Trevor was looking at his husband then noticed the naughty smile on his lips. He did blush heavily seeing the suction device in his hands. "..I would if your up for it." He smirked seeing how precious he was.

Graceless as always, but just quick enough, Trevor flops on the Dhampir, arms draped with his capes edges as he bundles them both with a snort.

Nose violently twitching was always the first sign that he'd caught a familiar enough scent, though the usual irritation that once lingered within catching the smell of a Belmont had long since faded many moons ago; Not to say that he wasn't annoyed with Trevor interrupting his brooding time though, especially not since he didn't even get the chance to dodge the sudden entanglement he'd found himself in, Alucard wasn't particularly keen on feeling trapped, not since the last time resulted in severe scarring that he still dreamt of with terror and wrath. Instinct overtook the blonde's logic and were it not for Trevor's larger frame wrapped tightly around his own, Adrian isn't sure where his fangs would have burrowed themselves into.

Although he's irate, his brain manages to buffer back into himself, who he is rather than what he was and the angry, threatened hissing slowly silences into a low growl before falling completely silent, instead finding himself pressing further into the familiar warmth much the same as a cat carving its place within its owner's side. Warm, soothing, comfortable and pleasant even if the Belmont stinks of something only vampire hunters were capable of. Such a whirlwind of emotions surely wasn't healthy for anyone, dhampir or not, to experience and yet Alucard found himself not minding one bit. “ Next time give me a warning, I almost ripped you to shreds. ”

The Belmont had said nothing for a while. Toned arms folded across his chest as he looked away from the bunny woman, cobalts focused upon something else for the time being. Though, he couldn't necessarily say she was wrong; he had done what he could do - everything that could be done. It honestly irked him that nothing more could be done and that was why he was in such a sour mood. "....S'ppose you're right."

Somewhere before 1476: Mathias meets Lisa with who he falls in love, to the point it momentarily brings his humanity back. Bottom. Lisa dies and he gets angry, change his name into Dracula, and plot revenge against mankind this time, like he did against God so many years ago. Bratty.

Year 1476: His behavior leads Hector to betray him. He gets hurt and even more angry (even before being 100% sure it's a betrayal), sending Isaac after him, ordering him to bring him back if he is alive so he can basically torture him because he just can't bear being betrayed. Bratty but also Bottom because he seemed to care a big lot about Hector. Like. A big big lot. 🙂 Trevor and friends arrive and kick his ass, so he curse the land in return. Bratty.

Year 1479: He comes back to life and immediately goes "Hector! Why did you betray me ? ):< Humans suck and you should know it already. ):<". Then he gets defeated again and goes "I don't care my curse wille still destroy the stupid humans ):<". Then Hector goes "Nuh-huh! I can reverse it!", and he proceeds to die in a scream. Bratty Bottom.

Year 1576 to 1591: He comes back to life again wich is already very bratty of him. Fights Christopher a first time, makes him believe he died when not really, waits for the perfect moment to strike again, then years later, kidnaps his son. He then proceed to make father and son fight against each other. Bratty. And also Bottom because I bet he wanted to become Soleil's second dad.

Year 1691 to 1698: Comes back to life, sees Simon wich would turn any man into a bottom, and not only does he cast a curse on the land AGAIN upon being defeated, but he curses Simon, SPECIFICALLY, as well. What a brat. Then Simon accidentally brought him back again and killed him again. Bottom.

Year 1748: Bro did not even actually resurrect and he still managed to be an ass a menace through his wraith. Bratty. He then talks about drinking Juste's blood to make himself "whole again", literally saying he needs to fill himself with a Belmont('s life) to live, like bro. Bottom. 😏

Year 1792: "Blablabla it's not MY fault I came back to life, it's the HUMANS' " How can you be brattier and bottomer than by having a whole philosophical conversation with your sworn ennemy about how you have no control over your resurrections it's just that people are asses. 🙄 (Dracula even has Richter dolls all around his castle for Marie to collect like bro just marry the clan already)

Year 1797: He starts as bratty as usual but then Alucard reminds him of the bottomness Lisa woke up in him, and he calms down. Less Bratty as he dies with regrets, but still very Bottom of him.

19th century: He comes back to life more corrupted than ever. Proceeds to flirt with Shanoa, then underestimate and kinda mock her, only for her to defeat him with his own power. The balance between Brattiness and Bottomness has been corrupted as well in favor of the Brattiness, but his inner Bottom is never too far.

Year 1897: Comes back to life. Gets killed by Quich Morris, but mortally wounds him as well. Bratty Bottom.

Year 1917: You have to be the biggest of Brats if it takes a whole world war to resurrect you. And yet, a big Bottom if it doesn't even prevent you from immediately getting killed again lol.

Year 1944: Came back to life not at full power. Fought alongside his eternal hubby, even fusing with him (so fighting with Death inside him 😏), and still lost to two kids. Got killed by the sun, after musing that he will regain his full power one day and that they'll see who will have the last laugh. Bratty Bottom.

