James peers down at the sticky note that had been shoved into the lockbox on the garage door of the cabin you're renting for the weekend, instructions from the owner on how to get inside.
"She says the code is 6, 9, 6, 9, pound," James reads, pausing to snicker before he finishes his sentence, "And she'd prefer if we came in the back door."
Sirius lets out his familiar bark of laughter, mumbling, "That's what she said."
"She's a woman that knows what she wants," James's face is glowing with a perpetual grin, his skin rosy from the cold. Even Remus chuckles from where he's standing behind you with your bags, and you're not sure why they all seem to be so delighted by the homeowner's request.
"It's probably 'cause her bush blocks the front entrance," You muse, pointing at some roses that have grown over the pathway to the front door, but are far too beautiful to contain, "I wouldn't want to trim it either."
Somehow, you've missed the mark.
Their eyes brighten with even more of the amusement that's typically shining in them, and their chests convulse as they try biting their tongues to stop from laughing.
"What?" Your brow furrows slightly, "Why's that funny?"
"It's not," Remus clears his throat, but he's lying, and you know he is because his mouth is twisted into a poorly-concealed smirk, "I think you're right, darling. It's the bush."
"S'always the bush," Sirius chimes in, grin far too wolfish to be talking of roses, "I mean, y'forget to garden for a week, and bam, it's out of control."
"Alright," Remus chides lightly, though he's still tight in the chest as he tries not to laugh, "Might I remind you that you haven't trimmed in a month? It's almost as long as the hair on your head."
"It clogs up the shower drain, mate," James concedes regretfully, "I can't back you up on this one."
Your brain is swirling with scattered concepts, your train of thought rapidly switching between tracks. Roses, bush, hair, trimming, gardening, showering, you feel like you've dropped two crates of words and now you need to sort them back into their original piles again. Surely roses goes with gardening and bush, but what have they got to do with showering?
"Whatever," Sirius scoffs good-naturedly, slinging his bag over his shoulder and punching the code into the door. He presses the final key, mumbling pound as he does so, then holds it open for you, "C'mon darling, inside, let's go to pound town."

my mind is plagued with the thought of girl dad!Toji urghhhh đ
when you first told that youâre pregnant, he just fr looked at you liek đ«€ Dude was not READY (even tho he already has a teenage son). Mans literally got all :/ for the consequences of his own actionânot wearing condom and creampieing you all night just because itâs his silly lil kink đ€Șđ€Ș
his thought doesnât go to the gender of the baby, cuz he thought babies are all the same, âaLl tHey dO iS shiT anD cRy đ đ â (liek Megumi was mostly raised by his mom tf he knows abt babies) until youâre 7 months pregnant and lying on his chest, in the bed with him while thinking up names for your baby.
âAkio,â Toji spoke, his chest rumbling with his words.
âThatâs a boy name, Toji,â you turned to look at him, suspicion laced in your features. âDo you even know the gender of our baby?â
âUhâyea. A girl, right?â he answered based on the way you reacted.
This wasnât good. He was showing signs of a neglectful parent, just like how he did with his son; you can never imagine yourself as a single momâand you would stop at nothing to prevent his cycle of absent parenting.
Your daughter would have parents who would do anything, even kill for her, you swore.
And Toji would take that literally.
When he first saw Minami, he had an intangible feeling in his chest, pulse thumping fast and his head grew heavy. It was like having Megumi for the first time, with another woman he loves and a daughter with her.
Toji had forgotten how tiny babies were, especially in his large hands. And the sight of this hulking man slightly crouching as he held his daughter warmed your heart: the look in his eyes spoke volume then, no one would ever dare to hurt his little girl.
When days got to months and bled to years, toddler Minami had finally grown into her character and the two of you are absolutely exhausted trying to take care of her. She was like a burning shell fired out of a circus cannon from the depths of hell, screaming when you donât let her tear her storybooks apart and obliterating your ears when you take her toys away for throwing them at people.
Itâs during moments like this where Toji imagines a life without her (sorry). Youâd be spending time date nights alone usually ended with you screaming his name at the backseat of his car. And would he exchange his current life with one without Minami? Absolutely not.
It would mean losing one of his pretty girls in his arm at night, no more tea parties with mom and dad, and he wouldnât have his personal alarm pasting those small smooches on his cheeks to wake him up (upon mommyâs orders).
Heâd rather lose an eardrum or two just to have his emerald-eyed princess welcoming him home with her giggles. Heâd rather the world burn than to lose Minami. His south star, the brightest of all just like her mother.

izuku midoryia x reader
synopsis: going somewhere old to start something new
authors note: your wish is my command! iâll probably make one more part beacause of one line i specifically wanna use LOLL
one | two | three | four
"izuku" inko's voice was light, but stern as she carried two mugs over to the small coffee table in her apartment. the same apartment that he had grown up in. of course, he had tried to buy her a house as soon as he received his first paycheck, but she refused. insisted that she didn't need much room for just herself. plus, she loved the little bursts of nostalgia she would get every so often from doing simple things. like making izuku's favorite cookies in the kitchen, or even walking by his old room which she kept perfectly intact. if someone walked in there they might've thought that he was still a teenage boy, but he wasn't.
there in her living room sat her son in his early adulthood. he almost took up half of the loveseat due to the growing muscle on his body. though even due to his increase in size, he shrunk down hearing his mother say his name.
she sat down next to him placing the mugs right on the coasters he had set out "you haven't answered my question"
izuku brought his two fingers up to rub the bridge of his nose "no, we're not together anymore" he mumbled in embarrassment and shame. it never felt good to tell anyone a relationship they invested time and money into didn't end up working out.
she frowned placing a hand on his back to rub slow circles "you got divorced after one week? izuku that can't be right.."
"no, no we didn't get divorced. we were actually, um" he was trying to figure out how to word this correctly to where he didn't sound insane "we were never officially married"
she stopped rubbing giving him a skeptical look "izuku what do you mean you were never married?"
he sighed leaning his elbows against his knees "we were supposed to sign the official marriage papers during the reception in front of everyone then send them in the next day. after that fight though? we just decided to not do it anymore"
"how did the press take it? i haven't seen anything"
"the press didn't know about the engagement or the wedding thankfully. we wanted a peaceful time to plan the wedding. theyâre posting a breakup message for the both of us later today though. better to nip it in the bud nowâ
she nodded her head going to resume in rubbing his back "so when did you officially decide to call it off"
"yesterday"
"any specific reason? or a buildup of many?"
he paused for a moment, mulling over the answer "she would say one specific reason. i would say it built up over time" he shook his head in disbelief "couldn't even agree on that"
"what would she say the one reason was"
a lump caught in his throat at the question. such a simple fucking question that he didn't want to answer. but he knew if he didn't she would be a pain about it.
"y/n"
inko hummed at the very familiar name. you had been over mulitple times in the past years with and without her son. the two of you had grown close and she was like a mother to you. honestly, she had wished that izuku had gotten with you in the first place. would've saved a lot of time and trouble.
"well.. was she a strain to your relationship"
izuku scoffed, almost offended she even asked.
"she was never a problem for me-"
"well of course she wasn't a problem for you. that was your best friend"
"exactly! if uraraka couldn't understand that then it couldn't have worked between us. y/n was one of the first people to believe in me. i owe her a lot and i can't just let her go like that"
inko moved her hand from izuku's back and went to hold his hands instead "face me honey" izuku shifted his body so he was now facing his mother. growing older everyday, but still the strong woman he remembers when he was younger "i just wanted to apologize. for not bring able to give you a normal childhood with two parents in the home"
izuku's eyebrows scrunched together in confusion at her sudden apology "where is this coming from? mom it's fine. you did the best you could and i appreciate that more than anything else you could've done"
she patted on of his hands with a smile "i know you do sweetheart. but i'm mostly apologizing because you couldn't see what a real marriage consists of. the person you marry is one of the most important decisions you will ever make, but the easiest at the same time. love isn't enough to hold a marriage together, you need to be best friends before that. when you love someone on a surface level all you want to do is make sure they're happy. they won't tell you if something is bothering them. they'll follow you blindly into anything. when you marry your best friend you hold them accountable because you want to see them succeed in all that they do. it might make you fight sometimes, but at the end of the day it's worth it. because you have someone by your side you know that will stick it out with you for the rest of your years to come. that's what a marriage should be like"
".. so you're saying i should marry y/n?"
"i'm saying give it time. you don't need to jump back into another relationship immediately after this. what you should be doing is taking time to reflect on what you want, and when you're ready, how y/n makes you feel. and if you do feel something? let it flow. what happens will happen naturallyâ
---
the smell of hot glue filled your senses as you picked up a seashell from your pile. currently, you were at inko's house doing your monthly crafting sessions. who cares if you hadn't talked to izuku in four months? at least you had his mom.
last month the two of you had went to the beach to crochet, and ended up walking along the beach picking up seashells as you talked. that's when she let you know about the unspoken details of the breakup. you tried to hide your feelings with a stoic face and a simple 'wow'. though inko wasn't buying any of it.
she was currently letting you in on all the work drama she was currently having "i don't know why they want to get in my face like i'm the problem. ma'am, you have an STD, i'm a pediatric nurse. please let me do my job"
you threw your head back in laughter which drowned out the sound of keys jingling in the door.
"hey mom? i got those vegetables you were talking about. don't these tomatoes look fake?" he stopped mid-sentence seeing you sitting there on the floor with the same expression.
"oh no, i must've double booked you two" inko got up taking the bag from izuku's hands "you see every month y/n and i do crafty stuff together and it happened to land on the same day i told you i would make the stir fry"
you gave izuku a quick smile before turning from his lingering gaze "it's okay okaasan. i'll come back another day so we can finish it" you started to gather your things, but inko shook her head "you are staying for dinner. this recipe cooks for four and i am not eating all these leftovers"
you wanted to argue, but knew it would fall onto deaf ears "okay then"
âizuku honey. finish mines while i start on dinnerâ
âalrightâ he went to sit on the couch, knee almost brushing onto your shoulder. izuku watched as you placed one of the shells onto your frame carefully. getting the idea he started to do the same exact thing.
you could cut the tension with a knife. silence wasnât something you were particularly used to with izuku.
âheard you and ochako broke upâ
and at this moment he could start listing the things he loved about you.
