People are already recommending mods, but 1) I'm playing on PS5 so not helpful to me specifically and 2) this is less about me wanting to play a fat character and more just frustration that BG3, along with a ton of other games and avatar builders, draw the line at having fat bodies as a part of customization. EDIT: lots of people are explaining that having fat people in the game would be extra work, as if I couldn’t possibly comprehend that. Having thin people or tall people or short people in the game is also work, but that work is considered worth doing, and fat people are not considered to be worth including.

Gosh i love thier friendships and, while i get that the anime and the comics couldn’t show us much, man i WISH!

Mera and Saiko: they talk a lot of shit over food, Saiko thinks it’s a love language to provide so Provide he will, mera is happy but she is ready to knock down his better than thou attitude in a heartbeat,

Teruhashi and Kuboyasu: Kuboyasu just needs more people to watch these movies with him, please! And Teruhashi was listening! She was paying attention like all good perfect pretty girls do! Until she actually got interested and now they swap movie trades all the time, Teruhashi complains about the story turns and Kuboyasu on the special effects, lean into late nights where they throw popcorn at the TV and dramatically hush each other when their favorite part jumps on.

Saiko and Hairo: honestly? Therapy Session. Saiko goes on about Hairo’s inability to not help, and that it’s okay to say no, whereas Hairo goes on about Saiko’s inability to see past his father’s teachings. It’s okay to have friends and not worry about your future for awhile. They can be teens. All while Hairo benchpresses him cause why not get a little exercise in?

Chiyo and Nendou: i like to think they get together to surprise their friends with baked goods every once in awhile. Chiyo comes in with the hot gossip and Nendou drops in some unknown lore that he randomly picked up on a Tuesday afternoon cause no one thinks twice when saying shit around him. Gossip buddies with a flare for baking

Teruhashi and Nendou: honestly i think they’d have the hardest time to connect, but not for a lack of trying. They just have different ways of expressing love that connecting get’s hard. That is until Nendou offers up playing some games. They start off with competitive games, and whilst Teruhashi is of a higher payed income, gaming isn’t something she can do with Makato around so she’s woefully unprepared. She’s already competitive, throw in Nendou’s playful ribbing and you get the most action pact gaming sess. Don’t worry eventually they switch to Co-op to mess around together with.

Kuboyasu and Mera: i just think Kuboyasu trying so hard to convince his friends to take on motorcycles is very sweet. Of all the girls, Mera is the one to take it pretty fast. And since he wants to make sure they stay safe, he insists in full motorcycle gear. Lending Mera Saiki’s helmet until they get her one, she’s VERY excited about it.

And some mini Kaidou and Saiki doodles since i didn’t add em in. Besides, i wish they had more interactions together on just being first friends. I feel they would watch american shows together, and Saiki only agrees cause he can’t be spoiled.

How hardcore do you think GMMTV is willing to go with their shows? Because they've progressively been including more and more explicit sex. THK has taken me by surprise tbh. Fairly explicit sex and a BDSM scene(though admittedly deeply awkward and unwanted by Kant). Yet still closed mouth kissing, which I find interesting. Henchman peeked up from their work again for maybe the thousandth time so far- they couldn't keep themself focused on the paperwork on their desk with that view constantly at the side of the room!

Villain was laying prone across one of the couches in the room. They were usually meant for people waiting on Henchman for meetings and whatnot but about an hour ago Villain just sat down and got comfy, idly batting around a small pet toy in front of them.

Henchman couldn't take their eyes off- they'd barely completed half a page of the stack in front of them since Villain settled there.

They just looked so goddamn cute!! Their fluffy little cat ears flicking around playfully, their genuine enjoyment of and intent focus on the toy in front of them despite their typical seriousness, their generally adorable face looking so content right now-

"Do you need something, Henchman?"

They snapped out of their daydream at Villain's firm voice calling them out for losing focus, still just as stern and precise as ever despite their adorably tonally unfitting current activity.

"N-Not at all, Villain!" Henchman hastily lied, directing their attention back at their paperwork.

"Then don't lose focus."

