Presentation. That is what Kier had called this while talking to Mor, what none of the inner circle members knew it was, what neither of them had expected was seeing a line of omega females, all of them different ages, the youngest being eight from what Rhysand could see of the two faelings trying to hide behind anything that could cover them.
Rhysand stayed silent, watching the commotion of the younger omegas, the children, trying to run away, the elder ones who were almost a hundred standing still, looking nearly dead inside.
"Kier what is this!" Mor demanded, her eyes blazing with fury seeing the chaos in front of them, neither of the inner circle's faces were cracked of their cold Night Court persona, but Rhysand knew that Cassian and Azriel were just as disgusted as him and his cousin at the scene.
Kier stood in front, motioning towards the omega females, "Just a gift for the High Lord."
Rhysand's gaze swept over the assembled omegas, taking in their varied states, some trembling with fear, others seeming numb, a few even appearing resigned to their fate. His eyes lingered on one of the youngest, a nine-year-old girl clinging to her older sister, tears streaking down her face, but the elder female, a clearly bonded beta, gave no damn, shoving the child away from her. A wave of anger washed over him, but he tamped it down, knowing it would serve no purpose now.
"How very thoughtful of you," Rhysand said, a cruel smirk on his face, directed towards no one but Kier. The smirk on Rhysand's face sent chills down everyone's spine, knowing full well the implications behind those words.
"You… You can't be serious," Mor whispered, her voice trembling with rage and disgust at the scene, only for Rhysand to hear.
But Rhysand ignored her, getting up from his throne, the almost three hundred alpha made his way to the omegas, he looked at them, taking them in, the younger ones were barely old enough to acknowledge themselves as omega, or him as their High Lord or alpha, they were simply scared children, while the older ones, they bared their necks to him the second he stood up, they could sense his power, he knew he was powerful, a powerful enough alpha to dominate other alphas as well, it was all too fake in his eyes, they were pretending, trying to attract him.
He wanted to tear Kier a new one, demand what the male was thinking, he didn't want an omega, just like he knew Azriel and Cassian didn't. If he had one, he would claim them out of love, he wanted his omega to love to submit to him, and view him as alpha with trust in their eyes, not fear, or uncertainty. And the jewels and fancy dresses they were made to wear were almost laughable, as if money would've attracted him or would reflect on his choice.
Before he could make any move, he inhaled sharply, and he froze, that scent, he'd never felt anything else like it, never scented something that attracted him so much, he couldn't stop himself from seeing which omega it came from.
The scent hit him hard, like a punch to the gut. It was sweet, musky, and utterly intoxicating. He scanned the room again, searching for its source, his heart pounding against his chest. Then, he saw her, a petite figure huddled in the corner, her back pressed against the wall, her head bowed low. She was a mess of angry, tangled curls and her clothing, a corsetted dress, tight on her frame, she wore a giant pendant necklace that looked downright horrendous on her, taking from her features. Her scent, It was stronger here, near her.
She was beautiful, despite the clothes she had on, had she been his, he would've tamed her beautiful curls, bought her clothes that would go best against her pale skin, and put jewellery on her that would look lovely on her. There was something about her vulnerability that drew him in. Her innocence seemed untouched, untamed, unclaimed. And that thought alone made his blood boil with possessiveness. She was too pure, she wasn't faking anything, it almost felt like she was doing it without even trying, drawing him in by simply existing.
Rhysand approached her slowly, cautiously, as if afraid she might bolt. Rhysand stopped in front of her, towering above her, his imposing figure casting a shadow over her. His eyes roved over her form, taking in every detail, the curves of her body outlined beneath the clothes that looked cheap on her, she was way too good for them in his eyes, the swell of her breasts pressing against the fabric of her dress, the flare of her hips. Her scent grew stronger, filling his senses until it was all he could think about, the only thing he could see was her. He reached out a hand, intending to touch her, to confirm that she was real, that she wasn't just a figment of his imagination, but paused, not wanting to startle her.
Instead, he spoke softly, his voice a low rumble that vibrated through the air between them. "Who are you?"
Kiana had groaned in pain as the handmaid pulled at the strings of her corset, she hated it. She'd been forced to prepare for the High Lord's arrival for a week, she had been starved and dehydrated to lose weight, and her mother had pulled and pinched at the tips of her ears to make them look as if she was blushing, to look beautiful for the alpha, her father had told her to attract him, but she hated the thought, of being forced to be with an alpha, even if the omega in her cried for the familiarity of an alpha, to have a home with him, the thought of submitting to someone like the High Lord of the Night Court made dread fill her stomach, the thought of everything he might expect from her, she didn't want to be present around him.
