The Far Roofs: the Magician
Hi!
Today I’m going to talk a little bit more about my forthcoming RPG, the Far Roofs. More specifically, I want to talk about one of the characters for the bundled campaign: the Magician.
So the characters for the Far Roofs campaign are, loosely speaking, about halfway between pre-generated characters and classes.
Pretty close to playbooks, I think; close enough for the Powered by the Apocalypse and Forged in the Dark stuff I've read to have influenced some of the details ... but, ultimately, they're coming out of a different stream of development. They just aren't quite the same.
Nor are they really pregens, or classes.
They are just ... what they are.
One of them, for instance, is the Magician.
If you play the Magician, what you're saying is, when you were young, you had a brush with a Mystery---one of those roof-haunting divine monsters I've talked about. It was traumatic, and you tried to forget, but now you've just come back from away (changing jobs, finishing a major project, finishing school, whatever) and you're learning your childhood nightmares were real.
The rest of who you are? What you're dealing with?
Well, that'll be up to you.
The Magician comes with some pregen stats, that you can rearrange if you want to. It comes with access to two "powersets," and you can choose four powers from them starting out.
(There's a set of four that the game recommends that are subtle enough that you can tell yourself you're just a regular person. If you want. For a while.
... that'll be up to you too.)
Most of all, what being the Magician gives you is four character-specific stories, of which the first is Coming Back:
Coming Back "You’ve been away, working on an exhausting project or studying abroad or something. Now you’re back … and getting dragged into the affairs of rats and Mysteries. You try to work out how you fit in."
To get you started on that story, the game gives you three things you'll want to answer or define by building words out of letter draws over the course of ... well, probably, a large number of sessions. In sum:
how can I possibly hold myself together through this?
do I even believe the Far Roofs are real?
[your relationship with the rats]
It also gives you a "quest," a place to start on all this, which basically boils down to
a premise: "you need to figure out how to live with this damage"
a few tools to draw bonus letters, and
the extra question: "can I really face the far roofs again?"
You'll finish that up, and at least make a start on figuring out what to do here, after which you can move on to a second, third, fourth, or even fifth quest if you're not done figuring out the three big story-based challenges yet.
When you're done, after you answer those questions and however many you needed for quests ... there's another three stories. All the while, there's some bigger-picture group stuff that's going on too.
In practice, I do think these stories will take a long time. It is possible to speedrun the stories in this game, to blur through the campaign in like twenty hours of play .. but it'll be about as weird as any other speedrun.
If you're not doing that, I figure it'll be a couple of sessions, maybe even 4+, before you even answer one of those questions.
You'll draw maybe five letters in a session, and use some of them on the group story or subplots, and all the while you're developing your understanding of the proper answers while you shuffle the letters around.
Like, let's walk through one way it might go.
Maybe you draw NA in the first, slowest session. You could treat that as an N/A answer to something, but let's say you're not really into that. Like, burning through the questions fast doesn't help you, any more than it does in real life:
You want something that means something, that helps you crystallize how your character addresses that question.
That might wind up being N/A, but probably not in the first session or two! Not until and unless it feels right.
So let's say session 2 gives you ... NPLG. And now you can decide that you're a PAL of the rats and that's one question down ... but again, that only really works if you are or you want to be, right?
It's s a very specific choice, PAL. It's not for most, really.
It might not be for you.
More likely, I figure, you just ... have NANPLG there ... and none of that answers your questions at all.
Session 3. EEGEN. NANPLGEEGEN.
So you look between that and your questions. Between that and the four major challenges you have to address:
how can I possibly hold myself together through this?
do I even believe the Far Roofs are real?
[your relationship with the rats]
can I really face the Far Roofs again?
And, maybe ... PLAN?
PLAN isn't bad for the first answer. I guess it was already there back in session 2, but I didn't see it until now. Maybe you didn't either. It's not bad, either way. At least, not for my version of the Magician; yours might, of course, differ a lot.
What else can we find in those letters?
GLEEP ... is ... not helpful.
LENGE ... isn't even a word!
(Update! On review, it turns out it is a word in Hungarian, and there's also a song, so like if you know the song or Hungarian you might get something out of it.
... but typical Magicians probably won't.)
Session 4, anyway, brings us up to NANPLGEEGENLMAEA.
... no O, Y, or S, which means we still can't answer basic questions like whether you believe the far roofs are real with a simple NO or a YES. Same on whether you can face them again.
In fact, without O, we can't even "LMAO" at the very idea of being able to hold things together in the face of it all!
What can we find?
...
GLEAM is in there. It's a good word, but unless it fits something that's going on in the game or your personal take on things, it's unlikely to help.
LAME to self-chastise yourself is ... good if it's something your character keeps saying, but otherwise no.
LEAN, maybe?
Like, maybe you're LEANing on the rats for spiritual and mental support?
Conveniently (I'm drawing these from an online letter server, so they're not rigged) you even have two LNA at this point, meaning you can use up LEAN and still have PLAN in your pocket.
... let's do that.
Let's go ahead and answer two challenges with PLAN and with LEAN, leaving us with GEEGNMA and two questions left:
do I even believe the Far Roofs are real?
can I really face the Far Roofs again?
GEEGNMA. Dang. So close to having ENIGMA!
... I guess you do have ENEMA but that doesn't seem relevant.
AMEN ... not that useful, honestly, either.
NAME?
AMEN or NAME might help with some miscellaneous task, but not with the two questions at hand.
The next session brings us LSIRK.
GEEGNMALSIRK.
... which does give us ENIGMA as an option. We could answer a question with basically, "I dunno, it's an enigma."
... but of the two questions we have left,
do I even believe the Far Roofs are real?
can I really face the Far Roofs again?
... ENIGMA only really works for the first.
And that's totally fine! Except there are a few in-game incentives I haven't really talked about and in fact won't talk about here to encourage you to address the quest-question first.
So, what else?
SEE? SEER? Again, they only work for "do I even believe the Far Roofs are real?"
... let's table this until session 6.
Session 6. We get the letters OAEUWH. We now try to answer the questions:
do I even believe the Far Roofs are real?
can I really face the Far Roofs again?
with letters from GEEGNMALSIRKOAEUWH.
... we have an O now.
I don't like just answering the second question with "NO" but it's now possible, at least. You might do that, with your Magician, anyhow.
MAYBE, like YES, must still wait on a Y.
WHO CAN?, on a C.
...
Oh! But there's OW, for "yes, I believe they're real, but it really hurts"
WHO for "if I decide who I am, maybe?"
Those are rough. They might feel better, though, after keeping them in mind for a bit during play.
WHEEL ... is not helpful. Nor WHALE.
WHOA?
WAIL?
... I actually like WAIL here, though I hate using up that I and taking ENIGMA off the table. But, like:
"can I do this?" answer: incoherent wailing
That ... feels like a solid answer for someone who is both doing it and doesn't really think they can. Maybe not in your group and your circles. Maybe not for your Magician. But for some Magicians, at least, it makes sense.
The question
can I really face the Far Roofs again?
came from the first quest, and so when you answer it with WAIL, you move on to the second one. That gives us a new premise, a new set of card-drawing options, and a new question:
what did/will I find on the Roofs that I actually need?
So now we have GEEGNMSRKOAEUH and our questions are:
do I even believe the Far Roofs are real? and
what did/will I find on the roofs that I actually need?
Do you maybe need a KO? A ... RAKE?
A ... GROAN?
GROAN is a good answer to "do I even believe the Far Roofs are real," at least for the kind of character who answered "can I really face them?" with WAIL.
Let's ignore the incentives I mentioned earlier, then, and do just that, giving us the following set of challenges and answers:
how can I possibly hold myself together through this? PLAN
do I even believe the Far Roofs are real? ... (GROAN)
[your relationship with the rats] LEAN
can I really face the Far Roofs again? ... (WAIL) and
what did/will I find on the roofs that I actually need? ????
plus, EEGMSKEUH.
What do you need, that you can find on the roofs, that you can make out of EEGMSKEUH?
Do you need ... an SKU?
SEEK ... it's probably good to stick SEEK in your pocket, like, in case you figure out some way to use it as a "the journey is the destination" sort of thing, but the idea's a bit thin.
... let's say you don't use that yet.
The next session draws AABHR, for a total letter set of EEGMSKEUHAABHR.
... if there were a T, we could use BREATH.
... I guess, if there were a T, we could also have TEA.
I look at those letters and want to do HOPE, but in fact, we only have two letters from HOPE. We have an M, so we're closer to HOME ... but is the thing you find there really a home?
There's SHAME, but unless that's exactly your character arc, that's probably not what you need, that you find on the roofs.
GEM? HUGE? RAM? ... just a couple more letters and maybe we can get RAMEKIN, and honestly, you do need one of those, everybody does, but ... well, you don't have the letters for it.
GAME?
Let's say you push it off one session more.
The next session brings SRIHO.
Now we have EEGMSKEUHAABHRSRIHO.
... HOME is now possible, and strong, but only if there's stuff happening in game to lead up to it.
SHEER ... doesn't work.
Not quite enough letters for RHINO.
We can do BEARS, but you probably don't need that many bears. SOME RIBS ...
Ah, here we go:
RISK.
That could work. Let's say that it does.
You needed to get out of your comfort zone. You needed to do something scary. It was the only way to discover you could.
And if that's your answer, you can finish out the story now:
how can I possibly hold myself together through this? PLAN
do I even believe the Far Roofs are real? ... (GROAN)
[your relationship with the rats] LEAN
can I really face the Far Roofs again? ... (WAIL)
what did/will I find on the roofs that I actually need? ... RISK
Roughly eight sessions in ... really, 3-15, in practice ... and you've got your first personal storyline cleared. The next one will have you deal with some ghosts.
Thirty-two sessions to finish all four; after that, there's some options, but they're not as personal.
... but if your group has scheduling issues, or even if it doesn't, you might have trouble ever seeing 32 sessions of anything. You're not going to use this stuff up. You'll just hit a number of satisfying narrative stops for your character along the way and at some point the game will end when some player moves away or scheduling gets too rough or, optimally, when one of the larger group storylines ends or a couple players finish stories at once and everyone goes: "yeah, that's an ending."
Even if you've got a really solid group that meets really often, the campaign should keep you going for a good few years of play.
And now you know a bit about both the campaign and about what the Magician is like!

