i can't see your replies to these people (they probably deleted them?), but i can already tell that they're the type that want both to insist upon their right to do and think whatever they want, which is fine and well, but also to be *right* and never responsive to any actual evidence or argumentation. a lot more comfortable to write off things as "western" than offer up a solid critique of them. they're objectively stupid and gullible buy think theyre not because theyre anti status quo

I dont think Selfown is stupid or malicious I just think they have confused things. Its totally understandable to be skeptical of new medicines. Just like you dont buy a new model car, you wait until the kinks have been worked out in the design. Its understandable that people are afraid, especially because a lot of people dont have the knowledge and skills to separate real information and crackpots. They by default dont trust doctors, they listen to people who they trust who say things about living natural or not needing modern medicine.

But where they go dangerously wrong is in thinking that this is a private decision that only affects themselves. Actually especially when they started talking about how they dont trust WELL proven vaccines like chicken pox and spewing bullshit like "chicken pox is actually integral to brain development" and herd immunity bullshit. That stuff is obviously wrong and literally kills children. We have decades of data on vaccines like polio or the mumps and we KNOW, we KNOW that they are so so so much better than allowing children to get life threatening diseases. The statistics work out so well in our favor for most vaccines. You have to actually be some kind of radical primitivist to say that you want more children to die of preventable diseases, which is what would happen if we stopped vaccinating.

Their arguments about the downsides are entirely based in fear, basically. Fear of the "unnatural" it's a pretty common pathology these days, were so bombarded with things that we domt understand that some people think that the best response they can have is to just jettison everything they dont understand. I dont understand vaccines so therefore I'm afraid of them.

And the fact is that theres nothing wrong with those people. You cant convince them with facts because they dont have faith. They dont have faith in scientists. Which is what it is, science is a religion as much as any other. Personally I know enough science and scientists that I do have faith in them, I do truly believe that most people working in scientific fields are genuinely smart and good people who want to help the world. The problem is that anti vaxxers and people like selfown dont have that faith, they are inherently suspicious of scientists for many understandable reasons. Science needs to market itself just like any other religion, and it has not done a great job. It has been pretentious and patriarchal and even actively hostile to human life at times. It got us Zyklon B and nuclear weapons and assault rifles and the highway system and Google and Amazon and lots of other things that are anti-human. Doctors have tortured people and used human testing and ignored entire demographics of peoples subjective experiences (women, people of color) Ever since the first saw bones took someones tooth out with an arrowhead, doctors have caused immeasurable pain and saved peoples lives.

I had a lot of coffee but my main point is that all of that bullshit is just a smokescreen for the fact that vaccines are a simple statistical calculation: is the cure worse than the disease? If polio kills and maims people, and the polio vaccine reduces the number of people killed and maimed, it's just stupid NOT to use it even if there are some side effects. Like tylenol has side effects but when I have a headache, the fact that it stops my pain is worth more to me than a slight stomach ache. To Selfown and people like them, I dont understand WHY, but they have decided that the possible side effects are worse than children and people dying. That I cant explain, they have to explain that calculation for themselves. It almost seems to me to be an ego thing, they would prefer a dead child to a disabled one. Like the people who think vaccines "cause autism", even if it DID, isnt a living autistic child better than your child possibly dying and also infecting your neighbors child and them dying? Even if you hate vaccines and think they're terrible for evolution or whatever, is that worth literally watching children die in front of you? Or do you just think that you wont be the one whose child dies?