The question caught her off guard, and she flinched slightly, her doe-like eyes widening as she glanced up at him. She bit her lower lip nervously, "I… I'm Kiana... My lord..." She stammered out, her voice barely audible. She shifted uncomfortably under his intense gaze, the corset digging into her ribs, making breathing difficult. She was terrified, unsure of what was happening, but she knew she needed to stay strong. She was an omega, after all, born to bear children and provide comfort.
She fought against the urge to submit to him, his scent was too powerful over her, his presence putting a weight on the back of her knees, and she fought against the need to submit to him. He wasn't her alpha, she wouldn't kneel to him, something that intimate was reserved for a male she loved, not a random alpha with too strong pheromones. So she stood strong.
The corner of Rhysand's lips twitched upwards, amused and yet impressed by her defiance. "Kiana, hmm?" he mused aloud, his violet eyes burning into hers. He leaned down, close enough that his breath fanned across her face, her scent enveloped him, making his head spin, he needed her. "You're quite pretty, considering the atrocious state you've been left in," he murmured, glancing pointedly at her clothes. He straightened back up and crossed his arms over his chest, surveying her as though he were a sculptor appraising a piece of marble.
He leaned back into her neck, inhaling her scent straight from the strongest source, and he growled, "You are mine." He claimed her.
Kiana's entire world narrowed down to the feeling of his warm breath against her neck, the roughness of his voice when he spoke. She nodded, her mind still reeling from the shock of his sudden declaration.
Rhysand almost groaned as she leaned into him subconsciously, before the realisation that he had claimed her hit in and she stood up straight. "This is horrible, sweet." He whispered against her neck, his hand slipping behind her neck, unclasping the heavy necklace, making it fall to the ground, the very fake gem of it cracking when it hit the ground. "Come with me, pretty omega."
She followed him obediently, knowing that she had no choice but to obey. As she walked behind him, she tried to calm herself, reminding herself that she was an omega, meant to serve and please. This was her duty, her purpose. She hated it, she wasn't supposed to have an alpha who didn't care for her, someone like Rhysand was rumoured to have omegas on the side, but if she played her cards right, perhaps he would just keep her for show, maybe he won't try to sleep with her.
Kiana watched Rhysand take a seat on his throne, her ears were ringing, her thoughts a mess, she saw him looking at her expectantly, but she hadn't heard him. She took a deep breath, trying to focus on her breathing, the thought of making a male like Rhysand mad at her was enough to calm her enough to listen to him.
"Come now, sweet omega, don't make me repeat myself again," He had his legs spread open and Kiana was sure she would pass out, he surely wouldn't make her kneel between his legs, the thought of doing that, not only for a male she didn't know, but her cheeks heated up at the thought of doing it in front of an entire court, her ears burning, but he simply patted his thigh, "Take a seat."
Kiana hesitated for a moment, her heart pounding in her chest, but ultimately, she did as she was told. She stepped closer to Rhysand's throne, her hands trembling slightly as she placed one upon his knee and upper thigh. Then, with a deep breath, she sat down, her skirts pooling around her. She kept her gaze lowered, unable to meet his piercing violet eyes. Her mind raced with thoughts of what could happen next, each scenario worse than the last. But she remained silent, not interacting with him even a little, even if her heart ached to want him as her alpha.
Rysand could sense the disapproval of his inner circle at playing Kier's twisted game as he spoke up, "This omega is mine."
The statement hung heavily in the air, echoing throughout the court. It caused a ripple of surprise and relief among those gathered, their gazes flickering from Rhysand to Kiana and back again. Some of them scoffed, others muttered under their breath, but none dared to challenge the High Lord directly.
But Rhysand ignored them all, focusing solely on Kiana seated so demurely before him. "Do you understand what that means, my little omega?" he asked her, his voice low and laced with a gentle tone, his voice low enough for only her to hear.
Rhysand waited patiently, allowing her time to gather her thoughts and compose herself. His eyes never left her, studying her reactions, her expressions, every subtle change that revealed how she felt about this sudden development. He could see the fear in her eyes, the confusion, but also a hint of something else, something stronger, more resilient. He found himself intrigued by this small, defiant omega who had been thrust into his life without warning.
"Look at me," Rhysand commanded softly, his tone inviting rather than demanding. When she finally raised her gaze to meet his, he smiled gently, a contrast to the harsh exterior he often displayed at how easily she followed his command when it wasn't as clear of an order as the one he had given her before. "I promise, there's nothing to fear from me, from any of us." he assured her, his words sincere despite the circumstances.
He reached out, tracing a finger along her jawline, his touch surprisingly gentle given his size and strength. "Trust is earned, not demanded," he continued, his voice dropping to a whisper as he leaned in closer. "And I intend to earn yours, little omega."
