I finally played The Wolf Among Us and I am in love with Bigby Wolf. I have only played the game, not read the comics unfortunately so far!! But anyways;

This is a sideblog, and I follow back from my main @grimmusings. Please direct IMs there, since it’s easier for me to keep all my messages on one blog. It’s also easier to start interactions with me there, where I regularly post open starters and meme prompts. For a full list of rules, see my main. Honesty hour questions will largely be answered IC and treated as anonymous unless signed by a muse.

Lawrence Talbot is a canon character from the film The Wolf Man (1941). All details vary based on verse, but in general, he's a mix of headcanons and lore from the original Universal films. There will be strong themes of suicide/suicidal ideation and self-loathing present on this blog. Larry does not retain any sense of self or control when he transforms into the wolf. He would unknowingly kill anyone who crosses his path, even those dear to him. He believes he's cursed, and if he cannot find a cure for the curse, he would willingly see himself dead.

And now, a little on the lore for those not familiar with this universe. I'm happy to have Larry's transformation be that of a full wolf or the classic wolfman figure, per the preferences of my partners. He was bitten by the werewolf Bela, who he then unknowingly killed, in the year 1891. He's stronger and faster than a human, with heightened senses of smell and hearing, but only in his wolf form. He cannot age or get sick, and he's very difficult to kill except for a silver bullet fired by one who truly loves him. Even then, if his grave isn't kept covered in wolfsbane, he may rise again (so it's easy to pop him into a modern timeline). I'm happy to introduce him to other werewolf muses who might teach him how to control his wolf side.

01.  although  both  alice  and  red's  main  verse  is  telltale's  the  wolf  among  us,  they  can  easily  be  put  into  other  verses.  my  portrayals  of  these  characters  are  my  own  original  interpretations  and  not  at  all  affiliated  with  the  characters  presented  in  the  fables  comics.

currently has  verses  in:  dc,  marvel,  the  boys,  supernatural,  silent  hill,  resident  evil,  the walking dead,  the last of us.

the  wolf  among  us  verse:  alice  is  a  college  student  who  is  a  bit  of  a  dreamer  and  works  at  the  'eat  me  bakery' in fabletown,  she  also  has  a  habit  of  being  at  the  wrong  places  at  the  wrong  time.  red  is  a  smuggler  around fabletown who,  after  her  encounter  with  the  big  bad  wolf (bigby)  that  resulted  in  the  death  of  her  grandmother,  turned  to  a  life  of  crime.

02.  basic  roleplay  etiquette  applies.  be  patient  and  kind.  hate  for  female  characters  will  not  be  tolerated.  ocs  and  crossovers  are  welcome.  my  biggest  rule  is  please  don't  use  excessive  fonts  when  replying  to  me  because  i  have  a  difficult  time  reading  them!  this  blog  is  rated  18+  for  mature  topics:  crime,  drugs,  smut,  violence,  and  mental  health.  my  discord  is  currently  for  friends  only.  there  is  no  expirations  for  sending  memes.  you  can  turn  ask  memes  into  threads  if  you  want.  starter  calls  are  only  for  mutuals.

03.  alice  and  red  are  both  bisexual and open to all ships. red is a lot more guarded, so romantic ships with her will take time. alice is very open and loving, and will accept romantic and platonic ships easily. flirting  =/=  forced  shipping.  i  will  not  interact  with  oc  children  of  my  characters  mostly  because  my  red  can't  have  children  and  my  alice  is  too  young.

        THE WOLF CAN SMELL A GIRL APPROACHING WHILE HE SNIFFS AROUND FOR CLUES. It’s not that hard for him to realize a presence even before she stands face to face with him. Leisurely, he prepares the tobacco inside the pipe that the wolf always carries with him, before lighting it in order to fulfill his lungs with the smoke. He glances, capturing the silhouette of a shadow with his wolf sight approaching towards him. Of course, he recognized the scent and to whom it belonged before she appeared but he attempted to at least look mundanely surprised with the unwanted company while he was practically exploring the place in a very uneducated manner.  ❝   Eager for trouble, miss Daaé?    ❞ He inquires, raising an eyebrow. It wasn’t in his right to speak such thing, as he was the guest inside the Garnier Opera, though his words were precisely in order to take a reaction from the talented and bright singer, Christine.  ❝   It looks like that’s what we can find by walking in these intricate architecture. I love early Snow/Bigby! This is their first interaction and he, The Big Bad Wolf, is perched casually on her desk, smoking in front of the "Thank You for Not Smoking" sign, while she, a character already established as uptight, isn't even really phased by it. It says so much about their characters and their relationship in such a short amount of time and I can't get over it!

can you pls tell me how does sunny interact with the main characters? any friends or enemies?

Well, she works (somewhat reluctantly) as Bigby's deputy. So grows to respect him over time. He's also one of the only people who doesn't give her shit for being half Mundane, which she's really thankful for.

With Snow it's complicated. There are times when it seems like they could be friends but then their personalities and beliefs clash and they remember why they aren't friends.

Friends: I'm not sure if this counts but Sunny has a very positive relationship with her aunt, Katrina.

After the Faith and Lily case, Sunny becomes friends with Holly. I also thought of making her friends with The Boy Who Cried Wolf because in my head that seems funny.

Enemies: Even before the events of TWAU Sunny didn't think highly of Crane. Mostly because Sunny's father had a bad history with Crane and was very vocal about his dislike for the man. Sunny later grows to full-on despise Crane.

Given the fact that he was a werewolf -- or just a wolf in general, and he walked all over New York all of the time back home, you'd think he'd be more excited to go hiking; but no. Forests just reminded him of his life before Fabletown, before Snow helped make him partially human. "I did," Bigby nods at them. "This makes for a good bonding activity, I guess."

"good, that'll make this walk a lot less unbearable." they answered as they started the hike up the trail. "hope you packed for a long day."
