and now in the present the artist who's making the OMORI manga adaption is under fire for being a shota fetishist and it's putting the spotlight back on the OMORI creator themselves for ALSO being a shota fetishist and oh my god the omocat who made those zelda comics over a decade ago is the same omocat who went on to make OMORI holy shit-

Rowan has been burned by love before? Does he hookup a lot or was it one love?

Yeah. The thing about Rowan is that he does do casual hookups but in reality it is never casual for him lol. He can have one night stands and such but he will develop feelings and that actually gets mentioned in the story. Rowan’s affinity for falling in love too hard and too fast is sort of written as a joke amongst MC and the band but there is sad truth to it.

That’s why I’m hesitant to make him a hookup option because if MC and Rowan hookup, I will have to make him fall for MC if I want to stay true to the character I created for him (only if MC willfully hooks up with him of course). I was going to make MC the exception but it just doesn’t sound like him. In fact, MC would def be his “one that got away” lover. But since he’s not an LI he’d just be pining over MC which seems particularly cruel 😭

I mean, I do give you guys the option to break up a marriage and engage in an affair so I have no qualms about emotional cruelty and i cant take the moral high ground 🤣🤣🫵 but the difference is that there’s a pay off with G and Vic. They can still get their happy endings while Rowan has to fuck off somewhere Lmao

BUT honestly it’s kind of fun just keeping him a head canon and a tumblr-exclusive character thing.

Plus, as other anon said, Rowan can find true love somewhere else.

I have the controversial opinion that maybe, just maybe we stop wanting to go after people with pitchforks for getting characters wrong and not reading the comics inviting them to easy and accessible ways of and making our own content with comic accurate representation

people might feel less anxious about starting comics and misinformation won't spread as easily

Ok km tired of keeping my thoughts to myself I'm gonna ramble about sky au (with old unfinished art) merry christmas

So for a long while I never really had a set plot, or like, a solid idea of what sky au should be (hell I'm still figuring it out now). But a while back I had talked to a friend about it and they gave me the idea to basically have the plot center around mondo and taka meeting every solar eclipse!! (chinateacups thank u sm king for the idea hehe) while I had been researching more about solar eclipses I feel like the best way for them to have actually interacted is when there's total eclipses, since those are the ones that completely finish rather than just happening partially or etc. ANYWAYS YEAG! they meet/see each other every total eclipse, and when they don't see each other they are off doing their own duties as the sun and moon guardians, as well as going around earth to explore on their own. Yes, there's a ton of yearning how did you know-

I want to put more research into the au itself since I love space n stuff but at the same time I keep having little scenarios in my head of them meeting or learning more about earth together 😢💔 sometimes i wanna ramble about it here but then realize I didn't tell you guys about the whole ‘meeting every total eclipse part’ so YEAG! there's that,, at least now I've mentioned that.
