Solar Return Observations #1

🔆Sun in 1st house: You might feel a strong urge to express yourself more than usual this year. There's a desire for you to be seen by others. You could also just generally find yourself feeling more optimistic about life than usual. When I look back on photos I've taken of myself during these years, I feel like I notice a glow in my appearance.

🔆Chart ruler conjunct AC: Can be a year filled with a lot of personal change and the rising sign/planet can provide more insight into what that change is. For example, a year when I had Capricorn ascendant with Saturn on my ascendant, I was dealing with so many obstacles and put into situations where I was forced to mature and grow constantly and I now consider it one of the hardest years of my life. Another year when I had Libra ascendant with Venus on my ascendant, I found myself feeling really confident and attractive and embracing my style and creativity, and this was one of the happiest years of my life.

🔆Uranus conjunct IC: Can be a year where your living situation could be changing suddenly and frequently. I lived in multiple new places during a year when I had this aspect. All of these moves happened within a couple of days to a month. There's a strong emphasis on the sudden changing nature of these living situations.

🔆Neptune in 5th house: You might be really romanticizing and enjoying your hobbies this year as well as discovering new hobbies. You can really lose yourself in your creative endeavors and your imagination is vibrant.

Aqua Venus’s love style is NOT distant & aloof. If they are distant with you or u don’t know where u stand with them 9 times out of 10 they are very uninterested. When they find that one weirdo (cuz they love unconventionals) they are so romantic and clingy. When they find their person its usually their best friend & they do everything together. I think people assume their love nature is distance because that’s how they treat most people but once they find that person it’s nothing like that at all. They’re just really specific & will ice out anything they don’t vibe with. They are really flirty when they have a crush.

Gemini mars are normally amazing with their hands , if uk what I mean 👀😏

Venus in Libras are really amazing party planners. They are really artistically talented when it comes to decorating & hosting social events. They know how to make their environment aesthetically pleasing & make others comfortable in the process.

Sagittarius risings have really loud laughs. They’re those people that when someone says a joke their laugh is usually funnier than the joke 😂

Cancer risings are always victimizing themselves. If underdeveloped this can be one of the most manipulative cancer placements.

Moon in Scorpios can like attention just as much (if not more) than Leo’s. This may sound really shocking given how reserved this sign usually is. But I notice these people really shine in the spotlight. Most really big celebrities have their Moon in Scorpio.

Venus in Taurus love when people put a lot of thought in when buying/making them gifts. They value sentimental things that you can’t just buy anywhere like a knitted blanket, or art you made, pottery, jewelry etc. they like to know you really pay attention to their interests compared to just getting something name branded or a gift card.

Libra risings are always talking about their exes (they normally have a lot of them) they will always randomly bring them up in convos saying how certain things remind them of their exes. It can get a little annoying sometimes 😂

Aries Venus’s tend to not mind being single for long periods of time. I’ve seen this placement never marry or wait really late to finally decide. They are very independent by nature and it’s usually difficult to keep their attention for the long term. Their flame burns bright in the beginning just for it to burn out just as fast. Neptune in the 10th house people can be confused on what career path to take or can have very delusional unrealistic expectations for their careers. (Ex: wanting to be a famous NFL quarterback but never really practices for it). HOWEVER once they do finally decide on a path people can completely idolize these people to an almost worshipping degree. (I believe Jesus Christ has his Neptune in the 10th house). They can be amazing religious/spiritual leaders as well.

A lot of cult leaders have Pluto in the 11th house. These people can also have a very worshipping fan group if they get big in whatever they’re into but their followers have a darker more intense vibe than Neptune in the 10ths. People can easily be obsessed with these people and will do a lot of irrational things to please them. They can persuade people to do anything.

Lilith conjunct ascendant in synastry can be very scary sometimes. The Lilith person will do anything for the ascendant person even if it could ruin their life. Lilith becomes almost hypnotized by the ascendant person. Gypsy rose Blanchard and her bf at the time Nick had this aspect. Nicks Lilith was conjunct her ascendant & she was able to convince him to murder her mother.

Ceres is a muddy (literally clay) dwarf planet (small) that orbits in the asteroid belt between Jupiter and Mars. It is full of craters since it stays in the asteroid belt and wouldn't you know it that fits as well.

Also it is named after the roman goddess of nature often equated to Demeter which fits perfectly with his nature and especially moss theme.

Etho - Mimas.

I could give a bunch of reasons for this one like silver fitting Etho perfectly or the icyness fitting with Etho's association with ice. But like..

This is Titan, the biggest of Saturn's moons. The colour fits that of a swamp and the name titan usually refers to something gigantic despite this being only a moon and not a planet and therefore small. It's also at the temperature where methane has a cycle similiar to water and has a haze of methane vapour covering it like mist...it therefore smells and looks very swampy.

