In your young mind, you never really understood this man who had taken you in. 'Interesting' he finds you when you were alone in the dark with no place to go back to when he found you, having heard that you have this unknown illness that no doctor could cure. Alone by yourself, you reached out to him, taking his hand.
You lived in the trapped in the lab building after that...
You watch his face for reactions, any tells that told you what his mood was. Sometimes, it was how the doctor frowns every single minute... second... sometimes how he smiles always.
Sometimes he was a bit kinder to you, sometimes not really...
Sometimes, he was more forgiving. Sometimes, he was not. You didn't understand when he told you to head to the laboratory tomorrow night yesterday... and then this morning, he told you to go to another lab tonight. You were confused. You didn't know what to do because no matter what you did, you have broken a promise... an order...
You covered your arms, shielding them from the world, covering your stomach and curling your toes as you looked at the floor scared. This Dottore was scarier and crueler in your eyes. He took your hand before you could even whisper a word, pulling it roughly as he took you to a lab that was not where he told you to go.
Your own cries were painful to your ears, a ringing, and the knife's reflection made you freeze in fear. He never spoke a single comforting word, not once. Sometimes he did, maybe when he was in the mood, sometimes your sniffles would be met with sighs and words that called you pathetic, sometimes nothing at all. Today through you had to listen to it tell you that you should be grateful that he took you in and that you shouldn't continue to disobey his orders like this.
Your arm held by his was sore in pain. The man had found you as you were heading to another lab that you have been told by him to go to. His mumbles you could hear clearly so sensitive to his voice and emotions.
“Where are you going? I told you to go to the lab 1034. What are you doing on the opposite side of the building.” His voice was threatening to you, annoyed and frustrated that you disobeyed his orders. His hold on your arm was tight. His legs were too long, and you forced yourself to run unless you wanted to trip and fall and cause even more anger.
The injections were painful, your eyes in tears, as you let the man inject you with what he told you was potentially medicine that could heal you. You didn't want this, this pain. It was too painful as you tugged in your restraints. But he didn't let you go, his words hostile and demeaning he continued to watch and look for side effects from the medicine that he created for you. You felt nothing but a fish struggling to live in dry land under her gaze.
You were scared of the stare of the mask, but it was better than his real eyes. Red and glowing as they stared at you, a monster. You knew yet at the same time didn't understand that he was trying to save you when all he gave you was pain. His personality kept on changing, and so was his kindness. But you didn't know... you would probably never know.
He was a monster that grew attached to you. He had become used to your small little self always being somewhere near him. The small light pats on the floor caused by your feet as you were allowed to explore the building but never outside or certain areas unless you were accompanied by a fatui or his permission. There was this one time when you went out and stayed outside for hours lost as no one was keeping you in check, only for him to find you shivering in a corner of the woods, hands cold. You weren't allowed out as often anymore.
The first time he meet you he was interested in this new sickness you had that no doctor was able to figure out, it was his first time too but while most gave up he offered you a deal, that it might be painful, that he does even know if you would heal, but he would try yet. He would take all the knowledge in helping you and turn it into another weapon, he didn't care for your life.
Yet when did he start to...
But in the end, he was still a monster, and that was something that would not change.
That his affection and care would look nothing but a cruel entertainment to your pain and sorrow. As he removed the tears from your eyes, the experiment finished for the day he watched the way you flinched. Your eyes shined with tears so obviously with fear and pain in them. He didn't react. Instead, he left you in the room alone. Huffing annoyance as stating that he had much to do.
Truly how funny was it that it was not just one monster that so craved your being that right after another monster would find you with a smile on his face as he asked you why you were not in the room that he told you to be instead here… leaving your mind confused even when you were in so much pain.
“Why are you crying, dear?” You looked up from the floor, eyes widening when you saw Dottore again looking down at you with a smile on his face. You looked at the door and then at him, wondering why he came back when he was busy. You flinched when he raised his hand. Never once did he ever hit you ever since your stay here, yet the experiments he had done left fear in your heart.
Yet instead of the pain you were expecting, your head was touched lightly, ruffling your hair as if comforting you. “It seems that one segment found you first and left you soon after. Are you still in pain?” You looked at him confused at his words, but he made no actions to explain as he gently took you in his arms and carried you away from the lab. “There, there, don't cry, girl. You did a good job handling the pain. Rest now, let's get you something to eat in your room, and then rest.” the doctor told you, looking at you.
