▬▬▬ ☆      Roxanne looks to Yakko,  concern  on  her  face.  Was  Yakko  implying  that  he  wasn’t  a  good  person?  That  confused  her.  Yakko  always  seemed  so  good  -  the  oldest  of  his  siblings  &&  always  doing  his  best  to  take  care  of  them  (  she  thought  he  was  doing  an  outstanding  job  too!  ).  So  to  hear  that  --  she  didn’t  understand.

“ alright, alright! quit your whinin’. c’mere, ”  the mink rolls her eyes as she gives in to the younger toon’s over-the-top performance of utter dejection.  is she a sucker, or what?  the next season’s reboot was just around the corner and minerva made the mistake on vising the old lot. most definitely to try and bribe a producer into getting a part,  and not to check up on the kids or anything,  get out. 

now yakko here was insistent he needed a little  ‘good luck kiss’  before going back out there,  and then proceeded to give a sob story when she showed hesitation.  lightly squishing yakko’s cheeks with her hands,  she lowers his head and gives a small peck on the kid’s forehead.

He's gotta say, he's honored to meet the guy. Walking off on a school field trip didn't usually get him into such wild situations, but hey, he had no complaints. This was far better than a lecture on the production of Batman Vs. Superman.

OKAY I SEE U

Okay so I assume Yakko has a sneaking suspicion why him and FM sound so similar... y’know. Fourth wall breaking and all that. But FM himself is beyond confused about it. It kind of annoys him that Yakko can do a perfect impression.

Another thing that annoys FM. Yakko isn’t too much taller, but the Warner rubs it in his face a lot, the few extra inches.

Yakko is the first boy who ever flirted with him. It makes him feel... weird.

FM has been able to get a lot of his fellow toons to drop an F bomb or something like that... but Yakko seems staunchly against it. He’s too stubborn, or stuck up? Or prudish? Fowlmouth really wants to see if he can get him to do it.

Brain knows what Yakko means, but that doesn't stop him from responding literally. Or maybe more sarcastically- there is a small smile threatening his composure.

     he feels to small to be answering these questions, too weak of mind and body and spirit. the holy trinity of feeling shitty. inside himself he can feel his organs fighting to survive for the barest essentials of function; he can’t be bothered with form. and now he had to pick one to live and one to die. hypothetically of course. it was always hypothetical. 

     trouble comes in twos. 

     his mouth opens, then closes, then opens again. hands fidget with the glass in front of him. bourbon that he knows he isn’t going to drink. it just felt like the right thing to have in front of him. these kinds of things usually involved drinking, didn’t they? 

     when he opens his mouth for the third time, sound comes out and for a moment it seems to surprise even him.

     amber liquid covers the counter as his shaking hands toss the glass from his lips before another sip can be taken. his head rests in his hands, then on the counter with a thunk, muffled only by the splat of liquid.

        ara had been wandering the warner lot for a while -- she shouldn’t really be back here ( and she ignored MANY employees who tried to escort her ), but ara was on a mission ! she didn’t stop to consider anything until she spotted something she hadn’t seen since she was younger -- ❝ yakko ? i-i’ve found you at last ! ❞ she breathes out a bit a smile forming widely on her face,  ❝ it’s been ages ! ❞ she said, clasping her hands in front of her as she stops in front of the toon.