"The Freedom Fighters extend their lead to 19-11! What a performance!" Amazing another home run by America! You do not want to let this man get a piece of that ball! Japan does not look happy about that one. America and Romano doing their handshake at home plate after a very dramatic around the plate walk by America, he really took his sweet time.
Now, Germany steps up again, number 85, playing right field. He’s looking to keep the momentum going.

Pitch 3: Japan delivers a slider at 84 mph. Germany connects and sends a grounder to shortstop at 99 mph. Prussia fields it cleanly but throws wide to first! Germany reaches safely on the error!" It's not looking good for our home team. They seem to be feeling the pressure from those last runs. They need to keep their nerves in check and just focus on fundamentals.

Finally, Italy steps up again. He’s looking to add to the total.
Italy vs. Japan:
Pitch 1: Japan throws a fastball at 92 mph. Italy swings and misses. "Strike one!"
Pitch 2: Another fastball at 93 mph. Italy fouls it off. "Strike two!"
Pitch 3: Japan throws a changeup at 81 mph. Italy connects and sends a grounder to second base at 95 mph. Finland fields it cleanly and throws to first. "Out number three!"
End of the Top of the Ninth Inning:
Freedom Fighters: 11 runs, 9 hits, 0 errors
Freedom Fighters lead 21-11
And that does it for the top of the ninth. Japan did not look happy he was teh first one off the field to teh dug out. They seem to really be feeling the pressure after that home run from America, that set the whole tone of the Stadium into silence. Let's see if Japan and his team can return the call. We have seen them dig themselves out of worse before.
Bottom of the Ninth Inning:
Leading off for the Tsunami Titans in the bottom of the ninth inning is Spain, wearing number 12 and playing left field. He’s looking to get something started.

Next up is Finland, number 77, playing second base. Let’s see if he can keep the momentum going.
Finland vs. Italy:
Pitch 1: Italy throws a fastball at 85 mph. Finland swings and misses. "Strike one!"
Pitch 2: Another fastball at 86 mph. Finland watches it go by. "Ball one."
Pitch 3: Italy delivers a curveball at 77 mph. Finland connects and sends a grounder to shortstop at 97 mph. Denmark fields it cleanly but throws wide to first! Finland reaches safely on the error!" A great base hit by Finland ready to help his team set up a big play.
Now, it’s Iceland, number 45, playing first base. He’s looking to make an impact.
Iceland vs. Italy:
Pitch 1: Italy delivers a fastball at 85 mph. Iceland swings and misses. "Strike one!"
Pitch 2: Another fastball at 86 mph. Iceland fouls it off. "Strike two!"
Pitch 3: Italy throws a slider at 80 mph. Iceland connects and sends a line drive to center field at 102 mph. America dives but can't make the catch! Finland advances to third, and Iceland is on first!" A Stunning it by Iceland! A runner on first and third.
Next up is France, number 39, playing right field. The crowd is on their feet!
France vs. Italy:
Pitch 1: Italy throws a fastball at 85 mph. France swings and misses. "Strike one!"
Pitch 2: Another fastball at 86 mph. France watches it go by. "Ball one."
Pitch 3: Italy delivers a curveball at 78 mph. France connects and sends a high fly ball to left field at 105 mph. Sweden runs back, back... and it’s gone! A three-run home run for France! "The Tsunami Titans cut the lead to 21-15! What a comeback!" And clear the base home run by France! what a hit!
America calls a Time Out from Center. America and Italy meet at the mound to have a chat. They seem to be having a pretty serious discussion between the two of them a lot of hand movements going on.
While they have their little discussion this might be a good time to go over some of Italy's stats. Not only is he know for being the fastest in the league but strike out wise he's the better pitcher on the Freedom Fighters. He's best to have as a closer for situations like these. he really knows how to keep his cool and shut down batters.
And time out is over the game is back ok! Now, it’s Turkey at bat, number 40, the catcher. Let’s see if he can keep the rally going.
Turkey vs. Italy:
Pitch 1: Italy throws a fastball at 85 mph. Turkey swings and misses. "Strike one!"
Pitch 2: Another fastball at 86 mph. Turkey fouls it off. "Strike two!"
Pitch 3: Italy delivers a slider at 79 mph. Turkey makes contact, a grounder to shortstop at 100 mph. Denmark fields it cleanly and throws to first. "Out number one!" Nice shut down by Italy it looks like he's really locked in. That smile is gone from his face and he's all business.
Next up is Prussia, number 01, playing shortstop. Known for his confidence, let’s see if he can get on base.
Prussia vs. Italy:
Pitch 1: Italy throws a fastball at 85 mph. Prussia swings and misses. "Strike one!"
Pitch 2: Another fastball at 86 mph. Prussia watches it go by. "Ball one." Italy is shaking that one off, holding the ball staring Russia down waiting on the pitch to be called.
Pitch 3: Italy delivers a curveball at 77 mph. Prussia makes contact, a grounder to third base at 97 mph. England fields it cleanly and throws to first. "Out number two!" That was a nice effort by Prussia, If only he got a bigger piece of that one.
Next up is Scotland, number 11, playing center field. Let’s see if he can get something started with two outs. They really have to make something happen here.
Scotland vs. Italy:
Pitch 1: Italy throws a fastball at 85 mph. Scotland swings and misses. "Strike one!"
Pitch 2: Another fastball at 86 mph. Scotland watches it go by. "Ball one."
Pitch 3: Italy delivers a slider at 80 mph. Scotland connects and sends a high fly ball to left center field at 108 mph. America and Sweden converge... and it drops between them! Scotland hustles to second base for a double!" Great hit by Scotland!
And now, it’s Japan, 'The Tsunami,' wearing number 8 and pitching. The crowd is electric!
Japan vs. Italy:
Pitch 1: Italy throws a fastball at 85 mph. Japan swings and misses. "Strike one!"
Pitch 2: Another fastball at 86 mph. Japan fouls it off. "Strike two!"
Pitch 3: Italy delivers a changeup at 78 mph. Japan makes contact, a line drive to right field at 104 mph. Germany dives but can't make the catch. Scotland rounds third and heads for home. The throw to the mound... in time! Scotland rounding third making his way home. Italy charges, meets him there. Italy with the tag, and Scotland is out! "The Freedom Fighters win, 21-15!" He's out of there, and that's the ball game! the Freedom Fighters dominated by 6 points. What a come back! They spend the whole game dragging behind just to come out in the ninth with a mission to win!
End of the Game:
Freedom Fighters: 21 runs
Tsunami Titans: 15 runs
What a thrilling game. Italy taking initiative with that last out, not wanting to risk his throw to home and risked it for the out. Judging by the whole game this really isn't how I thought this game was going to turn out. It seemed like everything was going in the favor of The Titans after the switch up in teh outfield. But it looks like the Fighters buckled down. I'm not sure what America said to them in the dug out during their pep talk but whatever it was it sure worked!
For the MVP of the game I'm going to have to give it to: America: What with his pitching to lead off the game and his multiple home runs and leading his team to victory with an amazing come back.
Honorable mentions would have to be:
Sweden: Clearing the bases twice in the same inning driving in 6 runs, is something of legends.
Japan: Pitched all 9 innings and didn't show any sign of slowing down. I think he had a few more in him EASY
Spain: It's hard not to give this guy the recognition he deserves, he always puts on a show.
Players that need to go to my intensive baseball training camp before we even consider a rematch: Prussia- too many errors Canada- Was taken out of the game due to his poor show on first base, costing his team runs and the game. Germany- Is not signed up for teh camp but is on THIN ice. he needs to look alive out there and stop getting so distracted.
Pitching run down: America- Pitched 6 innings. Had a total of 84 throws. 5 strike outs Italy- Pitched 3 innings. Had a total of 48 throws. 3 strike outs Japan- Pitched all 9 innings. Had a total of 155 throws. 9 strike outs