1. you werenât afraid to be blunt with him
both of his eyebrows raised and he blew out a puff of air âyou donât hold anything backâ
ânever did, never willâ
he chuckled at your words glancing over at you. there was a slight smile on your face he could tell you were trying to hide. there was a slight slump to your shoulders though as time went on.
he continued with the project figuring he would wait until you spoke again.
like clockwork you turned looking directly into his eyes âcan we talk?â
2. you made room for open and honest communication
he nodded placing the picture frame down carefully âyeah, unplug the hot glue and we can go in my roomâ you nodded unplugging the glue guns and heading over to his old room. he followed after you but not before turning back to his mom âweâre gonna talkâ
she gave him a nod, but then quickly turned around when it finally registered âtalk? like the talk? the talk so that you two can get together so i can finally have grandbabies talk?-â
âif i say yes will you stop it with that?â
âyesâ
âthen yes that talkâ
she shooed him off into the room as if it was him holding them up. he rubbed the back of his neck while walking inside. with the other hand he closed the door with a soft click.
âhow much of that did you hear?â
you shrugged going to sit on the bed âi didnât hear any of it if it makes you feel betterâ
âit does actuallyâ he sat himself down next to you with a huff. kirishima would probably kick him right now for how unmanly heâs being. forcing you to step up and take charge of the situation. he just wanted to test the waters out and see how you felt first.
âi guess i just wanted to catch up. really see how youâre feeling. cause i know you posted on the media you ended everything on good terms, but is everything really okay? i mean you broke up with the woman you thought youâd be spending the rest of your life with. itâs okay to be upsetâ
3. you genuinely cared for him no matter what
âi-â he cleared his throat from the unexpected voice crack that had arose âsorry, iâm pretty fine now actually. i just feel guilty for making ochako feel embarrassed about the whole situation. other than that.. i really donât think we were meant to be anywaysâ
âwhat do you mean you didnât think you were meant to be anyways? whyâd you propose in the first place then?â
he shrugged taking off a loose strand on the all might themed duvet âi donât think i knew what marriage was about. but i was informed very recently on what it is about and my vision changedâ he watched as you turned to look at him with eyebrows raised.
âoh yeah? changed to what?â
âyouâ
your playful demeanor dropped immediately. his words truly sinking into the both of you. he attempted to scoot closer to you, but you backed away hesitantly.
âizuku we canât do this. where you break up with ochako and come running to me? iâm not a second choice you know that right?â this is what you had always wanted, but at this moment it didnât feel that way. with the current circumstances how else were you supposed to feel?
izukuâs eyes widened when he heard that and redness quickly creeped up his neck. he held both hands up shaking his head âthatâs not it i swear! you were never my second choice. in fact, you were always my first. i could just never admit it to myself that maybe, maybe we could make it work romantically. i- i am attracted to you and everything like that! maybe i was with uraraka for so long that i didnât notice what was right in front of meâ
your throat had gone dry. was this really happening? the boy youâd been crushing on for eternity is finally asking you out after leaving his longtime girlfriend. totally normal, and totally not a chance you were willing to give up.
you wasted no time grabbing both of his cheeks and pulling him down for a kiss. startled was an understatement as he felt his lips connecting to yours. though as he realized what was truly happening, he wasnât complaining. he shut his eyes moving one hand to your cheek and the other on your waist.
despite the quick start, the kiss was soft and slow. tongues gently brushing together in steady movements. when you pulled away, there was a goofy smile on your face. izuku trailed more kisses from your cheek, to your jaw, right down your neck.
4. you were a damned good kisser
âyouâve got a lot of work to do. i hope you know thatâ
izuku hummed nodding his head âiâm willing to work for itâ
âhm.. izu?â
âyeahâ he mumbled clearly not wanting to your time be interrupted.
âiâm not saying this doesnât feel nice, because it does, but can we save it? for one your mom is on the other room. and two? all might is staring dead into my soulâ
he pulled away face bright red turning to the poster you were talking about. there he was in all his glory. all might standing there in his signature hero suit, beady blue eyes staring directly at the viewer. izuku turned back to you not being able to contain his laughter. you were right behind him leaning your head on his shoulder in a fit of giggles.
5. you were his best friend

All parts: part 1, part 2, part 3
The little while Y/N was supposed to stay with her moms turned into a week, then two more, a month, and another one. However, Wanda and Natasha have not minded it at all, theyâre over the moon to spend more time with their daughter.
They donât live at their old apartment anymore, having decided itâd be too overwhelming for Y/N to go back there. Instead, they live in a house further away from the city and the noise. It has three bedrooms, one for guests, one for Wanda and Natasha, and one for Y/N.
Itâs perfect for the three of them.
Of course, Natasha and Wanda arenât pressuring Y/N into moving in with them permanently, which is why she is still paying rent on her crappy apartment, but their hope is high.
Y/N paces around in the living room, wearing her best clothes, which werenât that good with her minimal income as she refused to let her mothers use too much money on her.
âSheâll be here soon.â Wanda sets her hand on Y/Nâs shoulder, giving her a comforting smile. âYou donât need to worry.â
âI know, I just-â she takes a breath, âI havenât seen her since that day.â
Natasha steps inside the room. âShe wonât blame you for that. Sheâll understand why.â
Staying quiet, Y/N stares out of the window, waiting for a car to drive into their road. Her hands are shaking, so she keeps playing with the rings on her fingers. Wanda keeps staring at the rings with a small smile, happy to see her daughter wearing her old rings, but missing the times she used to play with her hands when nervous.
A black car with tinted windows drives to the front of the house. Y/Nâs breath hitches, seemingly unable to move before Natasha gives her a small nudge. âGo on.â
Y/N walks to the porch and down the few stairs on it, her moms behind her. Maria is standing by her car. âHey, bug.â She has a smile on her face, but she looks afraid. Y/N is pretty sure she has never seen Maria afraid.
âHi, aunt Maria.â
With that, Maria, who brides her ability to keep her emotions in check, starts crying.
Y/Nâs eyes widen. It takes her a moment to react, but when she does so, she walks straight to Maria and hugs her. Her arms wrap around Mariaâs neck, while the womanâs arms go around Y/Nâs waist tightly.
They stare for a moment, both crying, before Maria pulls slightly away to wipe away the tears. âIâm so sorry, I really am.â She sniffles, moving her hands on Y/Nâs cheeks to lift her head up to face her. âIâm sorry I left you alone in there.â
Y/N shakes her head, her lower lip quivering at her honorary auntâs words. âIt wasnât your fault.â Her voice is quiet, almost a whisper.
Maria smiles, appreciating the words though she doesnât fully believe them. One of her hands moves to the side of Y/Nâs head, petting her hair softly. âYouâre so grown now. Youâre not fourteen anymore.â
âIâm not fourteen anymore.â
âYou donât need your aunt to guide you anymore.â Her voice is soft, but it has bitterness in it. Sheâs angry at the world, and herself, for missing out on the rest of Y/Nâs teenage years.
âI do.â Her words are quick. âI need you, just like I still need my moms.â The last words come out quieter than the rest, just so Wanda and Natasha canât hear her. It was always easier to reveal certain things to Maria rather than her moms.
Maria glances at the two other women patiently waiting for them by the porch. She gives them a smile. âLetâs go inside, yeah? we have all the tome in the world now.â Her hand rests on Y/Nâs shoulders as she starts leading her towards the house.
Maria stayed in the Maximoff-Romanoff household until four in the morning. They spent all the hours catching up, though Y/N wasnât too keen on talking about her life alone too much, but she shared the important details.
The clock strikes 12:30 when Y/N finally manages to wake up, still tired from staying up so late. It takes her 20 minutes to actually get out of bed.
She stands up, stretching her whole body and yawning, which causes her to get a short dizzy spell. With tired movements, she walks into the empty kitchen.
Y/N frowns, usually her moms are already up and making breakfast at this time. Her heart gets a heavy feeling, but she pushes it away, making her way to the main bedroom. She knocks on the door. When thereâs no answer, she knocks again, harder this time.
âMom? Mama?â Sheâs not afraid to call Wanda mama anymore.
Once again, no answer.
Her breathing picks up. This isnât the blip, this isnât the blip. She says the sentence over and over in her mind, but itâs getting swallowed by her panic. She opens the door and steps inside the empty bedroom, her dread growing by the second.
âMom!â Y/N starts walking in and out of all the room, checking every possible nook and cranny. âMama!â She quickly makes her way to the living room. Her shaky hands grab the remote control and turn on the television. The channels change quickly as she searches for the news channel.
Before she can fully try to listen to the news anchor, the front door opens. Her moms walking in, both of them holding grocery bags.
âWhere were you?â Y/N shaky words make the two women set the bags down, frowns on their faces as they see the disheveled state their daughter is in. âI- I thought you were gone again. Why would you leave like that? You canât just-â the words are coming out quickly.
âHey, hey,â Wanda sits on the couch, pulling Y/N right next to her, âweâre here and weâre okay.â
Natasha walks into the kitchen, picking up a note they wrote from the floor. It was taped to the fridge so Y/N would see the written Weâre grocery shopping, will be back soon! easily. âIâm sorry, kŃĐŸŃĐșĐ°.â She sets the paper on the counter before joining the two on the couch. âThe note fell.â
Y/N sniffles, trying to keep her sobs at bay while she fully leans into her mothersâ embrace. âI thought you left me again.â
âNo, no.â Natasha and Wanda sandwich Y/N in their embrace. âWe will never ever leave you again, and I know-â Natasha continues talking before Y/N can say anything, âI know itâs hard to keep that promise, and itâll take you time to fully trust us again. Thatâs okay. You just have to know, that weâll do everything in our power to keep you and us safe.â
Y/N sniffles, her head in the crook of Wandaâs neck and her hand holding onto Natashaâs hand tightly. âOkay,â her voice is quiet as a whisper, âyou wonât leave without telling again?â
âNo, baby.â Wanda kisses the top of her head, keeping her face there, taking comfort in her scent even though itâs not as familiar. âWe wonât leave without making sure you know exactly where we are.â
Y/N nods. She pulls away and rubs her eyes, clearing them from the tears. âWhatâd you get from the store?â She changes the subject, feeling slightly embarrassed of her panicked state.
Her moms make no comment of it, they go right into telling Y/N about their plan of the day to cook and bake together.

Luca and R go back to ever for the funeral and sheâs pregnant and theyâre married, maybe everyone knew he had a thing for her back then?