Also also if we do this we can have Lizzie as Titania, which is a different moon named after the fae queen which fits perfectly with Lizzie... Speaking of:

🍓Regardless of the sign a planet is in, it is important to check the aspects it makes to other planets. This is especially the case for synastry charts and readings as aspects create an activation that can enhance, block or overturn the energy of said planets.

🍓People with Sun conjunct Sun aspect are very competitive with one another. This is usually exasperated when one or both have this aspect in a Fire house.

🍓Natives with Mars squaring others Neptune are usually challenging people realities. For the Mars native, the Neptune person is usually a cause of drama or someone that is petty or inauthentic. Any tight conjunctions between sensitive points and planets like the nodes, asc, dsc, mc ,ic , chiron, vertex, venus , saturn and especially the moon in the chart or overlapped onto your natal can show that the meeting was fated/ has a higher purpose.

- I one time had saturn conjunct south node, pluto and vertex in the 4th house square chiron in the 7th with my old crush in middle school and it was the most painful experience that i ever went through. Trying to get over him but I just couldnt because I was stuck for some reason. We kept repeating the same hurtful behaviors over and over. Not to mention it was in capricorn and when I overlapped it to my natal, the stellium conjuncted my natal venus. It definitely transformed me and was something that completely changed me as a person. I dont regret it at all though because im so much stronger now.

- Your ascendant for sure gives first impressions and the feeling of the relation. I have a cancer ascendant with my best friend, and when I first met him two years ago I felt instantly comfortable with him. - So my recent crush and I have taurus ascendant and we met while rushing to get in line to get food in the cafeteria at school. The ascendant has uranus and asteroid valentine conjunct and omg I literally felt love at first sight when I caught his eyes. Literally the definition of beautiful stranger. There was definitely an air of sensuality atleast from my side. I dont know how it affected him but the ascendant and valentine and uranus falls in my natal 8th house so you can already tell how struck I am.

- We also have scorpio moon exactly conjunct the descendant and the amount of unholy thoughts I had at first sight bro it was bad. The thing is, my natal scorpio moon, lust, lilith, and psyche is exactly conjunct the event chart descendant and moon. The feelings were so strong for me at first meeting. Kind of obsessive and posessive as well. Also we were both really quiet around each other. He pulled me in because of his mysterious aura that i couldnt get a grip on hes kind of a loner and always has his airpods in. Like I just felt a certain way around him and it intrugued meee.

- Something that made it feel fated was that we have north node in the 12th house conjunct chiron and south node conjunct vertex. When overlapped with my natal chart the north node and chiron is exactly conjunct my natal descendant in aries and south node and vertex conjunct my natal Libra ascendant. Also another reason of love at first sight is hes for sure my physical type. After I saw him that day I keep running into him like at the counslers office, on my way to class, at the lunch line. Its kinda odd because we’ve had the same lunch period for the whole year and I never ran into him until now. I feel like theres a higher purpose for us meeting but for now ill just be ok with a hallway crush.

- We have sun, mercury, saturn, and neptune in pisces in the 11th house and I always felt to scared and shy to talk to him because hes kind of always in his own energy. Headphones in with a somber aura. He looks like a wounded person. I have a feeling that hes not who he presents himself to either. Thats why I dont wanna approach him. Hes also a year older than me lol ( sun conjunct saturn and venus and mars in the 10th).

- I dont know if the attraction is mutual, but to tell, I feel like you can by seeing how it overlaps with natal charts. It conjuncts my sensitive points so obviously I felt thrown off my feet by him.

- We have 1st house ruler venus conjunct 7th house ruler mars in the 10th house conjunct the midheaven. However it froms a t-square with uranus and jupiter in the 12th with moon in the 7th. I feel like there must have been something on both sides but difference in values since venus and mars are in aquarius. Hes older than me and we ran into each other for the second time when planning to take college classes in the summer at the counslers office. Overall I found his ambition attractive and I can tell hes smart.

As mentioned previously in my intro to this series, I will be discussing the 5th house. Specifically it’s correspondence to romance and dating. In my experience I have seen how someone has to meet the needs of your fifth house in order for them to be considered a 7th house person - a long term relationship. The fifth house is all about pleasure and excitement. Its also important in a relationship when it comes to keeping that spark alive.

A separate point I will make is the importance of the fifth house in the composite chart. Whilst you can look at the natal chart of each individual in the relationship to see their separate needs for that spark, the composite chart shows you the things you candy together that will bring this mutual energy of romance.

Pisces over the fifth 

If you cannot fantasise about the person you are dating, you don’t want them. You know you like someone when your mind gets caught up in a daydream of them, you cannot help but slip into that fantasy sometimes. If someone doesn’t trigger your imagination like that, you will know you aren’t interested in them. You want to dream of that person.
