Here Comes The Bride - event & season 3 intro

Weeps and cries filled the room as two healthy babies joined the community. Even Zuri had to hold back the tears of joy and pride, but she had a mom to take care of. Zach needed to be by Emily's side as well. They would welcome Rio and Ian together, but now she needed him there, just like he had to be sure his better half was fine. He let her dig her fingers into his wrist when the pain was unbearable — her index finger would leave a tiny scar that he would wear with pride.

He kept running his fingers through her hair tenderly, kissing her shoulder with affection to calm her down — Zuri's terms and conditons were clear as day when she allowed him to join them. No peeking, no fainting, no panic. Be her support, don't be an additional problem. He let them do their job and focused on how brave, strong, and beautiful Emily was; once everything had quieted down, Zach scooched over beside her and used their last moments as a duet to fall in love with her all over again as they both fell asleep.

She was his everything. People overused this term before the end of the world, and Zach was sure nothing had changed in this matter, but it was no overstatement. He doubted he would even still be there if she hadn't appeared in the Wexley. He would have done something reckless, he would have let his guard down as the weight of his emotions got too much to shoulder. He had managed to stay clear-headed for his family, but without Em, there would be no family.

Zach raised his eyes from the thin white crescent-shaped line and looked at the kids. It still confused Rio and Ian whenever Uncle Eric was babysitting them; he looked just like Dad, but his hair wasn't blue, which made even less sense. And while Rio was busy studying a single strand of Aggie's blonde hair, turning and folding it in her tiny hands, Zach couldn't hide his amusement when he saw Ian's bewildered but smiling expression when his eyes landed on Eric again.

"Aren't they the most beautiful people this planet has ever seen?" Zach put his arms around Emily's frame, pulling her back close to his chest. This had to be the first time in ages since he wore anything so monochromatic, but his brother's wedding was an occasion that called for a more classic look, and their children looked like their parents' copies. "Thank you," he said quietly, his words meant for Emily's ears only as he pressed a kiss to the side of her neck and put his hand on her belly like she didn't know what he was so thankful for. "We'd make two more if the world wasn't like this," he half-joked and turned her around so they could face each other. Even when he wasn't smiling, he had more reasons to be happy than he could ask for.

3. Who is the hardest OC to write?

Um, this is actually kinda hard to answer. Mostly cuz for the vast majority of my OCs, I have done a grand total of zero actual writing for. They live as,,, ideas in my head and campfire stories I tell my friends.

I guess I could say that the hardest OC for me to write is Shoko Narakubami? She's one of my first OCs- not a whump one, so I haven't talked about her much on this blog. I think I've always had a little bit of trouble writing her, because what she expresses and what she actually feels are usually pretty different. Also, she has a lot of secrets and important aspects of her character, and I've definitely always struggled with revealing them all in a satisfying manner.

6. Have any of your OCs had name changes? If so, why?

Idk if this is talking about in character or out of character! So I will just do both >:)

OOC, I have an OC named Ivy Fletcher who used to be named Izzy Fletcher. I changed it to Ivy cuz it sounded a little more mature and fitting of the character. Otherwise I don't really change a character's name much, once I start using them.

IC, I have a lot of characters who have changed their names! Aleksy was formerly named Asia Adrasteia. Ashtaroth goes by an alias, Ky. Cerise changed her name from Marie Jean-Deforest. Columba and Isaac have changed their names countless times over the course of their lives, for immortal reasons. Hjordis's real name is Reina, but no one calls him that anymore. Zack discarded his full name in favor of just being Zack.

Also I got a ton of characters who changed their names for transgender reasons. Christian, Félix, Janessa, Javier, Jiayan, Lan, Soren, Storm, Synabel, Volya, Zach, and Zuri. Not including the trans OCs in the above paragraphs.
