t eat spicy food. And I’m (Y/n) who’s been in love with you since the very fucking beginning.”

And then you kiss him hard, expressing unsaid emotions into that kiss, starting to tear up when he reciprocates, his fingers gripping your waist making you feel dizzy. When you two pull apart, Chan chuckles as he wipes away a stray tear.

“You’re so beautiful it hurts me. I love you too.”

You’ve completely broken in.

No one remembers what happens at work (so workplace drama show?) Probably a sketchy place they work at. This makes workplace romance a bit tricky (cool concept)

first off. i can't believe that i already followed you- your spam blog -and didn't know.

second. i literally just had a dream shere i was rambling to someone about turbo using stuff from your essay. apparently it rewired my brain so hard it, and you, manifested in my dreams lol (i even made a bad joke that "you can say he's Turbo-tastic!" hah)

and congratulations on making such great work of art that is the essay, you can feel and hear the love(and hyperfixation) poured into it.

I feel that so horrendously much. I legit had a dream a few nights ago about someone APPROACHING ME cuz they recognized my voice from the essay (girl get an ego check) but they then said “dude it’s so obvious you’re into him” or something. And I was like. 🧍‍♀️Well you don’t have to say it out loud

Anyways you’re not the only one cuz the video haunts me too. even after its birth.

The hardest part?? Oh Man. Can I say Everything.

There were a few stretches that were REALLY TOUGH. short answer: Entire first half of the video. Also the longer parts like the Manipulation section, Turbo reveal section, and the Cybug King Candy section. I had a lot to say for these and it was tricky to condense it into something Comprehensible

Long answer:

I completely overhauled the entire first half of the video (EVERYTHING before the kart breaking scene) because I wasn’t satisfied with the writing/delivery etc. (Which was a good choice because my arguments were pretty half baked before) but oh my god that was like a week and a half of 7 hour recording and rewriting sessions it was brutal. Especially annoying because those arguments were super old and I was getting sick of thinking about them. So instead I used them as a backbone to structure better arguments and revamp the script so that kept me from going insane. However it was also really fun because I got to see my old ass arguments finally be explained to their fullest capacity. And also I got to write shit like ☝️🤓Excuse me sir your turbo is showing..

The biggest issue with this being my first ever video essay and it taking so goddamn long: you could SEE my writing/editing/voicing skills improve over the span of the video itself. Which is really cool improvement wise but REALLY . REALLY BAD CONSISTENCY WISE. Like the first half of the video is the part people are gonna see first. It SETS EXPECTATIONS. IT HAS TO BE PEAK

I think I re-edited the synopsis upwards of 5-6 times. Which makes sense as that was like the first thing I started the project with but ouhvhhhgghghr. Making a section from scratch is WAY easier than going back and having to redo something

Early on I cut out an entire fully edited/scripted/recorded 3 minute section of me talking about Megamind and its sequel because I realized. This is pointless and everyone has TALKED ABOUT MEGAMIND BEFORE AND THIS HAS NOTHIBG TO DO WITH WRECK IT RALPH. There were a lot of scrapped ideas

Audio was also really challenging, just entirely. Making sure the levels were consistent (I had absolutely zero voice volume normalization I did it all manually 😭 I’m gonna have to figure out how to do that) Also just the concept of recording my voice and having to speak out loud in a space was Real Bad for my anxiety but You Do it Scared. Had to wait until I was home alone or like 99% sure I was alone before I could say anything without worrying. Also training my voice to sound engaging and consistent was so hard and it took maybe 6 months for me to get it down. Also I had no fucking idea where to record, like at first I was recording in a CLOSET (and later under a piano??) and then I was wondering why my lines sounded so weird. Then I realized I could just Record in a room and it would sound JUST FINE. So basically uhhh every single part was the hardest part. But it was worth it and very fun I think 🫶

I'm jumping to answer this ask because I'm continuing the Austria train! And also because I have a lot of thoughts about this pairing that is (sadly) very overlooked in my opinion. Slight Spamano following.

OK SO I love SpAus. Great angst machine, I love their historical accuracy and a way to portray my view on Empires in Hetalia, since most of the time power gets into their head. Oh well, a marriage between two of the most powerful empires in europe, what's the worst that could happen?? a divorce that brought war to half of europe.

Spain and Austria's marriage was probably one of the longest and most powerful europe has seen, but that doesn't mean that it was good LMAO. I have an idea that for the first century or so of their union everything was...ok? Sure, it could be better, and it had it's ups and downs (I'm looking at Spain) but that doesn't mean that it was that bad. Except for like, the revolt of the Comuneros, that was a bad one.

