This specific post that Seymour made is referencing a conference that was being about this bill where, during her turn to speak, Hana Rawhiti began a haka which was then joined in on by many of the other people in attendance. David Seymour, one of the main proponents of this bill then posted that on his party's official Instagram page trying to paint Hana as an uncivilized thug. This is a common tactic for racists and seeing an acting member of parliament openly say something like this makes me feel genuinely sick to my stomach.

Hi 👋🏽 Jay here again, just thought I would update y’all on my situation. But firstly I wanna thank everyone who donated to me previously, I really appreciate it! 💙

Those that don’t know the general situation can find out all the details here. Sadly even with getting paid at my new job, things have not gotten better. They aren’t giving me sufficient and stable hours and while I will soon be looking for another job, at the moment I am mostly concerned about being able to afford to pay my phone bill and rent to avoid getting evicted. I’ve been barely scrapping by and can barely afford to feed myself.

And as of now, though I just got paid, I don’t have enough money to pay rent let alone that and my phone bill. I'm hoping to receive at least $320 in donations to pay the rest of my rent off as well as my phone bill and general food costs.

Things have been really rough this month, I don’t have family nor do I have irl friends that can financially help me and I really could use your help again if you’re able. Honestly I hate having to ask for help especially from friends but I've been reminded recently that we all need help from time to time and needing to lean on others isn't a weakness.

these are the first drawings of her!! surprisingly not that much has changed in her design, but i’ve certainly improved quite a bit lol

fun fact: in the first sketch, she was originally pink with heart designs— she wasn’t meant to be an actual oc, just a practice sketch!! i ended up hating the pink and adjusted the color to green on a whim.