Year 1999: Julius topped that man so hard he never recovered from it again. The end of the Bratty Bottom millenia-long terror.

It took Death using books about how much of a Bratty Bottom his dead husband has been to bring him back again in GoS. So, of course, he was still a Brat who wanted to play with his ennemies by fighting them, and a Bottom who let Death penetrate fuse with him to use his powers like they did back in 1944.

So, to answer your question... yes. Dracula is a Bratty Bottom. Always has been. I'd say that his whole job is to be a pain in the ass of everyone, but he's too much of a Bottom for that. 🤭

In truth he'd known it wasn't right to lash out upon Trevor the way he was, knew the brunette simply wished to amend the misunderstanding; Hardly a misunderstanding, merely looking for a reason to continue to bottle things up actually, he bitterly reminds himself and yet the moment he'd found himself allowing his wrath, the pain Adrian had forced to burrow deep within his body for so long, it became difficult to quit.

Were his mother still among the living she'd be ashamed of the man her son has become.

Simply put, the closer he'd come to finally sharing just what had occurred in the absence of his companions the more terrified the blonde grew; Fear wasn't something the dhampir had grown all too familiar nor comfortable with after all even despite all the hardships he'd persevered through and yet the idea that he'd be looked upon with pity or even disgust left a bitter flavor upon his tongue, tingling within his fangs with a shame so deeply rooted he couldn't even fathom sharing his tale.

However the metaphorical cat was already rearing its head from the bag, ready to pounce and destroy his carefully crafted façade of being okay albeit perhaps more skittish from a lack of socializing.

How he yearned to be apathetic, truly aloof even as gold eyes lower away from piercing blue ones and attempt to avoid the harsh, questioning gaze of one of the only people he'd ever truly felt safe with, understood by to some extent even. It seemed that stupidity must run within the Tepes bloodline, an inherent need to isolate until the solitude turns into nothing but wrathful sorrow and a desperate need to dig oneself from the hole they'd dug themselves into.

In truth, he'd wanted to share his tale, tell Trevor everything that ailed him and perhaps even weep for once, guilt free and not sat upon a sorrowful throne built upon the deaths of his family, fall victim to the lunacy caused by the bone chilling loneliness of sitting within the remnants of his family home.

In truth, that's what hurt the most; to be left to his own devices and returned to as though the blonde hadn't been forced to grieve his father completely alone, hadn't feared becoming just like the man he'd had to stake.

“ I'm certain your life would be much easier, more enjoyable if you didn't. Why would you or Sypha wish to have a shadow looming behind you, looking for an excuse to bicker and speak with enough venom that he might very well die should he keep his tongue bitten? Worrying over whether or not I'll end up like my father or God forbid somehow worse-- ”

He pauses, shoulders slumping as though he'd given up any fight he'd had left, eased away all of his wrath and in turn fell right back into sorrow upon realizing just how much he'd been projecting himself upon those he cared for. It seemed lately Adrian has gotten far too good at that, assuming the worst of others and yet he can't help but to, a means of protecting himself he'd suppose.

“ What happened, Trevor, is my dignity was ripped from me in mere hours, my hopes and faith within humanity shredded just as quickly as they had formed. I was taught a valuable lesson that I should have learned years ago; To trust others and open oneself to them only exposes you to danger, like a deer stumbling upon a wolves den with no hope to escape and yet I managed to fumble my way free through the skin of my teeth. You want to know what the hell happened then there you go, I feel weak, pathetic and small and I don't know how to fix it and that's why I sought you out because you're strong, you're confident even when your plans are utterly idiotic and I want to understand how-! ”

Lips curl into a snarl, a pathetic sound rumbling through the blonde's petite frame as shame quickly overcomes his being.

“ How when you've been left so utterly helpless and yet still bounce back no matter what sort of shit show is thrown towards you, I admire that about you and I want to understand how you manage it with so much ease, so much grace despite the fact that nothing about you is graceful. ”

Relief was what he'd expected to overcome his body the moment he'd finally shared, no matter how vague and yet all Adrian experiences is shame, hot and heavy settling deep within the pits of his belly as though trying to rip its way from his body. For a second he wants to beg Trevor to stare upon him with disgust, hatred even, and yet he knows damn well the worst he'll get is pity, perhaps even understanding.

It was ridiculous to think Trevor wouldn’t grow tired of his petty antics, his childish fit of rage that should have been enough to simply get the Belmont to punch him and leave, and yet he didn’t.

Red gleams over the usually bright ambers behind his gaze, the overwhelming urge to shrink away and never be seen again growing far more appealing because he hated the feeling of being stared at, hated knowing that there’s a very high likelihood that Trevor was observing him to figure out what was wrong and the slightest wrong move would give away everything he’d tried to hide away, tried to bottle up. Adrian felt stupid, of course he wasn’t ready to seek help and especially not Trevor’s help, no matter how much he assumed the hunter would understand.

