It wasn't often that the Peaceful Tyranny had to stop for resupply. They always made sure stocks were full for at lease a quarter of a century before they'd have to find a mech-friendly planet.

This was one of those rare instances. The DJD treated it like a small vacation, spending a few days docked planet-side. It gave them all the opportunity to do as they pleased, pick up any personal things they needed. This was the last day they'd be here, off to travel deep space again to find their quarry.

Tarn sent a quick ping to his team that he would be returning to the ship for the evening, but wouldn't be leaving until morning, and that they were welcome to enjoy the nightlife of the planet until sunrise.

He returned to their flagship, entering through the ramp. He went to the bridge, ensuring fuel levels were adaquate enough to last while they traveled. Once he was satisfied, he retired to his office. The sound system in his office turned on at his will. Soft music filled the air, an old Tarnian hymn. He sat at his desk, picking up a datapad, starting his report to Megatron. This was his own form of relaxation, keeping reports and enjoying music.

The Queen dismisses her ladies as soon as Loki appears at her door, tentative in a way that she would once have never thought to see them. Since then they have sat in silence, more or less, with Loki on the edge of the bed closest to her as she sits at her vanity to finish preparing for bed.

It is so strange, to be in the same space as one another again and for it not to feel... Comfortable. Things are certainly better than they were when Loki was first brought to Vanaheim, and the fact that they have chosen to come to her rooms - to be in her company rather than sit alone with their thoughts - is proof enough of that fact. But there remains a distance between them which she still searches for ways to cross.

As she ties off her braid she catches their eye in the mirror, and what she sees in their gaze surprises her. For once the haunted cast seems to have lifted from their eyes, and in place of it she sees... Want, perhaps? She hesitates for just a moment before making a decision, picking up the brush and coil of linen yarn as she stands.

Sigyn walks across the room to sit behind them on the bed, not wishing to startle them. She knows that touch is still a difficult thing for them, but it feels important that she tries this. Careful hands lift to move Loki's hair so that it falls down their back, the inky curls far longer than she ever remembers seeing them before.

"Is this alright?" She asks quietly, waiting for an answer before she does anything else.

Tarn sauntered through the DJD's base on Messatine. Today was a good day. Pharma would be arriving any moment with his supply of transformation cogs. The one in his side was already overheating with each transformation sequence. He transformed a few times on his way to the main entrance. Tank, root, tank, and then back to root just as he made it to the door.

He entered the code on the panel to the left. There was a hiss of hydraulics and the door opened to the snowy, desolate landscape of the frozen planet. The icy chill of the air already made Tarn's joints ache. There was a fresh snowfall the night before, not enough to cover the door, but enough to cover the tracks of mechs going in and out of the base.

He decided that this time's hand off of transformation cogs would be different. He'd already set up what needed to be for this to go as perfect as he'd planned.

All that was left was Pharma's actions.