Kiana's body trembled at the warmth of Rhysand's fingers against her skin, her breath catching in her throat. Part of her yearned to lean into his touch, to let go of her fears and simply bask in the comfort he offered. But another part, a stubborn, determined part, held firm. She knew better than to let her guard down around someone like him, no matter how kind his words or how gentle his caress.
Rhysand noticed the tension in her body, the way she stiffened slightly beneath his touch. He withdrew his hand, respecting her boundaries even as he wished she would relax, allow herself to be comforted by him. "It's alright, sweet," he murmured, his voice soothing. "You don't have to do anything you're not comfortable with."
He sat straight, giving her space, his gaze never leaving her face as he observed her struggles. The omega within her clearly yearned for his touch, for the reassurance and protection only an alpha could provide, he didn't feel the need to comment on how she was picking at his pant leg, he was sure she didn't even know she was doing it. But the fear and uncertainty stemming from her current situation held her back. Rhysand knew he had his work cut out for him, but he was determined to help her overcome her fears and learn to trust him. He wanted her to trust him, to let her feel he would never hurt her.

hi! how do you usually go about naming your OCs? their names are so unique and recognizable ^.^
thank you :-) they just click with me. I rack my brain and come up with various names like dante, charlotte, maria, etc — my friend also helped with naming some characters during the early development of my story (and still do to this day. thanks ollie). then I look up the meanings of the names I got and see if they fit. trial and error. also with the influence of christianity in children’s heterotopia it’s not too hard to come up with names for a huge chunk of characters
a few examples from CH:
dane de la cruz: “de la cruz” means “on the cross”, first name is a letter t away from “dante”, protagonist of divine comedy, “t” is similar to the shape of a cross charlotte fitzgerald: first name taken from “charlotte’s web”, fitzgerald = “son of gerald”, gerald = “rule of the spear” angelo zamparelli: first and last names contain the first and last letters of the alphabet respectively (revelations 22:13), angelo = “messenger of god” rollie: nickname of “roland”, which is taken from “orlando”, a character from italian epic poetry “orlando innamorato” and “orlando furioso” graciela estefania rosa iglesias: graciela = grace, estefania = crown, rosa = rose, iglesias = church. references to her personality and backstory rayan adam and rayan bishara: “rayan” means “wise”, adam is the first human, the letter B comes after A, indicating that bishara is a clone deborah, esther, jonathan: three important biblical figures. you can look up the stories they’re from and associate them to the newgen kids’ names tsubaki yoshida-chao: “tsubaki” means “camellia” bettina eva da re: bettina means “my god is an oath”, eva is taken from a character in hermann hesse’s “demian”, frau eva, and they both share almost similar roles the family name “da re”: “like in the manner of a king” emil seebeck (saudade’s real name): the seebeck effect elsie wuthers, tracy trushcross, hannah thornfield: surnames are references to the bronte sisters’ works, “wuthering heights” and “jane eyre”, which features mansions and family tragedies hearse and his soldati: named after various objects associated with funerals elijah samuel harper: first and middle names are taken from biblical figures, “harper” sounds like “harpoon” which is a reference to his job as a sailor sir galahad and the knights: named after the knights of the round table chernobog and belobog: polabian deities
and so on, there are also names that I generally think sound cool (kiana, margot, ferdinand, cicero) but I also want each character’s names to have at least a bit of meaning to them! I also look up names of famous people like painters/artists/writers from some characters’ ethnicity/country to see if it fits. like charlotte — her surname fitzgerald is taken from the author of “the great gatsby”!
the general rule of thumb that I’ve seen most oc creators avoid is that we avoid using baby name generators or websites and do our own researches because a lot of times they’re innacurate and is just overall blegh. you know. thank you for letting me ramble

Kiana of Cintra was a failure. She failed at producing magic the way her sister had, she failed at being the princess her mother wanted, and when the time came to save her niece from the hands of Nilfgaard she had failed at that too. Queen Calanthe had charged her own daughter with the safety of Pavetta’s child and Kiana had lost her amongst the madness and chaos of Cintra’s fall. A chaos her mother had spent trying to help her daughters master after that fateful feast. Kiana of Cintra was a failure. but Kya the Woodwitch was not. Kya provided the people of Novigrad with their herbal remedies and soothing cures. Kya smiled and shared stories with the merchants decorating their tables and selling their wares. It was Kya who healed them with what little magic she possessed, and it was Kya who took in the Witcher and his Bard when they’d been injured. Kya who froze instantly upon hearing the name Geralt of Rivia. Kya, who was now forced to return to the life she’d known before the fall, as the Witcher and his Bard escort her back to Cintra in the hopes of passing her off as the missing Princess Kiana to earn their coin. The meeting feels more like chance than anything, but the threads of destiny are at work, drawing Geralt of Rivia and Kiana of Cintra closer together than ever before.

