Title: Neverland

Character(s): Venti (Genshin Impact) Summary: You always wanted to go to neverland, and you did. But when you wanted to return back home the flying boy did not want to let you go. Warnings/tags: Platonic yandere, fem!reader, kidnapping, slight manipulation

Note: This has been written with platonic yandere in mind but it is rather open-ended actually and up to the reader on what happened to Venti when you were gone and on what happened to you after. Venti is depicted to be a similar age as the reader (so if the reader is 7 years old Venti is like 2 or 3 years older.)

You adored fairytales... You were young, after all, curious about the world inside the books. Magic that belongs only to books and not here. You were interested in fairytales like when the princess was captured and taken away to a tower only for a knight and shining armor to save her or a puppet that could not lie because if he does his nose would grow long or a story about a girl who once walked into a home that belonged to a family of 3 bears.

You loved those books but your favorite book, in particular, was about an immortal boy who could fly. It was obvious when you would jump on your bed hoping to fly up to the sky at one point or how you would watch your window for shadows or a boy that would one day show up and take you to neverland.

So when it finally happened, when you saw a young boy maybe similar to your age flying around your room with a small wisp by his side you didn't hesitate to accept his offer when he asked you to join him in Neverland. You didn't think about the people you were leaving, your parents or friends too caught up in the magic. Taking his hand when he promised you a world of mermaids, pirates, and a place you will never "grow up."

"Haha, how about it? Wanna join me to neverland? The place full of songs and laughter!"

You went to neverland and it was all you ever dreamed of as you played with the boy and his friends. Flying wherever you want, sleeping under the trees with other kids just like you, and seeing the prettiest mermaids that wave at you as you waved back. It was just so much fun.

"Yaa-hoo! Isn't this fun?"

But you were a child and in the end, you would miss your parents. Their hug and comfort, you just miss them and wish nothing but to go back.

"Ehhh, homesickness? What is that? You should instead help me make a tune! We are almost finished making that beautiful song, you know!"

"No, I took you to Neverland because I thought you would be with us, Me forever!" Venti, your friend, the boy who could fly and brought you here, refused to let you go, holding your hand tight.

His eyes were teary, lost as he looked straight at you. You didn't understand the madness in his eyes when the small boy looked at you but one thing is for certain was that you understood his words which only means that you could not see your parents and could only pout at the situation.

"We can go apple picking if you want! We can make apple cider, don't you love that drink? I have a secret that will make it extra yummy!"

You were stubborn, maybe too stubborn but all you want is to see your parents so when you find that first opportunity to finally leave neverland you took it. Leaving the place where you would never age back in the arms of your distraught parents who thought that they had forever lost you.

"Friend?.... Hey? Where are you?.... Why did you go back... You were supposed to be with me forever..."

You moved houses you parents could no longer live in that place where they have lost you... when you told them about your story and why you were gone. They didn't believe that you went to Neverland and thought that you somehow wore colored glasses that express a world that wasn't there when, in reality, you were only just kidnapped. Fear that this might happen again, they took you away.

Away from him.

You did not understand why they were so scared back then, yet later as you grew up you could only thank them for wanting to keep you safe.

You were an adult now, you got a new job and the pay was alright. It was a little far from your parent's home, but it was fine because you finally could move out and make a living for yourself.

Years have passed since that incident when you were young, and the memories have become foggy and a blur. You fell in love with someone and decided to marry. You have your own family and something to look forward to in your own reality.

"Found you."

Yet it seems that is not the case for everyone. A pair of eyes watching you as you grow older and older, wishing to give you what you want yet at the same time trying to hold himself back to drag you to his world again. He too, has aged as he continued to look for you in your world. His eyes, which were once clear glass-like innocence, now dark obsessive anger.

When you hear a knock on the window, do not open it. Your family may do so, but they would not find anything there. You yourself, tho mustn't for the moment you open the windows and let the wind it. You will leave nothing behind, but only your house slippers dragged back to Wonderland held by a boy whispering songs in your peaceful, tired sleep.

"My friend, you are finally in my arm! I am so glad that I finally caught you. Let's go back to Neverland alright?"

Probably as more extroverted than I really am because I try to be involved in a lot of things that are important to me, and I want to help people with social events but on the inside I usually want to go home (or somewhere less public at the very least) more often than not haha. I feel like people also think I have my shit together more than I really do, which like I get things done but never in a timely manner.

Idia was walking back to his dorm, coming back from his club. He was socially drained and so ready to log into his games and do his dailies. That was until his gaze caught a delicate vase full of beautiful colored flowers. He stared at them, unsure as to why they were outside his dorm room. After contemplating what he should do, he just decided to gently pick it up and bring it into his room.

After placing it on his desk, he just stared blankly at the flowers. He studied the vase, wondering if someone pranked it. He memorized each and every petal, leaf, and stem on each of the flowers. The set-up looked gorgeous, he admitted to himself, but nothing in his mind was making sense. He fixed his posture as he brought his head into his hands, so hold it.

