👦, 🙊 and 📝 for Sinie and Csilla?

🧑 Talk about your OC's name. Does it have a special meaning or reason behind it?

yes!! so Sinie's name comes from the very very veeeeery first idea of affinity when it was kinda greek inspired, (hence calliope and urania, two names of the muses. this was originally because csilla had 9 caretaker sisters who were essentially the muses. but that idea was scrapped quickly and only urania survived for a long time, then i ended up creating calliope for the rewrite in 2020) csilla's name was actually Mnemosyne (again, scrapped very quickly so i took the pronunciation of "syne" and made Sinie! now, i could be pronouncing mnymosyne wayyy wrong but sinie's name stuck and its just sinie now :D

for csilla, when i scrapped the greek mythos inspo and went with something more original for me i went to look up some pretty cosmic sounding names and i stumbled upon the hungarian name, Csilla (pronounced 'k-silla') meaning 'star'. of course, i pronounced it WAYYY wrong all these years and had been pronouncing it as 'sheila' LMAO so yeah csilla's name is sheila if anyone is curious about how to pronounce it.

🙊 What is your OC's worst flaw? is there a time this flaw has challenged them or caused them to fail?

Sinie

GOD THIS GIRL HAS FLAWS!! she's too quick to act, she doesnt think before she speaks, she's naive and tends not to question someone's intentions, she is relatively a weak magical girl and is very much carried by her team YET still has a hero complex and sees herself as the leader, even above csilla of all people.

her biggest flaw tho??? definitely overcompensation. she overcompensates all the time for her depressed or negative emotions by being overly positive so much that its toxic, she makes big, flashy moves when she fights to get one big hit out because she has no actual strategy or plan, she acts as if she's the only one in the world who understands agitha and yet she knows she doesn't have a damn clue what's going on with that girl. sinie is a goddamn MESS and i ADORE HER!!!!!

Csilla

gosh this one is FUN because i dont explore csilla's flaws as much, but lets be real, she has no backbone. she's shy and she was picked on for being 'weird' in a prissy private all girls academy. and you know how girls bully, that shit is so psychological. so she has no words to say for herself, she lets her mother control every aspect of her life despite being extremely neglectful of her daughter, she considers her cat her best friend, she is lonely yet despite being in a new school, if it weren't for sinie, csilla wouldn't have any friends. she is so willful about fixing herself too, she doesnt see a way out because she has no backbone!! so!! she relies on sinie to "save" her and then even everett! everett brings flavor and rebellion to her life so that starts to make her act out and i can actually see her getting arrogant for a bit.

in short, my girls are a mess ✌✌

📝 What's your favorite thing about writing your OC? What kind of situations do you like writing them in best?

its the most fun when sinie and csilla are interacting for me. at least so far, since im still getting into it all. i only have barely 4 chapters written and one of them is chapter 3 part 2 so...LOL

i love writing sinie and csilla being close and learning to depend on each other while still finding themselves.

Gonta wipes his eyes with one sleeve while holding him knees close to his chest with the other arm. It looks like he's been crying for a while, and is now coming down from it with some remaining sniffles and hics.

"U-Uhuh" Gonta nods, not seeming very verbal at the moment...

"It... It's selfish because Gonta is grown. He's not some lost baby that needs to be watched over all the time anymore, he can and has to do things on his own now. Even then, it's n-not like he has much of anyone he can rely on, so to just ask someone to do that... How inconsiderate would that be?"

It wasn't like him to react that way. Sure, he was getting some coaching into realizing that he can not be okay sometimes, and is letting himself be more vulnerable more frequently, but one of the many barriers he kind of gets hard to cross is letting it out at any moment. Instead, he usually pulls it in his heart long enough until he can't do it any longer.

Thankfully, the time that it went to this, was right in my session. He wasn't one to talk when that happens.

Start from the bottom. He already expressed that he was exhausted enough. that's a start.

Obvs! I think readers will like them because the dynamic between them is fun. They're all different I think, and the reaction to them interacting has been fun!

🤔 Have you had to rethink any aspect of it so far?

Not yeeeeeeeeeet. The plot has already been decided. Unlike the other novels, it's a short one that's more a fun piece. Introducing characters that everyone knows will die. It's a fun time.

🧑 - favorite character to write?: Not Morgen or Nacht, huh?

I guess for canon characters, it might have to be Yami from Black Clover or Kyoujurou from Demon Slayer.

In Yami's case, he's a tough guy who knows how crappy the world is and is able to roll with it. He's not the type of guy to be held back. His approach to life is casual while still being authoritative. I think a good example of that would be his interaction with Shizuka in the crossover fic I wrote. He talks to her in a way that addresses his questions while also avoiding antagonizing of her.

Kyoujurou is an enthusiastic guy but incredibly disciplined and brave. He's got optimism like a shounen protagonist but the focus of a mentor character. I like how he's able to be kind and a little silly in relaxed situations but when duty calls, he is all business. To capture that kind of presence is a fun challenge to me.

