What if rwby was made by famous manga and anime writers.

I had this idea in the shower so I'm going to mention at least 3 writers. If you have more ideas, you can write them on reblog.

I point my finger at rwby's entire character cast.

Only 4 of you would be left alive in the hands of this monster. And I'm talking about experience Ruby would still continue as the protagonist, however Yang and Blake die and Weiss has her mind and body stolen by Salem(Sukuna).

But on the bright side we can see Satoru Ozpin's fight against Weisalem, and then Jaune Zenin and Ruby to fight against Salem's true form and in the end Oscar Okkotsu appears. Now I'm going to keep quiet because it would be a spoiler for the manga currently.

Tatsuki Fujimoto

Well if you like yuri congratulations fujimoto knows how to write this, However it would start very calmly for things to only get worse, it would literally start with rwby and end with ruby ​​being the only survivor with a child version of salem. At least part 2 would be Jaune the protagonist and going through what Asa suffers.

And this is a bad side of some stories written by Fujimoto, but there is sexual harassment in these works…

Seriously, Kentaro Miura is an artist and has incredible writing and made a great piece of work. I can see him doing a story that would be quite interesting in RWBY. I hope he is enjoying being eternally happy and happy with the legacy he leaves on earth.

Favorite | Fakhri Man'tik Obviously I'm biased because he's the one I currently main. But I do believe that, with every new character, I learn something or 'get better' (even if I have 25+ years of RP experience) and Fakhri is something very new for me to RP. His personality alone but also his overall view on life and how he went through it. He's definitely the one that allows me the most freedom, not even being afraid of the ridicule, which can play a big part. He's also provocative, inciting reactions from others or dragging them into a scene.

Oldest | Katsuro Wakahisa Katsuro was 'born' in The Secret World back in 2015 and I brought him with me in other games, FFXIV being the latest and possibly where his story ends? Who knows! He's more typical yakuza archetype and very hard to RP because he lacks empathy and fucks to give. He also is very reserved and extremely disciplined, which makes it hard to introduce him into new situations or places.

Newest | Fakhri Man'tik If that wasn't obvious by now :p

Meanest | Katsuro Wakahisa I mean, can you do meaner than an assassin and serial killer with a lack of empathy... Not that he doesn't have his good side but you have to find it, or let him drop his guard, which frankly rarely happens. He's painfully direct and doesn't care how people feel or what they think about him. To be honest, Fakhri can also be painfully direct and not give a shit... but he's far less stoic and his overall attitude is more prone to make him look like an ass. Guess that balance it all a bit.

Softest | Yuu Fujimoto He's my irezumi master, and he's a big dork. Oh he sure can fight, having trained under Doman monks all his childhood, but then he went on an apprenticeship to become a tattoo master and managed to make a living out of his passion and really, he never loved to fight. He sings like a battery of casseroles someone dropped on the floor but his energy at karaoke is infectious, as well as his smile.

Most Aloof/Standoffish | Dr. Thanos [Lux] Caius Despite caring about people's wellbeing in general, he's an intellectual and will prefer his books instead of talking to people. If you say something stupid, you can bet he's looking at you with a judgmental gaze. He has very little tolerance for stupidity, verrryyy little.

Dumbest (Affectionate) | Luula [GW2] I rarely make dumb characters unless they're disposable NPCs. Luula was an exception. She was Asura in GW2. For those who know the game, I can hear you say "But aren't they the most intelligent and advanced of the races?" Well yes, but you see Luula's mother had an accident when her daughter was but a baby still in her belly and... poor Luula was born with some... problems. This obviously resulted with her being shunned from the Asura society and ending up as a ranger (she has a big bear) travelling the world. People really loved her, she was cute and silly.

Dumbest (Derogatory) | Ren Yasui He was essentially a NPC and your typical muscles without a brain archetype. He didn't have a presence in game, as I never made the character, but instead was featured in a few short stories all part of The Cursed Hand narrative. a campaign that stretched over 2 years.

Smartest | Dr. Thanos [Lux] Caius I guess this makes him somewhat hard to RP because I definitely don't have his intellect XD nor his immense knowledge in medicine.

Horniest | Fakhri Man'tik Most of my characters being NPCs, their level of horniness is simply inexistent. As for those I did/do roleplay, I'd say their libido is quite mild. Katsuro is possibly the worse, since he's demi-sexual, his sexual drive linked to actually loving the person. My 'leader' characters [Ujitoshi Hagane and Hikmat Shah] are both asexual. Other characters are old and not interested in that anymore [Sun Hyeon] and some, while not asexual, are either no longer interested or never truly were that much [Dr. Caius who prefers knowledge to people and Yuu who had a wife, with whom he had a daughter, they got divorced and now he's early 50s with a teenager, working his dream job and content in life.] Which leaves us with Fakhri, who's just your normal guy, really. He enjoys sex as much as the guy next door but can go without for long periods as well. So he isn't a horny machine, just a very normal man.