Idia was curious as to why anyone would send him flowers like this. His mind couldn’t wrap around all the possibilities. He thought it was a prank, someone secretly recording him just be completely rejected. Suddenly, his eye’s caught a small tag attached to the vase. He turned it gently and softly read it to himself.

“To…Idia…From Y/n? Huh? Why would Y/n send me these? Couldn’t they have just texted me?”

He sighed and gave up the internal fight on whether he should read the note Y/n had sent him. His hands shook as it gently brushed against the soft petals of the flower. They were so soothing, helping him to read the note Y/n had written. His eyes widen the deeper he read, not knowing how to feel about it. All he felt was his face become warm and his heart beat faster. 

I love you so much, Idia! You’re so amazing and captivating. You have this hidden beauty within you that just has me in a choke hold. I have never felt this intense admiration and love for someone before. You’re so beautiful, and I can’t have asked for anyone better. Nothing in my mind could ever drive me away from you. You sending him this bouquet sent Idia into a full on pink color, from hair to the tip of his toes. He couldn’t process the fact that someone out there loved him this much. Kaeya was walking back to the Knight’s of Favonius building after a long mission. As he walked to his office, one of his colleagues ran up to him. He looked at them with a curious smirk as he slowed down. His colleague put their hands on their knees, trying to catch their breath. It didn’t take long for the colleague to speak with pants in between his words. 

“Sir Kaeya! There's a delivery on your desk!”

Kaeya looked at his colleague with an amused face. He only nodded as he walked a bit faster to his office. He was very curious as to what he was sent and who sent him something. As he opened the door to his office, he was greeted with a beautiful flower arrangement. He walked up to the arrangement and eyed it curiously. He noticed a small tag that was attached to a letter, and mumbled it to himself. 

“Hm? To Kaeya, From Y/n… How intriguing.”

He carefully opened the letter that was attached to the name tag. His hands held it gently, as if it were a snowflake. He knew you had become really close with him, and he has too. He wanted to tell you, but he was unsure how. His mouth went agape as he read the first words.

You’re just…so extraordinary to me, and it is so overwhelming to feel so much for someone like this. No one could ever come close to how much I want to know and understand you. You leave everyone awestruck, even myself, and I couldn’t have asked to know someone more amazing than you. You bring a smile to my face, and I hope to bring a smile to yours. I always get this warm feeling inside, this safety when I see you smile my way and for a moment I think nothing will ever hurt me. You make me see all these new colors that I’ve never known existed.

Honeysuckle: True Happiness

I only ever wish for you to have the truest form of happiness. I want to be the reason you smile because your smile is like the sunshine! I can’t get enough of it, and it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. Nothing makes me smile more than seeing you looking my way with that welcoming smile on your face. It brightens my day when I just see you smiling at anything, but I especially love when that smile is directed at me. I want to make you happy because you deserve it. You’ve been through so much, you deserve never ending happiness.

Blue Roses: Mystery

Your eyes are filled with this aura of mystique. And you’re whole past, I want to know more about it. Rook was walking through the Pomefiore dorm, looking for Vil amongst the busy dorm members. He kept looking for Vil, but all he was able to see was a familiar periwinkle haired boy running up to him. His eyes followed Epel as his figure came closer and closer. His eyes went further to see Epel holding a gorgeous vase full of flowers. Rook felt so much excitement seeing the arrangement. 

“My Epel! Who are these for?”

Epel turned his face up to look at Rook. He felt kind of intimidated under his upper classman’s gaze. He held the vase out to Rook, hinting to him to take it. The blond gently took the vase from Epel, his eyes sparkling at each flower that had bloomed perfectly. Rook looked at Epel, still awaiting the answer to his question.

“They’re for you Rook.”

Epel pointed to the small tag that had a note attached. Rook looked at it and brought one hand to turn it so he could read it. His eyes widen when he saw who send him the arrangement. He smiled brightly and could only imagine the person that sent them. He read the tag out loud his tone was so excited. 

“To Rook, from Y/n. Oh, how lovely! Y/n really has an eye for flower arrangements!”

Rook took the vase to his room, seeing as it would be a better idea to read the note in his room. He detached the letter and opened it ever so delicately. He had this stupid smile on his face, one that couldn’t be removed at the thought of you sending him something this beautiful. He found even more beauty in the words inside your letter. His eyes were full of love the more he read the letter. 

Lavender: Love at First Sight 

When I first saw you in the halls, my heart skipped a beat. I wanted to talk to you more, and when you approached me, I thought the universe had heard my wish. I was so flustered, I didn’t expect you to be talking to me. You are so extraordinary and the more we talked, the more I felt myself falling in love with you. I can’t express how much I have fallen for you, and our first encounter was enchanting. It plays in my mind over and over again. I can’t stop thinking about you and how you smiled at me.

