"Well well well, aren't you a witty girl?" hummed The Horned One, visibly amused by her comment. He studied her for a moment, like one would look at a particularly entertaining animal at the zoo. Then, He sat down at the table, like He was an invited guest.

"How can you be sure that I'm not just savoring the moment? Kids these days, you're always in a rush," He tutted, shaking His head in a strange imitation of fatherly disappointment.

"So, tell Me, sweetheart. If you know so much, do you know who I am? Come on, don't be shy. I won't bite."

One thing I've been having a lot of fun playing with recently in regards to Caoimhe is just... How her personality and presentations change situationally?

Growing up as a twin, a lot of labels applied to her were just... Comparative. The sister of the two of them. The feminine twin, and then the masculine twin once her and Cian discovered the joys of gender nonconformity. (That's also why she dresses on the masculine side of womanswear at the moment. It wouldn't feel right, to her, dressing fully in men's clothes when he's not there in his dresses and skirts beside her.) Always the grounded one, painfully practical in comparison to Cian's daydreaming.

But with the stuff I've been doing for feast of the rose, it's... Strange. Drawing her in a men's suit, smiling and happy. Letting her be outgoing and personable and lighthearted for once. It's how she might have been if Cian hadn't died.

I think this might be the only time she can allow herself that, because it's the only time he still feels alive. Like he could be just around the corner, masked and dancing too, waiting to tell her all about the time he's had.

Living Room

[[The living room is not very big. The crowning glory is a ratty, awfully colored loveseat that Caoimhe got at a criminally low price. It's gaudy, faded, and came with two pillows that used to be eye-burning orange. It's comfortable, at least. They fall asleep on it every so often.]]