Henchman looked down at their paper, trying their hardest to keep their attention on it... but god, they couldn't take their mind off Villain. They so badly wanted to just... pet them, feel that soft fur, hear lil sounds of contentment from them...

After about a minute of failing to keep their mind on anything but their adorable feline boss, they sighed and looked back up.

They weren't sure if asking this was a good idea, but they figured it was either this or disobey Villain by continuing to get nothing done, and they'd rather do absolutely anything than disobey Villain.

"V-Villain?"

They looked up from the toy again to see Henchman... blushing. They weren't sure why, but it was honestly kind of adorable to see. "Yes?"

"I'm, uh... well- uh, I'm getting a little too... d-distracted to focus? Can I take a small break-?"

They hastily whispered something after 'break' that Villain couldn't quite make out. They cocked their head to the side in a way that made Henchman melt just a little more.

"What was that last part, Henchman?"

"O-OH, uh, well, it- uh, well, y'know, it's like- well, I mean-"

"Shh." Villain interrupted, causing Henchman to stop instantly. "Take your time."

It flustered Henchman even more, but they kept it together enough to take a few deep breaths and gather their thoughts.

"Okay... I also- well, I didn't mean to, but-"

"Focus."

"U-Understood. I... asked if I could maybe... pet you a little, too...?"

Henchman was both blushing like mad and was nervous as all hell. It was such a stupid thing to ask, especially to someone this powerful, notorious, and rather amoral. They braced for the reacti-

"Eh, sure. I've got nothing better to do."

Henchman blinked a few times in surprise, processing that they were actually just granted permission before being completely overtaken by excitement.

"REALLY?" They squealed embarrassingly loud, still trying to be careful just in case.

"Ow- Quiet! But... yes." They grumbled back.

"Q-Quiet! Got it!!" Henchman stuttered out, quickly and eagerly going around their desk to the couch. They kneeled next to the couch to be directly next to Villain's head laying on it instead of awkwardly sitting next to their sprawled form.

They took another quick deep breath when they got there to steady themself- they didn't want to be TOO overzealous and make Villain regret their decision. Keeping themself calm for Villain's sake, they gently reached a hand out to brush it across Villain's head... and they let out a gasp, almost melting on the spot.

It was so, so much better than they could've imagined.

It was soft. Not just Villain's precious cat ears, but their beautiful hair entirely! Villain's ears even twitched and they let out a small, adorable sigh on contact!

What got to Henchman the most, though was the temperature.

It was so... warm. Villain was so warm.

Henchman couldn't remember the last time they felt anything like it.

They reached their hand slightly forward to scratch behind Villain's ears. The little sigh that escaped, the visible release of tension as Villain felt the scratch... Henchman had never seen anything so precious in their life, they couldn't get enough of it!

They moved their other hand up as well to pet Villain with both, who let out a typical catlike drawn-out, squeaky yawn in response that almost brought Henchman to tears.

Still maintaining contact, they slowly went from kneeling by the couch to sitting on top of it just next to Villain... who pulled themself forward to rest their head on Henchman's lap.

So much built up serotonin flooded through Henchman, they felt like they could've died on the spot, but they were more than content with that happening by now. The feeling of Villain on their lap, accepting their affection like this... the immense, wonderful sensation of warmth wasn't just physically. They felt so, so comfortable. Safe. Content.

Minutes passed as Henchman cherished every passing second they got to spend like this. They didn't realize how much they'd been wanting... any kind of comforting touch at all, let alone from Villain.

Villain didn't expect to like it... but here they were, relaxed in Henchman's lap, feeling their touch, hearing their precious, flustered, loving, grateful little noises and reactions... they could get used to this. It felt amazing to make Henchman so happy.

As minutes passed, Villain slowly began to doze off. From another small yawn to precious little mumbles to the tiny, slow breaths of sleep, it was impossibly easy to drift off in an environment this comfortable.

It didn't take long for Henchman to follow.

The most peaceful, restful night of either of their lives followed... and even better ones were soon to follow.

Neither had felt so safe before.