I think their marriage started to go really south after the Netherlands' independence and the decline of the Spanish Empire, because after that things only started to spiral downwards. And I do not have a good and kind portrayal of "Empire Spain". He was awful both historically wise and also in his personal relationships and it SHOWED.

So, the war of Spanish Succession. A shitshow, Europe's messiest divorce, it did not end good, and Spain lost massive chunks of territories. The treaty of Utrecht/Peace of Rastatt was probably their divorce papers AHAHHA. In thirteen years more than eighty wars where fought.

And about Romano...I know many people make the love triangle between Roma/Spain/Austria and honestly? I like it. ALTHOUGH I have a very specific characterization that I am going to analyse through just now!

So, Naples was considered an "anomaly" in the Spanish Empire. It was the biggest and most populated city, and often times even overshadowed cities in Spain. Historically speaking, Antonio would admire the HELL out of Romano, even if he was one of his subordinates. I don't think he "loved" him yet, more than he considered him his favorite out of all his colonies.

Although I think the more his marriage with Austria deteriorated, the more his kindness to Romano turned into straight up obsession. The civil war twisting Spain's head in a lot of ways too.

That is to say, that while Spain was having his twisted villain arc, Romano would both hate and care about his superior. In a friendly way, of course, because it would be scandalous having an affair with his "master" that was married to another (plus not to mention Romano's internalised homophobia). So while my man was fighting to get independence, Spain was trying both to save his crumbling marriage and keeping his favorite colony with him (spoiler: he failed in both).

SO UHM YEAH. Romano probably wouldn't want to get into the SpAus business, and Spain obsession for Roma definitely irked Austria a bit. Can you imagine after all that crap that was the Spanish War of Succession going on a rampage in trying to reconquer South Italy?? From your ex husband?? Absolute madlad. I love SpAus. Spamano is my number one ship but this one is a guilty pleasure of mine.

okay, so, i reached a ✨follower milestone✨ and will be doing a pkmn request doodle event today in celebration. yay!

im going to try not to strain myself while doing this so pls be aware that some responses may be slow or that i may take breaks after a while. i may also switch up how the doodles are done as i go along to find a way to do them quicker or easier.

Rules:

You are to send an ask/anon saying a pokemon species. I will not be drawing your pokemon as that can get a bit tricky and I dont want to get peoples pokemon wrong.

I will not be accepting requests to draw legendaries, mythicals, or ultra beasts. You cannot make me do that.

You can suggest more than one pokemon though I would rather they be separate asks.

I have done a doodle event prior to this and would prefer getting to doodle different pokemon this time BUT I understand not everyone knows what I doodled beforehand so I am in fact fine with repeats though if you know I doodled that pokemon before please try to suggest smth else or maybe a different member of that evolution line.

#9: Thoughts on cliffhangers.

In other words, am I eeeeevil? Or just a little evil?

I go with "just a little evil." I'll use a cliffhanger on occasion if I want to draw out a little bit of suspense--like in the Regency story, when I ended a chapter with Jaime at Brienne's bedroom door (although I was probably a little more evil there since the following chapter went back in time instead of picking up right after that). But I don't think a story should go overboard with cliffhangers--I try not to use more than one unless the story is very long.

#26: What would you describe as OOC?

Oooooh....this one's tricky, because everyone has their own idea of what constitutes OOC. Some people have a problem with a Jaime who's bisexual. Some think a sexually confident Brienne is wrong. (I've written both, and in the same fic, so obviously I have no issue with them, lol.)

I don't know how well I write Jaime and Brienne from an authenticity standpoint. Sometimes, I think I do well, especially with Brienne. She's complex and stubborn and judgmental and yet underneath it, soft and yearning for someone to love her. And when she loves someone, she can't hide it to save her life. That's not always the easiest to write, but it's fun. Jaime's trickier because he's something of a dick while having that vulnerability that he doesn't want the world to see, which he hides by being more of a dick. If I write him the wrong way, he's either too much of an asshole and unlikeable--or he's too soft and woobified. If I say "fuck it, I'm writing him however I want," then I try my best to give him some characteristics that at least make him recognizable as Jaime Lannister--someone who, when he falls in love, does so with everything he has in him and will go to extremes. (Not "throw a kid out of a tower window" extremes, but I've had him do some pretty wild things to prove how much he loves Brienne. Like dancing in a Valyrian maid costume while lip syncing to "Umbrella.")

I guess my answer to the question is that a character is OOC to me when they're not recognizable at all.