Moonflower: Dreaming of Love 

Ever since I first saw you, my mind was only ever on you. Your smile, your hair, and just everything about you have been stuck in my head. He was touched by your words, and a soft smile graced his lips. He didn't expect you to be so straightforward with your feelings like this. It was a solemn day for some in Night Raven College. They had lost their dearest friend that had helped them through their hardest times. They were considered a hero who helped those in need and befriended those who needed a shoulder to lean on. The dorm that seemed to be heavily affected was Diasomnia. 

Not only the house warden, but his bodyguards, were feeling the sadness of Y/n not being there anymore. The news and the goodbyes that happened in the Mirror Chamber. Classes were cut short just to say goodbye to Y/n, and the celebration of a safe return for them. No one was left without having shed a few, or a lot, of tears. 

Those tears were still being shed, the hero of Night Raven College forever being missed. But the one that was the most effected out of everyone was Sebek. He was in his room, wallowing in the pain that was consuming him. He looked at the many pictures he had with the h/c haired student that he had grown close too. 

Sebek had no idea why he was so affected by Y/n leaving, but something in him yearned for them to come back. To come back into his world and tell him everything will be okay. Sebek longed for one last hug, one that would last eternity, with the reassurance of it never ending. Sebek gripped the photo close to his heart, trying so hard to burn Y/n into his memory. 

It was so hard to accept the fact that he could never see his friend ever again. That alone was hard to process, the phantom touch of Y/n still lingering on Sebek. All of his sobbing, however, was put to a halt when a knock at the door softly brought him out of his thoughts. 

He went up to open the door to see that no one was there, in place of a person was a vase of beautiful flowers. He noticed that a brown tag, along with an envelope, was attached. Sebek read the tag out loud. 

“To Sebek. From Y/n..”

He couldn’t bring himself to even finish reading it. Tears already brimming in his eyes. He hesitantly opened the envelope, carefully taking out a piece of paper. It had read.  

By the time you receive these, Crowley would have already sent me back home. When I first got here, I admittedly was afraid of you. But after getting to know you and seeing how dedicated, loyal and kind you are, I couldn't help but want to be at your side as your friend. It's just a shame that these feelings became more intimate, and I couldn't muster up the courage to express them to you. Although I may never see you again, I am truly grateful to have known and fallen for you, my dearest knight.

Pansies: You occupy my thoughts

While I may be back in my home world, I will never forget you. You were an amazing friend, and I will forever think of you in my day-to-day life. Every little thing I do and see will lead back to you, and even though I am not there anymore, I am still with you. Every cloud in the sky to the blades of grass, I hope you see me in them because I see you. Sleepless nights were spent with just you in my mind. I hope you never forget me because I will never forget you. My only regret was not telling you how much I adore you.

Sebek was left in large, shiny tears. He held the vase so close to him, it was his last link to the person he had fallen for. He choked back sobs, not wanting to disturb anyone. He didn’t understand what caused so much pain in his heart. But the feeling that settled was regret, the regret of not becoming something closer to Y/n and not being honest with himself.

Floyd was hanging around the Monstro Lounge, not wanting to do any of the work his house warden gave him. It was one of those days where Floyd didn't want to do anything at all. Well, anything to do with Monstro Lounge and work. His mind was elsewhere, thinking of hanging out with a friend.

He smiled softly at the thought of his friend, as he was sprawled on one of the seats. Floyd was kicking his legs, feeling excited as he thought more of his friend. Floyd was interrupted from his thoughts, which annoyed him some, but he begrudgingly went to see who wouldn’t let themselves in. When he opened the door, he looked around to see no one was around. 

Floyd was more than annoyed at this point, ready to squeeze anyone who upset him next. But when he looked down, all annoyance washed away. Floyd picked up the glass vase of flowers, slowly spinning it, looking at every angle. As he stared endlessly at the flowers, Floyd brought the vase in and set it down on the bar.

 He sat in front of it, putting his head on his elbows as they rested on the table. Jade walked by, seeing his brother staring into the flowers with a curious light shining. Jade smiled softly before speaking up.

 “My Floyd, what beautiful flowers.”

 Floyd looked up to his brother with an annoyed tone.

 “So? I dunno who sent em, and it's annoying me.” 

Jade giggled slightly, looking for a tag on the vase. He turned it slightly following the twine that was tied beautifully fitting the form. Attached to it was a brown tag with two names and a note. He turned it to face Floyd, urging him to read it. Floyd reluctantly turned his head, adjusting to see the writing. He read the first part out loud. 

“To Floyd, from Y/n.” 

Floyd's eyes lit up, just at the mention of the person. He smiled and lightly kicked his legs as his head perked up to read the rest of what was attached to the tag. Every word written made his heart beat a little faster. Floyd smiled, showing his enchanting sharp teeth. 

Hibiscus: Rare beauty

Your beauty is something that most don’t see, nor do they think of it when they see you. But when I see you, I am captivated by it. It is something no one around you has, and it is something I have yet to see. But I see it in you. Not only your physical beauty that rivals the ocean blue, but the inner beauty of your personality. You always manage to make me smile, even when others might think you’re being too much. Your eccentric ways of doing things inspires me so much. You really are a wonder to my world.