I reappear again!
And I'm very tired, but we move. I don't mean to keep going radio silent for such long periods, I do tend to get way too engrossed into my work and I'm absolutely abismal at keeping up with social media. I can't excuse myself for this, especially since this has been to my detriment more recently; I've been experiencing some troubles with my left elbow recently (which is my drawing arm) that, while not too bad right now, have made me have to consider taking things more easy, which also hasn't helped with a large of burnout I've been feeling on my current animation project.
So, what does this mean? Well, for starters, I'm continuing work on the animation. Despite my burnout, I still feel like I'm putting good work into it and at this point abandonning it would just feel plain silly. In fact, here's the finished clean for shots 2 and 3 (shot 1 doesn't have the character so I don't have to animate). I'm currently... halfway(?) into cleaning up shot 4, and while I did want to get it done for this month to show you guys the whole thing that isn't gonna happen.
Shot 2:
Shot 3:
Next, once clean up is done, I'm going to be working on this animation a bit less so that I can make some other stuff. I know that might seem a bit backwards considering the previous problems I've listed, but my burnout really comes from being bogged down on one project for so long and instead of making one really good looking animations, I want to make "crappy" ones... and finally push forward with some original projects (even though I really want to play some games (I'm right at the end of Paper Mario TTYD) so bear with me).
My original plan was to get the animation done by October, but now I'm taking the stance of "It's done when it's done". This is really important to me as I want to start pushing to get a career in animation and this seems like the best way to get my work out there, alongside interacting with the community more (eventhough my quietness seems to extend to my online persona). As for my elbow, I've been doing stretches, exercises and wearing supports and it's feeling better, but I don't want to risk never being able to draw again so I'll still be taking it easy for some time.
That's almost everything, but I've got one more thing to share that I'm excited and nervous about:
I'm joining Artfight this year! I'll be on team Seafoam, but noboby's safe, I'll be attacking everyone and drawing as many peoples characters as I can. The characters I've put forward for other people to draw are: Mellow, Shamus, Lucy and Bruce (ignore John Travolta, I haven't submitted a fifth character). Welp, that enough from me, I know I've wrote long posts in the past but this one has gone overboard. I'll see you guys next month with more stuff, mainly Artfight and 1-hour anim probably, and hopefully my drawing arm doesn't explode!

Chapter 8/?
Chapter 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 ( i need to update these links, visit my pinned post for the updated links)
The group heads over to the elevator. Eddie is walking because apparently the doctors said it was okay. Steve didn't fully belive it but whatever. Steve was also walking with Robin at his side making sure he didn't fall.
At least thats what she said thats what she was doing. From Steve's perspective it looked like she was walking next to Steve while she stared off into space.
They all crammed into the elevator in a comedic fashion. The elevator wouldn't be considered small if it was just one or two people but when there were 5 people coming into the elevator with three people already in there, it was small. The elevator ride was uncomftorable and weirdly quiet. Once they got to the third and last floor everyone rushed out and exhaled as if they had been holding their breaths the entire time, which Robin was.
Their group started walking toward Erica's room and the three other people walked the other way. Two of them looked to be a couple and the third person was headed in the same direction but didn't seem to be walking with the couple.
The group walked into Erica's room. Lucas, Max, Eleven, and Erica were playing a card game that looked suspiciously like Go-Fish. They all looked up when the group walked in.
Erica and Max laughed seeing them all try to fit through the doorframe at the same time. El and Lucas were barely holding themselves together. Mike sat next to El and Dustin sat down next to Lucas. Dustin looked at Lucas' cards and then at Erica's. He smirked and then leaned back in the chair. Robin, Eddie, and Steve sat in the chairs away from the bed.
"Do you think it makes you better than us when you sit back there?" Max asked in a mocking tone of voice.
"I think that there's no more room next to Erica's bed." Steve responded.
Eleven passed more cards out to Dustin and Mike and they continued the game. The game finished with Max winning. El started shuffling the cards and Mike spoke.
"Do you guys want to try playing this fun game I learned recently."
"Sure." Lucas said
"Why not." Max remarked
"Is it stupid?" Erica asked.
"Well I like to think its not stupid but you probably will think it is."
"Thats fair."
"What are the rules?" Dustin asked.
Mike began explaining the rules. The game sounded unnesecarily complicated but really fun.
They began playing and El won the first round. (Steve didn't say it but he saw her wiping away the nosebleed she had from looking at the cards.)
The kids played games for the next hour or so. El, Max, and Lucas were joking around alot and it sounded weird to say but, it looked like Mike and Dustin were somehow third wheeling. Or would that be fourth and fifth wheeling.
"Hey, do you want to go into the hall and talk about whatever you wanted to talk about?" Robin asked.
"Yeah sure." Steve said building up some confidence. It was Robin, she would love him regardless but he was still nervous. It was like there were thousands of tiny butterflies rolling in his stomach.
They walked out of the room with Steve following her. The two walked a little bit away from the open door, enough that the group wouldn't be able to hear them unless they were trying to.
"So, what is it?"
"Um I," Shit, Steve was stuttering. Why was he nevous. It was going to be fine. "I think I uh might be Bi."
"Really, I knew it."
Steve lowered his shoulders and relaxed. He didn't know what he was so nervous about. Robin was literally the one who had brought up the idea. "Wait, you knew it?"
"I mean I guessed. You were staring at Kevin Bacon the whole time we watched Footloose."
"I didn't even think about that."
"Okay so what did make you realize?"
"I'm not telling you."
"C' mon I've told you pretty much everything."
"I'll tell you if you tell me the name of that new crush."
"Fine." Robin stuck out her hand and Steve shook it.
"Well, it was Eddie." Steve said blushing like hell.
"Shit, Eddie. I mean thats fair, he is hot."
"Okay, whats the name of your secret crush?"
"Not telling you"
"You shook on it!"
"I was crossing my fingers. Anyways, I would bet that Eddie has a thing for guys. And he'd be crazy not to go for you."
"No, I don't think he's into dudes."
"Your gaydar is ass."
"My gaydar is perfectly fine, it works."
"Steve, you thought I was straight, ME."
"Well, yeah. But my gaydar still works."
"Fine, if your gaydar works so well answer me this. Which of the kids is probably queer?"
"Will and Dustin."
"Steve, its all of those kids. They are all queer."
"Robin, I trust your gaydar but you're wrong."
"Am I though?"
Steve laughed "Yes you are, Mike is most definitely straight."
now it was Robin's turn to laugh, "Even if I'm wrong, which I'm not, Mike is they gayest one there."
"No way."
"Have you seen the way he stares at Will?"
"He does not."
"Yeah, all the time. I'm suprised you didn't notice."
"Am I oblivious or are you wrong."
"You are a dingus so I would guess that youre oblivious."
"I am not a dingus."
"Are too."
"Am not."
"Are too."
"Am not."
"Are too."
"You guys sound like children." Eddie said with just his head sticking out the door and the rest of his body inside the room.
"Hey Eddie," Steve said, blushing. "How much of that did you hear?"
Eddie steps fully out into the hallway. "Just the 'Am not, are too" part of it." he says in a mocking tone of voice.
"Did you need something or did you just come here to bother us?" Robin asked, their words sounded mean but their tone was joking and nice.
"Everyone was just wondering what was taking so long. Dustin wanted to listen in on you guys but I told him we shouldn't."
Robin looked at him skeptically.
He looked back at her sheepishly, "Okay fine it was Lucas who said we shouldn't."
"We're done anyways." Steve said.
They all walked into the room and sat down.
"Finally, you nerds are back." Erica said.
"What?" Steve asked, "Were you worried about us?"
"We were just wondering if you idiots had somwhow died." Erica was joking and everyone knew that by the sound of her voice but there was a serious layer in her tone. A tone that was saying that they could die that fast, that everyone in this room has seen people die. Everyone laughed but they all knew that they could die, pretty much at any time.
"Nope, not dead yet."
Robin and Steve sat down in their chairs and Steve laughed. Neither him or Robin were sitting in their chairs properly, or anyone else for that matter.
A doctor walked in and Mike, El, Erica, and the adults all tensed.
Dustin, Lucas, and Max were all still laughing together completely oblivious to the change in tone. Finally they saw that everyone was looking at the doctor and they saw him too.
it was quiet and tense in the room, there was a sense of hope but it was also filled with anxiety and fear. Everyone held still and was as quiet as possible. If someone were to walk into the room they would instinctively beome quiet and would probably have anxiety loop around their chest and slowly pull.
The doctor chuckeled awkwardly, "I come bearing good news."
They all relax and it's still quiet but less like during an imprtant test and more like relaxing with close friends.
"You're able to be released from the hospital now. We've already called your parents and they are heading here."
The kids all stood up and started cheering. Lucas danced around with El, Max and Mike and Dustin were standing up and laughing with everyone. Eddie and Robin were still sitting but they were smiling. Steve was talking with Erica.
Time passed quickly and soon all the kids were dropped off at home. (courtesey of Mrs. Sinclair and Robin who had stolen Steve's car while he was in the hospital)
Steve and Eddie were back in their hospital room, they were watching a movie Robin had brought for them.
"Hey Steve?"
"Yeah."
"Do you belive in a god?"
"Well thats a really compliated quiestion. I used to, before all of this. Things happened and I realized that God just didn't care if he even did exist. If I'm really stressed out I might pray but its more to comfort myself than anything. What do you think?"
"I personally think that there might be a higher power of some kind, but they aren't whatever religions describe."
"That makes sense. Why were you asking?"
"Just curious. I've met lots of people with lots of different beliefs. You're one of the only people who didn't scoff at me before answering with something like: 'I'm a christian.' "
Steve laughed. Eddie was interesting and funny. He didn't look his usual self without the clothes and rings, but he still looked really cool. He looked like someone who would flip off cops with no hesitation but help people whenever he could. Of course Steve had seen him do both so it wasn't all that hard to imagine.
A different doctor than the one in Erica's room walked in. He looked as uncomftorable as the other doctor. Although the other dotor had been uncomftorable because of the tension, this one was uncomftorable because it was such a private moment.
He spoke confidently anyways. "You two are able to be released now."
"Again!?" Eddie remarked.
"Again?" The doctor asked.
"Our friend was released today too." Steve answered.
"Oh our hospital tries not to keep anybody over four days unless they truly need our help."
The doctor them begins to explain how to take care of the concussion and stithes to both of us. Steve wasn't paying attention but he did catch when to use the pain meds he perscribed so thats good.
Eddie's uncle Wayne came to pick him up and brought him fresh clothes.
Robin came to pick up Steve but unfortunately she didn't bring clothes for him. Steve couldn't think of any words, he was too tired. Instead of trying he just listened quietly to Robin's music.
The music sounded more muted than usual. Over the last three years Steve had gotten some hearing damage so that he could barely hear out of one of his ears.
They finally reached Steve's house and he walked straight upstairs, took his disgusting clothes off, and laid down.
He passed out almost immideately.
A/N: I feel that I may have rushed this but im fine with how it is so i wont change anything. I finished this last night but I couldn't think of a title and then I passed out. Also to the friend who told me that I shouldn't go past 13 chapters, I'm going way over that. Steve is a tired little bitch who sleeps alot.