Hi anon, it's kinda Asian culture to share food in the sense that many dishes will be put on the table and the idea is each person can pick from each. Very rarely will each person get their own specific bowl or plate of food. Even when you order in restaurants, the assumption is kinda that you'll pick from each others plate so it doesn't surprise me to see the group sharing food or feeding each other. A lot of Asian meals are kinda 'ooh, have you tried this' and passing bowls around the table and trying to dodge chopsticks hovering in the air when you lean in to reach for something

What does stand out for me is that JK has made it clear he's generally kinda squeamish about sharing food directly (which tbf, most people are even in most cultures. Very few people want to eat food or drink stuff that has already touched the lips of others--funny side note; my mom would sometimes offer me meat she'd already bitten from because she found it particularly nice or tender and I'd get scolded for cringing away because she'd 'made the lips herself that I'd be eating it with'😅) but he seems to make a natural exception for Tae. We've literally seen him eating food that has dropped right out of Taes mouth, eating noodles that Tae has spit back into the pot, downing water that he's pretended to have a problem with because Tae drank from first. Like he has consistently made an exception for Tae to this personal rule or dislike he has that I can't find another explanation for it besides the fact that couples tend to be less squeamish or at least more familiar around each others bodily fluids in general (and I'm sure I don't have to explain why)

I mean, I'll share an ice cream cone directly with my boyfriend because at this point in our r/s, it seems silly to cringe away from sharing saliva with him (again I'm trying not to be too graphic because 1. Jimin has been topping it continuesly for years now. Even when he's so active with album, less active or completely ia. He was doing nothing public during end of last year, not even posting a pic on sm still he was topping reputation chart. The only times someone else topped him recently was 1) Jin during TA 2)JK during dreamers. Rest always, it's JM on top. Only BG chart- JM is on top, BG-GG chart - JM on top again. In SK it's NOT easy to surpass female idols and JM has been doing it continuously. Surpassing all IT girls of all generations.

Also I'm so surprised why JK is not in top 3/5 when he had his CK campaign came last month and made lot of waves.

TBF Theory: Human and Demons Have A Common Origin

The War of Fading Dusk happened 200 years before the start of Thunderbolt Fantasy, but it overshadows everything that happens in the present. The reason so many magic swords exist is so humanity could fight the demons invading their world. They succeeded, but at a cost--the country of Wan Yu was separated by a vast wasteland full of monsters and divided into Xi You and Dong Li, with no interactions until Shang Bu Huan hacked his way through.

We don't know why exactly the demons invaded, or why exactly they stopped, only that it was a unilateral decision from the Demon King to order a retreat and forbid contact with the human world. The exceptions are holdouts like Xing Hai, Zhao Jun Lin, and Azibelpher who said "fuck that" and kept on doing their thing for various reasons of their own. But given all of the established themes, I'm going to hazard a guess that a major twist in S4 will be the reveal that humans and demons have a common origin, and/or the human world and demon world were originally one and the same, just like Xi You and Dong Li were once one nation.

Humans and demons are different, but they're not that different--while demons come in a wide variety of shapes, at least some of them are humanoid, and we know the two races can interbreed with each other. In real life, that usually implies some degree of relation or common ancestor, but this is a fantasy world where magic exists, so all bets are off. Nevertheless, Lang Wu Yao's existence demonstrates that it is in fact possible for humans and demons to produce viable offspring, so I wouldn't be surprised to learn that they aren't as different from each other as we've been led to believe.

And I think Azibelpher knows this, because why else would he fuck around with Ling Mo Yan in the first place, and why is he so interested in his son? Why did he defy the demon king's orders and interact with the human world--sure, it was for the lulz, but I doubt that's the only reason. We may not know the full extent of his plans, but Azibelpher has an agenda, and unfortunately for poor Lang, he's right in the middle of it. (Like every Urobuchi villain, Azibelpher has an obsession with fate, destiny, and chessmastery; he may or may not be winging it, but he's got something particular in mind.)