Awww, I love soft/fluffy Luca. I love that heâs a tall, blonde, tattooed, mentally stable man who can cook so in my head Iâve just decided âaha he is my perfect man. Gimmeâ
ALSO SOMEONE GIVE HIM A LAST NAME đ And make it cute. Iâm terrible with making up names.
You placed one hand over your stomach some what self consciously, wondering if the dress was flattering against your bump.
âDo I look pregnant or do I just look like Iâve ate a whole cake?â You asked Luca quietly, you were half joking but still getting used to it. Your baby bump was small but still noticeable against the floaty material of your black dress. He loved seeing you pregnant, he thought you were always beautiful but knowing you had his baby in you just exemplified that tenfold.
âI think people might guess thereâs my little baby in there butâŠâ he paused, Luca linked your hand with his and lifted it to kiss. âButâŠ.you are married to a pastry chef darling, so Iâd be offended if you werenât eating cakes. Youâre the most beautiful woman in the room either way, my loveâ
You smiled and stood on tiptoes to get closer and Luca leant down and kissed you softly, hands instantly balancing you around your waist to support you.
âIâm married to the best pastry chef.â You smiled, muttering a compliment against his lips.
âThe best, eh?â Luca asked âthatâs high praiseâ
âThe best.â You reiterated with a nod.
âHowâd you come to that conclusion, love?â He rose an eyebrow, waiting for your response, teasing but enjoying how much you liked his baking.
âWellâŠâ you started âI have a theoryâŠâ
Luca bent down to kiss you again, moving a hand around to hold your small bump. âGo on?â
âYouâre the pastry chef at the best restaurantâŠin the capital of the country known for pastries. Therefore youâre the best.â
He laughed âCanât argue with that flawless logic.â
âYou canât argue with your pregnant wife anyway. Its againstâŠthe law in every countryâ you tease âyou knocked me upâŠyou have to agree with meâ
There was a moment of silence before.
âI love you so much.â Luca said softly and pulled you in closer to him for another gentle kiss.
You carried on, you on tiptoes pressing soft kisses to his lips in the quiet hallway of a restaurant. Something about it felt a little teenage, stealing kisses at a âfuneralâ, even though you were both well past your teens.
âI love you too.â You whispered against his lips.
You carried on like this, a few gentle kisses before a cough sounded and you separated again like teenagers rather than a grown married couple.
âLuca?â followed by your name.
Carmy hadnât changed. He still had the same wide blue eyes and curly hair.
âYouâŠyou two got together then huh?â He said looking between the two of you,
Heâd always been kind of quietly intense. Youâd put it down to just single track focus with perfecting whatever dish being his only goal. He was, of course, the best at what he did. Today he looked like his mind was elsewhere.
âAnd youâreâŠyouâre pregnant? Youâre having a baby?â
Nodding you smiled.
âWowâŠum, congratulationsâ he offered Luca and handshake which Luca, being ever friendly turned into a hug before he did the same with you.
âI did sometimes wonder why you werenât together earlier yknow,â Carmy said âLuca alwaysâŠI thought you were together already from way he talked about youâŠâ
âWe got there eventually⊠took the long way aroundâ you joked, a reference to how you and Luca had been close friends for well over a decade before youâd both confessed your feelings as more than friendship.
âHowâs the restaurant?â You asked.
Carmyâs pastry chef Marcus had visited Copenhagen last year. He and Luca had stayed in touch but you were interested to hear from Carmy himself.
âItâsâŠuhâŠitâs going.â He nodded, his mind looking elsewhere âyou two should come in. On the house of courseâ
Luca grinned âWeâd love to, mate. Would be great to see how Marcus is getting on too. I have this brilliant new technique for glazed creme heâd love.â
That was something you loved so much about Luca. He was so patient, so kind, so willing to share ideas. The fact he was excited about getting to talk techniques with a friend was soâŠsweet to you. Your lovely pastry nerd. You smiled up at him and then let the two of them catch up for a few minutes, wandering off to board full of photos to look. It wouldnât be long before you felt Lucaâs arm around you.
âI always thought he fancied you.â Luca commented, he leant down for a kiss, having said heâd see his friend inside.
âCarmen?â You laughed âI donât think he did.â
âOh he did. Remember when he came to visit us? In Copenhagen? Before we were together?â Luca held you close to him as you nodded. âI kept thinking heâd steal you awayâŠâ
Lucaâs tone was light but you could tell there was a hint of insecurity there. Youâd been there when theyâd first worked together and Luca had found himself second best in a lot of things. It had been tough on him, lots of ranting and late nights and obsessing until heâd opted to learn from Carmy rather than force a competition.
Eventually Luca got better and better and they found different culinary paths which eased a lot of the tension however of it still lingered a little when it came to you.
âNo one ever could.â You said to him. âI was yours even before I was yoursâ
âI thought he was trying with his lamb, juniper and sea herbs dishâ Luca whispered to you half jokingly, reassured by your emphatic words.
You laughed thinking back to one evening when Carmy had cooked for you all and then looked up to Luca, staring up at him âYeah, It was deliciousâŠbut you know Iâm a dessert girl.â
âI know you are.â Luca grinned and leant down to kiss you once again. âBecause youâre my girlâ
After a few seconds it clicked.
âWaitâŠIs that why you bought me the L?â You rose an eyebrow, looking down at the little silver L necklace that Luca had bought you a few weeks ago. âThe wedding rings and the matching initial tattoos not enough? The baby bump?â She joked.
Luca could feel himself going a bit pink but kissed you anyway âmaybeâŠâ he hummed âbut you like the Lâ
âI love the Lâ you replied
âAnd I love youâ Luca grinned and your hands couldnât help find the way to hook the little L out of the neckline of your shirt.
****
âAnd youâre head pastry chef at Noma, Luca? That passionfruit and kiwi dessert there was the best Iâve ever had!â One chef complimented Luca and you felt the pride swell as he thanked the man
âThank you, it was a real labour of love, see the inspiration behind the passionfruit and kiwi is my wife.â He squeezed your thigh âshe had this incredible passionfruit mousse in Aalborg when we went to celebrate the baby and she loves kiwi so I thought Iâd make this curd thatâsâŠâ
God he was cute when he went on.
âLuca! Did I just overhear you refer to this lovely lady as your wife?â Chef Terry, or rather Andrea, asked âAnd youâre pregnant?â
Luca met his former mentors eyes and nodded equally as enthusiastic about you and the baby as he had been about breaking down his dessert. âYes Chef Te- Andrea, we got married six months ago and baby is three months.â
âHow exciting! Do you know the sex?â
âNot yet, Luca is getting one of his chefs to bake us a cake and weâll cut it on the boat just the two of usâ you explained. âWeâre so excitedâ
âWell that sounds lovelyâ Andrea smiled âHave you got any inklings?â
You put a hand over your small bump âI donât mind. I think itâll be a boyâŠbut as long as it has Lucaâs eyesâŠand my football teamâ you joked.
âAhâŠâ Luca went to protest only for you to gently place a hand over his thigh. It was a playful argument youâd had about four times already.
âLuca, babe⊠when you birth the baby, then you can pick their team.â You teased back in the way you always had.
He cocked his head and gives you a wry grin, conceding youâd made a good point âOr we can have a second?â Luca lifted his hand from your thigh and lifted it to cup your jaw, pulling you into a gentle kiss.
âMaybeâŠâ you teased âLetâs let baby come out first before we start planning the second.â
âLove, Iâm already planning the thirdâ Luca pecked your lips once more before dropping his hand to hold yours over the table.
He wanted three. Heâs always wanted three. Youâd be happy with two but feel like if they have his beautiful eyes and soft blonde curls, you wonât be able to say no to three. Secretly you hoped they did.
âYou two are adorable. I always knew he liked you as more than a friendâ Another woman, older this time says.
âWhen did it click?â Andrea asked interested âWas it when he made that whole collection of nostalgia desserts for you? Those really were special Luca, I think thatâs when we all realised how truly creative you were at pastry. That was one of the most cohesive projects one of my chefs has ever doneâ
Luca smiled, thanking his former mentor again.
âRemember when he kept his hair longer for well over a year because she called that little black hairband cute?â Another chef commented. âOr when he made the discontinued chocolate bar as a fancy dessert for her? Remember how late he stayed? Folding wafer?â
Luca was going redder and you couldnât help but fall in love with him all over again. Deciding to spare his blushes, you spoke up.
âHey if anyone should be embarrassed itâs meâ you quickly said âI had this gorgeous man completely in love with me and I didnât even realise! I was just like thatâs Luca, heâs just so lovely.â
Luca gave your hand another squeeze as a silent thank you.
âYou were worth the waitâ he looked at you causing someone to âawwâ.
âSo were youâ
âMaybe youâre both idiotsâ someone else chimed in breaking the tension and causing a laugh.
âAnd clearly the two of you caught up quick. Married and baby on the way after what? Eighteen months?â The older woman asked again.
âSixteenâ you said quickly. âBut heâs been my best friend for years before that soâŠâ
âBest friend is light. She always been my greatest inspiration and the love of my lifeâ Luca lifted your hand and kissed it.
Luca was the love of your life. And youâd never been happier.

this posts criticizes kinks. dont like that, scoot on away
âitâs just a kink.â until you find out the guy you were roleplaying w actually is a creep đ donât be shocked.
âwhat i do in private is none of your businessâ can yâall stop being stupid? like fr? you cosplaying a middle schooler/teenager for his enjoyment/ you being a GROWN ADULT needing to pretend someone is that young to get off is weird so stop bringing it online and not expecting ppl to be grossed out đ like omfg. if i were an adult and my ADULT gf was ever like âcan you pretend to be a little girl so i can get offâ⊠iâm running tf away.
âitâs for trauma reasonsâ nobody said itâs not queen. that doesnât mean (1) itâs healthy or (2) ppl wonât be weirded out. (coming from someone one whoâs had a few run ins w some ppl she probably shouldnât have)
and this applies to any k1nk that especially tends to harm women. âi love getting off to the idea of beating/abusing a womanâ⊠and ur proud? or women who actively harm other women through their kinksâŠ
tl;dr: stop being shocked when your private kinks you decided to post online arenât encouraged/are frowned upon đ« đ«

SOOOOOOO fem stanâŠ. i see you too have strong feelings for her đđ how about ford watching her get ready for a date?
alright here's the first of the ficlet ask prompts i FINALLY got around to writing and finishing. i think i went to far with this one but fuck it WE LOVE FEMSTAN HERE. Also THANK YOU for the askđđ
~~~
Growing up means getting bigger. Getting bigger means the space that holds a person that occupies a plane shrinks smaller and smaller. One takes up more and more space until thereâs hardly any left at all, so they simply take up more and more, and the four walled rooms shrink smaller and smaller. It doubles, triples, quadruples with people, grown or growing, and suddenly thereâs too little room left to get big in.
