⚡ (Leighla and Colby)

               Leighla continued to scowl as Colby continued to test the spirits of the blessed holiday by continuously walking under ladders, past black cats and even jokingly breaking a hand held mirror. She had no idea why he kept testing the fates this way, but Leighla tried her hardest to forget abut what her boyfriend was doing and hand out candy each time their doorbell rang. As the night wore on though, she could hear low rumbles of thunder and see faraway flashes of lightning, and something eventually settled into the pit of her stomach.

               Closing the door one last time, she looks towards the clock and is surprised to find it striking midnight, realizing the last few groups of trick or treaters she had been giving candy to had been teenagers. With a loud crack, Leighla jumps, hand resting on her heart as a clump of flashes go throughout the room, and the power turns off, her scowl deepening when she hears her boyfriend cackle as another mirror breaks. This is all his fault, she thinks, turning around and stalking towards him, pushing him lightly as a small amount of fear begins to bubble to the surface of her emotions. / @wickedwyrms​ sent in an oddly specific humorous halloween starter (accepting)