Yunkai, Astapor, and Mereen were already in chaos because they were slave cities. I agree she was naive in thinking things would resolve themselves after merely overthrowing slavery, as reconstruction is notoriously fickle and tricky business. But it’s hardly just vanity, considering she herself had been a slave. And abolition IS a step forward, even if it’s not the final step like she thought

She was not a slave.

Her brother offered her to Khal Drogo as a wife. Or "gifted" her in exchange for an expected return, which is undeniably unjust and cruel abuse based entirely on the patriarchical power that men have over women in Westeros and Essos. It was a marriage contract in its starkest, least romanticized, objectifying, exploitative form.

But she was not an actual slave, with no rights, no status, no power. No more than any girl in Westeros who is married off for a political alliance. It is not the same as slavery, even if Dany likens her fate to being sold when talking about it with Xaro.

She owned her own slaves, her "handmaidens" Irri, Jhiqui and Doreah, gifted to her as wedding presents. Drogo enslaved a whole town and the suvivors of two khalasars, and she barely batted an eye, and only the rape of Eroeh inspired her to shift the ownership of the female slaves to herself, including Mirri whom she later murdered with fire.

Dany was a slaver herself. Not a slave.

And you are missing my point. Dany was not "abolishing" anything. She decided to have all the Astapori slavers (and tokar-wearing freeborn aged 12 and upward) killed, essentially on a whim, because it was cheaper than buying the Unsullied and felt like an easy win against some evil men. Afterwards, the Unsullied followed her in the exact same way they would have if she had simply bought them, no thought of making their own plans for their own lives with their sudden freedom. What a bargain! Oh, and those pesky civillians chose to follow her too, can't be helped.

She didn't go in with the intention to end slavery, it was a series of spontaneous decisions that each 100% benefitted her short-term conquest plans and felt satisfying because it meant violence or humiliation towards a cruel class of elite slavers who had treated her much more rudely than the elite class of slavers at Qarth that she had apparently no problem with at all.

She was taking a cut from slave sales in Meereen before she even decided to stay there to see through her "abolition" project. She forced random free people into unpaid labor. It was complete vanity, briefly joined by the awkward feeling of guilt and horror at her own violent impact. She hated that it wasn't a quick fix to make herself feel powerful and just, because it was vanity.

Also, chaos is not what was going on in Slaver's Bay before she arrived. Horrific exploitation, yes. Unbelievable cruelty, yes. Injustice that utterly needed ending, yes. Chaos, with mass starvation, rampant disease, civil war in the streets, war between states, and no functional authority to establish the rule of law? No. That's the thing that happened because Dany was being "naive" with the fate of thousands of people. "Naive" meaning "mass murder is the solution, yay, so simple!"

You don't play for weeks doing other stuff and when you finally decide to play, the game welcomes you with crashes. And the funny thing is that I called it. I was like 'I feel like it's going to crash' the whole time and when it did 'I knew it!' 😅 But what I didn't know was that it was one of those persistent crashes. Happens at the same game time almost always.

This time I really felt the despair. For a moment, I entertained the idea of starting a new save in a new world particularly because I'm kind of sick of Fayne Island. But that means I have to move the whole town because I care about the legacies and everyone is a relative in this town.

I dealt with persistent crashes for at least 4 times with this save. And each time, it feels like it's the end. Yet again, I decided to follow through with my debugging process, which is using NRaas Debug Enabler on the City Hall > Dump Alarms 15 minutes before the crash time and right before the crash time. Then I usually wait for it to CTD with my eyes glued upon the game clock.

Dumping alarms creates another Script Error xml in your Sims 3 folder and I believe you also need Error Trap for this. Looking at logs for errors is basically a guessing game 🧐 😸 You mostly look at what's happening around the time of the crash. Identifying the problem can be tricky, like playing darts blindfolded. 😹 This time, it only took like 6 or 7 reboots!

The theory in NRaas' chatterbox is that persistent crashes are caused by alarms. The game uses alarms to check things periodically or occasionally depending on the situation and when the check returns with an error it may crash the game. My uneducated guess.

In my case, one of the town kids had a play date with Midori. The next day around noon the crash started to happen. It was Snowflake day and there were multiple parties happening around the town including my active lot. Looking at the logs I guessed it might be a visit situation issue. One by one eliminating parties before the crash time didn't solve the issue.

And then I realised there is still a visit situation happening on my lot even though there was no ongoing event. Checking the error logs again I found out that the game was still checking time for the child from previous evening, whether it's time to leave when the child was actually at the Winter Festival.

And this one big adventure ends with me reseting that child and saving the day. Yay. So Fayne Island perseveres once more.

