Jensen is not driving Baby (1967 Impala) in Tracker (CBS).

I've seen a couple of posts and even several online entertainment sites saying that it is the Impala from SPN. It's not!

Baby ~ 1967 Impala

Russell's car (below) is a 1965 Chevy Malibu

They do look similar when glancing at them head-on, but see the difference in the headlights, the grill, and the roof? Also, Russell's car is a 2-door. Baby is a 4-door and does not have the Chevy Super Sport emblem on her front driver's side quarter panel.

From the style of the roof, it also appears that Russell's car might be a convertible. Reference image below.

I would imagine that there is some kind of clause in a contract somewhere that since the Impala/Baby is so iconic to Supernatural, Jensen is not allowed to drive the actual 'Hero' car he was given in other shows. But that's just a guess on my part.

A 24-year-old race car driver who was a member of Tony Stewart’s racing team was killed in an apparent “road rage” crash, Indiana State Police say.

Ashlea Albertson, of Greenfield, Indiana, was a passenger in a GMC Terrain involved in the Friday, Aug. 18, crash on Interstate 65 in Jackson County, according to Indiana State Police.

The driver of the Terrain and of a Chevrolet Malibu were shown “accelerating rapidly” and refusing to allow the other vehicle to pass, state police said. The two vehicles eventually collided, and Albertson was ejected from the Terrain.

She was pronounced dead at University of Louisville Hospital, according to state police.

“She was a good kid (and) a better person,” her father, Todd Albertson, said in a video posted on Facebook. “She just loved racing, she loved the community and you all have done so much for her.”

Albertson’s fiancé was driving the Terrain, and the crash happened as they were driving home from a vacation, according to a social media post from family.

The couple were planning a March 2024 wedding.

Stewart, the NASCAR Hall of Famer whom Albertson raced for, urged people to control their emotions better on the roadway.

“In the past, I’ve also gotten caught up in road rage,” Stewart said in a post on X, formerly Twitter. “I hope that we can honor Ashlea by controlling what we can control on the highway. Losing her is a sobering reminder of how precious life is.”

He called Albertson “a great race car driver” who had an “infectious personality.”

The Greenfield Reporter said in a 2021 article Albertson “got hooked on racing at an early age.” Her siblings served on her pit crew, the publication reported.

Albertson won two races in the All-Star Circuit of Champions TQ Midget Series, according to Racing News, who reported she recently beat Stewart in a race.

In the series, owned by Stewart, racers compete on dirt tracks.

“I like to drive in the dirt,” she told the Greenfield Reporter. “The sliding is the best feeling ever. There’s nothing like it.”

Circle City Raceway, the Indianapolis track where Albertson would often race, said she “always had a smile on her face and time for her fans.”

“You were beyond gracious to the kids who were interested in you and your car,” said Ison’s Family Pizza, one of Albertson’s sponsors. “You were an amazing role model for young girls. Ashdog, you will always be our driver.”

She was honored in Shelbyville, Indiana, Saturday during an event she was scheduled to race in, according to WXIN and WTHR.

Pictures shared on social media show Albertson’s No. 4 race car on display at the speedway as fans and loved ones paid tribute to her.

“I’m going to think about Ashlea every time I think I’m going to have road rage,” team manager Rom Combs told WTHR. “Ashlea will be in the back of my head. Stop, slow down and do what’s right.”

Okayyy I’m gonna be extremely delusional and apply to Pepperdine University when the time comes LMAOO. I might have to start off at a university here in my city and then transfer (I’m still at community college rn)…or try for grad school there, as they have a strong psychology master’s program. Right now my cumulative GPA is 3.7 and I feel like my personal essay would make me a shoe-in, as essays are my strong suit, and it is a Christian college so they’d love to hear about my testimony and involvement with my church. I haven’t been to church in forever because I haven’t felt like it’s something that aligns with who I am now. I just don’t know if I even subscribe to Christian beliefs anymore... But I had enough experience being a born-again Christian 2019 - 2021 that I know they’d love my story/testimony and how it greatly helped my mental health, which is allowed me to even pursue college. And overcoming my mental health struggles is the motivating factor for me majoring in psychology so that I can become an LPC. I was also very involved in my church, volunteering and being a member of the prayer shawl ministry. I can start doing that again just to get into Pepperdine lol, as they look at non-academic achievements and community involvement. I know it’s a super competitive school (hence why I said I’m gonna be delusional lmao), but it’s only $65 to apply. So I think when the time comes, I’m gonna do it 🤷‍♀️

I know it’s a dry campus with strict rules, but I don’t care because it’s in freaking Malibu and it’s absolutely breathtakingly beautiful there.

I just don’t know how I’d afford it. It’s extremely expensive ofc, but maybe they’d draw up some sort of plan for me to attend. I know my dad was poor as hell when he applied to his expensive-ass private college, and they drew up a financial aid plan for him that covered everything, so he basically got a free ride. I just really don’t want to settle for the university here in my city. It’s not a bad school by any means, but it’s not that great either. And I wanna get the hell out of Texas lol. Even though I have the TPEG which is really convenient… Idk. I don’t wanna settle.