This would also explain something that's puzzled me about S3 on rewatch, which is to say that it sure seems like Azibelpher deliberately sends Shang Bu Huan back in time to the Wars of Fading Dusk to meet Bai Lian and learn the secret behind the magic swords: they were either ordinary swords carried over from another world that gained unexpected abilities as a result of the transfer, OR were forged specifically for that purpose in a location that transferred from another world (Bai Lian's estate). They weren't divine gifts from the gods, they were just one poor confused guy from another world making the best of a bad situation. You know, the sort of thing anybody would do in that position.

(But why does Azibelpher want Shang to know this? What purpose does it serve? And it can't possibly be a coincidence, not when Juan Can Yun, who was right there when Azibelpher interrupted the three of them, gets left behind. What is he planning?? TBD.)

Given the theme of duality as well as the theme that things that are of both worlds have special powers, it's not hard to imagine this information being used in some fashion in future installments. There's already a few hints of it--the "blade whose existence is beyond reality" that Huo Shi Ming Huang claims is the only thing that can kill him, and there's Lang himself, a child of both worlds--and probably more we don't yet know about. Certainly, the trailer and promotional materials for S4 seem to imply that Lang's voice is somehow the key to everything.

Perhaps once upon a time, humans and demons and/or their worlds were the same, and perhaps there are those who would like to see that again, even as there are plenty who would prefer to keep them separate. (Can you imagine Xing Hai's reaction when she finds out??) If that's not as least some of the politicking going on in the demon world in S4, I'll be shocked.

Just as I think Xi You and Dong Li will be reunited before the end, I think the same will be true on a much larger scale for humans and demons as well, though whether that means a literal merger or a metaphorical one is not yet clear.

Hi! What are your thoughts on season 2 of bbbglxy so far?

Currently, I'm writing about Boboiboy's appreciation post but your question instantly made me, "Wait, should I review the second season or wait until all arcs are animated?"

But then I figured if I waited until next year, I already forgot about your question. So I answered now.

Tbf, I wanted to wait for all arcs animated then read the comic, but I reaaaallly curious and adore the art style so much. Usually, Monsta releases comics as an extension after tv/movie aired. However, due to the pandemic, they release the comic first. Even they initially went all comic and no animation. Glad they managed to release per arc in season 2. Eventually, I continued to read about it after watching 3 episodes of Sori.

Okay on to the story!

It's well known that the Comic version was more ruthless than tv/movie ones. There's one tweet mentioned compare this scene below(it's also one of the reasons why I want to read the comics ver.)

So it's not surprising that Season 2 comic book went on the same route. That's also one of my shopping lists when I visit to Malaysia(the shipping cost is higher in Indonesia btw :/)

This session will be from my perspective. So this paragraph onwards is purely my opinion.

So my take on this season is ... I am so glad they delve deeper than I thought. AND ended beautifully back their original roots: become the earth's protector once again! (and take care of Tok Aba but I'm not ready for that :'( )

If Season 1 is about the responsibility of being the heroes of galaxy, therefore, Season 2 is about the cost and risk of them.

I love the Kokotiam gang's character journey throughout the arc. Holy shit the conflict on each planet was wild for sure! the intensity, the humor, and the revelation are well-balanced. All the new characters are memorable enough that I can see why people were angry when Sori cut most of them from the early issues. (Manifesting they wouldn't do that for Windara's arc :) )

I'd say I am satisfied with all the action and story of Kokotiam gang's arc!

For elementals, I WILL rant more about this in the next topic. Holy-my head is full of theories and shit, I want to explode myself.

If I choose some takeaways from this season, It's the fusion part. Don't get me wrong, I love the design, the animation, and their attacks, and is the last option when Boboiboy couldn't use his 3rd tier (my personal favorites are Glacier and Supra). I've mentioned it briefly in my previous post.

But when they add personal traits? hooo boy, I...got issues with that.

I don't want them getting too dominant when there are already seven elementals with distinct personalities and upgrades(and their fanbases) other than Boboiboy's original trait. And now there's 5 fusion elementals???