This is just a little intro and the moments described happened in the past, next parts ain’t going to be flashbacks. Seeing the outside world- the ocean, finding out about the enemy- Marley, the truth about the titans,.. it was hard to process. they needed new plans- new strategies to defeat Marley. Eren was their ultimate weapon. With him on their side they had to win. But how?

When Marley send out one of their ships to Paradis, it was like a gift. The second ship marked the arrival of their new accomplices. Yelena and her people were more than helpful. But Yelena wasn’t the only one. Onyankopon, Niccolo, and her.

Normally, he wouldn’t care. A soldier from Marley is nothing special. But she was so different at the same time. It was strange that all of them wanted to help Paradis. They betrayed their own country for them.

In order to come forward with their research, they accepted Yelena’s help. They started to build outside the walls. The titans were all gone, no need to worry now. Some were forced to help, some wanted to.

Niccolo wasn’t very impressed at first. He was complaining nonstop while cooking the seafood for the scouts. After Sasha took the first bite, he shut up quickly. He was quite flustered actually. She and Yelena were there too. She found it hilarious.

Laughing loudly with a quiet ‘I told you’ at the end.

Just like Yelena and Onyankopon, she never seemed to hate the Eldians of Paradis Island. He hated it. Thinking about her. She wouldn’t leave his thoughts. He tried, he really did- she was the enemy after all. But he couldn’t. He tried to see something he wouldn’t like. And maybe he didn’t like talkative people. Or people who invade personal space. But at the same time, she was a bit shy. She would give space if he needed it.

She was the only one who dared to come closer than the rest. Even if he was supposed to be enemy. This conflict was going on for years now.

Even if he didn’t really show it, he didn’t mind her tired eyes looking into his. Or how she sometimes followed him like a lost puppy. How she always greeted him when he entered the room. The way she says his name…

‘Good morning Levi.’

‘How are you Captain Levi?’

‘Do you need anything Levi?’

‘Levi.’

But is he really that special? It’s not like he’s the only one she’s friendly with. She greets everyone. She talks to everyone the same. She always smiles when someone said something funny.

But not everyone gets a knock on their door at every possible hour of the day.

‘Could we have some tea together Levi? I think I have a few more ideas regarding…’

‘Hanges the commander, You should go to her.’ , is what he should say. But he lets her in. Every time. Conversations are nice, if it’s with the right person. He isn’t talkative, so she does the most of talking. He normally would prefer it quiet, yet he doesn’t mind the conversation. She’s always calm, it’s never about difficult topics, she stays polite,…

He wants to hate it. They notice. Everyone sees that she spends more time with Levi. But that he actually likes his time with her goes unnoticed. And it’s not like she tries anything with him. Hange said to him once that she probably tries to befriend everyone. Showing that she isn’t the enemy.

‘And you know, it’s so hard to read you, she wants to make sure that you two are on the same side!’

Hange didn’t help his problem.

He genuinely thinks that those are her true intentions. There’s this other side though. What if she’s a spy for Marley. What if she’s trying to get more information. What if she wants us to trust her so she can betray us.

But she wouldn’t do that, would she?

No.

He still has to be careful. Actually, he fucked that up too. It’s too late for being careful.

He couldn’t resist when she looked at him with those eyes. These damn eyes. And her smile. How could someone look at him this way? No one ever did. He can’t believe it. But he wants to. He wants to be selfish for once.

One evening, she would come to his door again. With two teacups in her hand.

‘Would you mind if we talk?’

He could never say no to her. So she comes in. She sets the two teacups down and starts to prepare everything. Levi just sat down. He wanted to help her, but every time he tried she refused. He doesn’t like how other people do his tea. This was his room and she, a prisoner from Marley, tells him what to do?

He accepts it. When everything is ready, she sits down with him and they drink their tea. She starts talking, he replies sometimes. It’s nice.

Somehow, their usual routine changed. She did nothing wrong. One small slip up and it was over. He was listening, until she stopped talking. Looking him directly into the eyes. The smile from before slowly fading. Did he do something wrong? Well fuck.

And then the unexpected came. She complimented his eyes. He expected everything, but not that.

‘What.’

‘Your eyes. They’re beautiful. With the grey and the little blue sparks… You don’t see that often.’ Her smile was returning.

‘Why would you say that.’

‘Huh? Because it’s the truth?’

Not a lot people made him compliments. He has gotten love letters before, or weird request. But not compliments. They either found him to scary to say that to his face, or they simply didn’t find anything to compliment. Well maybe expect on the battlefield. On how he did a good job or something like that. But not about his appearance.

They loved to comment on his height rather than his other features.