Suddenly thereâs none at all, and spider webs in the ceiling corner are too visible and the dust gathered on high shelves once out of reach are too close to the peripheral of the eye. The smudge of red going slightly out of line on Maâs lips and the stubble already starting to root and grow on Paâs face are so small and insignificant when Ford was smaller. Ford is bigger now, even more of an observer, and although those details are still small, the space between his noticing eyes and them have closed, making it impossible not to see. Thatâs how growth works, and until the walls of their home turn to rubble and ash, itâs occupied space. Occupied by four or five at a time.
Occupied spaces are suffocatingâ one must either leave or get used to the closeness. Ford swears heâll be leaving.
âI donât like this.â
âI don't think you like anything, Sixer.â
Ford frowns, crossing his legs stubbornly on Stanâs mattress in silent response. Parallel to him from across the room, Stan is shimmying to a whistle tone coming from her lips, a little sway in her hips and a little bounce in her step. A little swell in her smile makes a little cut in Fordâs chest throb ever so slightly more. Too many little things, too big of a picture. The picture being the worst possible scenario Ford has ever faced in his young life.
Standing in front of her dresser, wrapped in a damp towel, Stanley was getting ready for a date.
A date with Carlos-fucking-McCorkle.
âStanâŠâ Ford starts a little exasperated, trying to catch her attention, but not so much that she would turn around to look at him in all his not so glorious desperation. Just⊠enough to listen to reason.
âFooooordâŠâ Stan calls back mockingly, but sheâs listening, which is all Ford could ask for. Itâs his chance to make a solid, logical argument.
âYouâre making a mistake.â
Which is a fact. Not one taken too lightly when he catches Stan rolling her eyes in the reflection of the mirror, however, but still very much a fact. It is a mistake, and if Ford is in his right mind, which he always is, then heâs doing the right thing, trying to talk his sister out of it.
Unfortunately, Stanley had just the habit of being on the opposite side of a right mind.
Carlos McCorkle is the most popular guy in their grade, especially among the gaggles of young women. With his âhot pants and smooth movesâ (Stanâs descriptors, which Ford couldnât roll his eyes enough to) heâs made a name for himself as a rival to many other teenage boys in their school and a goal to every girl to stand by his side as designated eye-candy and probably more.
In other words: Carlos was a womanizer. And that never bothered Ford. It never even crossed his mind for even a second before, just like Carlos himself.
Until now. Now that the prickâs new pickings is Fordâs twin sister. Now that itâs Stan.
Itâs blood boiling, more than anything, to think that not even a month ago, the guy had barely glanced at Stanâs way, brushing her off as the freakâs twin sister. But one second swoop, and everything just changes, as if planned by the universe. And Ford hated that. It just wasnât logical. It had to be a ploy, a well thought out plan by the universe to punish him.
There was a piece that would lead to one night, Stan would be standing in the line of a movie theater to âGrandpa The Kid: The Movieâ, and a scumbag would attempt to rob her. There were pieces that fell together when the boxing classes Stan had been taking for months for self defense in the one instance of good parenting their father has ever given her had honed her reflexes and strength enough to sock the man in the jaw. There was the giant, annoying piece of the fact that Carlos McCorkle was there and Ford wasnât. Too caught up doing homework instead of spending time with his sister like heâd originally promised and he could have protected her because thatâs what brothers do. Ford may be a wimpâ he doesnât know how much his presence wouldâve actually helped. But heâd do whatever it takes to protect Stan. Swearing up and down so she didnât have to do it herself.
But she did. And she was catching Carlos' eye all the while, as if she fucking proved herself for his sake that sheâs good enough to be his new girlfriend.
Thatâs what Ford understood of it at least, when she came home giggly and red face from still pulsing adrenaline and blushing, gushing about him and their date when dread quickly but so very painfully crawled into Fordâs chest at the very idea he could have lost his sister right then and there and he wouldnât have even known. Stan obviously wasnât grasping the reality of the situation, leading to a big fight about that. Theyâve made up, thankfully, but it hasnât stopped Stan from mentioning Carlosâ name every other second of the day like a love sick dame.
âYou know his reputation, Stan, even more than I do,â Ford points out, watching as Stan finally finishes combing through half dried hair into what Ford just assumes is an acceptable amount of fluff. His eyes follow her hand as she reaches into her underwear drawer.
Stan shrugs. âEh, so what?â
âSo whatâ?â Ford sputters, flabbergasted. âStanââ
âIâm just sayinâ, maybe Carlos dumped them for a good reason. It donât have to be âcuz heâs just a huge jerk, yaâknow?â
âEven you donât believe that,â Ford groans, crossing his arms and curling up to the wall. Stan is never that generous with her opinions on people. She must really like him.
âIf he is,â Stan starts again, a smile in her voice. âThis timeâs gonna be different. And heâll totally ditch the whole fuckboy thing when he sees me tonight. He wonât get enough of me!â
Bitterly, Ford pipes up again. âOh, Iâm sure he wonât be able to resist you.â
Which is a mistake beyond mistakes. Looking over her bare shoulder, Stan finally looks back at Ford for just a fleeting moment to throw him a wink. âCan anyone?â
Ford feels his brain melt into their synapses. Itâs what he gives as an excuse when instead of looking away, he watches Stan pull a lacy pair of panties over the length of her legs and disappear into the towel and somehow twist herself into a matching bra, which is so far a cry from her usual boxers and cheap bras combinations Ford has seen her slip into numerous times before.
Which is something heâs not particularly proud to admit, yet too desensitized to his own shame to really care anymore. He canât make up his mind if heâs relieved or offended Stan has never noticed his ogling.
Because on the opposite end: Ford knows he observes Stan a little too much and a little too hard. He blames it on the close proximity of their childhood room, cluttered with pieces that make up the two of them forcing them together. He blames it on the gap between them narrowing even further from the slit-thin space it already was. He blames it on how growing up, his sixth finger alone already made him âtoo bigâ anywhere else, unwelcomed in any space outside of the one he shared with his tomboyish, equally outcast sister Stan who he dragged down just by being related to him and who she used her girly fists to fight battles for him and made it worse, so all they had was each other.
He doesnât blame Stan though, even though thatâs the logical conclusion when his eyes snap back in attention to when her towel drops and all the things heâs seen, memorized and fantasized over the years pulls him like a magnet. Big things like the roundness of her hips and large mass of her thighs that would fill out her denim shorts to the little details, like the dips of fat on the garter of her underwear and the scar on the back of her leg and a mole and pimples by her shoulder blade. Stan was never bothered changing in front of Ford, the barrier of Boy and Girl not mattering to her when itâs between siblings, but Ford very, very much was. He couldnât help it, helpless to all the parts that make her so damn her.
Stan was just too noticeable, in the best way. Thatâs how Carlos got his eyes on her. Ford is again, stuck to seething, heat radiating under his skin for too many reasons, but biting his tongue and calming himself with the objective fact heâs currently the first to see Stan in her new garments. Of course the idea of another boy being able to is justâŠ
Stan finally pulls on her shirt and laces up her âswinging shoesâ. Finally facing and grinning at Ford with a new gleam in her eyes that made it so the one of the few identical aspects of them being fraternal twins almost unrecognizable to his own that Ford feels like smashing his glasses against his face.
âDonât wait up for me, Sixer,â Stan says, blowing him a kiss thatâs obviously just a joke but Ford internally catches it anyway, keeping it locked away in some deep vault in his mind because that's as good as he's ever going to get. Sheâs still humming when she exits the door, her brotherâs warnings (and okay, several complaints about Carlos being a shallow prick whoâs probably into tree huggers and Stan should dump him before it's too late) furthest from her mind.
Ford flops down onto Stanâs mattress. Like any twin bed, itâs cramped, and despite being a girl, she should know better than to hide her shorts under her pillow where perverted twin brothers might find it, but luckily Ford never bothers them. Itâs empty. it's suffocatingly empty, even with Ford here.
He has got to get out. Fordâs got to leave.
idk if this prompt has any scope, but I just liked the idea đđ
đđ§đđąđ§đąđđ đđšđŹđŹđąđđąđ„đąđđąđđŹ
Pairing: Miguel O'Hara x Reader
Summary: You have feelings for Miguel, so Jess and Peter decide to play cupid and help you out a bit :3
Warnings: None!! It's just pure fluff, silliness, paired with the classic best friends to lovers. Enjoy!!
You had a problem.
You had a very, very big problem.
Alright, so it wasnât that big of a problem, but it lingered on your mind day and night. From the moment you woke up to the moment you went to bed it was on your mind.
What was it, you ask?
You might, just maybe, have feelings for your best friend. Now, you knew the tropes. Best friends to loves was arguably one of, if not the best trope to have. But those were stories, this was real life. It made it all the harder when your best friend was Miguel OâHara, leader of the Spider Society.
Frankly, it was a miracle you even became friends with him in the first place. Somehow you had wormed your way into his heart and had the honour of being his closest friend. This however meant that it was highly unlikely for anything to progress further beyond the scope of platonic love.
This was a fact that you had grown to accept in the months of realizing your feelings. This didnât mean you didnât mope over it though.
~
âUgh,â you groaned loudly, your forehead pressed into the cafeteria table as you lamented your feelings out into the world. A happy giggle interrupts your swirling mess of thoughts, however, and you turn your head and are met with the sight of Peter B. and Mayday by your side.
Lifting your head up, you open your arms and Mayday happily climbs into your lap, babbling softly. You feel your heart warm a little as she played with your fingers, her red hair a mess as she laughs happily.
âCanât stay upset for long when this little one is around,â Peter says, smoothing out her hair that somehow only becomes more messy.
âThis sucks, Peter,â you whine to the man, and he smiles sympathetically.
âWeâve all been there yâknow,â and you only huff slightly. Peter was another one of your closest friends and the one you happened to rant to the most about your unspoken feelings.
âWould it hurt so much to just tell him?â he asks, and you whip your head over dramatically, a horrified expression on your face.
âI would quite literally rather take a dive straight down into Earth-67982 with all the gators than tell him,â you say, and Peter only snorts.