Eyes dart about, trying to establish a good means of escape before realizing he’d essentially backed himself into a corner. Perhaps it was his subconscious telling him it was time to end this childish game of keeping secrets that only hurt him the longer they stayed in the closet. The bottle was cracking and damn near ready to shatter and send shards through every part of his being and now had to be the time. He didn’t want that though, to be happy and secure, to feel safe in his own home, a sick voice in his head always told him that was something a creature such as Adrian didn’t deserve and in a sense, it was right.

Despite the fancy sword work and the elegance he carried himself with; Alucard was just as delicate as the petals of a wilted rose, enough so to the point that he can only bare his fangs at Trevor in warning, a silent plead to leave him be because instinct was slowly taking over and he was beginning to fear the man who, in a way, saved him from more torment. No matter how much he knew Trevor to be safe, to be trustworthy, the pit was still there and the fear that another incident would happen was enough to make him far more cautious around those he cherished most.

Adrian felt disgusting, like a vile creature meant to be slayed at the hands of Trevor or perhaps even Sypha. He was still a vampire after all and with his fangs, he was never going to truly fit in among humans.

’Just like all the others.’

“Sure you can, it’s easy to forget things once they’re no longer around you.” Bitter, rage filled in a way that’s definitely targeted because God knew Alucard always spoke with purpose, with some sort of meaning no matter how vague it was. “There’s no point teaching an old dog new tricks, Belmont. You, nor Sypha could ever understand and it was stupid of me to think I could come to either of you. Don’t worry too much about it eating at you, I won’t be bothering you with my qualms, not anymore.”

Under quite literally any other circumstances, Adrian would applaud the sudden intent Trevor held, would congratulate him and express just how proud he was of the hunter for wanting to make a change; However this was about Alucard, about his tantrum and about how he’d overspoken like a fool, like his foolish father.

“No, perhaps you two will find normalcy again, but everything has been stripped from me Belmont; My family, my friends, my dignity and safety, the very moment I get it all back, then what happens? It’s stripped away again because everything I love bloody leaves me, tries to kill me, or dies!”

He was at a true loss for how to respond.

He wanted to help - to soothe things over for once and face them head on. He knew nothing could properly change or get better as they were now, and more than anything, he wanted to bury things and move on. But in that same vein, he know all too well it was far from an easy task to accomplish.

Memories clung to one like thick tar, dirtied mud that left things hazy and unfocused save for a few spots lacking in grime. What was seen on the other end could vary between something wondrous or something truly horrific. And… in the stubborn Dhampir’s case, he could only guess it was the latter - more specifically, something related to everything they’d gone through so far. The worst part - is for all the hostility and aggression kindling in the air, he got the distinct feeling it was purely defensive.

That Alucard had been lashing out like a wounded and cornered animal.

While his own irritation bubbled just beneath the surface of his skin, threatening to snap should he be pushed any further, a thin line of restraint that surprised even himself emerged, keeping him firmly in check and aware as he stayed in place, simply balling his fists together tighter in his silent stewing. To move in any other fashion felt like he’d shatter the moment, and bring forth a flood of emotions he didn’t quite know if he was capable of handling.

There’s a flicker of crimson that catches his sights, overtaking the familiar gold in a tell-tale sign of rising anger, and with a slight narrow of his own, he stands his ground in stubborn determination.

Lips press together tight, observant yet sympathetic stare held firmly as he holds his tongue. Even when Alucard lashes out more, sharp words as pointed and ready to strike as the blade he fought so skillfully with. It’s spat with such bitterness, Trevor feels that thin single strand of patience begin to fray.

The urge to defend himself rears it’s head, and his own bitterness begins to tinge his thoughts. Belmont. Not Trevor - Belmont. He’d been reduced back to his family name, a title, something so formal and impersonal it left something so wrong feeling to churn at his stomach.

“There’s no point? Is that it? How can we even begin to understand if you won’t even try? Don’t you dare assume I’m not going to worry - that you’re ‘bothering’ me by coming to me. I’m going to worry regardless because it’s affecting you - pretending everything is okay when it’s clearly not is going to blow up in your face you bloody idiot.”

With a hiss of frustration, it snaps and he can’t resist the urge to show his own fatigue at the conversation and the turn it’d taken. A hand combs through his hair in an effort to self soothe, and with a sharp glare directed back upwards, inhaling sharply and holding it for another stray beat, he continues.

“Regardless of whether or not we find normal? What we went through will stick with us until we die. Nothing will ever be normal for us again, no matter how much we try to pretend and search. But sitting around wallowing in grief - it’s not going to help. What in the hell happened, Alucard?”

Maybe it’s not the best idea to demand answers, but he knows damn well that something more went on. Something important. If he needs to be antagonized to get him to finally spill his guts - so be it. He’d push as much as he had to. It felt too serious a thing to just ‘forget’.