And that was his moment of weakness. He didn’t know what to say. And he didn’t. He grabbed the base of her neck and brought her forward to his face. He kissed her. He didn’t know why he did it. He didn’t know why she kissed him back, bringing her hand up to his cheek. This was his sign to stop. He pulled back and stared at her. His eyes were wide because what the fuck just happened. Why did he do it. Shit she’s going to slap him now.

She looked at him. Not one word came out. Levi did the only rational thing.

‘Don’t take that personal.’

‘I won’t.’

‘Okay.’

…

‘Will you take it personal if I do it again?’

He should’ve said no, but he couldn’t. He couldn’t say anything, so he shook his head. A tiny smile formed onto her face and she pressed their faces against each other. He didn’t mind, even if he should.

She also didn’t take it personal when they left the kitchen. Or when she sat on the bed, when he followed soon. Or when he undressed her. She didn’t mind him seeing.

He didn’t take it personal when she whispered his name. It was so different compared to the other times. Only for him to hear. It felt good.

He didn’t take it personal how she let him do things he could only dream of.

How it could even get to this point. They shouldn’t have. The only thing he could focus on was the way she looked when he touched her. This beautiful face still looking at him this certain way.

No one could know. This intimate moment together. How she moaned his name. How he held her even closer every second. How good they looked together. How good they felt.

It was so against the rules. They were from two different worlds. Their countries were at war, yet they decide to forget all that for what? The world was cruel. He wanted more of that.

No one really knew what to say afterwards. Both in his bed. He felt filthy. Not because of what they had done, but because of what he had to do now.

‘You should clean up and then go to your room again. It’s getting pretty late.’

He couldn’t even look at her. But he saw the nod in the corner of his eye. She stood up and fuck- he might do it again. It wasn’t only the sex, her in his room, his bed, he wanted that. She looked so beautiful like this.

She started collecting her clothes and just as she was about to put them back on-

‘Clean up here. You can’t go back like this.’

Only a nod again. She looked guilty. A bit sad even. Before she could really disappear in his bathroom she turned around.

‘Levi-‘

‘That wasn’t personal either. No one can find out about this. We would get into trouble, you hear me?’

It was harsh, but he had to set boundaries. This went too far already no need to make it worse.

He could only dream of what was about to come.

OH MY GOD YAY!!!! I am feeling so nervous compiling a list. I am mostly into Superfam so my recommendations will be around that. Comics are a bit of a tricky medium to get into because stories have been written for them since like, the 1940s, but there are new characters who help ease into the DC universe. It helps to read runs(usually what you call one comic book serialization)based on characters rather than titles because your fave may show up in random other places.

I'll give my journey with comics and how I got to know these characters

For superfam, starting with Jon Kent & Jay Nakamura! They're the ones I'm always posting about

Superman: Lois & Clark by Dan Jurgens and Lee Weeks: backstory with Jon as a kid with Lois and Clark, if you want to know more about Lois & Clark and how Jon was raised, this one is good.

Superman (2016) by Tomasi and Gleason: Further backstory on Jon's life with Lois & Clark as a child, it's a mediocre story with a bunch of american right-wing propaganda but the Jon stories are important build up for what comes next

The Man of Steel (2018) by Bendis Issue 6: Yes, JUST issue 6.

Superman (2018) by Bendis Issue 7-10: Continuation from Man of Steel and covers what many refer to as "the jon kent age-up". This is gonna be a bit of a tedious read because the writer for this sucks at his job. But this is unfortunately essential to understanding how Jon gets to where he is.

Superman: Son of Kal-El by Tom Taylor: If you want to jump right into Jon's time as Superman and see his blooming relationship with Jay, this is the go-to. This was my first DC comic and acts really well as an introduction for new readers

Action Comics (2016): #1050 (a big thing happens wrt to Jay and Jon)

Adventures of Superman: Jon Kent by Tom Taylor: Direct sequel to SOKE

my main will traits- so sooo charismatic. constant performer, always bending over himself so people see only what he wants! he’s tricky, he’s fast, everything is a game to be WON, not just played. he’s the same with his family, i think. only people who’ve truly seen that mask fall is henry, when they were first getting started way back when, and mike, mid mci. from the animatics you can probably get a sense of how he approaches mike and that whole thing- idk idk YEAH YIPPEE

main deisgn notes- hair is straighter than mikes, eyebrow tail thingies, moles, chipped teeth, very very sharp jaw and cheekbones post-bite. for david miller i jsut give him glasses and a mustache, for pre-bite i give him sideburns and a more ruffled appearance, he’s much more easy going then. still very much always watching and playing the game, but in a like. different way. idk i have different ways of trying to soften or sharpen depending on the emotions/place in the timeline/whatever else. I'm putting these two together bc the first one is to do with a super creepy anon who has a very loud and fully parasocial "our relationship" attitude toward Lily and Oscar and ironically thought that me saying that I engage in rpf for fun on a website that requires multiple hoops to get through to even scroll one page of someone's blog. and the second is the side of fandom who have developed a certain idea of "perfect relationships" based solely on the woman remaining largely unknown and the man a major public figure.

