being a Grown Up and having money causes such trials and tribulations (I desperately want a copy of Durrell's My Family and Other Animals and Doyle's collection of essays, but in this economy, these books are 25 CAD, and I simply cannot spend fifty dollars on books in one triumphant and self indulgent go)