But then, it is what it is... I can't blame them. Their original concept of the Galaxy series was weirder than this but I hope this fusion comes with more cost to Boboiboy's mental health(bro, he's a freaking human being, not superman >:/). His amnesia got worse and I don't think fusion will making him better ^^)'

The end of a fun weekend!! I have things to discuss and unpack but first, a recap:

Had a movie night with my island-friend and her partner a few nights ago which was truly truly fun, I feel so comfortable around the two of them <333

Went to see a play with my island-friend and, uhh, the-girl-who-invited-me-to-play-dnd-w-her-crew-who-will-need-a-nickname-sometime-soon (unfortunately dnd-friend is taken lolll) and it was really good, incredibly funny, and both of my companions enjoyed it as well (which is what I was most worried about because I'm the kind of person who will just go see whatever basically, but not everyone has my risk tolerance when it comes to performing arts (and I mean tbf it's not like I can even claim that mine is that high, it's just probably higher than average)).

Later that same evening I went out to go party with my island-friend and her partner as a sort of end-of-semester let-loose situation (even though my island-friend still had an academic meeting left and I still had a final coming up). We pregamed, chatted for a while (those two can chat that's for sure (but it's always always always good conversation)), then went to the party. My turquoise-friend (who was supremely surprised at my presence) and one of her friends who I know was also there, so even though the theme was a bit, well, outside of my typical wheelhouse, I still felt safe and relatively comfortable with them around to just kind of move and groove haha. The DJing was quite good, pretty much everyone (except me lol bc I didn't know what the theme was until the day-of) was dressed impeccably on theme (though I was wearing the square-neck prototype I made and it worked quite well!!), and it was generally just a fun house party (though I cannot stress enough that I was dreadfully out of place theme-wise). I had two drinks across the entire, oh, five hour night (we "only" stayed at the party for four hours though (it was meant to last eight (I heard from someone who heard from someone else that the cops were called a bit after I'd left))), which was plenty when I was unfamiliar with the crowd there, and the crowd itself was pretty intense. But! A fun night! Probably the most fun I've had on a night out since I've been here (though I can count on one hand I think the number of nights out I've had). I will come back to this though.

Then today was a cookie swap hosted by the girl I met sewing at the library several weeks back!! I met a bunch of her friends and we colored for hours and just chatted and they were all really nice :)

So yes, a good weekend! Still technically need to prep a bit more for my open-note final though..

Okay now time for rambles. I wanted to unpack a little why I specifically feel/felt so uncomfortable at being the object of a man's attention at the party? Because there were two times in particular where I shied away (and also notable examples where I did not!) and they confused me in the moment, even while buzzed. I think it has to do with the party's theme being pretty explicitly.. well, explicit, and feeling unsafe at the prospect of even potentially indicating to a guy (even one I was attracted to ohhhh my god) that I wanted to engage further. And also, I think, purity culture's "men only want one thing from you" mentality which I've internalized and can't seem to shake. And the fear that I wouldn't know how to stop something that I wasn't comfortable with. But, on the flip side, I felt safe with the people I was with. Though, while I probably could've trusted them to intervene had it been necessary, I don't want to seem like a chore to monitor when I go out with them? I dunno. Because the two/three instances where I did not shy away from engaging with some guy was when they had already been engaging with one of my friends (and I wasn't attracted to them).

Maybe there's a conclusion to be drawn there and maybe I'm just too tired to make it. Eh, my future self can make sense of this sometime down the line.

Today I'm thankful for a good weekend!!!

New Captain America movie coming out in February... I really need to get caught up on my mcu bc I think Sam Wilson is one of few characters left who I really care about.

i started making a fic once where aramis holds his baby and thinks like 'well i did one treason how worse could it be if i stole this baby away', and he thinking about he could put another baby in its place and then i thought WELL WHY NOT

Porthos waiting on a horse to spirit the baby away (just have the image of him waiting in the dark. He takes the baby cus like i s2 final where he rides off alone to be heroic)

Aramis having a moment to talk to Q.A (quee ann) before the baby is born and saying it as a joke and they both just look at each other

the other musketrs being like 'u decided what now with Q.A?!'

where they gonna get a baby?! well. Porthos can be like 'i know a guy'. I'm sure Flea could find them a baby needing a nice home.