BREAKING NEWS!
After a vidtuber* went VIRAL leaking military secrets and security cam footage from inside royal palaces, the public responded quickly online!
The Strangerville Military was the first to respond to it's allegations. Ruling General Kiana Sorco held a press conference on the Hakzar Family Military Base, streamed around the world.
"We still have no concrete evidence of the identity of the Fourth Invasion Mother Plant," she addressed, "but we cannot rule out the possibility. Navigating the ruins of Britechester is still incredibly difficult, but we get closer to ground zero every day. We will bring you an official identification when the time comes."
When it came to addressing the now controversial Infected vaccines produced in Chestnut Ridge, Gen. Sorco wouldn't confirm or deny the allegations. However, she did confirm a research base for the Paranormal Botanical Garden was in the Chestnut Canyons.
In the possibility that orphans rehomed from the chaos in Strangerville were Infected at birth, Gen. Sorco has dismissed the claims completely. "That is impossible. Our research discovered that children cannot get Infected, however, from puberty onward is a Danger Zone that we focus on. That being said, please also make sure to vaccinate your children, so that Infection does not take hold in the future."
When it came to allegations of Infected children being passed through the adoption system, it was Tartosa's royal advisor Riku Aoki, who spoke on the matter.**
"This is impossible and preposterous!" he claimed. "Not only are these claims ridiculous, but this also hurts all children in the adoption system! Who will look after them? Who will care for them?! Will they ever have a loving home with these ludicrous allegations?! Will the entire world look at an adopted individual with suspicious eyes for the rest of their lives?! Shame on all of you!"
There is also outrage from Regent Queen Nifsara La Croy, who was adopted into the Seindu Royal Family and petitioned for adopted family members to be considered part of the royal lineage. The vidtuber's allegations along with her push to be next in line has immediately raised suspicions among the public. The Regent Queen went public herself immediately afterward, in an outrage.
"Test me!" she demanded. "Have me tested for Infection! You will find nothing! I did not rise from the ashes to be treated so poorly by my own people!" She has made statements of heading to Strangerville to be tested by the research personnel to verify her claims.
Amongst the chaos, another voice has begun to speak up. A WhiteTree witch by the name of Imari Xesuvixes has begun spreading the word about the failings of the royal family to the masses.
"Many of our leaders are mere children," she stresses, "children who cannot lead a country, put into this position by baseless traditions meant to keep the people oppressed." News sources indicate that the WhiteTree Coven may be separating from her to avoid controversy.
With the sudden onslaught of forbidden knowledge and hostility towards royalty, in the face of another possible invasion, we encourage our friends, family, and public figures around the world to stand firm and stand together. We are not each other's enemy, and must focus on the Invading Mother Plants as they come, in hopes of ending this war!

A Little Conversation, 2023.
"Stop giving me that look."
The person in front of me laughed as I nearly threw my hands up in frustration. He was nearly choking on his own soft drink before he cleared his throat and apologized. Making a small gesture with his hand, he signaled for me to continue my story as I rolled my eyes.
"Where did we leave off again?" I genuinely forgot where our conversation was, probably due to either annoyance or my memory weakening during the long, boring weekend. "Ah, right. You already know my name. I'm Hamasaki Khailan, but you can call me Khai. I was born in the year 2000."
I widened my eyes, giving him a death glare as he seemed on the verge of laughter. He then pretended to zip his mouth shut while nodding his head, prompting me to continue. "My father is a Japanese man who fell in love with an Indonesian woman, my mother. They met when she was pursuing her bachelor's degree in Japan. They were in the same program but in different classes. Quite cliché."
"May I know a little about their journey before they had you?" I finally appreciated a decent question without any laughter coming from him.
I nodded, attempting to recall some memories that my parents had shared with me. "Chichi was an only child, growing up solely with his mother—my grandma. Unfortunately, just a week after their marriage, she passed away. Since Chichi didn't have any close relatives, he made the decision to move to Indonesia after they graduated. Chichi asked Mama to bring him to her hometown, Solo."
He slightly parted his lips, showing interest in the journey of my parents that I had just shared. "So, you were born in Solo?"
Once again, I nodded. "Yes, I was born in Solo. My mother's family is quite large. Both of my grandparents from her side are still alive and in good health. They warmly welcomed my parents and even embraced my father as one of their own children. After almost a year of living there, Mama got pregnant, and that's when they had me."
"I heard you have a little sister?"