âCâmon, itâs not that bad! How do you expect to get anywhere if you never tell him how you actually feel about him,â he says, and while you knew he had a point you chose to disregard it.
âIâm perfectly happy where I am Peter. Single, and still with a best friend,â you say, but you sigh softly. âItâs not that easy anyway. Thereâs no way he likes me back, and it took him long enough to talk to me beyond anything superficial like the weather or the happenings of other universes. How am I supposed to confess to him,â you say, pinching Maydayâs cheek lightly. She scrunches her face up and you canât help the giggle that escapes.
âAh, relationship woes?â Jess jumps in, and you yelp in surprise while Mayday only laughs at your expense. You glare at her playfully and she imitates your expression in turn which makes everyone around the table laugh.
âWeâre not in a relationship, so I donât think it really counts as a ârelationship woeâ Jess,â you say, turning to the woman as she settles in next to you for lunch.
âYou could be in one if you mustered the guts to actually confess instead of pining for him like a lovesick teenager,â she says, and you shoot her a deadpanned look.
âThere is no way in the 7 hells that I am ever going to confess to him, I mean, just look at him,â you say, nodding over to where he was picking up his own lunch from across the hall. âIn the billions of possibilities that exist, there is not a single one where he likes me back.â
âDonât see yourself short, you never know,â Peter says as he and Jess share a look, cogs turning as they scheme their own plots.
~
You were just walking about the HQ, stopping periodically to talk to the Spiders you knew. It was your day off, and your own universe decided to be boring today so you figured what better place to hang around than Earth-928?
Well, it was supposed to be your day off, until your name is called over the intercom alongside Miguelâs, telling you both to come to the monitoring room.
With a groan, you nod to the Spider you were talking to before walking over.
âJess? Is something wrong?â you ask as you pop into the room, Miguel is already there and turns to nod to you in greeting which you return with a grin.
âThereâs a mission I need the two of you to go on,â she says offhandedly, swiping through the screens as she studies the universeâs events.
âBut Jess, it's my day off! There are literally hundreds of other spiders you could send on this mission,â you whine, the aches of the mission from yesterday still lingering on your body. Though almost imperceptibly she glances over at you, making it clear that there were hidden intentions behind this mission, and you press your lips together knowingly. You supposed she was in the mood to play Cupid.
âWhy do you need us specifically?â Miguel asks, eyes narrowing suspiciously. It was his day off too, you were about to go see him as he worked on all his gizmos, he still wore his work outfit in place of his regular suit.
âThis guyâs a bit of a tough one, so Lyla and I decided that we needed our best out in the field. Be ready to head out in 20, heâs already on the move,â she says, and you sigh lightly, unable to disobey orders.
Miguel only pats you on the shoulder.
âBold of you to assume you think you can order around the Leader of this place,â he says jokingly.
âI can order around anyone I want when the Leader puts me in charge for the day,â Jess retorts as she puts her hands on her hips.
âGood point,â he relents.
âUh-huh.â
âAlright, letâs get this over with,â you say to Miguel as you head out together.
~
ââŠwasnât this guy supposed to be a âtough oneââ you say, quoting the air as you stare down at the anomaly you were supposed to take down. Miguel only snorts in response before shrugging. There, in your line of sight was the anomaly; a snail that moved at a top speed of maybe 2 kilometres per hour that a single well-placed trap could take down in seconds.
âEasier for us,â Miguel says simply before swinging down and doing just that. Immediately the force field wraps the villain up like a present, and his mask disappears from his face as he looks over at you.
At that moment felt your heart skip a beat as he grins up at you playfully.
âAre you going to hang up there all day or are you gonna head back with me?â he calls out as a portal opens up, snapping you out of your stupor.
âC-coming!â
~
âPeter, why donât you get one of the younger spiders to babysit? Donât get me wrong, I love Mayday just as much as the next person but Iâm not that great with kids,â you say with a worried smile.
âThatâs why youâll have Miguel to help! I think you two will make a great team,â Peter says, handing Mayday over. You eye him suspiciously when the realization strikes.
âThis is all a ploy to get me and him together, isnât it?â you ask, and Peter puts on an oblivious face.
âWhat? No! No way, this is just a friend asking for a favour,â he replies.
âDonât lie! You and Jess have been up to something for the past week, that mission, the closet, and now this,â you huff.
âAlright, fine. Maybe we did plan this out, but maybe the two of you just need the push,â he says, a hand on the back of his neck sheepishly.
âPeter, he doesnât like me back. I know that already,â you say frustratedly, but sigh softly. âIâll help you out, but no more games alright?â
âAlright,â he relents. âThanks for this though. MJ and I havenât had time to ourselves in a while,â he says, and you give him an understanding look.
âWhat are friends for?â you smile.
~
âMayday! Get down from the ceiling, please?â you plead, watching as she babbles happily while crawling across the ceiling. You were right up there with her as Miguel stood on the floor with his hands on his hips, watching with blatant amusement.
âMiguel, a little help here please?â you ask him, and he only snorts.
âYou seem to be doing just fine,â he says, and you let out a groan. Finally he gives in to your pleading.
âSolecito, you wanna come down now? I think youâre going to give your babysitter a heart attack,â he says and immediately she drops down from the ceiling into his waiting arms. You let out a sigh of relief as you follow suit.
âShe only listens to you, I swear,â you say as you look at her, huffing softly.
âShe likes playing around, and you have the most reactions so youâre her main target,â he replies, and you boop her nose playfully.
âYouâre a little menace, arenât you.â She only babbles happily at that.
âIâm going to grab her lunch, will you be okay by yourself?â you ask Miguel, and he bounces her up and down as she giggles loudly.
âWeâll be just fine, wonât we chiquitita,â he says with a small smile. It makes your heart warm as you watch them play together. You knew how hard it was for Miguel to be around Mayday after losing his own daughter, but he seemed to truly adore the little girl. It was precious to watch.
âAlright, Iâll be right back.â
~
After searching aimlessly for a few minutes, and a couple of mishaps you finally have a small bowl of food to feed Mayday. When you come back into the living room, you find Miguel sitting on the floor with Mayday in his lap, a toy grasped in her hand.
âI think youâd make a really good parent if you ever want to have kids one day,â Miguel says offhandedly as he continues to watch over the little girl. You feel your cheeks warm in embarrassment at the compliment.
âSeems like the same would go for you, Miguel,â you say as you watch the two of them fondly. You canât help the thoughts that flash through your mind. The two of you, together, sitting in a nursery just like this one with a child of your own. It was far-fetched and would probably never happen, but it doesnât hurt to imagine all the âwhat-ifsâ.
âThough thatâs ironic of you to say considering I was just hanging on the ceiling trying to get her down not even 15 minutes ago,â you say, and he chuckles lightly.
âParenting isnât always smooth sailing, but you have a softness that makes the little ones feel safe. I see it when youâre with Mayday, even with the kids at HQ. Donât sell yourself short,â he says, glancing over at you before holding out his hand to take the food. Somehow you feel your face heat up even more as you sit down by his side.
âThanks, Miguel,â you say softly, and he only hums in response.
~
After all the events of the last week, you find yourself lost in all your swirling feelings. All those possibilities, all those moments you spend with Miguel wishing that they were more, it quickly became overwhelming. Itâs why you find yourself trekking up to the observatory of HQ.
This was your favourite spot to come to when you were stuck in your head. Very few of the Spiders knew about it, which made it the perfect hiding spot when you wanted to be alone with your thoughts.
The ceiling panned up into a dome of intricate glass, allowing the light of the stars to shine through. Though realistically it was more the light of the futuristic Nueva York, the city that never sleeps. It didnât make it any less beautiful though.
âSo this is where youâve been,â a voice cuts through the silence, and you jump slightly as you turn around to face Miguel who only chuckles at your expense.
âYou found me,â you say softly, smiling at him though it doesnât quite meet your eyes. A look of concern washes over his face, and you wince.
He could always read you too well.
For a moment you just sit there in the silence, the only thing breaking the quiet being his soft footsteps as he approached you. Every step he took had your heart racing faster and faster until finally, he was by your side. Glancing at him, you see that heâs already looking at you, and there was something on his mind.
âDo you like me?â he asks softly, and you turn away from him, instead choosing to look out through the windows. Slowly, you sigh, still unwilling to make eye contact.
âDo you want me to be honest?â you say just as softly.
âI do.â
A lump forms in your throat as you fidget with your hands a bit, wondering if you should just lie. If that would make this any easier.
It was hard for you to be vulnerable with people, from a young age you were conditioned to hide how you felt because it made you seem weak. And even worse, you were told it made you a burden on other people.
You never wanted to be a burden.
It was hard for you to be honest with your feelingsâŠespecially if they were about how you felt about someone you loved. You think this is the first time youâve ever loved someone like this, and you swallow harshly at the thought.
âI doâŠlike you,â you whisper finally so that only his ears could hear. âI know it's cliche, but it's nothing but the truth when I say that Iâve never felt, felt feelings with anyone else the way I do with you,â you ramble, realizing that once you started you werenât able to stop yourself.
âIt makes me scared, Miguel. Feeling this way? I donât know how to do this,â you gesture between the two of you, but still hesitating to look into those beautiful crimson eyes you adored so much.
âYouâre my favourite person. Throughout every universe, every infinite possibility itâs still true. And Iâm scared because it seems like throughout my life every single time I have something good it slips out from beneath me, and I canât afford to lose you. I, I canât,â you say, a single tear trickling down your cheek.
For a moment he doesnât speak, and the car falls silent until he inhales lightly.
âThatâŠis a possibility, itâs true. Maybe what we have, what we could have wonât work out. But maybe weâre that one possibility where us together is possible,â he says as he takes your hand into his own. It was warm.
So warm.
Finally, you dare to look into his eyes, and inside them, you find a swirling storm of emotions that you get lost in.
âCan we do this? Do you think we can?â you ask hesitantly.
âAs long as youâre willing to try, mi vida,â he says, squeezing your hand lightly.
âI thinkâŠI want to try,â you say softly, and his eyes immediately brighten up like the sun rising over the horizon, lighting up everything in its path. He smiles at you, and you canât help but smile back.
âCan I kiss you?â he asks, and all you can do is nod as you feel your heart jump to your throat in anticipation. Youâve never wanted to do anything more.
Gently his hand rises up, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear before settling on your cheek as he leans in. You close your eyes as his lips touch yours, and a small happy sound escapes your throat.
It didnât feel like how the love stories described how your first kiss would be, with explosions and fireworks.