SR Cater Diamond Ceremonial Robe Personal Story: Part 1
"Want to play a guessing game?"
Part 1 (Part 2)
[Mirror Chamber]
[overlapping chatter]
Cater: Oohhー The new students are all in a row! They've assembled in full force♪
Trey: Of course they have, Cater. That's because it's the entrance ceremony.
Trey: From the ones who are frozen stiff from nervousness, to the ones who can't settle down at all... I don't know whether to think of them all as naïve or boisterous.
Cater: I wonder if you were just as cute two years ago, Trey-kun~?
Trey: I absolutely don't remember.
Cater: I probably took a picture, y'know. Of you from our first year.
Trey: You don't have to show me.
Cater: Well, there is that one person who wasn't at all naïve from the moment they entered the school.
???: You new students over there. 4 rows from the right, you three at the back!
Riddle: Are you not able to stay silent during the ceremony, at a minimum?
Riddle: Next time you whisper, it'll immediately be off with your head. Be sure to bear that in mind.
Cater: Whew~ Riddle's super loud and clear today too. I'm almost getting chills down my spine.
Trey: For Riddle, this is the first entrance ceremony after he was appointed Dorm Leader.
Trey: He's probably nervous.
Cater: I say today, but he's irritable every day.
Trey: Well then… The dorm sorting ceremony is starting soon.
Cater: It's here~~♪
Trey: I'm curious as to what type of folks are going to join us this year? It would be great if they are students who are calm and have common sense.
Cater: I want someone who's cheerful and easy to get along with~ Oh, but not one who can't read the room, y'know! That'd be troublesome.
Cater: I have an idea! Want to play a guessing game as to who'll join Heartslabyul?
Cater: Whoever's wrong has to volunteer to watch over the first years at the welcome party after this.
Trey: It feels like whenever you make those kinds of joking statements, you always seem to lose.
Cater: I don't know, I've always had a good eye when it comes to watching people~
Trey: Fine then. We can only observe the new students while their souls are being sorted, anyway.
Cater: So then… Let's start the "(2,000,00)1st Heartslabyul New Student Guessing Game"♪
Cater: Let's go straightaway with the first person. I wonder if that student will join Heartslabyul~?
Cater: Uwa~ What a rough looking guy! That's a no vote for me. I don't think our flashy dorm uniform would suit him, anyway.
Trey: I also vote that he won't join us.
Trey: If I were to infer from historical patterns, a majority of beastfolk tend to be assigned to Savanaclaw.
Dark Mirror: The shape of your soul is… Savanaclaw!
Cater: Yep, there it is~ When it's your third time attending the entrance ceremony, you start to be able to read how the Dark Mirror makes its choices.
Cater: Next is the second person. I wonder if that student will join Heartslabyul~?
Cater: Yep, my vote is that kid will come to us!
Trey: What's your reasoning for that?
Cater: He's by far the cutest~! If he had an older sister, don't you think she would be a total stunner?
Trey: Rather than a prediction, that's just your own wishes. Besides, isn't it possible that he might not even have an older sister to begin with?
Cater: Even so, he'll have a mom. …Hey, I'm joking, I'm joking!! Trey-kun, did you fall for it?
Trey: I vote that he also won't be joining us.
Cater: Don't ignore me~
Cater: Next is the fifth person…
Cater: Next is the tenth person…
Riddle: ――Now, does that conclude the entrance ceremony and the dorm sorting?
Riddle: Listen up, you new students. I am the law in Heartslabyul.
Riddle: Understand that anyone who defies me will lose their heads.
Cater: The "Heartslabyul New Student Guessing Game" has finished~! And, as expected, the outcome is――?
Trey: Too bad, Cater. It's my win, 5 to 4.
Trey: So have fun watching over the new students. That first year with the auburn hair seems to be pretty lively.
Cater: Man! I lost…
Cater: And on top of that, Pomefiore took that cuuute lavender-haired first year…

today is the four year anniversary of far cry 5 !! i have a lot of . thoughts i guess . so i'll try to assemble them into something ?? legible lmao but . here goes . i'll put it under a read more bc it's uh a bit of a beast actually haha .
i've never played a far cry game before 5 afaik, outside of maybe building an island or something once in like 2, or 3, years ago when i was playing at someone else's house on their copy . i never really had much interest in it (nothing against the series, i just . didn't . too busy playing fallout for the 30th time i suppose) . even with far cry 5, i didn't even really notice it until recently i suppose ? i ended up getting it on sale on steam and then just . spur of the moment randomly playing it back in january and i . fell in love lol . i was originally drawn to it bc of the sort of redneck/country vibes, plus ofc a religious murder cult (those are two of my absolute favorite things in any sort of media lol) . but in all honesty the game far exceeded any expectations i had for it and i just . enjoyed it so tremendously . i love the characters, i love the environment, i love the music (both the in-game cult radio as well as the instrumental stuff), i just . love everything about it really . and i'm very grateful to have had it in my life for these past few months, to have had it to play during some really difficult moments . along with the actual game itself, having a photo mode option for someone like me is just . incredibly amazing . fallout doesn't have that sort of thing, so i feel really spoiled now actually lol . going back to having to console command my ui away and having no free camera and no time change and so on .... it's gonna be rough . i've taken so many photos, and so many photos i love so much, and it's helped me build this account and find other fans and just share the love of the game with all of you, for which i am also incredibly grateful . thank you all for joining me here, and for all of your kind words and support . it means more to me than words can say . i started playing the game about 2 months ago really and it's been truly wonderful ever since . i started march with a photoset on the first, and then another on the second, and another on the third . i didn't plan by any means to make a post a day, but i decided after a few days of daily posts, maybe i could make a personal goal to post once a day . then i realized on top of that, hey it's the anniversary month so why don't i celebrate it and really keep up with that post a day thing and now here we are, 27 days later and 27 posts later . i plan to finish the month out with a post a day as well for a total of 31 by the end of it all . after that, we'll see what happens ! i'd like to continue posting screenshots for far cry 5 of course; after all, i'm always taking more photos lol . at this point i spend more time photographing hope county than i do actually doing anything of any real value there, but i wouldn't have it any other way really . however, i'd also like to include other games on this account (fallout 3, 4, and nv for sure . maybe rdr2 if i ever start it back up) . i also need to play new dawn (which i own and am just too busy playing fc5 to get to lmao), and i'd love to get fc6 + the joseph collapse dlc one day . so i guess expect photos from all of those games in the future as well as more content from fc5 ! along with that, i'd love to post artwork, links to my fics, and also interact more with other people's content and other people in general on here . but for the month of march, i just want to show my love and celebration for the game for its anniversary with a photoset every day . i'm thinking i might do the same next year, but we'll see . it'll be the five year anniversary for the fifth numbered far cry game so i feel like i have to be a little extra and over the top lol . i hope those of you who follow me now will stick around even with the sort of broadening of content, but if you don't, that's fine as well . ANYWAY i'm done being all gooey and whatnot lol . i'll get a photoset set up for today in a little bit . thank you all for joining me here and sticking around; if you made it this far, know that i love you . if you didn't make it this far, know that i still love you .
i love you . stay platinum pussycats 🖤🖤🖤
#personality module#happy anniversary baby#i love you more than words can say#🖤🖤🖤🖤#side note#the formatting on the ending of this text post is just fucking UP bro#what is /happening/#i'm gonna scream#lmao