"I do," I smiled, a hint of amusement crossing my face as I recalled that little rascal. "Her name is Hamasaki Kiana. We have a ten-year age gap, and let me tell you, she's a walking chaos. There was this one time when Mama had to pinch her arms because she accidentally stepped on Chichi's new phone, cracking the screen. But despite all the mischief, I love her dearly."
He laughed as I talked about Kiana. Suddenly, I missed her and made a mental note to call her after our conversation. If it weren't for the fact that I'm in the middle of exam week, I would have visited her since yesterday.
"So, how did you end up here?" he asked.
He appeared visibly confused, and I couldn't help but laugh at his comical expression. It dawned on me that he might actually be the first person I've shared this story with.
"Well, I attended private schools throughout my entire education, starting from kindergarten. It was a norm in our big family—everyone went to private or international schools. But then, I wanted to try something different. Since most of my cousins studied in public universities, I decided to give it a shot."
Giggling, I reminisced about the amusing aspect of my journey before continuing to entertain the enthusiastic individual in front of me.
"It wasn't that my parents forbade me, but I really wanted to leave the city where I had grown up. I wanted to experience living in a different city. I had conversations with my parents about it, and surprisingly, Chichi gave me his approval, thinking that I had matured enough." I smiled fondly, reminiscing about my parents.
"But Mama and Kiana told me to stay. So, I decided to sneakily take the entrance exam for one of the most prestigious universities in Yogyakarta. Luckily, I was accepted."
He seemed curious and asked, "What was your mother and Kiana's reaction when they found out about you leaving Solo?"
"Oh, it was quite dramatic," we both burst into laughter. "They were crying, even though they knew it only takes about an hour to travel from Yogyakarta to Solo by train."
Taking a deep breath, I concluded my story, locking eyes with him. "So, there you have it. My monotone tale as a college student has officially begun!"

" So let me get this straight. That guy with the blue firey hair had that dude with the bangs do a 10 pull for me, which lead to his screen getting frozen then blacking out until a star which was carrying me came out of this very screen." Said [Name], who blankly stared at the shuffling squad in front of them.
" Mhm!" Ortho beamed like an innocent child.
" Sorry...?" Yuu nervously smiled.
Silence went upon the room as [Name] took in the time to process before looking at them directly, "Is there a way I can get back home?"
" Honestly I'm not so sure myself." Yuu bluntly said and had an irked face.
" W-we should probably inform the headmaster." Idia says after 5 hours of admiring [Name].

[Name] sat there and ponders. If this headmaster hasn't gotten this person home, they also are from another universe, but they are stuck here. And it seemed like they also had the same fate as the magic less prefect.
What a turn of events. They were hanging out with the Traveler & Kiana and were about to enter a wave rider competition if it weren't for the sudden force of stars coming their way into another universe. They hoped that their friends aren't too worried and frantic about the sudden disappearance of themselves. Yet they were much worried about Mobius. Main reason why, Mobius is a clingy sister roommate they took in after her defeat by Kiana. (I don't know the full story of that because I haven't played Honkai in a long time)
Mobius could easily tear a hole in the universe just to find [Name], but they lucky had gave her a rule about attempting that. They'd rather have no chaos and clashes between so many worlds already with that Unknown God running around.
"Um, [Name]? Are you there?" Yuu's voice snapped [Name] right out of their thoughts.
" Wassup?" Was what [Name] responded with.
" We're going to the Headmage's office, come with us Dazo!" The gremlin cat huffs.
[Name] just nodded and headed out of the room with Ortho, Yuu, Grim, and a floating tablet... Wait a minute. Floating tablet?
The [H/c] character looked at the Tablet that was floating in astonishment and utter bewilderment. They have never ever seen a device like this in the school they study in. Is this place more... modern as Kiana puts it?
Whatever, the four students of NRC led [Name] to the office of Dire Crowley, the useless- *cough* I mean Gracious Headmaster of Night Raven College, and entered. To sort of their surprise, he was reading actual paperwork.
" Ahem, excuse me, Headmaster?" Yuu got his attention.
"Ramshackle Prefect! What brings you here with Shroud-kun?" The headmaster asked.
" Let's say... we have a sort of complicated situation?" Yuu breathes in some air from their teeth.
"Pardon? What on Twisted Wonderland do you mean?"
That being said, it was explained the the bird brain about [Name's] situation and he looked like he didn't believe it at first, but he really did. [Name] felt like this guy was going to be pretty annoying from the time being as they stay here. Hopefully they don't have to stay here for too long, they get homesick after 2-5 months. Yes they count the days they feel homesick.
" As I conclude this conversation, I shall let [Name] stay here until there is a way for them to get sent back home, but for a cost." Crowley says.