No. It felt like the first breath of fresh air on a warm sunny day. Like the heat of a fire after a long day in the cold.
Kissing your best friend was like coming home, a comfort in every sense and oh so right.
After a few seconds that felt like an eternity condensed into a single moment, Miguel pulls away. You look up at him with teary eyes, not tears of sadness but instead pure and utter joy as you smile brightly.
âI think this might be the start of something wonderful,â you say to him.
âI think so too, mi vida.â
TEASER: Cooper âThe Ghoulâ Howard x female!OC - The Traderâs Daughter
I just wanted to hop on here and share a little bit of what Iâve been working on to contribute to the Cooper Howard fangirls đđ Please let me know your thoughts and feedback is always appreciated!!
Synopsis:
Daisy is the daughter of an ex-vault dweller/wasteland forager named Josiah, who escaped the vault when she was only a child. In his time exploring the wasteland for the benefit of the vault, Josiah meets Cooper âThe Ghoulâ Howard, who becomes a lifelong acquaintance after a few heated run-ins. Cooper pulls some strings and uses his connections to get Josiah a safe place for him and his daughter, where Josiah becomes a trader of chems and anything else you could want from a trading post.
The Ghoul goes out of his way to make sure Josiah and his flower are well taken care of, and Josiah makes sure that Cooper gets the chems he needs to ward off going feral. Throws in some extra when he sees that Coopâs making an effort to get his kid to gain basic survival skills. (Thereâs totally a âthey were roommatesâ vibe between her dad and Cooper, but Iâm not going too in depth on any of that) Daisyâs just thankful to have a fun time when her Coop comes to visit.
As the years go by, Cooperâs visits to the shop become less frequent, stopping completely when our protagonist is 14. Daisy never stops thinking about the man who her dad trusted more than anyone in the wasteland, the ghoul who frequently went out of his way to bring her small trinkets from his travels as a bounty hunter.
Cooper returns to the trading post after over a decade. Except now, the once welcoming community has become more barbaric, with less smiling faces and more fighting and outlaws. By all means, it was your average wasteland town. Heâs surprised to walk into Josiahâs trading post and see a breathtaking young woman come out from the back room, the type of woman men would go to war over in ancient times.
Shocked to see her ghoul standing in front of her, seeing him for the first time as a grown woman, with a grown woman brain and a grown woman body. Daisy had spent many years thinking about him, developed a crush in her teenage years that had bloomed in her chest for a decade. She knew that there was nothing there, there couldnât be, he was her fatherâs closest acquaintance for years. Heâd watched her grow up, essentially. No way she had a chance, but still, it didnât hurt to yearn for the irradiated cowboy.
- so yeah. Thatâs like, the gist of whatâs going on so far, itâs definitely not fully fleshed out, but I wanted to post some kind of teaser/synopsis of what Iâve got written messily in my notes app đ
I want this to be multi part, not sure how many parts yet, but I definitely have at least 4 sections of blurbs in my notes that are going to turn into 4 parts. Itâll be slow burn, definitely a little big of dadâs best friend cooper (Iâm just a girl, I canât help it), definitely some daddy issues at some point, and diverges from canon probably a LOT because Iâve got a general idea of the fallout universe but itâs by no means comprehensive. The first part/chapter is probably gonna be her background, why her dad escaped the vault/maybe how he got acquainted with cooper.
- I also havenât written anything in years, so be gentle with me đ
hi sarah đ„°
itâs so hard to find regular blue lock writers omg
can i make a request? itâs alright if you canât tho
can i request the reader meeting chigiriâs mother and sister after the u20 match? i feel like itâd be so funny bc they kinda embarrassed him during the match by calling out to him lmao đ
imagine him getting embarrassed by them in front of his gf (who they didnât know about until they saw her at the u20 match, sheâs like the manager of bllk) and he tries to drag her away but ends up getting teased by his sister đ„°
Hii, ikr? I'm dying to find a good bllk ffc author đ©
Just woke up, had breakfast and went straight on it đ«Ą
Hope you like it!
Warnings: Implied fem!reader Words: 627 Disclaimer: English isn't my first language so I apologise for any mistakes or misunderstandings!
The stadium buzzed with excitement as the U-20 match between Blue Lock and their rivals reached its climax. Chigiri's performance on the field was incredible, his skill and determination evident with every move. Meanwhile, in the stands, you watched intently, the official manager of Blue Lock, cheering on the team you had grown so close to.
As the match concluded with Blue Lock's victory, the players celebrating in the field with the enthusiastic cheers of the crowd as background. You couldn't be more proud of them, a bunch of teenager boys- your teenager boys- just win against profesional team. Chigiri, in the middle of celebreting his win with his teamates, locked eyes with you.
You smiled brightly, so brightly that your watery eyes were half-closed by your big smile. Chigiri start running at your spot in the stands, ready to start a conversation with you.
"Hey, we win" he said breathlessly, a broad smile on his face as he reached you.
"I know, baby! You did it so well I'm so proud of you!" you replied with enthusiasm, jumping to give him a big bear hug. "You guys did it! You guys won- and you're my guys! My boyfriend just won against Japans u-20!
Chigiri just laughed as he lifted you off the ground and spun you around.
Before your conversation could continue, a voice interrupted from behind. "Chigiri!"
Letting you down, you turned around and you saw a woman approaching, her features mirroring Chigiri's in a softer, maternal way. Beside her was a younger girl, who bore a striking resemblance to Chigiri.
"Mom, Sis," Chigiri exclaimed, a mix of delight and apprehension in his voice.
His mother's eyes twinkled with pride. "You were amazing out there, sweetie! We're so proud of you."
Chigiri's sister nodded in agreement, but whe her gaze shifted to you she grinned mischievously. "And who's this? You're not gonna introduce her to us?" she asked, her tone playful.
Chigiri's cheeks reddened slightly. "Uh, this is y/n," he introduced, glancing at you nervous but happily. "She's the team manager... and my girlfriend." He ended up with a big soft smile
Both his mother and sister looked pleasantly surprised. "Oh, we didn't know you had a girlfriend!" his mother exclaimed, her smile widening.
"And a beautiful one!" his sister continued while she gave you a smile. "Damn, Chigiri," she teased, her eyes dancing with amusement. "You never told us you had such good taste in girlfriends."
Chigiri's embarrassment finally showed, and he tried to subtly nudge you away. "Mom, Sis-please." he muttered.
Chigiri's face turned an even brighter shade of red, much to the amusement of his family. You couldn't help but chuckle at the scene unfolding before you.
"It's a pleasure finally meeting you, Chigiri has told me a lot of things about you." You decided to step in, giving them a little but a respectful bow.
His mother beamed. "Well, it's lovely to finally meet you too. You must come over for dinner sometime."
"Who knew that the boy who used to make dance shows for his family would get a girlfriend? Where did our little singer, dancer and hairdresser go huh?" His sister said teasing.
Chigiri shot you an imploring look, silently begging for some form of rescue. But his sister only grinned wider, clearly enjoying her older brother's predicament.
As you exchanged pleasantries with Chigiri's family, you couldn't help but feel a surge of affection for this young man who had captured your heart. Despite his embarrassment, seeing him interact with his loved ones-and knowing you're one of them made your heart skipped a beat- filled you with warmth. Maybe, just maybe, these unexpected family encounters would be a new chapter in your relationship with Chigiriâa chapter that both of you will be expecting with enthusiasm.
Idk what I just write, I did my best so here you go :)
Please, feel free so send more request! I have a whole month free 'cause I'm getting recovered from a surgery so I have a lot of time.
a/n: There might be parts or sentences that might offend you. Please take them with a grain of salt. They are for the plot to make sense. Remember, this is all purely fiction. You're reading fan fiction.
It would be a blatant lie to say there are no pros to being -what today's society considers- beautiful because her beauty has gotten her this far. From being a mere teenager some years ago, she went on to being one of the top models in the world doing endless shows, endorsing brands one after another, and being in advertisements. Her beauty allowed her to pay her parents back for the support they've always given her, it allowed her to buy them a luxurious house, dress them in luxurious clothing, it allowed her siblings to buy cars, and live in nice apartments with their partners.
Now here's the problem. Men want her. Women do as well but it's not the same. One would stalk you, and be so obsessed with you to the point you have to think of implementing restraining orders against them while the other, wouldn't even think of reaching such lengths. Even if they do, it can't be as scary. Being a woman this successful at her young age has equal, if not more, cons than pros. One glance at someone at a private party of some multi-millionaire and they think you're in love with them. Of course, they would, not just anybody attends these parties. With the amount of money they have, their entire personality is based on that which allows them to delude themselves into thinking anybody wants them while completely forgetting the fact that she is an independent woman who has just as much money as them.
She is not as easy as the media portrays her to be. Surely a grown woman like her would pursue someone who interests her, especially, when she can have whoever she wants but that doesn't mean she dates everyone she lies her eyes upon just for the heck of it. When you're a woman who is pretty and rich and successful, doesn't want people to deem her as beauty with no brains. People are bound to hate you. Even women. You'll hear from TV the countless men she 'broke the hearts of', them claiming she is a succubus who seduced them but is it truly what happens?
She doesn't have time for that. To be frank, she rarely has time for herself, let alone men, which leads to unfortunate short-lasting relationships with each man. And men being men, they would spread lies about her to the media for attention. She just lets them. They are jealous that she does not feel hung up on them after the breakup. They are jealous that she moves on just as quickly as they do. Truthfully, almost every man she has dated thought of her as a prize to win, to possess, and once they got her, they no longer treated her as nicely, no longer treated her as an equal. The lack of respect became evident and it was crystal clear they'd continue to think she is some dumb pretty girl who earned easy money.
Her friends? There are no real friends when you are self-made rich, especially in this industry. Her ex-colleagues hate her, wondering how long her career will last since they want her to fall from grace the way they did. Yet, they still keep tabs on her, whisper fake compliments to her ears, and be on her nice side just in case they need her for a favour one day. Whatever friends she has for the time being are her managers, public relations team, personal makeup artists, and stylists who would leave her just as fast as they appeared her my life. They would move on to work for someone who would benefit them whenever. Wherever she goes, people would talk behind her back, and more often than not it's never something nice.
She got lonely. Throwing countless parties every time she got a bit of time for herself only to have more people have things to gossip about, and more lies to tell the media. More 'friends' going behind her back and posting countless pictures of the parties That's how many people know her. A successful top model, a player, and a party girl.