okay, so. full disclosure: I don't have a great view of heterosexual relationships when it comes to what they do to women and what they take from women. I'm not automatically down on any of them and as always I'm like, other people's choices are fully their own and my opinions are irrelevant as far as they're concerned!

it's pretty obvious from me repeating over and over but first and foremost !! I am aggressively against internalized misogyny in fandom spaces, and esp toward the women who date or marry male public figures. it's absolutely rampant on a larrying level in carlando and pretty damn bad in dando and I've been adamant that landoscar won't fall prey to those people (carlando and dando fandoms still have plenty of great people, just to say <3).

but make no mistake, me sticking up for these women is because they do not deserve abuse as a basic decency. they're not dolls I pick up and put down based on if they happen to be with a guy I post about. they deserve respect regardless of who is observing them and why. *if they're genuinely problematic then that's a separate topic but holy shit only bring that morality if you're prepared to apply it to the men you're a fan of at the same time !!

the fact that we only know these women based on the man they're dating or married to is already problematic and I get pretty grossed out when fans go hard for a gf or wife and then easily transfer that energy immediately when there's a breakup and a new gf or wife. it's equally gross when they continue to follow the ex and say how much they "miss her" or constantly bring up her ex in spaces she can see.

so when I speak up about or for Lily and any other wife or girlfriend of a driver, I'm doing so with full respect for how uncomfortable it is that I only know of her existence bc of a man. and that I also have a responsibility in a fandom space - even one as fairly invisible as tumblr - to kick back at fans who attack them purely to create space for their rpf ship fantasy or their own unhealthy obsession.

it's also why you'll see me being a broken record about keeping the line between rpf for fun and the reality of these men's relationships.

I don't think I'll ever believe that a woman is anything but relatively happy in a partnership with the type of man who has to give their entire selves to their career. especially F1 that demands 10 months of almost nonstop travel and commitments. and sorry, the whole 'yay she has her own career/life!' as some kind of consolation prize for her sacrifices doesn't work bc in order for the relationship to exist beyond phone calls and texts has always required the wife or girlfriend to fly wherever he is to spend time together. very occasionally, I see someone like George or Alex make the effort during the season to fly out to their girlfriend. Oscar went on a minibreak with Lily during the break last season. like, that's bare minimum lol and nothing compared to these women flying across the globe and being stuck waiting around while their bf or husband only has the rare hour or so between commitments on a race weekend.

so any "praise" of a wife or girlfriend for how they accommodate a man's career and "stay out of the spotlight" or "stay private" is a massive red flag for me. an largely invisible woman dating a man with a public profile will never feel like an organic decision on her part to me. it's a reaction to a situation that shouldn't exist.

"his fans and fangirls are awful though" yea and that's not fucking right and it's not a reason to let them win. decent fans can work harder to suppress the shitty ones and mass report accounts. and I know that for Lily Z, she's gotten temporary respite by being nothing more than a woman walking beside Oscar and not "giving haters any ammunition". but for example, even though Lily M and Carmen still get occasional shit from idiots who just want to hate, they go relatively unscathed because the decision was made early on to be in on the rpf ship jokes and George and Alex consistently make as many posts about them in a sort of joint, impenetrable "this is our relationship and you will not drive these women into hiding". Lily's hugely intelligent and has professional STEM aspirations of her own.

it's wayyyyy too convenient to say she's as private as she is because privacy fulfills her and brings her happiness. it's just the flipside of haters giving her a conditional reprieve bc they don't have to be annoyed by her having a visible personality.

and guess what? we've never once heard from Lily herself that she would be private even without dating a man in the public eye. we've heard what her boyfriend has said. we've heard from Kym Ilm*n. and women in fandom have taken that and decided it's permission to praise her for not wanting to face unfair abuse. like ??? I am not ok with that lol.

"maybe she just doesn't want to be super visible or have a public identity!" nah. if she's under 50 then having a public identity is fully the norm so it's too much of a convenient reach to make that assumption. and if she has a career of her own then she absolutely needs to have a public identity. even when you start out in entry positions, showing the work you do and the people you work with is totally normal for advancement. (I'm in shitty jobs so that doesn't apply to me lol but no F1 wife or gf will be working my jobs. almost all the women I know are in aspirational careers tho.)

women deserve to at least have a go at being a dynamic, public person who pursues life to the degree she chooses irrespective of her bf - and if afterward she finds she wants to be super private and raise a man's babies out of sight AND SHE SAYS SO HERSELF then that's absolutely wonderful.

but absolutely no one can convince me that women aren't conditioned and pressured in a world like F1 to either shut up and stay out of the way, or that they're "asking for it" if they do live publicly and have crazies stalking them and sending them abuse.