"And that'll be..?" Yuu questioned.
"They become Ignihyde's Vice warden!"

[Name] blinked and gaped at nothing but the crow masked man. Vice warden? Isn't warden only fit for the prison owner or something? What on impact is this school about?
But with around and about, [Name] ended up being Ignihyde's temporary house warden for the time being. They wonder how they end up in a situation like this. Luckily it's only temporary. I don't think they'd have any patience left if they stayed here for long. Especially those overblots and trauma therapy going on.

Okami is TALL, tallest in 1A. Sadly he can’t be given many piggybacks with how stupid tall he is but he likes to give them. Since Okami has three little sisters he’s often dumped to watch over them for his parents who work at UA, he doesn’t mind though! Because of this Okami is used to giving piggyback rides and playing other childish games - plus with Okami being friendly with a lot of the small people in 1A (he’s basically their go to helper when it comes to getting stuff down from high places) he’s used to carrying his friends when they get tired from climbing up the hill to UA

In 1889, on November 1 in Gotha, Germany Anna Therese Johanne Hoch, who later would be known as Hannah Hoch was born. Being the eldest of five children, the girl was brought up in a comfortable and quiet environment of the small town. Her parents, a supervisor in an insurance company and an amateur painter sent her to Girl’s High school. However, at the age of 15 Hannah had to quit studying for the long six years to take care of her newborn sister. Only in 1912 she continued her education with Harold Bengen in School of Applied Arts, mastering glass design. As the World War I broke up Hannah returned to the native town to work in the Red Cross. The first years after war the young woman recommenced her studying, getting to know graphic arts. 1915 was highlighted by an acquaintance with an Austrian artist Raoul Hausmann, which grew into the long-lasting romantic relationship and involvement in Berlin Dada movement. For ten years till 1926 Hoch worked in Berlin’s major publisher of newspapers and magazines. Her task was to design embroidering, knitting and crocheting patterns for the booklets. Being on vacation with her beloved in 1918, Hannah discovered ‘the principle of photomontage in cut-and-paste images that soldiers sent to their families’ (National gallery of Art). This find affected greatly on her artistic production, and she created mass-media photographs comprising the elements of photomontage and handwork patterns, thus combining traditional and modern culture. Her prior preoccupation was to represent the ‘new woman’ of the Weimar Republic with new social role and The Owners freedoms. Hoch was the only woman in Berlin Dada, who took part in all kinds of events and exhibitions showcasing her socially critical works of art. Till 1931 she participated in exhibitions but with the rise of National Social regime was forbidden to present her creative work. Till her last breath in 1978 Hannah Hoch lived and worked in the outskirts of Berlin-Heiligensee. The piece of art which is going to be analyzed in this research is ‘The beautiful girl’ designed in 1919–1920. It combines the elements of technology and females. In the middle of the picture one can clearly see a woman dressed in a modern bathing suit with a light bulb on her head which probably serves as a sun umbrella. In the background a large advertisement with a woman’s hair-do on top is presented. Maud Lavin describes strange human as ‘she is part human, part machine, part commodity’ (Lavin). The woman is surrounded by the images of industrialization as tires, gears, signals and BMW logos. A woman’s profile with the cat eyes, untrusting and skeptical, in the upper right corner is eye-catching as well. This unusually large eye symbolizes DADA movement — a monocle, which is present in almost every Hoch’s work. The colour scheme does not offer rich palette of tints, including mostly black, white, orange and red pieces. The photo is surrounded by the BMW circles which add the spots of blue. An apt description of the piece is The Owners in the book ‘Cut with the Kitchen Knife’ and states that it is ‘a portrait of a modern woman defined by signs of femininity, technology, media and advertising’ (Lavin). In other words Hannah Hoch focused on the woman of the new age, free and keeping up with the fast-moving world. The artist promoted feministic ideas and from her point of view urbanization and modern technologies were meant to give hope to woman to gain equality of genders. With this photomontage she commented on how the woman was expected to combine the role of a wife and mother with the role of a worker in the industrialized world. The light bulb instead of a face shows that women were perceived as unthinking machines which do not question their position and can be turned on or off at any time at man’s will. But at the same time they were to remain attractive to satisfy men’s needs. The watch is viewed as the