She met Gavi at an after-party of the brand of a product they both endorsed for. They needed to interact for the sake of working for the same brand but she tried her best to avoid him. Engaging in small talk only, in case people start to talk about how she targeted a football athlete to lure this time. She needed none of that drama. However, she has enjoyed football all her life and watched matches whenever she could. Nobody needed to know that, she didn't need people around her to go, "Oh, so you like football? Name-" Thus she already knew how Gavi plays and how well he does so. The second time they met was after her PR team suggested it would be good for her image to go watch Barcelona FC's match live as they both became colleagues recently. She was already impressed by his skills but after she got to watch it live, she was beyond impressed.
After the match, this time, however, the small talk was avoided. She was way too enthusiastic to prevent herself from spilling compliments laced with deep football knowledge on their team's performance which received positive responses but a quite remarkable expression from the said colleague. While she was leaving, he followed behind, which he must've been told by someone to do out of politeness.
"So, what was that reaction?" She stopped and raised a brow at him.
A flush appeared on his face before he blinked rapidly to reply, "I-I wasn't expecting you to-"
"-know about football?"
He aggressively shook his head, eyes widening, "No! I wasn't expecting you to miss out on your schedules to watch our game."
"How do you know that?" She cornered him.
"You're famous. How would I not know? We were told about it." He gulped.
"Is that so?" An amused smile appeared on her face as she crossed her arms over her chest. "Or did you search me?"
He finally looked her in the eye properly, "Do you do that to everyone?"
There you go. She lets out an annoyed sigh, rolling her eyes while doing so, "Of course, you'd think that. Just like everyone."
"I don't know what you mean by that but I am having a hard time here being teased by one of the prettiest women ever so, you should have mercy on me." His face morphed into a flirtatious expression which surprised her.
Her mouth widened before she sent a smile at him, "Dear, don't you worry. It's nothing harmful. Plus, you're a kid."
"I'm eighteen and you're older than me by barely two or three years. Who are you calling kid?"
"Woah, how do I formally apologise then?"
"You can start by befriending me."
And indeed, they were friends. In fact, Gavi was the closest and most real friend she has ever had. Him being around her age helped a lot. Their sense of humour matched. He wasn't rude or disrespectful, he'd always listen. He wouldn't hesitate to voice out exactly what he thought about something and she did the same. She listened to him vent when he wasn't performing well despite trying his best. She listened to him voice out his frustration, she tried her best to understand him and be there for him whenever he rang. Gradually they began to find time for themselves to hang out and with her experience, they sneaked out successfully without getting caught. Away from the cameras, away from the stares.
And then, they became more than friends.
ĂĂĂ
If anyone took a peek at Gavi's mind they'd probably laugh at how ridiculous the new information would be to them. Gavi? Spain's youngest player? The youngest player in his country to score a goal in the world cup? Someone so successful at his young age is insecure? What for?
His eyes trail across the dark room with colourful flashes of light and lands on his girlfriend. The woman wanted by everyone. He sees some men hit on her only to be met with a tight-lipped smile that politely told them to back off. In order to maintain a peaceful relationship, they keep it a secret from the world, from the scrutiny of people, and from the unsolicited comments of journalists that could sabotage it and disrupt their peace. It's certainly much better this way but it also has its cons as one can see.
Gavi clenches his jaw with a pointed stare at other men approaching her and engaging in conversations. Her gown is black with a slit that starts from the top of her right thigh. She looks absolutely gorgeous. Not only in his eyes but in everyone's as well. He notices one of the men give her a once-over, making sure to check her out before he has to leave her be. One can tell his veins are pulsing as he clenches his jaw harder and begins to breathe noisily. Her eyes finally catch his across the room, his breath almost hitches at the sight of her subtle smile for him but his head is too preoccupied with other emotions at the moment.
As she begins to approach him, he stalks away towards the exit's direction and informs his manager that he isn't going to stay in this event any longer. He drives off to his house in his car without her, it's not like they can get into one car in front of people anyway. Not long after she arrives. Her eyebrows are drawn together in concern as she tilts her head to look him in the eye, grabbing him by the shoulders. "Babe, are you okay?"
It's as if her touch has magic, all of his anger dissipates in an instant. He feels vulnerable. He tries to look back into her eyes, only to fail to do so as he ducks his chin. The look of concern doesn't leave her face as she notices that. Her hands begin to rub his shoulders as she whispers, "Will you tell me what was that at the event? You seemed angry."
Now he feels like a complete jerk. He seemed to be angry at her when in fact it wasn't the case. He feels stupid for walking away from her and driving off without letting her know like an immature person. She doesn't deserve this. He closes his eyes, taking a deep breath before heaving it. Opening his eyes to look into hers, he mumbles a sorry quietly.
She frowns at that before grabbing his hands to make him sit on the sofa behind them and settles beside him. Her hands reach to hold his face, her fingers softly trailing from the apples of his cheek to his chin. "Don't be sorry. There must be a reason you're angry. I've never actually seen you angry so it's worrying me."
"It's just that," he rakes a hand into his hair, sighing. "the way they look at you made me so angry. I couldn't do anything on top of that. Everyone wants you but then again you told me about how you were treated in your previous relationships so that makes me angrier."
She gets up to sit on his lap and wraps an arm around his neck, the other hand holding his chin. "That makes a lot of sense. I hope you realise that your feelings are valid. I can see why you are angry or frustrated or whatever you're feeling right now. Okay?"
He nods his head in response.
She leans closer, her face merely an inch or two away from his. Tilting his chin with her hand, she looks directly at him, "Next time you're mad, just ring me and let it out. Say what you gotta say. I will do the same. Do you get it?"
He lets out a chuckle at that before grabbing her face in his hands and pulls her head towards him to engulf her lips with his into a kiss. She giggles at first but it transpires into them making out for some time before she breaks off to land a peck on his forehead.
"Will you keep playing my knight in shining armour this way for a long time?" He pretends to think while asking that.
"Toxic masculinityâŠ" she huffs while rolling her eyes.
His eyebrows shoot up at the accusation. "I only called you that as a compliment."
"Sounded like a mockery to me." She accuses him yet again, narrowing her eyes playfully at him.
This time he rolls his eyes before a sarcastic smile takes over, "I was a minute away from crying into your shoulders. Is that toxic masculinity?"
She laughs at that before muttering, "Well, seeing you cry would've been a sight to behold though."
"What!?"
ĂĂĂ
They fall asleep cuddling, after watching an old action movie to laugh at the CGI. Gavi wakes up first and spends a good amount of time staring at her sleeping face, finding it adorable. There is an embarrassing lovestruck look on his face that he prefers to keep secret from her.
"Take a picture, it will last longer." She mumbles from her sleep to which he jumps away.
"You scared me." He clutches his chest with widened eyes. "Since when have you been awake!?"
"Long enough to know you're a creep." She smirks, her eyes still closed.
"Oh, is that so?"
"I don't like that tone of yours, Pablo." She says before opening one eye to check what he is up to, only to see his hands reach for his neck. "Omg, you're not doing that. You know how ticklish I am there, I'll kill you."
"Too late."
"You're so- O MY GOD- done when I catch you."
Me after waking up and seeing that one of my favorite poster reblogged one of my posts:
Anyways more BTB headcanons!!
Su Namgoong
General Headcanons:
- Su keeps his workspace spotless. Everything is organized down to the last pencil, and he gets a little annoyed when anyone messes with his setupâeven if itâs just shifting a book.
- No matter how late heâs been working, Su always shows up looking put together. He might be exhausted, but heâll never let anyone know (but a certain someone does notice it and nags him about his horrible sleeping schedule). His students wonder if he ever sleeps.
- Su doesnât like wasting time, especially with small talk. He prefers to get to the point in conversations and is often surprised when people want to chat about unrelated things.
- Even though he rarely talks about his likes and dislikes, Su has a special appreciation for tea. He knows a lot about different kinds and sometimes treats himself to an expensive blend when heâs had a long day. (Now Iâm starting to question which type of tea he would likeđđ)
- Su feels out of place in big gatherings and prefers quiet spaces where he can relax and focus. He avoids busy events whenever he can and only shows up if itâs really necessary.
- Said this once, said it twice and even thrice but Iâm still gonna keep saying it. He takes care of his appearance, he has a skin care routine and a lip care routine.
Family Headcanons:
(Iâm using information that I have read from the server so I might be wrong here)
- Suâs little sister sometimes draws pictures for him, and he keeps them neatly in a drawer. Even if theyâre simple, he treasures them and looks at them on hard days to cheer up.
- Around his father, stepmother, and brothers, Su keeps his guard up. Heâs polite and respectful, but he rarely lets his real feelings show. This makes family gatherings tense, but itâs his way of protecting himself.
- Even though Su doesnât respond to their bullying, heâs learned to distance himself from his brothers. Heâll stay civil but never gets too close, knowing that they donât see him as an equal. Itâs hurtful, but heâs grown used to it.
- Heâs very aware of how his family sees him, especially the cautious looks from his stepmother and the whispers between his brothers. Su acts like he doesnât care, but he remembers every word, letting it fuel his determination. (This man can HOLD a grudge.)
- His father doesnât often show praise, but every now and then, heâll give Su a quiet nod or a single approving comment. These moments stick with Su, as rare as they are, and remind him that he still has a place in the family.
Yeomin
(I sometimes forget that sheâs a grown woman and not a teenagerđ)
General Headcanons:
- Growing up having to fend for herself, Yeomin is fiercely independent. Sheâs not used to asking for help and tries to handle things on her own, even when itâs tough.
- Yeomin is quick to stand up for herself if anyone questions her past or her decisions. She feels proud of her journey, even if itâs been hard, and wonât let anyone look down on her.
-Yeomin carries a small charm in her pocket that she used to hold onto before performances. I like to think that it was given to her by her mother, itâs a little reminder that she isnât alone
- If she ever hears anybody disrespecting a female, sheâll beat them up with no hesitation.
- Although she moved on from her dancing days, Yeomin misses it sometimes. When sheâs alone, she might practice a few steps, finding comfort in the familiar movements.
âââââââââ
Was only gonna do Su but realized there is like 0 stuff on my queen Yeomin. She doesnât get enough recognition for all the shenanigans those boys make her go through đđ
Hi! Fic Anon here.
After seeing so many opinions on Eloise I just want her to hide behind me while I defend and protect her đ. Like they accuse her of being a pick me or "not a girl's girl" or having the "not like other girls".
