Hey I have a weird question. You don't seem like the type of person to want paid commission work, but I really love your art style and want to use it for the covers of my series (four books) so they have a cool kind of post-pulp aesthetic.

So like if you accept money I have some money. But if you don't want that, I was wondering if you would ever arrange some kind of bartering system.

I have no idea what I could offer. If you give me your physical address in a private setting I can sculpt you something. I can do basic bookbinding if you want some funky sketchbook. I know a lot of good recipes??

Is this crazy??? Does this sound like anything??? I love your philosophy of offering free art just for the love of it but I want to meet your energy in some way.

Absolutely, I’m open to doing paid commission, I’ve just never had a request before. I love doing it for free at my leisure but for a more in depth process with a back and forth and feedback and options/potential reworkings or redos and whatnot for multiple covers, well, I guess it would depend what all you want from me. I’m about to move in a month or so, so sending me stuff isn’t ideal right now but I’d be open to that and bartering/art exchange in general down the line once I’m set up there if you can wait a few. Maybe send me a message with ideas/what you like of mine/what you want/how in depth you want the process and we can negotiate all that. If it sounds simple/quick for me to make I might just do it for free regardless but that depends how detailed you want to get with it all. Either way I’m happy to do it without charging more than whatever you can comfortably afford. A pay what you can type of situation, in small part because I wouldn’t know what to charge lol. And that goes for anyone who wants art from me (unless I start getting a ton of heavier requests at some point but no one’s beating down my door for art as of yet). So yeah just send me a message with what you have in mind.

A bit of a ramble ahead with this one! ^^;

Ooh! I have a bunch of different colors, shapes and sizes on mine! Maybe star beads would be cool for kandi, I love stars... :0

I always forget too! ^^; I end up keeping like- the backs of sticker packs because the design's pretty, or bits of cardboard from boxes of things for the cute characters and designs thinking "Oh yeah, I'll use these someday!" ...But Mama's room just ends up looking like a recycling bin half the time. ^^;

I did use to make these little puppets with my mama where you'd paint on or glue paper around a cardboard paper towel or toilet paper roll, cut out little shapes for ears and a face 'n' feet, and glue them onto the roll to look like little puppets!

I came across these while I was looking for the right picture, and now I wanna try and make them... :0

All in all, I love love LOVE crafts!!

...Back to forgetting about sketchbooks. ^^;

I always get caught up in not liking the way my art looks because of tiny mistakes or lack of practice... (Mama doesn't draw all the time ^^;)

But I think I should just forget about that and get lost in the color and having fun. Maybe that could be some encouragement for you! ^^

I'm glad to know i can send you whenever i feel like! recently i was practicing drawing as i said, but i ran out of sketchbooks so i only have printer paper right now 😅 i don't like it very much, but it's all i have at the moment. Recently i was thinking of changing the way i draw Vergil, i may not look like it, but i'm very perfeccionist, and i started to dislike the way i draw him... It's like, i feel like i don't do justice to his beauty. so, i may change my style of drawing him... i've have always been self-conscious about my drawings 😞 —🦭

passes u my fav two (using a modern au art as the image so its not the awfully complicated outfits T_T) .. these r their three ho.pes versions ! claras basically one of his advisors as dim.itri tries to navigate king stuff, and they slowly develop crushes on each other thats only shared after dim.itri nearly dies :'] (waving hands) im so bad at explaining & u dont have to draw at all if u dont want to i just wanted to send them in !! have a wonderful day soda 🫶

So, I was actually really excited to work on this because they're literally a blueberry muffin palette!! I think the royal x advisor archetype is inherently very cute. I fear I didn't capture their dynamic as much as I could (I read some of your fics while I worked, but I sort of got in the groove, V_V), but that just means I have to draw them again sometime!

I used this as an excuse to practice a more chibi style. I haven't actually finished a piece in a hoooot second, so it's sort of messy, but I had fun!! I didn't find a reference for the bottoms of these outfits, so I sort of just winged it. Important note: Dimitri is wearing Khakis. I think he's a man who would wear khakis. I just think this is true.