Character You'd Bang | Fakhri Man'tik Mainly because he's a very respectful and caring lover. He doesn't have a type, doesn't have any expectations and won't shame anyone for being clumsy or inexperienced.

Character You'd Be RL Besties With | Yuu Fujimoto As tempted I am to say Fakhri, he may be too 'loud' and disruptive on occasions for me irl. Yuu, on the other hand, is calm yet knows how to have fun. He's also an artist, which I can relate to. So we'd totally be showing each other our new drawings and whatnot. He's also hard working and respectful, but won't let others step over him either.

Three days later finds Ren laying on his back in the observatory on the highest floor of the Sunshine 60 skyscraper, enjoying both the view and the little green the artificial grass provided. Arsene is sitting next to him, clad in more comfortable-looking clothes than his battle gear, paging through a booklet one of Futaba's lackeys had given them. Mitsuhiko, or something. After a whirlwind of a first day, being over-run by much more people he knew than expected -- along with his remaining thieves, some of his confidantes had made it to the Sunshine City: Takemi, Iwai and Kaoru, Yoshida and Lala-san. And Sojiro, thankfully, who'd also given Ren a bear hug once they met.

(If he was crying, then no-one but the two of them needed to know.)

Apparently Sae and Hifumi were holed up in another community with a handful of acquaintances that Futaba's made, their group having split apart or been forced to. The Sunshine City has established something of a working electrical grid with solar panels and a handful of workers and engineers who knew their way around, aided by a few shadows. The rooftops and most of the space between the buildings has been converted into gardens, some floors had been turned into pens for chickens and other poultry, and even an in-door aquarium has become a breeding ground for schools of fish. There were dedicated people who maintained them to provide food. It was quite the contrast to Ren's usual hunter-gatherer approach, but he couldn't exactly go hunting for fowl in the city, so he supposed it made sense.

Keeping everyone and everything in order was no easy task, though, considering that the settlement had something close to six hundred people of all shapes and sizes -- an incredible number. Apparently Sojiro had been shoehorned into a position of power in the beginning, up until Toshiro Kasukabe and Erina -- Eri Natsuhara -- arrived with members of the actual Tokyo MPD, who quickly created order amongst Futaba's well-intended chaos gremlin survival mode Sunshine City's had going. His thieves had been able to wrangle order into the first month of the apocalypse, and Inspector Megure of the MPD seemed to mostly defer to the thieves' expertise when it came to the shadow-related part of the settlement. Futaba had ended up working with the local engineers who'd barricaded themselves in, found once they arrived, setting up the power grid while the other Thieves had continued to fan out and support nearby settlements.

(Interesting for Ren was the settlement Sae Niijima was stuck in, all the way in Ekoda with quite a few other familiar faces, and Sunshine City and Ekoda's main settlement were officially allied, Makoto and Yusuke commuting between the two with resources every month or so.)

Ren's already met the (self-)appointed leaders of the settlement: next to Juzo Megure, Ninzaburo Shiroatori and Miwako Sato from the police had stepped up. Asahise Kato along with Takemi as the medical representative, Riko Fujimoto, Haru and Kuki-Hime as representatives of the workers. Toranosuke Yoshida and Toshiro Kasukabe were chosen for the politicians, with Erina, Junpei Iori, Yatagarasu and Futaba as the voices of the regular people, human and shadow alike. Sojiro, to Ren's amusement, bowed out of a leadership role the second other people became available, though he apparently sometimes crashes into the meetings to support the workers.  

Out of those people Junpei Iori stands out as another persona user, of Hermes Trismegistus, who is a baseball coach for a little league and who, more importantly, managed to set up Futaba with his navigator friend Yamagishi, all the way in Tatsumi Port Island in the north. The two navigators could talk with some difficulty over a relay channel, and Yamagishi was their only intel on what was going on in the northern part of the country, though some of the other emergent persona users inside Tokyo were navigators as well, all of them in some form of contact. They had no idea about the south, until Ren started to relay what he could about the land and the people, and going over a map revealed that the influence of nature on -everything sunk exponentially the closer one was to Tokyo. They didn't know if this meant that Tokyo was the epicenter or not, but it was good to know.