*side note that I've heard some ummm potentially not great things about Seb with regard to women that are not worth repeating here in case they've been blown out of proportion or just rumors. -brutal destiny, which I'm trying very hard to wrap up by middle of December, and it's a little over 15k right now with parts still missing 🥲

-a holiday fic, which I yapped about very briefly with you ehe! kind of like the cooking blog holiday fic I did last year, it's going to be a clichéd, cheesy, romcom-style fic with a guaranteed happy sappy ending. so far the theme is "small town holiday + unconventional getting together" 👀

-baker!Nico and barista!Jack AU, which is a little tricky rn bc I'm trying to incorporate social media in it again, but it could happen! not sure if I want this to be a shorter fic or maybe a two/three-chapter situation, filled with tasty baked treats and two idiots taking it nice and slow getting together LOL

-kindergarten AU, which I'm riding a wave of recent inspiration from to formulate something. I'm envisioning a lot of oblivious Nico and bad-at-flirting Jack in the beginning, then a lot of Nico having a low-key identity crisis after developing a huge crush over Jack being cute with kids. And maybe Jack finally experiencing what it's like for someone to really like him for him. 🥺

I did jot this plot point down today tho: The kids all immediately want to play hockey, but Jack firmly tells them they have to follow Mr. Nico’s lessons first (“He’s Coach Nico! What’s the play, Coach Nico!” “...Shapes and Songs, Jack.” “Okay! We’re gonna crush Shapes and Songs, kids!” Teeny tiny “Yay!!”).

C: What character do you identify with most?

Oooh that's a tricky question... I think I can't boil it down to just one character but a blend of characters? I think the characters I tend to stan and ship are a good indicator bc I usually fixate most on ships and characters that somehow speak to me or that I relate to.

For example with XueXiao, I really identify with Xiao Xingchen in the way that he is kind and helpful to others and follows this ideal of wanting to make the world a better place and leaving the mountain for that, aka a place he could stay placid and content in, to instead do something about the injustices he knows about in the "real world", even if that means facing hardships and pain and struggles.

As for Xue Yang, I really relate to him and see him as my deepest darkest side if I could throw my morality over board. I am someone who whole-heartedly proclaims "eat the rich" and means it, so if I was any more like Xue Yang in the way not to give a fuck, I'd also just kill the people that hurt me or others and go unhinged... 😅🙈 Slight difference between us being I would not kill indiscriminately and for the fun of it or for the slightest offense but really only target corrupt rich people and super capitalists and fascists that have it coming for them 🤭

K: What's the angstiest idea you've ever come up with?

I really don't want to spoil anything, but it has to do with an alternative chapter / ending I came up with for my LiuJiu A/B/O fic. I love happy endings as much as the next fanfic reader but sometimes I just want to make myself and others hurt. And this one will hopefully make my readers scream.

Also there's a XueXiao reincarnation fic WIP I can't wait to post. It's nearly finished and I wrote it while listening to Tom Odell's "Another Love" on repeat - which should give you enough of a vibe to imagine the angst level of this fic. I'll just say this much: unrequited love 🤭👍🏼

Maybe it's because I'm too young to know that phrasing or maybe it's a native speaker thing but I had to google what this meant first and hope Google got it right 😅🤣

My WIP file is massive... To give you a glimpse: Next to the ones mentioned above I've also started:

- an angsty post-canon Beefleaf fic, where SQX is haunted by a hanging ghost and made to kill herself but HX intervenes and they start their journey of reconciling, don't know if I'll ever finish it...

- a VegasPete vampire / vampire hunter AU based on a Tumblr prompt and gif-set post but I'll very likely never continue that...

- a LiuJiu AU where SJ is present during the events of SVSSS and LQQ knows SY is an imposter and now tries to bring back SJ into his former body. This has angst and hurt written into every line. Sadly it's merely all in my head...

Enemies to Lovers always hits! It's my jam!