And these are all Penelope's fans. Seeing that make me dislike her even more. I like Penelope but as an anti hero or villain, she could have been so interesting.
Eloise has valid reasons for not wanting to get married and even if she doesn't understand why other girls would want to get married but she still respects it (as far as I remember).
It has been a while since I have watched s 1 and 2 (and I haven't even gotten started on 3 due to prior commitments lol) but many people accuse her of being a bad friend to Penelope, was she really a bad friend as many accuse her to be?
Have a nice day!
Hi Fic Anon!!!!!!
I donât think she was that bad of a friend - I think she was a teenage girl who tend to be a bit self-absorbed. Besides if we are going to accuse Eloise of being a bad friend we have to do the same to Penelope, and thatâs without evening taking her nasty alter ego into account because they are both equally self-absorbed in season 1 & 2. Eloise just talks at Penelope while Penelope doesnât share anything with Eloise, their self-absorption presents differently so itâs easier for people to attack Eloise for being a bad friend. But as I said in my On Eloiseâs Obsession with Whistledown post, the secrets Penelope kept from Eloise makes her a bad friend as well.
Like Eloise might talk primarily about herself and not ask after Penelope enough but Penelope has been known to abandon Eloise at events to spend time with other friends (e.g. the art gallery scene in season 1 that I made a bit more dramatic in my fic).
Eloise totally had extremely valid reasons for not wanting to marry, and the historical reality is that a lot of women of various means didnât get married. Jane Austen didnât marry, and she was impoverished gentry.
It is just that Eloiseâs greatest crime is that she is a character that is anti-marriage in a romance show. A good chunk of the fans that are here for the fluffy fun are going to have their backs put up by a character who disdains the fluff they love so much.
But Eloise is not a pick me. Categorically. She is not interested in performing the hyperfeminity her society expects but she is absolutely not a pick me.
A pick me is a girl that pretend to like the things boys traditionally likes and disdains the tongs women traditionally like because she thinks that she will be more successful finding a boy to date that way.
Eloise is categorically uninterested in attracting a man. She is not interested in the limited feminine pursuits on offer, but unlike a modern woman who has a whole range of things she can do, Eloiseâs movements and choices are hyper-restricted.
It is not being a pick me or not like other girls to be uninterested in music, drawing and decorative embroidery, the three main pursuits it was acceptable for a woman to have.
Further if you watch the show you will see that Eloise isnât actually rude to other women. She is rude to Daphne, who is her sister so thatâs a completely different relationship, and she is rude to Cressida because Cressida (as much as I love her now) is a bitch. But she isnât rude to women.
She is loving and admiring of Penelope and her opinions, and she doesnât really socialise with other women in season 1 and 2.
In season 3 part 1 she is actively trying to make friends, and while she isnât interested in other womenâs pursuits, she makes a witty comment, that all the other women find funny. And she treats Cressida like the grown intelligent woman she is, and is probably the first person to ever do so. Even the sister relationship we see this season is loving and respectful, Eloise wouldnât make the choices Francesca is making but she respects the wisdom of her sister doing so and actively helps her to try and have the quiet functional season she dreams of.
No Eloise is rude to men. A man makes a sexist comment she leaves him on the dance floor. Theo assumes she is vapid, she insults his intelligence. A man makes a dumb comment about collecting books, she rolls her eyes and makes a passive aggressive remark.
How can she be a pick me pretending to disdain embroidery for a manâs interest, when she a) is genuinely uninterested in embroidery, b) tries to be polite when women discuss it and c) ISNT INTERESTED IN ATTRACTING A MAN!!!
Its just tiring Fic Anon, because all of these characters could be soooo rich, Eloise and Penelope and Cressida and Benedict and Colin - all of them, if the show and the fans treated them with respect and sincerity
But the show isnât actually interested in making a good interesting show, they are interested in keeping people watching through simple but dramatic stories
Anyway, thank you for this message Fic Anon! I love when you message because I get to think about these things in detail
Happy Valentine's Day everyone! <3
i'm sorry i couldn't with this picture đ
A couple seconds after, you saw a familiar figure walking down the street. And your face lit up even more.
***
You stood by the window witnessing the aftermath of a sunny day â people smiling, birds singing, life awakening all around. This sight brought a smile to your face as well.
'Tis the damn day.
Every year Leon would do this. Never has he ever forgotten to buy you your favourite flowers for Valentine's Day. Although he wasn't that good at remembering dates, there were a few he never allowed himself to skip. Today was one of them.
You continued to watch him walk towards the door of your apartment building until he disappeared under the windowsill. He was smiling.
Damn, Leon. You thought to yourself.
He always made you feel like that.
Loved. So loved and appreciated you forgot any other feeling existed. Like there was nothing except this very moment, this very warmth that spread all throughout you and beyond.
Oh, he was an expert at this.
You heard the keys turning the door, like a sweet chime filling in the room. You felt yourself tingle as if you were not a grown-up married woman, but a little teenage girl waiting for her knight in shining armour to burst into the tower.
"Where's my girl?" Leon's voice unfolded across the place, being a perfect balance of cheesy, confident, and frisky.
"She's right here. Blushing already, by the way. Did you see how many women looked at you when you passed the street? They must be devilishly jealous."
"Wait, so you were spying on me?" Oh, such an actor.
"How could I not spy on such a handsome man?"
"Fair point there." He gives you the flowers, kissing you swiftly on the lips. "These are for you, gorgeous."
You return the kiss, accepting the flowers.
"They're wonderful, Leon. You're wonderful."
"Oh, I know that. You fell for my charm years ago and you're still under the spell, aren't you?" He embraced you, smiling so wholeheartedly that your own heart skipped a beat.
"You're damn right, handsome." You said, filling a glass vase with water and putting the flowers in.
Leon gave you another smile before his eyes lit up, a rare, but familiar spark that appeared whenever Leon had something on his mind.
"Let's go walk around a little."
***
And you went. Trekking for the closest park, you two finally felt... Normal. Yes, normal. Like a couple that spends every weekend like this. It was... A nice change.
Having reached the park, you seated on a bench. And then, a young teenage boy came over to the two of you. He addressed Leon.
"Hello! For 1$, can I make up a Valentine's Day song for you and your girlfriend?"
Leon chuckled. "Sure, why not. Anything for my lovely wife."
"Oh, wife! I'm sorry!"
"It's okay, sweetie." You said.
Leon searched through his pockets, putting out a 5$ banknote and handing it to the boy whose eyes immediately lit up. Leon said:
"This your business or something, kid? Consider it an investment."
"Whoa, thank you so much! It really means a lot! Can you, uh, can you please tell me your names?"
You spoke up first. "Y/n."
"Leon." No, but he didnât have to sound so hot while simply saying his name.
"Got it!"
The boy took a couple seconds to take a big breath in.
And started singing.
"Roses are re-ed!"
A smile glistened on both faces â yours and Leon's. The young man carried on.
"Violets are blu-ue!" He chanted.
You couldn't help but smile even wider. The little guy was really putting his soul into this.
"Happy Valentine's Day, Y/n! Leon loves you!"
After a swift moment of somewhat awkward silence, you applauded. Seeing it, Leon repeated your gesture and reassuringly looked at the boy. Oh, we love a supportive husband.
The boy was quick to leave. Probably looking for his next clients.
You and Leon exchanged glances.
"Well, that was something." Leon grinned.
"The little singer's definitely trying his best. Let's give him credit for that."
"Yeah, we definitely should."
You two sat there for a couple more minutes, cherishing the present moment. It was a rare occasion for you and Leon to go out somewhere just like normal people. It wasn't just about his job. Leon has never really been the type of person to spend a lot of time outside the apartment you share. That's why your quality time together is usually pretty domestic, but it doesn't lessen the meaningness of it. Reoccurring death sentences made you both learn to appreciate the simple moments.
Because life gets tough. You both learned it the hard way, many times. When your husband came home all bruised. When you spent sleepless nights questioning if he's even alive, never being able to contact him. When Leon woke up after nightmares where he would lose you again, and again, and again. When he was sure that he was not gonna make it out. When he was so afraid he would not be able to come back to you, goddamn, this fear was consuming, sucking on his soul. But he came back. And he will keep coming back no matter what he has to face â he took an oath he would.
That's why this solace moment felt like mending a heart's wound. In times like this, you felt that you two could actually heal one day. Heal from the fear, heal from this never-ending trauma. You didn't even know if it was actually possible, but you tried. You both tried your best. Being with each other helped you carry through all of this. You shared each other's burdens and it made life a little more bearable.
"I wanted to tell you something," Leon says, his tone soft and discreet.
"What is it?" You ask, turning to his side and looking him in the eyes.
"It's really nothing. It's just something I had on my mind for a while. You know I'm not very good at vocalising these kinda things. But I felt like today's occasion was a good reason to speak up on this."
You decided to play it off sarcastically. "Oh-oh. Sounds serious. If we weren't already married, I would've thought you are proposing."
"Oh, come on. I'm about to say something good for once."
You giggled. "I'm just kidding. Of course, love, go on."
Leon tilted towards you a little. "I wanted to say thank you. For everything, really. For every time you've been there for me. For staying with me. For choosing me. Not gonna lie, when I was younger I wasn't even sure I would ever find anyone who would be alright with what I do. I kind of accepted it, that I would end up alone. But here I am. Happier than I ever was. With you. Saying cheesy pick-up lines every time I see you wake up by my side."
You smiled warmly.
"Leon, I know you like the back of my hand. You're such a hopeless romantic. I've seen this in your eyes the very moment you said «I love you» for the first time. I will never forget that look you gave me. You still look at me like that sometimes and every goddamn time my heart flutters. I felt like all of my previous... situationships that cut me to the core were worth it."
"It's like in that song you like. What was it? Without all the exes, fights, and flaws..."
"We wouldn't be standing here so tall. Yeah. That's true." You nodded to Leon's words.
"We've been through a lot, haven't we?" He sighed.
"That we have... That we have."
Leon put his arm over your shoulder, resting his head on top of yours.
"I love you, Y/n. Happy Valentine's Day."
You couldn't help but smile at how special this moment felt. You lived for these. There was nothing better than this.
"I love you too, Leon." You smiled softly and then placed a gentle kiss on his lips. "Happy Valentine's."
Kissing you back, Leon gently put his hand on your cheek, looking into your eyes with a tender, loving expression.
"To many more." He said.
