11. Morning kisses that are exchanged before either person opens their eyes, kissing blindly until their lips meet in a blissful encounter.

He wakes up with a familiar pair of arms around him, and a familiar nagging thought in his head: he doesn't deserve you.

Toshinori groans, and buries his face into your chest, hoping your presence alone could silence the venomous thoughts in his head.

You deserved someone better, stronger, someone who wasn't so frail and useless. You were so beautiful, and so vibrant- what were you doing with a worn down husk like him?

He grits his teeth, squeezing you a little bit tighter, and keeping his eyes firmly shut. You loved him. That's what mattered. You didn't think he was worn down or useless.

That doesn't make it any less true.

A sleepy noise from you cuts through his internal dialogue. Shit, he must've woken you up with his broo-

Before he has time to beat himself up further, you press a sleepy kiss to his forehead. Then, his eyebrow, and then the bridge of his nose- you pepper several on his cheek. He's squirming now, his nose scrunched up, and he can't help the smile on his face.

You gently roll the two of you over, so you're on top of him, and finally kiss him softly on the mouth, your touch as loving and warm as the first rays of sunshine at dawn.

When you break apart, you give him a drowsy smile, and rest your forehead on his.

"Good morning, Toshi," you breath out, and how can he have room for self doubt and self loathing when you're looking at him like that? Like he's everything you've ever wanted?

He smiles back, his cheeks pink. "Good morning, my dear."