Firstly, what REAL proof do they have of god existing? Magic being real? And ghosts roaming the halls? There are churches, where people pray, worship and serve a god, majority of the people own a bible that is outdated and some things in the bible, don't make sense anymore.. (Some laws) but, (I'm bringing science into this.) Science mentions "the big bang" where an astroid or whatever hit the earth, which had some sort of forms of life on it? (Not entirely sure exactly what they thought) And yeah. But, a certain christian girl who I heard preach said. "The big bang" happened, but it was god. "Bang, humans, bang, life, bang" whatever else. (Bang means adding life and shit, idk lol) I'll get back to this later on after the witchcraft talk. Witchcraft is defiantly something different, now I'm not talking about those people (who are identified as witches/wiccans/pagans or whatever else) whom use herbs and crystals and the moon for things, I'm talking about the people who use "real" MAGIC. Spells, sorcery, necromancy. If it real though? Can you really control elements? And your really cast spells? And you really summon a demon? I've seen videos of people being possessed, but they end up turning into a joke. Paranormal? You hear things, and your brain starts thinking. For example, if your friend tells you about a band they like, your brain remembers it, and for some reason, you start seeing the bands name around, you notice people wearing the band shirt and such. Now, you read things about spirits and ghosts, watch kids about encounters. Your brain remembers it and you might start to get paranoid (even if you don't realize it) and you'll probs start seeing things. I remember talking to someone online about spirits and we told me about the whole 3:00am thing and that the gateways to the underworld opened up for a whole minute to free spirits and demons. I was talking to him around that time and the moment it turned 3am I looked back and I swore to god my cupboard lit up inside, (it was open a little and I could see my clothes perfectly even though its usually dark in there.) I stared at it the whole minute, and once that minute passed it went dark again. At that point I was petrified for a while and even told the person I had to go, I had absolute no sleep that night and I constantly checked the time to make sure I went to bed before 3am for an entire month. Scary shit.! Now... A few things about Christians I noticed (by talking about god with my christian mother and a few others) Most Christians will accept the fact god may not be real but that's a risk they'll be willing to take, of course you don't want to RISK going to hell?! All you have to do is go to church and worship, easy (I know there's more to church than that, lol) but when you ask some people (for example my mother and the few others) a question about god, the answer would be "god works in mysterious ways" and/or in an angry tone (my mother xD) "DONT YOU DARE QUESTION GOD LIKE THAT!" even if you question is as simple as "how does god exist? " (apparently he just DOES! just, poof! Here I am! Now let's throw some people on this round ball in the middle of space and watch them slowly destroy it. Yaaay!) Another question that might leave a christian wandering is. "People are destroying this world, why did got allow us to become this smart? He could easily stop it" or "satan was just angel, and apparently god is stronger than him, why can't god just stop sin?" What Are We Doing, Humanity?

I really think that, considering it all. Humans including myself, are not evil.

We are stupid. Which is an odd way to start this out, but if you stay with me I promise I will explain.

We cling to nature without realizing it, Defend our nurture without even second guessing it, and openly attack those who oppose either because of fear, prejudice and disbelief.

The way you are raised affects so much about you, that you will never fully realise. It will affect you, be you the opposite of what you were nurtured to believe, in the middle, or believe exactly what you were told.

And in the background nature, the natural instincts to cut off weaker links, to cling to negative experiences as they hold more value, to challenge things, to sensationalize and dramatize and fear everything, to believe in pure self preservation and fear what you don't understand because being cautious of it no longer works.

These things build you, and nobody is a special snowflake, or a bigot or a typical or a cis scum or any of that... no theyre all just people. People who have real problems, who deal with real things, and you're never gonna know their full story, and most likely you don't want to.

Its easy to be judgemental because its hardwired into your code.

but i shut down the laptop before drafting that post!! i guess i lost my motivation hahaha . oh well whatever . 

hi and my name is aisya . i am 15 years old and i live at asia . well where exactly in asia ?? a country named malaysia in southeast asia ! before this , i have like a few blogs but i ended up deleting it up because i lost motivation and some of it because of school . i went to a boarding school so i dont stay home a lot . i am not an introvert nor extrovert . i am an ambivert . i am in between . i am bubbly in front of my close friends but with stranger i need to use time to get close hehe . 

asian standards?? nahh , i am no close to that weird standards haha . probably a lot of korean/chinese people fits those standards . pretty , skinny , smart and many more . but i am not that pretty , that skinny and also i am not smart . i probably do well in english but obviously not at maths & science loool . i like writing/reading subjects more . my brain dont live for maths & science obv!! haha . i like history , geography , malay language and english ! i dont do that well in school . i would say so-so . 

so about myself . i will turn 16 on 11.11.2018! wew im getting older by days haha . i am a crybaby . i get upset a lot and i cry a lot. when im sad i dont really like venting to someone . i just listen to sad songs , write my thoughts , write about that thing and when time flies i surely no longer remember it . i am that kind of person that doesnt get mad for a long time . i easily forget my problems ( i was kinda running away from it but my time is solved it too ) i am a positive person ( in a lot of time ) . i always thinks the good side of something even though it is not . i was kind of making myself feel better .. and i am really bad at doing choices hmmm . but i believe on this sayings ‘ if you cannot get it of your mind is worth trying for ‘ . so if can’t decide and keep thinking of it i will just go for it . 

i consider myself as a bold person physically . but it is and exception for my feelings because it is another part . i love adventurous activities and i like beach with a hill . if you watch netflix’s series free rein you know it . some kind of island . i love parasailing , hiking and stuff like that . even though i never try haha . i want and interested in it .

about my feelings , my love life . i am that person who don’t fall in love easily . i have never been heartbroken . for me , love is not something you can just say and express in words . love is expressed by action . by that you know , whether you love the person or not. i dont have a specific type person i want to date . for lgbt i wouldn’t comment on that because that is against my religion . i am straight obv . so dont ask me question about it because it would be a really sensitive topics :)