representation of how quickly women are to adapt to the changes. In a nutshell, Hoch concentrated on two opposite visions of the modern woman: the one from the television screens — smoking, working, wearing sexy clothes, voting and the real one who remained being a housewife. The beautiful girl’ is an example of the art within the DADA movement. An artistic and literal current began in 1916 as the reaction to World War I and spread throughout Northern America and Europe. Every single convention was challenged and bourgeois society was scandalized. The Dadaists stated that over-valuing conformity, classism and nationalism among modern cultures led to horrors of the World War I. In other words, they rejected logic and reason and turned to irrationality, chaos and nonsense. The first DADA international Fair was organized in Berlin in 1920 exposing a shocking discontentment with military and German nationalism (Dada. A five minute history). Hannah Hoch was introduced to the world of DADA by Raoul Hausman who together with Kurt Schwitters, Piet Mondrian and Hans Richter was one of the influential artists in the movement. Hoch became the only German woman who referred to DADA. She managed to follow the general Dadaist aesthetic, but at the same time she surely and steadily incorporated a feminist philosophy. Her aim was to submit female equality within the canvass of other DADA’s conceptions. Though Hannah Hoch officially was a member of the movement, she never became the true one, because men saw her only as ‘a charming and gifted amateur artist’ (Lavin). Hans Richter, an unofficial spokesperson shared his opinion about the only woman in their community in the following words: ‘the girl who produced sandwiches, beer and coffee on a limited budget’ forgetting that she was among the few members with stable income. In spite of the gender oppressions, Hannah’s desire to convey her idea was never weakened. Difficulties only strengthened her and made her an outstanding artist. A note with these return words was found among her possessions: ‘None of these men were satisfied with just an ordinary woman. But neither were they included to abandon the (conventional) male/masculine morality toward the woman. Enlightened by Freud, in protest against the older generation. . . they all desired this ‘New Woman’ and her groundbreaking will to freedom. But — they more or less brutally rejected the notion that they, too, had to adopt new attitudes. . . This led to these truly Strinbergian dramas that typified the private lives of these men’ (Maloney). Hoch’s technique was characterized by fusing male and female parts of the body or bodies of females from different epochs — a ‘traditional’ woman and ‘modern’, liberated and free of sexual stereotypes one. What’s more, combining male and female parts, the female ones were always more distinctive and vibrant, while the male ones took their place in the background. Hannah created unique works of art experimenting with paintings, collages, graphic and photography. Her women were made from bits and pieces from dolls, mannequins of brides or children as these members of the society were not considered as valuable. Today Hannah Hoch is most associated with her famous photomontage ‘Cut with the kitchen knife DADA through the last Weimer Beer-Belly Cultural epoch of Germany’ (1919–1920). This piece of art highlights social confusion during the era of Weimar Republic, oppositionists and government radicals (Grabner). In spite of never being truly accepted by the rest of her society, this woman with a quiet voice managed to speak out loud her feministic message. Looking at Hannah Hoch’s art for the first time I found it confusing, because couldn’t comprehend the meaning. It was quite obvious that every single piece and structure is a symbol of the era, its ideas and beliefs. However, after having learned about her life and constant endeavors to declare about female’s right, little by little I started to realize what’s what. As an object for research I chose ‘The beautiful girl’ as, to my mind, its theme and message intersects with the modern tendency: a successful, clever, beautiful and free woman has to become one in no time, cause the world is moving faster and faster. I enjoyed working with this artist as her example is inspiring and is worth following.

HI3 Yuri lives in the same dorm as the other valkyries, and has his own room (though I'm pretty sure everyone has their own rooms but whatever). He's a fast learner when it comes to language and strategizing, and very observant as well, but he still has a lot to learn with all his other studies. Especially writing.
He also has Mei-level cooking, and does help out with making meals. He's also sort of adopted the students as his lil sisters honestly. Though he isn't as nice to teachers like Himeko or Theresa.
After the chaos that was Herrscher Kiana, he leaves St Freya with Repede and goes solo for the most part. He doesn't ally himself with Anti-Entropy, but he does keep a close eye on them since the valkyries are there.

