After he lists off the things she’s done, she’s blushing, giving a bashful smile. “I suppose all of that is true, isn’t it? Although, you tend to have a knack for it too.” The girl grins. “You were the first Viking to ever befriend and ride not only a dragon, but a Night Fury. You single handedly stopped a generations long war between Vikings and dragons when you were what, 15? You’ve convinced dragon hunters and other enemies to befriend you, you made a suit to make yourself fly, you got a mermaid to fall in love with you just by being yourself, you defeated a sea witch, and now you’re the first human to visit the merfolk kingdom in the Aegean Sea. To name a few.” Melodia giggles, bumping him gently with her hip. “I’d say that makes us well matched, wouldn’t you, M’love?”

Her expression softens as he speaks. She can tell he means every word, too. The mermaid puts her forehead to his, holding him close. “I’m so glad that I get to share all of this with you.”

As she listed everything he's done, he grinned, raising his eyebrows at her. "We both know I couldn't have defeated Circe without your help. That's something we both did, together." He pulled her closer. "When you say it like that, yeah, I suppose we are!"
