Mates & Mating

When mates mate for the first time, it’s the official seal of their bond and they feel it. It’s usually described as “ nothing they’ve experienced before”.  It’s a very special and magical time.

Due to it being far more enjoyable,  shifters and werecreatures only mate in their human forms. However, if the mates are of the same species or similar to, it’s not unheard of for them to do so in their animal forms.

After mates mate, their scents will mix into one that will only smell attractive to them. It typically turns off other shifters and were’s  , especially the females when they’re in heat, however it is not detectable by humans ( if a human mated with a werecreature or shifter,  they would also possess this scent stopping other werecreatures and shifters from pursuing them) .

Male shifters and were’s are easily able to tell when their female mate ( human or not ) is fertile and will usually want to mate. If they’re mate has no desire to, they’ll usually wait until she expresses she’s ready before approaching again.

Female shifters and werecreatures go into heat four to five times a year.  This is when her body is telling her she’s ready to have offspring. Their heat usually lasts four days to a week. During this time she and her mate will separate themselves from everyone during this time until it’s over.

Knockout could see energon on his ship's scanners. There were smaller blips, which made him tense. The smaller blips were Cybertronians. He needed the energon, desperately. But he also deserted. Not the best of odds. Suddenly, the smaller blips started vanishing at an alarming rate.

Knockout glanced out of the windshield and yelped, grabbing onto the controls as he caught sight of a flash of red heading right for him. The medic wasn't quick enough, the red mass slamming into the ship, passing through and making the console spark. He was conscious for just a moment before it hit him as well and everything just stopped.

He came to with a start, optics flickering back online and engine sputtering. He heaved himself up off of the console, optics wide. The windshield was cracked to the pit, the mech unable to make anything out. Green sparks traveled up his arm before vanishing just as quickly. "Ok. Weird." The cherry-colored racer tried pressing a few buttons, but the ship was completely offline. "Scrap."

Knockout stumbled back, still feeling disoriented from his apparent crash landing. He didn't know what hit him, but it destroyed his one way out. He approached the door, seeing a massive dent warping the metal and sealing the exit shut. He growled and threw his hands up into the air. "Of course the fragging door's stuck!" The windshield was a definite way out. But then came the questions on where he was and what he could do once he was outside. He was in a rough spot. Knockout grumbled and stomped back over to the console, climbing up onto it and working on smashing through the weakened glass. All it took was a well-aimed punch to make himself an exit.

Clambering up onto the outside of the ship, the medic frowned. Tall, brown structures with green masses atop of them were surrounding him. Trees, he realized, though not like some of the more flashy varieties he'd seen on his travels. Knockout looked around, hoping for anything that could point him towards a sign of civilization, but all he could see were more trees. He sighed and sat down, burying his face in his palms. Here he was, ship destroyed, no energon, in the middle of nowhere and no one to help. There was a good chance he'd end up dying here.

Then a thought struck him.

It was a long shot, but he still had access to the old Decepticon comm lines. Assuming they were still functioning.

With a sense of desperate dread, he opened his comm line.

:: I don't know if anyone will get this, but I need help. I'll keep my comm open so whoever hears this can find me. My name is Knockout, my ship is destroyed and I desperately need energon. ::

You know, at this point I'm wholeheartedly convinced that fanart/fanfiction/fan any content is what's keeping Hellaverse alive because when fan content has better writing and portrayals of these characters than the actual shows and canon themselves you kinda know you fucked up.

I'm not necessarily talking about fanon either, I've been writing within the Hellaverse RPC (roleplay community) here for almost a year now and seeing how people take these characters, deconstruct them and flesh them out with their own spin on things regardless if these are just small little add ons to already established lore or drastic changes, the share creativity coming from these writers and the muns I've befriended make me wish we had a show(s) that was made with as much love and care than those who do enjoy Hellaverse in some shape or form.

It also helps that half of that RPC is as critical and salty as I am. Birds of a feather flock together.

Don't get me wrong, the Hellaverse fandom as a whole is a cesspool of toxicity and horrible people, there are bad eggs within the RPC as well trust me, but one of the reasons why I am still in some of these spaces (critical and small groups with friends) is because I enjoy the creativity that comes out of those who do have passion and care for these shows and what they could have been suppose to what they ended up being...

