who or what caught my attention i initially heard “wannabe” in a mashup actually!!! (i unironically LOVE kpop mashups lmao) so i went to check it out and i REALLY liked it! the instrumental immediately hooked me. the synths were sooo lush. oh man and then after the intro, the instrumental goes really sparse and then keeps BUILDING, it makes the chorus (WHICH HAS BRASS.. HEWWO... love brass in pop songs) feel really satisfying. the melody is also just sooo good and SOOO catchy without feeling overly repetitive. the one with the pink hair has a lovely vocal color! i also listened to “one (lucid dream)” when it came up on the k-pop daebak spotify playlist. i was totally digging the driving, funky bass guitar and the really lush synths. i went to rewatch the mv just now, and i just realized they’re woollim kids!!!! i used to be a huge inspirit back in the day so that was a lil bit of a pleasant surprise haha. i also LOVE “without you”

why i want to stan i am simply Too Old to be stanning new groups, but i definitely will try to keep up with their title tracks because they’ve got a solid discography going. i also really enjoy the group’s vocal color because of how well they complement each other.

first time i heard of them i’m a huge fan of almost all of sm’s artists, so i knew about them really early on when they were still sr14b or boys’ heaven. i remember being totallyyyy in love with bass bot.

when i became a fan since bass bot i guess HAHA but of official nct releases, definitely since 7th sense. i remember thinking it was such a weird song, but then after another listen i was like OH HELL YEA.

Oh i met block b after a concert once as well, and I met TaeIl in a club in gangnam somewhere my God he ‘s so cute in person and everyone calls him short but he ain’t that short. he was suckin on a lolli too i was like lol do you belong in a club. i had met him not too long before that along with MIB at a concert and he was like oh hello again and waved v cutely like he said in english ‘oh hello’ and waved i was like stop u cutie. park kyung remembers me a lot more than the other members tho and that’s how i became a kyung stan.