🕒SEREN : 2-3pm | NCT 24hr RELAY CAM
"It's exactly 2:00 pm — well now it's 2:01 pm."
Seren is standing in front of the camera, which is on her small desk. She's wearing a blue sweater and pants, there is a white towel around her shoulders, and her hair is wet.
"I just took a bath. The water was so good that I almost forgot about you." she begins to dry her hair. "Johnny-oppa had to come to knock on my door to remind me."
She stops drying her hair for a moment to grab the camera, then walks over to her bed and sits down. With one hand, she holds the camera and, with her other hand, continues to dry her hair.
"These days, there isn't much to do because, you know, we can't go outside." she pouts. "So after practice or when I finish my schedule, I come back here, rest a bit, and then go to the 10th floor to watch movies or hang out."
"I don't really wear makeup when I'm at home," she says when she's done drying her hair. "Well, that's a lie. I do wear it sometimes, but I don't feel like doing it today."
Seren sets the towel aside and eases herself onto the bed, crossing her legs.
"You can see I have dark circles," she points under her eyes.
"Ah, you guys, I've been listening to a lot of music lately — well, always." she laughs a little. "But lately, I feel more connected. I recently listened to Zayn's album again —yes, Icarus Falls, don't tell me you haven't heard it! — and I forgot how great it was. In fact," she starts laughing all of a sudden. "yesterday Taeyong-oppa entered the room and was scared because everything was dark and the music was loud. I was sitting like this and meditating... Yes, he was scared."
She is silent for a moment. "I don't know what to do anymore— it's embarrassing to admit that. I already ate, Doyoung-oppa is in his room, but I don't want to disturb him. Johnny-oppa is getting ready because he has things to do, and Taeyong-oppa left early." she sighed with mock sadness. "I only have Haechan left ..."
Another scene appears in the video, Seren leaving her room and bumping into Haechan coming out of hers.
"Did you just wake up?" she looks surprised. "Yah, you have to sleep early. Czennies, Haechan played until 4 am, again."
"They know that's my bedtime," Haechan scoffed. "And I woke up half an hour ago, but I'll go back to sleep in a while."
"No! You have to keep me company."
"But I have better things to do!" He whined.
Seren shot him a look. "Go away then, and don't talk to me ever again."
The next few seconds of the video are Haechan hugging her and asking her for "forgiveness" as they made their way to the kitchen.
(...)
They both sit at the table— there are various plates of food and fruit. Haechan brings his face closer to the camera with a big smile.
"Well, now this is Haechan 1.0 Relay Cam. They'll watch me eat while Sohee admires my face."
"Very funny."
She moves the camera away from him and places it on the table, focusing on both of them.
But he ignores her. "Auntie left me some prepared food. I love her."
"I love her even more."
"You just want to fight."
Seren rolls her eyes and grabs a plate of grapes. Haechan takes a plate of food.
"What are you going to do when it's your turn?" she asks him, stuffing the fifth grape into her mouth.
"I don't know." He shrugs. "I told Johnny-hyung to do it with me. And now you have to be there as well."
"I doubt it."
"Ah, noona!" he begs.
She laughs and moves closer to the camera. "Czennies, pay attention. This is what he does when he wants something from me. He never calls me that, only when he wants something."
"You never want to appear with me," Haechan complains. "The same thing happened last time. You preferred to go out with Jaehyun-hyung."
"You didn't invite me last time." She responds defensively, but there is a smile peeking out. "Like, we ran into each other in the elevator, and you just complained. Besides, we're together right now."
"If I were Jaemin ..." he mutters, taking a big bite out of his food.
But Seren hears him because, after that, she lets out the loudest laugh, and when she moves her hand, she accidentally hits him.
"Haechanie tends to get jealous because he swears that Jaemin is my favorite now."
Haechan frowns but still seems to want to laugh. "I just finish this meal, and trust me, the rest of the week I don't speak to you again."
He was obviously joking because not even a minute later, they were both chatting and laughing like nothing.
"After this, we should play fifa," he says.
Seren immediately denies it. "I don't play with bad losers."
"Once! That was once!" he defends himself. "And I don't know since when did you get good."
"Jungwoo taught me." She responds happily. "He said, and I quote: so you can finally kick his ass— butt! I meant butt."
He lets out a big snort. "I'm better than him."
"I highly doubt that."
After what seemed like an eternity (to her) of waiting for Haechan to finish eating and hearing him say that "he was definitely better than Jungwoo" they finally went to sit in the living room.
She adjusts the camera so that it focuses on both of them, and he takes the remote control to turn on the television.
"Hey, don't you dare turn on the game!" she sits up and frowns at him.
Haechan pouts at her. "Please, just for a bit. Think about this: the Relay Cam is almost over, and czennies want to see us play."
"They don't want that."
"Yes, they do," he raises an eyebrow. "You think they don't want to see two competitive Geminis play a video game that makes them fight?"
Seren blinks for a moment and then looks straight into the camera. "Shame on you If you want that, guys. I actually don't like fighting with you," she looks at Haechan for a few seconds and then smiles. "but I do like kicking your butt."
She didn't have to say more, Haechan immediately turned on the video game. For the next few minutes, they play (and she calls him a cheater several times) until her phone rings, and when she picks it up, she sees the time.
"It's 2:58!"
Seren shows her phone to the camera. Her lock screen is a photo of a bunch of beautiful butterflies.
"Before you finish this, they should know that I'm beating you," Haechan smirks.

he said that she had agreed to appear on his relay cam, but when he went to her room she was already asleep
"i will get my revenge"
after a while she is mentioned again
he's telling his stories
and then he says he was very nervous when he met her
because she was known for her dancing and at the time he was new — so he was intimidated and didn't know what to say
🕒TAEYONG : 10-11am
again, she doesn't really appear in the video
but her voice is heard
when taeyong is lying on his bed, she asks him —in a really soft voice— if he wants to have breakfast
then her voice is heard again when he is feeding his fish
she is giggling while saying "cute, cute, cute"
and taeyong calls her cute too

My reactions through my Nintendo E3 2021’s highlight picks
Hey guys! You know me from what been checking on E3 announcement last week. I even did my other posts to mention it of 🐰Mario + Rabbits sequel game and 🏁🏎Forza Horizon 5 as my interests picks.
June. 13th, 2021 - Link Here
June. 14th, 2021 - Link Here #2
Now it's finally time that I can talk through Nintendo E3 2021's announcement of games and content; after reveals back in June 15th that I should've bring this sooner, but due to working on my other tasks that I'm gonna save it til today. Hoping that I had time for free time to explain of what I feel for Nintendo E3 2021 Direct reveal for this month of June; especially which one that I finding most interested so I could added through my wishlist on eShop app. So today, here's my interesting picks for Nintendo E3 reveal this year; whether you agreed or disagree of how it goes when you suggest other was. I know if everyone so close to look forward the Switch Pro reveal, but it seems that it didn't happen anytime soon. Anyways, now get into my picks that I screenshot and edited through last week's Nintendo Direct I've managed.
First top left - ✊😈Kazuya Mishima joining Super Smash Bros Ultimate
First off, I knew that there will be at least one Super Smash Bros DLC Fighter reveal; before saving the last one for coming months this year soon. What's really unexpected to see though is a second Bandai Namco fighter after 👻PAC-MAN, but sadly its not Lloyd that if everyone hoping he would've upgraded from a Mii Costume to a true fighter yet. (Like we ever getting another sword fighter once again. 😒) No, it was actually ✊😈Kazuya Mishima from the Tekken series. My reaction was caught my attention since it started when he carrying Ganondorf to the lava pit and so does other fighters that is really dark. Except for Kirby that thankfully knows how to get away, but still. If I remember his origin through reading wiki site though, at time he used to be good until his father Heihachi sees him as his weakness. Later when Heihachi kills one of the family members that Kazuya been fond of and being thrown by his father in the cliff until he eventually climbs back up when his devil gene activates. Ever since then, Kazuya is now antagonist for the recent Tekken games so far and seeing him to match fight against Smash was an unexpected sight. I remember the time after hearing Masahiro Sakurai's interview where he consider Heihachi to be playable for Smash 4, but pass over due to implement his moveset to be difficult. But here we are seeing for Kazuya instead that it really sure takes time to deliver. After his moveset through his reveal could be challenging to work it out on command. Let's just wait to figure out once Sakurai will finally bring us his next presentation next week, but for now knowing this Tekken fighter joining Smash was a unique idea that Sakurai managed to work it out.
Second top right - 🌟Mario Party Super Stars
How about that when where seeing the next Mario Party game brings us? Despite the recent 2018 Super Mario Party, this will be the twelfth installment to be heading Nintendo Switch this year's 🎃October 2021; this time having 100 remastered minigames like I've seen them before on previous Mario Party games. My reaction was good to see how it continues on, but sure miss that time I remember from my childhood for the original first Mario Party game on the N64 console. So what's get me attention is the recognized boards such as 👑🎂Peach's Birthday Cake makes a comeback! It looks the way that I remember from playing the N64 game when the layouts off frosting goodness and the song to match as well. It was really something when it comes from Nintendo and their past N64 games I have memories fond of. 🙂👍🏼
youtube
I give this Nintendo a good move when trying to bring back Mario Party again as a E3 reveal, but maybe just maybe if it will be this good from previous Mario Party games in terms of selling copies. Who knows? *Shrug*
Third middle left - Metroid Dread
However, if you really looking forward a new Nintendo game coming to October 2021 early is a most recognized franchise making a return....meanwhile Metroid Prime 4 is still in development. At least knowing this game can take us time before the fourth prime game can be finished, but man that everyone went crazy after the reveal of Metroid Dread! It the return of 2D Metroid game in action after the success of Samus Return for 3DS back in September 2017. My reaction was surprised and impressive for the looks and feels about this game's tone; especially the haunting part where the robot named "EMMI" (but don't be confused with the word Emmy as an Emmy Award like if would funny. 😅) trying to catch up with Samus and it's game over....😵 I think I could add this into my wishlist and it would be the first time I'll be owning this Metroid game for my Switch system. Fact: Metroid Dread was originally plan as a Nintendo DS title way back in mid 2000s, but sadly being cancelled due to technical limitations.
Fourth middle right - 💣WarioWare Get It Together
I was hoping if Warioware could come back for the lastest Switch system and they finally called. However, this game will take a different approach than doing minigames of yourself, but with your characters do it for you. For this latest Warioware game of picking noses, it'll be having one of the characters such as Wario, Mona, Jimmy T, 9-Volt, and others to do on all minigames with their strengths and skills they can managed. My reaction was pretty good knowing that Nintendo is making this a unique idea than doing a same microgame gameplay style from previous ones, but in a fun way. Cross my fingers if I'll be saving this as a digital download version. Like that time I actually got "Warioware Touched!" for my 2DS/3DS handheld system back in April 2016, but sadly lost it of deletion unfortunately....😧 Link Here #3
Fifth middle bottom - Game & Watch The Legend of Zelda
And finally is something that we're hoping to expect during almost halftime of their E3 direct reveal. Knowing this year is The Legend of Zelda 35th Anniversary, you probably hoping they can bring something to celebrate one of the most recognized series run. While it was shocking to know they won't be having plans to do; even for me that I finding baffling for Nintendo would do this. At least they wanted to make up for it by having to released the HD remastered version of Skyward Sword coming next month and giving us a second look for the upcoming Breath of the Wild sequel until it'll be released next year....eventually. What's my pick though is the Game & Watch version for The Legend of Zelda; the same thing of what it made for Super Mario and during its 35th Anniversary run last year. For this next one will have 3 related Zelda games: 1987 original, Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link, The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, and a special Game and Watch version of Vermin, but playing as Link as he trying to clobbered the octoroks instead of moles. Looks like it'll be a different take from what the Super Mario version have, but hoping it won't be the limited edition once maybe I could get one of those a try. So for my reaction was pretty alright. 🙂👍🏼
Overall:
Man that is the list for my interests picks I gotten, but after watching Nintendo E3 Direct for this year sure worth it at the end. It was very impressive direct despite of absent games not being showed like Bayonette 3 or Metroid Prime 4, but with other announcements such as Metroid Dread and Mario Party Super Stars does give us something for the win.
What did you think about this list of my interesting picks for Nintendo E3, though? Give yourself some likes and reblogs for this post I bring. Anyways, I'm just gonna check on my P-Pal's secret art trade part for me that I should've done it early. Sorry about making this post that I took hours to finished, @murumokirby360