Idk I feel like despite how cynical and jaded I've become and stopped watching Helluva Boss all together outside of the shorts that interest me, I like to look on the more positive parts of the fandom and community even how much the Stans and toxic fans extremely outnumber them...

Role: “The Babysitter”

Whilst in Westview with her mother, Cassandra takes up the alias of “Calliope” the sweet girl-next-door style babysitter of Billy and Tommy.

Episode 1: "Calliope" introduces herself to her new neighbours alongside her mother, and she helps "Agnes" carry the ingredients into the kitchen later in the episode.

Episode 2: "Calliope" gives Wanda Señior Scratchy, who she states is her rabbit, and she sits with "Agnes" and "Mrs Hart" during the talent show.

Episode 5: "Calliope" offers to babysit the twins alongside her mother, and she shares the same nonchalance as "Agnes" towards the rapid aging of the twins, and she encourages them to keep Sparky.

Episode 7: "Calliope" is left in charge of babysitting the twins and, as Agatha’s true identity and intentions arise, Cassandra sheds the alias and reveals herself as her mother’s assistant and ward, she is in the musical number for Agatha All Along.

Episode 8: Cassandra is present for Agatha questioning Wanda, but she gets blasted out of Westview by Agatha and told to escape whilst she still can.

Name's Arven. I've been told I should start journaling. It's stupid, but I don't really have much of a choice, so. Here I am, I guess.

I'm 16, I go to Naranja-Uva academy, and I'm actually bothering with the Treasure Hunt this year. I'll be tackling the gyms, because I want to get stronger. And I'll do whatever it takes.

I only got three Pokémon right now: a Houndstone, a Wooper and a Foongus.

My team's currently up to five: Houndstone, Clodsire, Foongus, Vespiquen, and Crabrawler. They don't really have nicknames, but I call my houndstone Mabosstiff for... Reasons. If Team Star says I'm a member, they're lying.

I'm not that interested in making friends, so don't come crying to me if I hurt your feelings.

Hello everyone! This is going to be a bit of a big update this weekend, and probably not the only one you'll see over the course of a few days, but it's twelve thirty in the morning and I need to sleep. I have gone insane again. ✨This is nothing new.

I think the first and most important thing I want to iterate in this update is that I have broadened the scope of who can submit and what Communities I will be accepting for the Compendium going forward. Though consent and owner-approval is still at the forefront of my mind, I have to be conscientious of my own work-load and the health of the project (but mostly the former) when it comes to sourcing Communities. To that end, I want to note the following update on the Compendium itself.

UPDATE 7/26/24: After a bit of introspection regarding my own time commitments, limitations around submissions and the Compendium in general, I have changed my stance around server/community-owner requirements in regards to categorisation and consent. While owner/moderation-approval is still at the forefront of my considerations, it is far better for my limited time (and the Compendium’s health) to operate under the assumption that a publicly accessible site/discord/carrd etc. indicates endorsement for it to feature here. To that end, I am broadening the scope of who can submit and what I include. If you know of a community, regardless of if you are the owner or moderator, I encourage you to submit it.

I'm hoping this change, while creating a larger workload for me now, will assist in cutting down my overall stressors later down the line.

CHANGELOG

To facilitate the change with events / community servers, I have placed Free Company servers into the same category as Friends/Casual. My reasoning behind this is that Free Companies have the capacity to be much smaller / intimate than events and communities, and likely will still require consent from their owners before being displayed on the Compendium. This may change if I find something that works better.

Added clarification around personal / single-character ads; namely, while they won't be shown on the Compendium, they are likely to be posted either on the Tumblr Community or Discord.

More information has been added re. the changes to submission and acceptance. Namely that resource / server / community owners can contact me for amendments or removal. Also clarification around some public communities requiring application processes.

The submission guidelines have been changed to reflect the above updates.

SEAFLOOR has the addition of #community-drop to allow members to submit communities as well.

Removed disclaimers around Tumblr Communities due to updates with the beta. It is now up to community leaders to ensure their join links are correct.

im currently attending my first year at naranja-uva academy in the general studies track. i grew up in spikemuth but ive recently learned that i was not born there, rather having been born in kalos and growing up there before suddenly being brought to galar several years ago.