More importantly: Juzo Megure was Zenkichi's contact in the city, and the older inspector had hugged Ren once he'd heard that Zenkichi was doing well. Which also lead them to today's agenda:

With a sigh, Ren stood up from his resting place, brushing over his lighting scar, the skin feeling numb from whatever salve Takemi made him apply. It was supposed to soften down the harsh edges, smooth out the pattern. "Are you ready, pigeon?" Ren asks, Arsene falling into line next to him. Hm? He asks, even while they make their way down from the observatory to the communications office a few floors below. Pongo greets them, the dalmatian-shaped shadow one of the heads behind the noise-based morse communication before he let Futaba take over, many other dog-shaped shadows acting as relay and messengers akin to the angels of the Choir.

Fitted to their electrical grid is Arsene's little handheld radio, merrily blinking away. They'd long lost the frequency this far away from the Bay, though Necronomicon had promised that it'd try and boost the signal, so here they were; later Megure, Shiratori and Futaba would join them, but for now Arsene was trying to fine-tune the thing. Pongo stayed next to them, head tilted in interest, and Ren really had to keep himself in check before he did something as disrespectful as pet the shadow's head. Or boop the shadow's nose. Pongo eyes him, expression deadpan.

"You would not be the first to simply touch me," he says. "I look enough like a common dog that it keeps happening."

"I'm sorry," Ren flushes. Pongo tilts his head, but his tail's wagging, so Ren seems forgiven. The others arrive shortly after, crowding around Arsene while he turns the dial to reach get rid of the noise. They start talking, and then Ayumi Yoshida enters the room with furrowed brows.

"Ai-chan's sent a message from Ekoda--" she says, and suddenly everyone's attention is on her, even Arsene's. "Yusuke-kun's requested to go back because they've been getting more fire-affinity infected again, and Naoto-kun's uncertain if they'll manage on their own. Ai-chan also says that Professor Agasa wants to send over some prototypes for the reworked stunners."

(No relation to his Sun, despite their shared surname.)

"...stunners?" Ren asks, interested, shelving everything else for later.

Ayumi-san nods; she's only a few years younger than him, two or three, maybe. "Yeah. Amamiya-kun, was it? Professor Agasa and Ai-chan are working on weapons that are effective against the infected shadows specifically -- he's designed a watch that's able to dispense narcolepsy-inducing needles, and the design's started to be updated over the past few months." She shows her own watch, a rather bulky thing. "They saved our lives in the past, so the professor started refining them once everything calmed down some. Now they work more like short-term stunners. " She smiles, grimly. "Shooting at a mutated with a dart doesn't alert other nearby ones, so it's objectively safer. The watch is one of a handful of power-enhancing accessories of his."

Ren stares, but it is Arsene that speaks up next, voice reluctant, hand dragging over the casing of the handheld radio. "...if the settlement in Ekoda has any shadows with access to attacks such a Dream Needle --" He flexes his own wings, ready to continue, when the radio static clears:

Everyone falls silent, even Ayumi-san crowding into the room and closing the door, eyes fixed on the radio like a hungry cat. Arsene turns back to it with a frown. I accidentally turned the dial, this shouldn't be the Tsu frequency, he murmurs. Ren shrugs. The voice is still overlaid by static, but it could be Cassandra. "This is Ren and Arsene; we've arrived safely in Tokyo, and I've made contact with Inspector Megure."

>>Tokyo--!<< The voice balks. It falls silent for a moment, before continuing. >>...this is Richard Atkins of the OH:MU cross-communication and surveillance channel. As Above, So Below - It's Just the Heat

Chapter 4

It’s a hot, humid summers day, making it very hard to study. The building doesn’t have aircon or fans so the windows are open all the way in hopes it’ll cool the room down. I’ve got a few damp face washers in the fridge to go on our foreheads to cool us down. It doesn’t do much but it’s still something. I’ve also given up on being dressed properly; just above knee long shorts and a sports bra. “How are you hot? You’re from Australia.” Yukio puzzles “Yeah, Australia. Not hell” I joke back ‘It’s a humid heat and I’m from the Blue Mountains not Wogga Wogga. Heat still gets to me.’ I takes a few seconds to clock Yukio’s confused face regarding the places I mentioned. “Nevermind…” we go back to studying.

A few minutes later, Rin returns from the store with an ice block and hair pinned back. “They were sold out of everything on campus so I had to go into town- Hey…Ren” I give a playful salute “Heyo. I needed some study help.” I can’t tell if it’s because I’m partially undressed, if it’s because I’m sitting on his bed, or the heat that he’s a little red. He continues complaining about the heat and I tune them out.

