#spn #vid #mind the warnings on this one for real #woe! fruit of my rewatch be upon ye.#pallas calls this my 'deangirl coming out vid' which honestly. true. but those who paid attention know i've always been a deangirl.#also. after this no more deanwinchester rilo kiley amvs I Pwomise #anyway. i'm not gonna give a full commentary here but a big reason why i chose this song is that the narrator #is essentially dismissing her own problems and instead watching the problems of someone else #and i kind of wanted to play with that theme. this is the parallels show so let's do some parallels. lots of things happen to characters #that are Like Dean somehow. either in personality or circumstance. that we know or can infer happen to him. but we don't see it bc it's #not sayable. not speakable. so like for an easy one. we see meg being tortured in caged heat. she also talks about apprenticing under #alastair just like dean. so i show her being tortured [in a way that is sexualized and demon-specific] and reacting how she does #because i invite the audience to imagine or interpret that this has also happened to dean at some point. we just don't see it #so there are many dean parallels in this video. some obvious. some subtle but textual. some products of my twisted mind. but that's the way #i am using them to make my argument.#oh also: dean voice sam's eyes going black is JUST like when he used to fight with dad and wouldn't listen to me when i told him not to.#i guess also the point is that because it's unsayable. dean can't say it. dean can't even acknowledge it. and so it bleeds through #into everything in his life #that's why it's important that the song narrator doesn't take her own problems seriously. dean doesn't either.

feeling like epel felmier rn trying to unwillingly learn a dance in the name of friendship with zero experience in pop dance and a stiff, not good for dancing body as i suffer in the summer heat all because i am not shakira and these hips were not made for dancing i fear

i finished all stars 2 today and i got to say the one i was so excited to see was katya (because i love her) but seeing alyssa was so cool and knowing she is on GAS makes me so happy, i feel like she was the one who showed more growth from her previous season. in fact i found it crazy that phi phi was so mad at alyssa for voting ginger out, because she was so right in looking at people's performance during the competition and not only the weeks challenge (and you can see that the whole reason why alaska has her breakdown is because she's afraid of being judged based on the day and not her consistency throughout the season - like being so close and having one thing making you lose everything), she truly comes out as the most honest and sweet of the whole AS2 bunch and although I'm grateful for roxxxy's awful iconic line on read u wrote u i do wonder what would've happen if detox saved alyssa instead... (not that i think it would've changed top three but well)

#ramblings that no one cares #although im brazilian this global all stars is alyssas it HAS to be she deserves it!#if all stars had miss congeniality it would've been alyssa #btw as2 rocks and alaska was THE winner no questions #if for some reason they chose another of the girls it should have been detox because she was so consistent had good looks and all #although i do love katya i totally agree with what she said on the reunion i think she was still so fresh from season 7 but she did GREAT #and also looking at her drag now its amazing to see how much more polished it is #anyway great season and read u wrote u is like the best song that came out of the show #drag race #drag race all stars #alyssa edwards #katya zamolodchikova #all stars 2 #global all stars

It's time for a proper playlist for this fic, yeah?

You guys can't see (because i am still brewing over songs in a separate playlist) but I have been working on this since early November. Each song in this playlist coincides-- linearly-- with a chapter of my fic, Bolt in the Blue. (so, track 1 is chapter 1, and so on). Some chapters get 2 songs!
