The night was young, the music was rad, and the crowd was pretty wild. Dina hadn’t been to a night club in ages, and just being able to walk into one and buy herself drinks and dance on the floor had resulted in quite the consumption of alcohol and almost two hours spent simply dancing her ass off. She’d left a note for Kai, hoping he would see it when he got home and join her, though she didn’t mind being on her own. Being brand free and without shackles for the first time in years and years was a dream come true.
The magic ended when a guy twice her size bumped into her on the floor, his weight causing her to fall. Once the halfling got back up, she was growling, her eyes flashing as she grabbed the guy by the shoulder and slapped him hard. “What the hell man! Asshole!” The guy looked at her with fury of his own, lounging without much of a thought it seemed. Dina’s reflexes kicked into gear as she evaded the male, as they began a whole different dance, alerting several others who drew back, forming a circle around the two in the middle of the floor, some calling for security. Dina had just delivered a gut punch to her adversary when she heard a familiar voice call her name. Kai.. “Little busy right now Kai.” she called, kicking out again, not caring that the very large guy was coming at her again and again.

set: november 28th, saturday afternoon location: ama - museum of art availability: closed | @kaidemir
Mornings at the studio over Saturdays caused Laurel to be swamped by work, going through routines with her students and appreciating all the effort they were putting into every movement for performance they’d go through by the end of the year. Heading back home and taking a long shower, watching a comfort movie while eating. Small actions throughout her day that gave her a good start for that weekend, knowing pretty well that soon everything could be different. Full moons would often cause drastic shifts in her days, and she couldn’t help but worry about what would happen next, what Beaver Moon would offer her. So, instead of allowing her thoughts to consume her. Laurel grabbed her car keys, and drove herself out of her apartment heading to the museum, since the witch heard about a new exhibition there. She’d treat the Saturday prior to the full moon’s peak as a common day for herself.
Parking her car somewhat close to the entrance, Laurel was ready to leave and attempted to focus on big striders that would lead her inside the museum, when she noticed a familia figure. Or maybe she was just imagining him. It had been so long, how could it possibly be? Yet, she moved outside of the car and caused her tone to be louder than usual: “Kai?”

who: @harringtcnx when: few days after game night. where: stairway leading to rooftop.
Pocketing the roach of her impromptu, midday blunt, Rhiannon spritzed herself with her jasmine-scented perfume. She hurried to the entrance to the rooftop, not wanting to be present lest some noisy security came investigating the stench of her weed. She stifled a cough, hurrying down the stairway leading up to the rooftop. Her eyes focused on her feet, learning from the last time she had taken a tumble after moving quicker than her feet were able to catch the stairs. Yet, she had not considered the possibility of body slamming someone on her descent. The impact caused her to bounce back, her hand flying out in an attempt to catch the railing. “Oh, God. I’m so sorry,” she immediately started pleading, her cheeks heating up as her eyes lifted to the other’s face. Rhia’s embarrassment only increased when she saw Kai’s face, her hand lifted to cover her mouth as her cheeks reddened. “Fuck, you made of stone or something, dude?” she exclaimed, recovering her balance and stepping back from him. “I should’ve been looking where I was going,” she lamented, her eyes averting from Kai’s face as she attempted to calm herself.