Creator appreciation!! list five favourite things you've made and send this ask to five other creators if you want to!
OMG.....thank you anna just what i needed this fine saturday morning
Probably my favorite thing I've made ever is Nothing But Trouble, a Tales of the Abyss fic that adds a soulmate mechanism to a game that already HAS one bullshit fate mechanism. I really enjoyed doing in-game and post-game character work and then imagining what the end of the game means consequentially! I was so proud of it that I made my roommate (who has not played abyss) read it and she said she liked it so I've been riding that high ever since
Second is this piece I did of Boa Hancock last August (maybe September? Time flies so fast). Even though I think I could draw this better now, I'm still really happy with how it turned out!
Third is this pic of the abyss girlies ten years in the future! I learned a lot when I was drawing it and it was so much fun designing what their outfits would like and how they would change over the years (Tear moving her hair out of her face, Natalia cutting her hair and still being an archer but also being proper queen, Anise growing up and becoming Fon Master)
.Fourth is this pic of 4/6ths of the bad kids from fantasy high feat sklonda and gilear in the background...it started off as more of an experiment with painting but i had so much fun refining it and am still very happy with how it turned out
Fifth is for all we know, my zosan wedding fic!! this was such a doozy and i was such a different person when i started it than when i finished it...its just kind of crazy to think about
(not featured is my in-progress nazi-killing cold war story...someday i will finish it)

Sims 3: Egyptian Roots
Generation One: Childish Lovers
Chapter 4: Nanu's Gnome Graves
Sul, Sul and welcome back to Monte Vista for another quick photo update of Dean and Nanu's fifth Sim week living on the outskirts of the town. For some reason these 'Mysterious Gnome' gravestones have been showing up in their yard and by then end of my visit (as I call my game plays) there were five of them. Have had this happen with other households but find it weird because there weren't any live gnomes in the house or yard before. Dead gnome invasion, I guess.
Nanu is working on her lifetime wish of owning the 'Perfect Private Aquarium'. Since she heard that 'childish' Sims can catch fish in swimming pools, Nanu decided to try it out at Monte Vista's public pool. It worked as she managed to add two more perfect fish to her collection and now has 5 of the 13 needed to complete her lifetime goals.
Dean & Nanu's little boy Sean is now a cute toddler. His favorite color is white which is paired with his father's preferred shade of green. Below, Sean is having fun in his crib while his parents are sleeping down the hall. Yes, he has already taken a liking to his special doll, Shawna and by the end of the sim week had already learned how to walk and talk with help from the toddler walker and playpen.
After little Sean's birthday and on his day off, Dean took his first trip to Egypt to take a photo of the Sphinx for a local business back home. Since Nanu had begun the 'Business Abroad' adventures which look into the affairs of the MorcuCorp business handlings in the country, Dean was given the cheap jobs of getting photographs of a treasure chest and ancient coins for the local special merchant for the new tourist brochure. He also helped the relic merchant Abdul Kamel make replica relics by finding some copper bars for him. Dean made a few new friends while on his trip including Sopdu Hawas, above.
At the end of the week, Nanu took a trip to China to catch some assassin bugs but almost forgot about catching them after finding the ancient relic for Li Yuan in the tomb of the Halls of the Lost Army and trying to catch that perfect Ochiba Koi fish. By the time she (aka her absent-minded guide) remembered why she came to China in the first place it was too late and could not catch the only assassin bug that she found. However Nanu did one final mission on her last day which was to help the special merchant, Abi Yat Sen by exploring the Dragon's Cave until she had a vision.
Hope you've enjoyed this quick visit with Dean and Nanu and they look forward to next time when Nanu returns to China to catch the assassin bugs for the science lab and finish her task with Abi Yat Sen.
Author's Note:
Now that some of my households are starting to get into the second generation, I've been changing some of the overall household titles and giving each generation their own theme name. For Dean and Nanu, I came up with 'Childish Lovers' since they both have the 'childish' trait and are very much in love with each other. Egyptian Roots will still be the overall legacy name. Although I hadn't planned on getting into legacy writing, it kind of just happens as the game goes along and each household starts to develop their own legacy themes..

The Jonicles - Entry 5
Note: This is the fifth entry of The Jonicles, hence why the date does not match when this is being posted. This was written back in May to June of this year before I started this blog, and there will be errors or developments in how this series was being written. Please enjoy (or don't enjoy) the fifth entry of The Jonicles!
It is the 31st of May, 2022 at 6:09 am (nice) and I'm freezing my nuts off. It is Tuesday, which means the day of reckoning has passed, but that begs the question: What did it cost? It is also #13 of my Jon Arbuckle hyperfixation. I have gone past 10 days which means my sanity has gobe far too low to salvage.
I meant to write this entry before, but I had to do schoolwork and I kinda forgot to. I've also been exhausted from it all.
But I have a very important thing to document. On the 28th of May, 2022 at 4:41 pm, I purchased Garfield Kart: Furious Racing on Steam for $2.15 as it was 90% off. This is a monumental moment because, unlike the original Garfield Kart, Garfield Kart: Furious Racing actually seems to run properly on my computer, which is real nice! Initially when I bought the game, I thought it would be a sequel, akin to Mario Kart 8 in a way. But I was pleasently surprised to find out that Garfield Kart: Furious Racing is more of a remaster of the original, with better graphics, higher poly models, that same golden soundtrack and, oh my god, it has multiplayer!?!?!?!? Ayo!?!?!?!?
But one of the best parts about it is that when I launched the game and went into the control settings, it's actually functional and doesn't go all wack on me! Heavens above! This is obviously the best god damn racing game I have ever played in my entire, pitiful 16 year existence.
Jokes aside though, this game is... actually really good! It's like if you took the original game and buffed it up to 100 (whatever THAT means) and gave it a fresh coat of beautiful bright orange paint to go along with it. It's smooth, quite polished and oh my gosh Jon looks even cuter than he did before. Just look at that stupid little polite smile on his face, it's adorable :)
Anyway! I can actually drive without the entire game lagging! It's not as smooth as butter but it's smooth. I made a rivalry with Arlene and Nermal, killed Garfield by throwing a pie at him and making him flip off the side of a bridge on Palerock Lake, glitched out the camera and commited vehicular homicide. I even won a race! But there's still one thing that I'd like to address...
Jon still feels lesser when he loses a race, and I just need to say this again: Jon, so matter how low you feel, no matter what place you get in the race, no matter how fast you drive, you are still special to me. You still mean the world to me even when you feel you mean nothing to the world. It doesn't matter whether you win or lose if the race, you are still first place in my heart... and my brain, which I gladly and warmly welcome you into with open arms. It's only been over a week, but it feels like an eternity that I've had this fixation on you for, and I cherish every bit of it. Drive on, Jon. Love you buddy.
Last edited at 8:56, 1st of June. I... really wish school wasn't in the way all the time so I could finish writing these.
Kinda surprised I didn't go into all the nitty-gritty details when writing this one. Like, I could have talked about the higher poly models more, Jon's presence, the improved UI and higher quality music, the improved courses and how cool it is that you can actually play with your friends on Garfield Kart for the first time. I feel like this entry coulda' had more potential, to be honest. But eh, oh well. It's what it's, I suppose.
That picture of Jon reversing in his kart is super cute, though. Look at him, he looks so polite and goofy....
Cheers,
Your Local Jonnoisseur
Posted on the 20th of July 2022, 7:00 am
#jonicles 5#garfunkle kart the sequel?#it really is more of a remaster though#just with some new features#i mean it has a few problems#but the sheer quality of Furious Racing makes the concept of a Garfield kart racer less weird