I also have a favorite oc to write for and that's Shizuka. She's just... a riot. She's got a kind heart but is also a big idiot at times. She's also got esteem issues but she hides that beneath her outer ferocity.

A young man wanders in the peaceful gardens and is surpised to see Gonta. After a moment, he approaches the entomologist. It's a bit hard to read his expression, though he gives the smallest of smiles.

"Good day.” At least, he sounds polite.

“You must be Gokuhara Gonta. It is nice to meet you. My name is Konchu. I would like to talk to you, if that's alright."

He hopes Gonta doesn’t find his name odd though.

Upon hearing the other man, Gonta stops what he was doing to greet him.

”Yes, that name would be correct. It’s nice to meet you as well, Konchu.”

“Yeah, of course we may talk, is there something you needed?”

Konchu… it’s definitely unfamiliar, but it doesn’t sound like anything potentially bad.

"Hikari!" Gonta beams, bending over to give her a big ole hug.

"How's my little bug doing? It's been a while since he last saw you."

”y-you’re right, it’s just... hard, s-sometimes.”

A future foundation member walked through an open field, they were on their way to a rendezvous spot somewhere in the forest, she was going to be meeting up with another Future Foundation member there, someone by the name of Yuuma. She was not really attentive to her surroundings as she walked, since she believed that there would not be anyone else nearby, but she was ready just incase there was a foe nearby, as she did have a gun and a few combat knifes with her. (Yuuma is my other character)

Gonta just also happened to be walking through the field nearby, holding some sort of journal that he occasionally wrote in. He must have been quite focused on whatever he was writing about, because he had no idea that someone else was right in his general direction.

With that, Gonta accidentally bumps into the other woman, jolting out back into reality.

"Ah-! Uhm, sorry! Gonta didn't see you there!"

“Gonta!” Hikari ran up to Gonta crying. A mean kid at school stole her bunny

“Hikari, hey! What’s that matter? What happened to your little bunny?”

"Hey Gonta, guess who's back?" Toby smiled, walking up to the taller male. "I hope everything's been well with you. And to be honest, I kinda missed talking with you!"

"Ah, hello again, Toby!" Gonta beams, part of him being caught off guard by that last part. No one's ever said anything like that to him before...

"He's been doing quite well actually, thank you for asking. How are you?"

A small girl sat on the sidewalk, strumming a guitar. Despite her clothes being dirty and her hair being matted, she seems at ease, with one shoe taken off and put to the side. A cardboard sign is propped up on the shoe, reading “Please Donate”.

She quietly hums a Japanese lullaby, closing her eyes to the busy street.

Gonta just happened to be taking a walk when he notices the girl. Poor thing.. he wonders how long she’s been out like this.

Also noticing the sign, he starts looking through his pockets to see what kind of money he can give, and manages to find a 20 with some spare change. Gonta places the money in the shoe before stepping back a bit.

He doesn’t leave quite yet though, Gonta figures he could stay and listen to the music for a little longer.

"Excuse me, sir, are you alright? me and my boyfriend heard about what happened to you from a friend of ours," A girl who had dark periwinkle-colored hair asked, behind her was a boy who wore a black coat and had white hair, that must’ve been her boyfriend (@Classofjoy)

“Ah, yes, Gonta’s been feeling better.” He replies, a bit curious on who the friend she was referring to was.

Gonta falls quiet for a moment, putting his fork down.

...Was he okay with that? Well, in a way it would be a weird yes and no answer, but that isn't something he can just convey that easily.

"I mean... would it matter if he wasn't? It not like it would change that no one wanted to be friends with him for a party to even happen."

"Hey buddy!! I don't know wht you want to do for today, but we found out that it's your birthday!!! I wish we could have won sooner to give you a lot of gifts, but hopefully our presence is enough!

Well see you in the garden, maybe we can sort something out!"

"Awww, they don't have to do all of that, Gonta just happy someone remembered..."

"The garden area... maybe that where everyone is, and the cake to? That would make sense, Gonta will be there as soon as possible!"

With that, he slides the card into his pocket and heads over to outside.

After some time, his crying died down, leaving only a few pooled up tears left. Man.. it sure has been a good while since he had a good cry, huh?

Gonta let her go as she pulled away, and wiped his face to clear the remaining tears away, along with the rest of the mess as well.

”he’s.. feeling a lot better now, thank you. Gonta really appreciated that..”

I heard a loud noise all of the sudden, that made me stop my rounds. Some muffles were heard as well.

I got closer to the sound, that apparently was on the other side of the room. Some people were trying to see as well what's going on.

So I got closer to see the... person?

It was a person. And unconscious.

"Ok eveyone" I claim quickly "dont gather, he needs some space... what happened?"

They didnt know, they just heard that he was stirring.

So I got down to approach him...

"Hey... buddy?"

He starts to regain consciousness, opening his eyes slightly and hearing out for any sort of sounds. Oh no.. Gonta attracted a bit of a crowd, hasn’t he? Great…

Besides that, he tries to focus on whoever was talking to him directly.

“Mm, h-hello..?”