Also the angstier the merrier! Hit me with the feels, the pain, the hurt, the agony! Doesn't even have to have a happy ending, I'm a sucker for being emotionally destroyed and also emotionally destroying my readers (though I tend to give them a happy ending at least) 😈🤣👍🏼

And, like you, omegaverse is my guilty pleasure - the smuttier the better 😏

And speaking of guilty pleasures I also have to say monster-fuck AUs are on the menu as well... There have been some really good SongXueXiao ones, I've read. Didn't know that was something I'd ever be into - my 14 year old self would probably be appalled. But here we are 🤣🤣

Soulmate and Fated Pair AUs are something I like to dig into as well.

And I'm also really into mermaid AUs. Especially when one is human and the fic gives off The Little Mermaid vibes.

T: Any fandom tropes you can't stand?

I don't know why but any modern day AUs especially High School AUs... I just can't read it. The most I will do is mob boss / mafia or reincarnation where they slowly uncover their past, but if canon events are set in modern times/contexts I don't really like it for some reason 😅

But I'm actually quite open to a lot of fics and it's mostly not the tropes I can't stand but characterisation or writing style 😅🙈

V: If you could write the sequel/prequel to any fanfic out there (not you own) which would it be?

Bruh... What a difficult question... I haven't ever thought about writing continuations or pre-quels for existing fic as I love them the way they are and mostly just in between imagine possible canon-divergences if the characters had made different choices...

But I guess, from the top of my head, I'd like to write a sequel to "Mark of Jasmine" to give LiuJiu an alternative or reincarnation happy ending because they've really been played in that one... 🙈😅

Y: A character you want to protect?

So many. All my little blorbos and meow meows. On the top of that list - obviously - Xue Yang. But I'd also step in front of my best bois Loki and Shen Jiu to shield them. They deserve so much better 💕😭

Digimon World: Digital Card Battle (1999) - End game thoughts (20 hrs in)

Yay, this was really fun and easy to beat! Honestly, that's how I like my video games, I just want to chill at the end of the day, not stress out. There were one or two battles that presented a slight challenge and that's good enough for me.

This game had so much charm and was a fabulous companion to Digimon World 1. It's kind of like its quirky and more casual cousin. Kind of baffled that there isn't a fan translation (that I could find) because it's honestly a pretty short game with not a lot of dialogue.

I'm going to do a little bit of post-game poking around, but here are my immediate thoughts after beating it.

Notes:

-I wonder if the lack of localization is 100% due to the Hitler stuff (which...fair) or if there's more to it than that. I get that it would have been difficult to cut that part out entirely, but maybe they could re-skin things to look less sus? I dunno...too late now.

-I was so happy with all the stats they give you during the end credits, that was such a nice touch! They gave me my playtime, how many times I saved, what decks I used and how I used them. Interesting stuff. I feel like TCG are for stats nerds lol (the only math class I enjoyed in high school)

-It was really cute how they recreated all of the scenes from the game with CGs. Of course, it would have been nice if those were just in the game proper, but oh well :/ it was fun looking back on all the battles and quirky events

-So...the Japanese was a bit tricky for me to follow, but it seems like this whole game had a gag plot? Like you spend the whole game trying to get to Mt. Infinity to retrieve a "bug card", but then you get to the final boss and he's like, "Huh? Who are you? What's going on? I've never heard of a bug card in my life." And then Betamon (who came with you for moral support) is like "oh yeah, I dropped that card and it was blown away by the wind to the top of this mountain teehee." Lol. So really, there was no villain...I guess. Really the MC and Babamon are the assholes for destroying Machinedramon's home for no reason.

-Speaking of gag plot, most of the plot of this game is on the very silly, toilet humor side. A majority of it is tracking down toilet paper and finding the culprit of who is breaking all of the toilets. In hindsight, this might be another reason this didn't get localized...

-So Babamon was Rosemon all along...okaaay. I didn't really get this twist because Rosemon switched back and forth between her two forms throughout the game before the bug card (which supposedly cause the transformation) was destroyed. Maybe it was a Fiona from Shrek situation.

-I was a little sad that I got all of these great "Sevens Cards," but then didn't want to use most of them. The only one I really ended up using was the holy one because it gave my digimon +1000 HP. Everything else seemed too risky to use. Honestly I used the same deck without many changes for 90% of the game. Kind of lame, but editing decks was sorta painful in how time consuming and clunky it was. It seems like arranging a deck would be a lot more fun IRL though, I kinda wish I had some actual cards to fool around with.

-I was surprised to see that there's no Analogman in this game. I guess that just goes along with this being a much chiller, parallel universe.

-I physically can't 100% this game (because of missable battles), so I'm just going to take it easy for post-game stuff. See how many more cards I can get and do a couple more battles. Excited for this game's sequel!

Despite the weirdo storyline and questionable content, this was one of the better Digimon games so far. Due to my high levels of enjoyment, I'm giving it a solid 7 out of 10.