We have a lineup change for the Tsunami Titans: Canada is being pulled from the game, and Iceland will be taking over at first base, batting fifth. Let's see how the seventh inning unfolds! Looks like Japan does not want to risk anymore errors on the field tonight.
Score going in- 6-5 favor of Japan's team.
Eight Inning:

The throw to the plate... not in time! Scotland scores, and Japan is on second with a double! "The Tsunami Titans take the lead, 11-10!" And that's another run for the Titans! Love to see it, teh crowd is going crazy. What a come back.

Pitch 2: Another fastball at 86 mph. China watches it go by. "Ball one."
Pitch 3: Italy delivers a slider at 80 mph. China connects and sends a grounder to first base at 98 mph. Romano fields it cleanly and steps on first. "Out number three!" They're finally out of that inning. It was brutal on both sides fielding wise.
End of the Eighth Inning:
Tsunami Titans: 5 runs, 5 hits, 1 error
Tsunami Titans lead 11-10
We're moving on to inning 9 that's the final inning and then we will crown the victor.

Stevie’s Lil’ Sis Part 4
(Part 3)
~~———————————————————~~
Y/N's POV
I can't believe that six years later I get to call this beautiful woman my wife. It's been four years of bliss with her. From our first date to the proposal, it has been a whirlwind.
——————————————————————
1st Date
"Natty" ... "Where are we going?"
"For the fifth time, it's a surprise." She replied with a chuckle
"Ugh, fine...." I whined as we pulled into a parking lot full of cars and in the distance I saw bright lights.
"No freaking way!" I shrieked as I realized she brought me to a carnival. I was thrilled, I've never been to one in my almost 100 years of life. I grabbed onto her hand and started to run pulling her along. We played the games, and I surprisingly did well and I won her a cute little unicorn. She scoffed playfully, but by the look in her eye I could tell she loved it. This dating thing was new to both of us so all these firsts were ours to experience together. We went on so many rides, enjoyed unhealthy fair snacks together, and had a total blast. We even shared our first relationship kiss on the ferris wheel, cliche—I know. As far as first dates go, I think it was a success.
1st I Love You
Natty was away on a two week mission and was expected to be back today. We've shared a room since about three months into the relationship. We had spent most nights together anyways. I knew she'd be tired so I wanted to do something special for her. I went shopping for some essentials, aka: Candles, Massage oils, and loads of her favorite snacks. I also purchased us some comfy PJ's so we could match. It's now 7PM and she's due in an hour. I've been cooking her favorite soup dish all day, and it's seemingly done. So I'm off to prepare the room. I laid out the selection of goodies for her on the bed and lit a lavender candle to make sure the room was set for a calm evening. I set the bathroom up with a plush robe and as I was finishing up Friday alerted me that they were five minutes out. I immediately ran to the loading bay and awaited their arrival. Stevie walked out first and I enveloped my big bro in a hug. I quickly removed myself from him as I saw my clearly exhausted girlfriend deplaning. I approached her slowly and pulled her into a tight, but gentle hug.
"Are you okay Natty? Any serious injuries? Do we need Bruce?" I calmly panicked—as if that's an actual thing
She rested her forehead on mine, and locked her eyes with mine.
"I'm fine, just some minor bumps and bruises."
With that response I grabbed her bag, and then drug her to our room. I took her straight to the restroom where a warm bath awaited her. I helped her remove her suit, and left her there to soak.
I ran downstairs and threw some of the soup into bowls, setting the prepared tray on out end table.
"Hello love, are you ready to get out?"
She hummed in response, then she gave me a content smile and a head nod.
I opened her robe for her and she climbed out and into it. I then guided her to the bed.
"Hey baby, can you drop your robe off your shoulders and lay down for me on your stomach please ?"
She did exactly as I asked, and laid down in a calm trance. I pulled her robe down to reveal her back, leaving her lower half covered. I poured the massage oil into my hands, then starting at her shoulders I began to roll out her knots. I slowly made my way down the full length of her back, pulling moans and grunts every time she felt some relief. When I was done I gently kissed her shoulders, then tapped her.
"Roll over for me please love."
I kissed her lips softly and pulled away to stare into her eyes. I smiled a goofy smile down at her and she smiled back at me. She reached her hand up to tuck my hair behind my ears so she could see my face. She cupped my cheeks then pulled me back in for another kiss, this one slightly more passionate. As we pulled back, both of us breathless, I couldn't help the bright smile that appeared on my face.
"I love you!" Nat whispers out while maintaining eye contact.
My face contorted into shock, but my smile quickly returned.
"I love you too!" I whisper back while ghosting my lips over hers. I pecked her lips then I got off her, throwing her PJ's to her, much to her dismay as she whined. Then I changed into mine as well, then swiftly pulled her off the bed to eat at our makeshift table. The night was full of laughter, stolen kisses, lots of cuddles and endless I love you's.
1st Mission Injury
"SHIT! Y/N, Nat's going to kill me!" Clint shouts out while applying pressure to my wound.
"I love that out of Steve, Bucky and Nat you're most scared of her." I giggle, then wince right after.
"Those two have a godly moral code, so worst they'll do is yell at me. Nat's a good person—great even—but she'll do anything if it comes to you. Even if that meant killing me." He lightheartedly mutters out
"Well, she can kill the hydra agent that did this to me. Oh, wait—mission accomplished, I already did it."
"You're losing it... Stay with me, okay! No dying is allowed." Clint shouts as he gets the jet off the ground.
"Just going to take a little nap, wake me up when we get back".
~ ~ ~
"Clint who gives a fuck Barton!" Nat shouts from across the compound
She knows
Clint just got me fixed up in the medbay and Nat's already hot on his trail.
"Quick!! The vents.." I whisper in a dazed giggle
He scurried into the vent just five seconds shy of Nat's entry. She had been in a meeting when we landed so we left her in the dark. I guess an hour after we arrived she found out, she overheard some lower level agents who just couldn't stay quiet...
"Hello to you, the absolute love of my life." I giggle at her and bat my eyes.
"Not now detka, I must find Barton and then torture him for not protecting you well enough." She seethes out
"Nattyyyyy, I can protect myself, it's not his job. Stop being a silly little goose." I say with a boop to her nose.
"He gave you the good stuff huh?" She laughs out completely unable to stay mad with me in this state.
"Yeah, he's a good makeshift nurse. Instead of torturing him, why don't you make him dress as a 'slutty' nurse for Tony's Halloween party? That can be his 'punishment.'" I reply wiggling my brows and giving her a devious grin.
"I love the way you think detka!" She smiles while leaning down to kiss me.
"Hear that Clint? I don't have to kill you, you can come down now!" She shouts while hitting the vents.
"Ow." He grumbled as he hits his head.
~~~
Natty took me to "her" room and as I drifted off she prompted me to get into comfier clothes. Then she hopped into bed, and gently pulled me into her embrace.
"No more missions for two months"
"What? No..." I grumble
"You got shot, this isn't a debate. I'm serious." She growls while tightening her grip on me.
"Clint's right. You are scary." I giggle
She laughed in response, then kissed my forehead.
"Only when I have to be! Now, get some rest. I love you detka."
"I love you too, Natty." I mumble sleepily while burying my face into her neck.
1st Anniversary
With Nat and I being new to relationships we didn't really know how these things worked. So Nat sought help from Wanda and I from Steve, the compounds resident hopeless romantics.
Steve helped me to set up a fancy dinner in the vacant meeting room. Bucky agreed to be our faux waiter, and Steve was the chef. I put on a V-neck blouse, and I tucked it into my skirt that stopped above my knees. I walked to Natty's room and knocked on the door. I patiently waited there with a dozen black and red roses and a stupid lovesick grin.
She opened the door, and oh my God she looked absolutely stunning!
"H-hey Nat, Happy one year anniversary! Would you please accompany me to dinner?" I fumble out, but I think I ended on a strong note.
"Happy one year detka! Are those for me?" She asks pointing to the roses in my hand.
"Oh, yeah... Here!" I shove them into her face causing her to chuckle at my nervousness.
"Thank you, they're beautiful." She says while placing a kiss to my cheek.
She placed the roses into a vase on her bedside table then she reached her hands out to me.
"Shall we?" She questions and I guide her to the beautifully decorated meeting room.
I pull her seat out for her, then I scoot her in, then take my seat.
"Good evening ladies, can I interest you in a glass of our y/f/w?" Bucky asks, playing the part.
"Why yes, thank you!" I giggle
He pours the wine, and leaves to get our appetizer. Steve fixed us guacamole for an appetizer, then he made steak with all the fixings for the entree, and for dessert we were served fondue with fruits and cakes.
As we finished up the dessert we were sat in a comfortable silence. I looked up to see Nat was already staring at me. As we locked eyes she gave me her signature smirk and reached her hand out to me.
"My turn!"
"Lead the way!"
