You don't have to be embarrassed! That's what the wiki's for, baby. TLDR, Matches Malone used to be a real person in the DC universe, but now he's largely a Crime!sona for Bruce when he needs to go undercover. He's an arsonist, he's dressed real ugly, he's obnoxious and no one likes him— but he does good business. That's how he gets into places.

I have my own rec post on Matches Malone-based fics I've at least read, if not outright enjoyed (and am somewhat modeling my own fic after, asterisk asterisk I change some stuff for my own enjoyment.) My own little fic is here!! applicable TWs and all, where I started up on what the fic might look like if I actually finished the bits I've been working on. My rounding-up goal is basically to polish off the first chapter so I can upload it to ao3 🧡

I was determined to use the drawing tablet to finally draw something, so i doodled this last night:-

hahaha.. I can't help but think that their fight is a liiiittle bit similar to that one concept in Naruto where Naruto and Sasuke attempt to understand eachother's feelings through their fists, hence Gojo was able to recognize Sukuna's loneliness and inability to understand love, and tried his best to convey his own emotions to Sukuna through the fight.

But on a more comedic note, Gojo has a thing for people who are able to kill him, and Sukuna's out here irritated, annoyed, and quite frankly, a little confused with the recent trend of people's obsession with trynna teach him about love. (Maybe he has made a mistake incarnating into this timeline????)

FFS the man is currently trapped within Yuta's ""True Mutual Love ❤"" Domain atm, its February and i think the next chapter's physical copy is releasing on Valentine's Day, whats with all of this symbolism!!!?!!

To be fair, I don't think every Christian is theologically fucked if they find out their parent's a Greek god; the Christian Unitarian Universalists I know, for instance, have a level of theological chill I can only envy. You could walk up to them and invite them to a Flying Spaghetti Monster luncheon and they'd thank you for giving them the chance to explore new horizons lmao! Likewise, there are non-strict Christians who do their own things, lapsed Christians who are exploring their own way of moving forward, Christopagans who untie knots I can't even see head nor ass of, etc etc.

Specifically, the most fucked people would be hardcore monotheists: Catholics, probably, and highly conservative Christians whose theology only allows for a singly, omnipotent God. Because, like...fuck. There's a Greek god. That guy made you. That's not a saint, it's not Jesus...these aren't miracles. It's literally just a divine expression of power, in a world where you thought there was only the one, singular God. What the Fuck™

Yeah, everyone has their own views on the nature of divinity and its ability to affect the natural world, but if your thinking is limited to "there is only One holy Guy for literally everyone and everyone," you're going to struggle between a hard place of "completely inflexible thinking" and a rock-hard "absolute proof of another religion being right, or at least somewhat present in the world" lol.