“Hey Ren, you want Yukio’s ice pop? He doesn’t want it.” Rin snaps me out of focus “Oh! Uh, sure. I used to have lemonade ice blocks all the time back home. Or lifesavers. Paddle pops…ooo gay times were nice too!” The twins look puzzled by the mention of the Australian ice creams, but decide not to say anything. More time goes by and eventually the heat gets to all of us. The twins begin bickering and I just lie back onto the bed with my book over my eyes.

A loud snap and shatter snaps me upright. I’m met with a very pissed of Yukio and a very dead-meat Rin. Before I can interrupt, Yukio gets a mission call. It’s cute how Rin’s tale wags when he’s excited. When Yukio leaves, Rin and I share a look. I grab a shirt and throw it on. We are so crashing this.

“Yukio Okumura. Intermediate exorcist. First class.” “Rin Okumera and Ren Turner. Esquires. No classes.” We slip past the barrier and enter the scene. A large cat demon is standing defensively. “You Liars. You’re all liars!” He hisses. Both Rin and I can hear it. “This was our fathers familiar; a Cat Sidhe called Kuro.” Yukio explains. “He used to live in the county as a guardian of Silk Worms. He used to be worshiped in a shrine. But as things changed, he was forgotten. Not only that, his shire was demolished too. After that, he became a demon.”

The demon, Kuro, continues on his anger fuelled rampage, while the other exorcists attempt to fight it. “Liars. You’re all liars!” He continues to repeat. “What’s the situation?” Yukio asks his fellow exorcists. “We’ve tried everything. Nothings working!” She goes to to explain how Fujimoto, the twins adopted father and the previous Paladin, got Kuro as his familiar. They continue to discuss how to handle the situation. Yukio reveals a specially modified hand grenade…they’re gonna kill him.

All I can hear though, is Kuro’s poor cries. I’m dragged back behind to safely barrier with everyone else. Rin however, stays behind. He begins shouting at Kuro, “My fathers dead! He’s dead!” I start making my way towards him, not knowing what he’s getting at. The Cat Sidhe makes a run for Rin, but he stands his ground causing the two to butt heads. With Kuro on the ground, Rin walks up and starts talking.

Suddenly, Kuro is back to being a small cat and is crying. I make my way over the the two of them and sit on the pavement. “Hiya. I’m Ren. Wanna hug?” He jumps into my lap and curls up. ‘Poor little thing…it’s ok.’

We are all back at the dorm in the late afternoon. Kuro curling up to Rin’s side and me reading while resting on his other shoulder. “He likes you” Yukio comments, joining us and breaking the silence. “What’s gonna happen to him” Rin asks. “I told them he’s going to be your familiar.” “Aw that’s cute! We get a new friend.” I give Kuro a loving scratch under the chin. He goes up to Yukio’s side and grabs the grenade from him. “This smells like a present from Shiro!” Yukio opens it, to find its silver-vine sake for Kuro.

He pours some out and Kuro begins to drink it up immediately. I rub my eyes in exhaustion, accidentally using the same hand I pet Kuro with. I give myself some distance between the others before sneezing. A sneeze that popped my wings out and through my shirt. Yukio lets out a chuckle “Sorry…” I start to put them away “Wait…keep them out. If it’s more comfortable.” The heat is getting to Rin again when he says that. “…Aight then.” And I do, wrapping the left one gently around Rin so we can still be next to each other comfortably.

“Hey! Let’s have a toast to the old man.” Rin grins, holding out two small cups for him and I. “I don’t know…humans probably shouldn’t be drinking this” Yukio hesitates. “Come on, it’s just for show.” So Yukio, stupidly, caves. He pours it out, we do a toast, and Rin downs it. Immediately he’s hit with disgust at the taste. “Rin!” So out of curiosity, I down mine too. “Ren!” “Ya know…it’s not too bad.” Rin glares at me. ‘Hey, you’re half demon. I’m all heavenly, babe. Were just built different.” I wink. Yeah…the heat is definitely getting to Rin.

if you want to watch awkward, blushing, ridiculously formal adult virgins fall in love then this is the show for you. no prior knowledge of gaming required. 

cute characters and art. although a decent number of side characters (the ones in game only) don’t really contribute to moving the story along.

overall, recommended but only if you like romance and have the patience for the characters to take forever to figure it all out.