Aramis being like '...and then i will slide the baby in' and Constance being like 'uh huh mm hhmm. WHILE THE QUEEN IS HAVING THE OTHER BABY?!? HM?!? u gonna GO IN THERE WHILE SHE PUSHES A WHOLE HUMAN OUT OF HER?!'

aramis after constance rant, as if there been no interuption 'and then constance will swap them' and constance being like THAT IS WHAT i THOUGHT

I mean the baby is already not king of france so who cares?! it could be ANY baby. Who says this ISNT what hapened?

anyway one of the big reasons i think this is hilarious is we already know there's a safe place for accidental french not-quite-heirs cus that's where Agnes and Henry went.

Aramis and Agnes and king of france (but louis did it instead) and the king of france (but random baby from court of miracles did it instead).

aramis giving in his commission; 'GONNA GO UH.... JOIN A MONESTARY. THATS IT. THATS RIGHT. THAT'S WHERE IM GOING'.

imagine in s3 if he was in that monestary and the others staring around at the hundred of babies aramis is sherpherding about like 'is it that one... is it that one... is it that one' (I know this is diff to the living in bliss with agnes plus king 1 and king 2 like the cat in the hat. but whatever. Did i say it all has to cohere?!?! HUH!?!)

it is actually surprising to me hwo much i could just... slide this into canon. That's really funny. Aramis coming back to paris with a couple of refugee babies and beingn like 'and this one I'm keeping FOR NO REASON he gonna live with me. um. better. really. nenver ever go to the palace. eek'

It would be fun reversal. Q.A sneaking into the garrison to see her baby. aramis being like 'you so really absolutely totally cannot be here' standing at the end of a corridor full of men used to living in barracks like not entirely dressed and sort of being awful all like O_O O_O O_O like those picures where the light in rats eyes.

Q.A being like 'and now this is aramis he is coming to court to be honoured and the king has decided in his generosity that aramis's baby is coming also and oops louis jr just happened to meet him oh look at that oh dear i tripped over and my two babies are friends what a big oopsie daisy no aramis i didn't do anything at all'

Q.A loves BOTH her babies. for the record. baby number 2 is GONNA BE LOVED.

I think porthos watching the king dote on miracle court baby would be fun. Porthos "shall we show him what being poor in paris is really like" du Vallon.

the rest of the show can be p much the same. tbf i only watched bits of s3 and skipped a lot of the more plotty stuff so i dont actually know this. the version I watched could fit this change easy and who cares what other ppl watched.

You are so right, Anon. Jade isn’t a gaslighter. He would never lie or gaslight, in fact, he is the most honest boy of the cast. Just look at his genuine face. Such a smoochable face of a nice guy…

In all seriousness, I am not really sure how to respond to be honest… unless I am missing some very crucial character information? And even if I did, this is a hc post about how bad these boys get, why is it a bad thing that I called him a gaslighter? No offence, Anon; our interpretation of a character could be very much different, and I know that we are more into the “worst” side of both of the tweels that some other people, but those are our headcanons and you don’t have to agree with them. We all have our own reasons for feeling a certain way and interacting with characters a certain way, so I can only speak for ourselves. 🤷

But… what does Rook have to do with any of it? He is problematic in his own way, and we talk about it constantly: this is one of the reasons we love him so much. Just like how we love Jade for being a menace.

I feel bad for fem!Vargas. I have G(?)-cup breasts, and I find sports bras to be super hard to find. In a normal bra, I need to use my arm for support if going up and down the stairs or I jiggle, and even with a sports bra, jumping isn't a great idea. Additionally, the sports bras tend to chafe, and when you take them off it is noticeably easier to breathe. I thankfully don't get back pains, but I still feel like I would be better off with smaller breasts. TBF, I don't get why so many people want large breasts: they are a huge pain.

Yeah, the more I try to figure out how bras work, the more I realise that there are a lot of factors that make them suitable/unsuitable depending on a person... and that big breasts lead to a lot of problems and uncomfortable aspects, so I'm sorry that you have to go through all that, Anon :(

Ironically, maybe having to deal with such a pain would make fem!Vargas' perspective on life a bit different from the original Vargas.