This find affected greatly on her artistic production, and she created mass-media photographs comprising the elements of photomontage and handwork patterns, thus combining traditional and modern culture. Her prior preoccupation was to represent the ‘new woman’ of the Weimar Republic with new social role and The Owners freedoms. Hoch was the only woman in Berlin Dada, who took part in all kinds of events and exhibitions showcasing her socially critical works of art. Till 1931 she participated in exhibitions but with the rise of National Social regime was forbidden to present her creative work. Till her last breath in 1978 Hannah Hoch lived and worked in the outskirts of Berlin-Heiligensee. The piece of art which is going to be analyzed in this research is ‘The beautiful girl’ designed in 1919–1920. It combines the elements of technology and females. In the middle of the picture one can clearly see a woman dressed in a modern bathing suit with a light bulb on her head which probably serves as a sun umbrella. In the background a large advertisement with a woman’s hair-do on top is presented. Maud Lavin describes strange human as ‘she is part human, part machine, part commodity’ (Lavin). The woman is surrounded by the images of industrialization as tires, gears, signals and BMW logos. A woman’s profile with the cat eyes, untrusting and skeptical, in the upper right corner is eye-catching as well. This unusually large eye symbolizes DADA movement — a monocle, which is present in almost every Hoch’s work. The colour scheme does not offer rich palette of tints, including mostly black, white, orange and red pieces. The photo is surrounded by the BMW circles which add the spots of blue. An apt description of the piece is The Owners in the book ‘Cut with the Kitchen Knife’ and states that it is ‘a portrait of a modern woman defined by signs of femininity, technology, media and advertising’ (Lavin). In other words Hannah Hoch focused on the woman of the new age, free and keeping up with the fast-moving world. The artist promoted feministic ideas and from her point of view urbanization and modern technologies were meant to give hope to woman to gain equality of genders. With this photomontage she commented on how the woman was expected to combine the role of a wife and mother with the role of a worker in the industrialized world. The light bulb instead of a face shows that women were perceived as unthinking machines which do not question their position and can be turned on or off at any time at man’s will. But at the same time they were to remain attractive to satisfy men’s needs. The watch is viewed as the representation of how quickly women are to adapt to the changes. In a nutshell, Hoch concentrated on two opposite visions of the modern woman: the one from the television screens — smoking, working, wearing sexy clothes, voting and the real one who remained being a housewife. The beautiful girl’ is an example of the art within the DADA movement. An artistic and literal current began in 1916 as the reaction to World War I and spread throughout Northern America and Europe. Every single convention was challenged and bourgeois society was scandalized. The Dadaists stated that over-valuing conformity, classism and nationalism among modern cultures led to horrors of the World War I. In other words, they rejected logic and reason and turned to irrationality, chaos and nonsense. The first DADA international Fair was organized in Berlin in 1920 exposing a shocking discontentment with military and German nationalism (Dada. A five minute history). Hannah Hoch was introduced to the world of DADA by Raoul Hausman who together with Kurt Schwitters, Piet Mondrian and Hans Richter was one of the influential artists in the movement. Hoch became the only German woman who referred to DADA. She managed to follow the general Dadaist aesthetic, but at the same time she surely and steadily incorporated a feminist philosophy. Her aim was to submit female equality within the canvass of other DADA’s conceptions. Though Hannah Hoch officially was a member of the movement, she never became the true one, because men saw her only as ‘a charming and gifted amateur artist’ (Lavin). Hans Richter, an unofficial spokesperson shared his opinion about the only woman in their community in the following words: ‘the girl who produced sandwiches, beer and coffee on a limited budget’ forgetting that she was among the few members with stable income. In spite of the gender oppressions, Hannah’s desire to convey her idea was never weakened. Difficulties only strengthened her and made her an outstanding artist. A note with these return words was found among her possessions: ‘None of these men were satisfied with just an ordinary woman. But neither were they included to abandon the (conventional) male/masculine morality toward the woman. Enlightened by Freud, in protest against the older generation. . . they all desired this ‘New Woman’ and her groundbreaking will to freedom. But — they more or less brutally rejected the notion that they, too, had to adopt new attitudes. . . This led to these truly Strinbergian dramas that typified the private lives of these men’ (Maloney). Hoch’s technique was characterized by fusing male and female parts of the body or bodies of females from different epochs — a ‘traditional’ woman and ‘modern’, liberated and free of sexual stereotypes one. What’s more, combining male and female parts, the female ones were always more distinctive and vibrant, while the male ones took their place in the background. Hannah created unique works of art experimenting with paintings, collages, graphic and photography. Her women were made from bits and pieces from dolls, mannequins of brides or children as these members of the society were not considered as valuable. Today Hannah Hoch is most associated with her famous photomontage ‘Cut with the kitchen knife DADA through the last Weimer Beer-Belly Cultural epoch of Germany’ (1919–1920). This piece of art highlights social confusion during the era of Weimar Republic, oppositionists and government radicals (Grabner). In spite of never being truly accepted by the rest of her society, this woman with a quiet voice managed to speak out loud her feministic message. Looking at Hannah Hoch’s art for the first time I found it confusing, because couldn’t comprehend the meaning. It was quite obvious that every single piece and structure is a symbol of the era, its ideas and beliefs. However, after having learned about her life and constant endeavors to declare about female’s right, little by little I started to realize what’s what. As an object for research I chose ‘The beautiful girl’ as, to my mind, its theme and message intersects with the modern tendency: a successful, clever, beautiful and free woman has to become one in no time, cause the world is moving faster and faster. I enjoyed working with this artist as her example is inspiring and is worth following.