OUIJA JAPAN - Review

SYNOPSIS: Karen is an American housewife living in Japan who desperately wants to fit in with her Japanese community, although there are those who continue to make her feel like an outcast. Trying to assimilate she goes on a camping trip with the local housewives where she bows to peer pressure and plays the Kokkuri-san (the Japanese Ouija) with the other housewives, unwittingly disrespecting a local deity. What results is a battle where they are forced to fight each other in a deadly game of battle royal. A mysterious app gets installed on their phones to aid them in their battle. It offers the women tools to fight each other, which they buy with credits. But they better be careful with their spending

REVIEW: There is a rawness to Masaya Kato’s OUIJA JAPAN that is reminiscent of the exploitation films of the 70’s regardless of the contemporary cinematography and production values. The plot skims a variety of elements that includes other genre films of that period into a hybrid film that is an engaging tale of cultural clashes, supernatural focus and graphic fight sequences.

At its core, the film is the tale of Karen Fujimoto. Karen is trying to be the dutiful wife and assimilate into Japanese culture. The role and the performance feels like the character of Rosemary in “Rosemary’s Baby” in being oot for her depth and trying to fit in for her husband’s sake. In this story, the other Japanese housewives pose a threat as their welcoming invitation may not be what it seems. The plot balances a supernatural element with a tech element that is different, refreshing, and harkens back to numerous Japanese horror films dealing with school girls and tech. I felt the juxtaposition of the two cultures and that Karen is not fluent in Japanese enables the viewer more access to the drama, suspense and horror. When the action begins you can't help but think of Kinji Fukasaku’s 2000 film “Battle Royal.” Unlike that film, these characters must battle to be the sole survivor because their group has insulted a local spirit/god. There are three major players in this story, the plot does not provide much in the way of background for the other housewives in the group. It offers enough content and back story in the way of the Japanese Ouija and the supernatural elements, along with three strong characters, to sustain the viewer's interest.

For an independent film they’ve found some strong actors. Ariel Sekiya does an excellent job of carrying the film in the lead as Karen. She allows the viewer to empathize with her and her situation. As things turn deadly it’s a nice slow transformation as she must confront the deadly situation. I enjoyed the rest of the cast and they did a fine job of creating an engaging tale.

The filmmakers have nice looking locations. They do an okay job with the fight choreography. The special effects were solid. I liked the cinematography, the framing and the editing.

OUIJA JAPAN is not a studio film. It’s an independent film that does a solid job of creating a hybrid tale, gathering a talented cast in front of and behind the camera, and delivers some cool effects and solid fight scenes. It was impressive, enjoyable and entertaining. Again, it’s an exploitation film. Check your expectations and take the ride. You’ll most likely enjoy the film, especially if you’re a fan of these genres. I’m interested to see what Masaya Kato might do next, and possibly with a bit more money.

Background: Kiku doesn’t remember anything about her mother(Miho) or father(Akio).  She only knows that they left her with her aunt, Asami Ito, and vanished.  Despite that, she was still energetic and often got into trouble.  Anytime she would ask her aunt about her parents, the subject would be changed or she would be asked to help prepare dinner.  Kiku never understood why, and refused to give up until she got an answer.

When she was 10, she overheard her aunt talking to a neighbor about it.  Kiku came to discover that her parents had never planned to have a kid.  When they found out they would be having one, they had panicked.  After Kiku had been bored, they left her in a basket outside of her aunt’s home and fled the village in the middle of the night.  Some of the villagers had speculated that they had been eaten by a demon, and some believed they were still alive somewhere.

Kiku never told her aunt about what she heard and kept a smile on her face.  She continued to play with the other village kids like nothing has happened.  Whenever her aunt was making dinner, she was quick to offer her assistance.  Her aunt never questioned it, and Kiku felt relieved.  She did everything she could to ensure that her aunt wouldn’t leave her just like her parents did.

When she turned 12, her aunt left the village to deliver some medicine to another family.  Kiku waited for weeks, but her aunt never returned.  Worried, Kiku left the village to find her.  Her travels were put to a stop when she was attacked by a demon in the middle of the night.  She had been lucky that night, when a demon slayer showed up at the right moment.  Amazed, Kiku had forgotten her goal of finding her aunt and asked the demon slayer to train her.

Kiku had gone to take the final selection when she turned 14.  When she finished, she could not find the demon slayer who had helped her anywhere.  However, she had been left a letter that reminded her of her original goal.  She set out once she had gotten her Nichirin Blade and went to find the whereabouts of her aunt.

Taisho Secret(s):

Kiku's sugar intake needs to be kept at a minimum. If she over consumes, she'll go on a crazy hyper spree causing trouble. The thing is, she never remembers what happens during any of these. She just black outs completely during it.

Kiku has gotten herself scammed multiple times before.  She always falls for the same tricks from the same person.  As of now, she has 15 “miracle” lotions.

Kiku once followed a random demon slayer she just met home.  The person didn’t notice until they had gotten home, but it was much too late to make Kiku go home.  As a result, she ended up spending the night as an uninvited guest.
