The Rose

I don't know where he got it. We don't live by a flower garden. I was so confused at it, but I went along anyway. I didn't mind it. But a rose was a bit cliché. Of course, that wasn't the only weird thing that happened in my gorgeous makeover. He's been watching too many of my telenovellas.

I'm guessing he only did it for aesthetic purposes, nothing more.

Where Stella keeps going during levels

It dawned on me a solid 8 months late why Stella is never shown flying alongside Peach when she's transformed in Peach Showtime, despite her always flying alongside Peach otherwise.

As far as I can now tell, Stella seems to be merging into Peach during transformations. So it's seemingly not just for… show, so to speak, that she seems to fly into the chest(?) of Peach's temporary blue dresses at the start of transformations.

Whether Stella then talks to Peach through her clothes in whichever way, or if Stella has been merged into Peach's mind and head, remains ambiguous to me, however.

Peach seems to take the whole situation pretty calmly, seemingly not startled by someone else in her mind and/or soul talking to her fairly frequently.

(I can only presume this is how Bat-Rani in the Gail Carson Levine Disney Fairies trilogy also worked like, but "Fairy Haven & the Quest for the Wand" was so incomprehensible that it may as well have been Finnegan's Wake as far I am concerned.)