She took me to my room, told me to change, and said she'll be back shortly. I walk in to see she had Wanda leave me a pair of her sweats and her hoodie. She returned fifteen minutes later in similar clothes and with a blindfold. She placed it on me, then scooped me up bridal style and ran us to our next location—the roof.
Wanda had helped Nat set the roof up for a comfy movie night. There was a projector and screen set up. Then there was a swinging bed with loads of blankets there to keep us warm.
As we were on our second movie I noticed Natty was falling asleep. So I turned the movie off, rolled over and pulled her head down onto my chest. She snuggled into me and let out a content sigh.
"This was a great first anniversary! Remind me to thank Steve and Wanda for us." Natty mumbled into my neck.
"It's already done love. I had goodie baskets put together and left them in their rooms."
"You're just perfect, it's unfair." She whined
"Life's unfair." I laughed before we fell into a comfortable silence.
I lifted her chin to place a soft kiss upon her lips, then I tucked her back into me.
"Goodnight my love." ... "Goodnight baby."
Proposal
On our third anniversary Nat had planned everything, informing me to not even lift a finger. She, with the help of Tony, rented a personal section of the beach so we could be alone. She set up a picnic, we ate finger foods prepared by Wands, drink fancy wine, and just watched the sunset. I was seated in Nat's lap, my back to her front, and she had her arms protectively wrapped around me.
"Baby, dance with me." Nat whispers into my ear
"What?"
"Dance with me!" She repeats standing up, pulling me up with her.
We danced around with an airpod in one ear each.
It was a medley of songs...
"I Knew I Loved You" by Savage Garden began to play.
"I think I dreamed you into life,
I knew I loved you before I met you,
I have been waiting all my life"
"Two is Better Than One" by Boys Like Girls featuring Taylor Swift was next
“But there's so much time to figure out the rest of my life, and you've already got me coming undone. And I'm thinking two is better than one.
I remember every look upon your face, the way you roll your eyes, the way you taste. You make it hard for breathing"
Next up was "Amazed" by Lonestar
"I don't know how you do what you do, I'm so in love with you. It just keeps getting better, I wanna spend the rest of my life, with you by my side. Forever and ever, every little thing that you do. Baby, I'm amazed by you"
I was so obliviously happy I didn't predict what was coming. I was listening intently to the lyrics, soaking them up, while Nat spun me around. Then the next song came on.
"Marry Me" by Train
As the song played she held me close, swaying us around the beach. As it was nearly ending she spun me out letting go of my hand.
"Promise me, you'll always be, happy by my side. I promise to, sing to you, when all the music dies.
Marry me!"
As I caught myself I turn to see Natty on one knee, on the verge of tears, with a ring in her hand.
"Y/N, I'm not a big speech kind of girl, and I'm also not that good with expressing myself. With you I don't have to be though, you give me all the space I need to make mistakes. You've loved me through every wall you had to breakdown. You always tell me I saved you, but baby girl it's you that saved me. I never thought I'd find love, and when I met you something inside me immediately knew you were special. I was never really afraid to let some of my guard down with you. You were like this perfectly shaped puzzle piece that I didn't even realize I was missing, you just fit so perfectly with me. Once I had you everything clicked. I love you Y/N, with all my heart. I want this, I want us to be forever.
Y/N Y/M/N Rogers, will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?"
I stare back at her in awe, tears nonstop flowing.
"Of course I'll marry you!" I squealed, tackling her before she can get up. We hit the sand in fits of laughter. She slips the ring on my finger, then rolls us in the sand, pinning me beneath her, then she leans in as we shared a salty, sweet kiss.
—————————————————————
"Y/N, thank you for being my angel in disguise. I never imagined walking into Fury's office six years ago would lead to the beginning of the rest of my life. I was drawn to you instantly, and I knew after the first visit to Wakanda that I was destined to fall. Watching you go from being afraid of a handshake, to not even being able to go five minutes without a hug or cuddles has been a highlight for me. You let me in, and you have loved me so well. I've never once doubted us, and I can't wait for the rest of our lives. I love you so much detka!"
"Natasha, I just want to thank you, for the patience you've shown me. You're not known by many for your gentleness, but it's all you've ever shown me. You put your faith in me when I was broken, you truly did save me. You never treated me differently though, you just knew how to read me, and took cues easily. Having known you for six years, and having been able to love you intimately for the last four of those has been my biggest accomplishment.
I love you, with all of me, and I can't wait to officially be yours forever after today." I choke out, looking up to see her trying her damndest to hold it together.
"Natasha Romanoff, do you take Y/N to be your loftily wedded wife, to have and to hold, 'til death do you part?"
"I do"
"Y/N Rogers, do you take Natasha to be your loftily wedded wife, to have and to hold, 'til death do you part?"
"I do"
—————————————————————
2,769 words ... This bonus part ended up being pretty long lol. I hope you guys enjoy it 🥰
the reasons to play The Legend Of Heroes Trails Of Cold Steel 1 & 2
I often hear people saying that j-rpgs are not there and then they say Persona 5 and the best j-rpg in recent years (which I do not even believe Persona 5 and the best since Persona 4 Golden has been called the best but once played I was deeply disappointed and therefore I do not trust the fifth chapter)
I have played a lot of j-rpg that and my favorite genre and I've known the famous series as Final fantasy and kingdom hearts and series little known as tales of and YS but a series that impressed me all but not just from ' but my heart that will remain forever in my heart was the series of the legend of heroes that then my first game of this series was The Legend Of Heroes Trails In The Sky
in this chapter available for PSP, PSVITA and PC (I played it on the PSP) was an important discovery to approach this series starting with the whole developer house is called the Falcom who are the creators of the beautiful YS series that has allowed me to approach of this series and I then started playing and I spent so many hours of this The Legend Of Heroes I liked the characters, the story, the combat system that gave me so much satisfaction that I have not been long time with of the bosses to beat, the setting and above all the music that Falcom makes the wonderful soundtracks that are truly unforgettable and I never stumble upon hearing the game really got me and I still got to the final of this first chapter
during the finale I was breathless with such a finale and since I saw the queues I said, "I want to come out of his second chapter with such a finale must go out immediately" and I argue that I longed for the second chapter and finally came out and I play it and what I was one that I would never have expected to have in my hands a similar masterpiece
The Legend of Heroes Trails In The Sky SC (or Chapter Two) was a lightning strike in the sky because not only could you continue the story of this chapter but also improved and completely eliminated the defects I had seen in the first chapter making it even more incredible to play but above all one of the most incredible and phenomenal plots in recent years I would never have expected such a diamond and I just tell you that for me to talk about the second chapter it is difficult for me to talk about why there are really but really many things to say about this I am still a masterpiece and the best j-rpg in the last few years that I find it hard to find such a diamond of this amazing game and when I finished it I really had a lot of emotions to play it and then I still call it a masterpiece and the best j-rpg level and I said "and it is impossible to find a title to overcome it unless the creators will bring us a new chapter in this saga" and in fact have f act The Legend Of Heroes Trails of Cold Steel 1 & 2 for PS3, PSVITA and PC and also one of the reasons for having bought my PSVITA <3
The Legend Of Heroes Trails Of Cold Steel and managed to overcome it to Trails In The Sky (but Trails In The Sky remains forever a masterpiece <3) and I was bewitched by this chapter that I would do a book for the reasons to play this saga really you have to buy absolutely and a series that will remain forever in the heart and also in mine <3
then I say thank you to the Falcom for making me discover this wonderful saga and also the XSEED for translating and bringing to everyone how much thank you and I wait for the next The Legend Of Heroes <3
Now, it's Russia, number 27, playing catcher. He's already had a big hit tonight and drove in a run for his team let's see if he can advance Italy a base or two.
Japan vs. Italy:
Pitch 3: Italy delivers a slider at 80 mph. China connects and sends a grounder to first base at 98 mph. Romano fields it cleanly and steps on first. "Out number three!" Looks like they had some words there. China is just shaking his head and heading back to the dug out. Taking the high ground is what you have to do with Romano. A reaction is really all he's looking for out there. If you give him an inch he'll take a mile.
End of the Seventh Inning:
Tsunami Titans: 0 runs, 1 hit, 0 errors
Tsunami Titans lead 6-5
And that will wrap up the seventh inning. Looks like the position switch in the infield was just what Japan's team needed to get a handle on America and his crew. We'll be back with teh eighth inning. Hopefully the teams can make something happen out there.