You looked at him confused. Why was he being nice to you all of a sudden? His personality shifting again and again was just so confusing to you that you were always on edge. But you nodded quietly. “Doctor, when will I ever get well?” You asked, voice raspy from all your cries, quiet like a whisper as you wonder about your future.
Dottore paused. His steps stopped for a moment before continuing to walk. “You will get well soon, child. After all, I have promised you that I would do my utmost to cure you. It just takes a little more patience.” Dottore didn't look at you but instead in front of him, but to be honest, you weren't too sure when he wore that mask that covered his eyes.
You looked at him, almost doubtfully, yet soon after, there was a small spark of determination and hope in your eyes as well as peace, a belief that he would save you. It was laughable truly.
It wasn't a lie that he wanted to cure you, not only because he cared for this small life that didn't know anything about this world. He was far from this caring man rather than a monster after all but also because he was curious about your sickness... But he wasn't sure what will come after it, he wasn't so sure he would let you go after you have pulled all his heartstrings that he thought he never had and the other segments.
You weren't necessarily special, nothing unique other than your illness. He wasn't even sure why he was like this in the first place, yet here he was.
He will keep you here a little longer after he finally finds a cure but if you were to ever insist that you wished to leave, then don't be surprised when you fall into another illness. Your life was in his hands it was just that you didn't know the extent of it.

Platonic!Yandere!Capitano x Baby!Reader
Tumblr media
Capitano had no family, but he had an army, which, one might say, replaced this very family for him. He was honored to devote all his time to fatui, to Tsaritza. And until today, such a arrangement of things completely suited him.
However, on the way home, he and the other fatui came across a small group of people, who returning to Mondstadt. Among the adventurers, merchants and ordinary people returning home, a woman with a very small child attracted the attention of the Capitano.
The first harbinger carefully looked into the tent, from where the baby's crying gradually subsided.
"Can I come in?"
For a second, the woman shuddered, but then smiled, giving consent. Fortunately for the first harbinger, and unfortunately for herself, she didn't treat Capitano with the same suspicion as the other mondstadters.
"I heard crying and thought something had happened."
"Oh... It's just my baby. The road is long and hard for Y/n. I'm sorry if it bothers you... And please speak a little lower."
The first harbinger nodded curtly, his gaze closely following the calming child.
"Do you want to hold it?"
Instead of answering, Capitano took exactly one unconscious step to meet your mother and held out his hands. Of course, the position of his hands was soon corrected, and the baby was carefully put in his hands.
The child's eyes immediately became wide open. The soft fur on the coat, the worn helmet on which the reflection is visible and the shiny black crystal immediately attracted the Y/n's attention. Small hands kept reaching out, now to one object, then to another. Capitano tried to stay calm, even though he was nervous, because the child began to crawl in his arms. Overpowering himself, harbinger brings the child a little closer and allows him to touch his helmet.
Hearing the baby whooping joyfully, Capitano can't do nothing but sighs with relief.
"You can pass Y/n to me if you tired..."
"No. It's fine."
Capitano responds too quickly and even a little sharply.
"I'm just holding a baby in my arms for the first time."
Capitano excuses himself when you suddenly pull his hair. Your mom immediately jumps up and starts apologizing, while the harbinger himself doesn't really reacts to such an action. He's just gently trying to unclench your hand and while he's doing it, he's really afraid to exert even a little force. Reluctantly, the harbinger returns you to your mother's arms and leaves the small tent after a couple of minutes.
Returning to the other fatui, he hears the mondstadters discussing tomorrow's return. They cheerfully imagine how they will get drunk on their return and what kind of celebration the Ragniver family will throw in honor of the birth of a child. For himself Capitano notes that they will move out on the afternoon, unlike him and other soldiers, who will begin their journey at dawn.
Capitano spent the rest of the day thinking. He reviewed the map and the route, and also asked some fatui about their experience of interacting with children, since most of them had their own families and it was not something unexpected for them, as for the Capitano. Someone taking care of their younger and older brothers and sisters, and someone is already have their children waiting them at home.
So, with help of his comrades it is possible to transfer such a small weak child to a Snezhnaya... Right?...

HI, hi!
How are you, I do hope you’re doing good!
I love your zhongli fic and I was wondering, how do you think zhongli would react to seeing the kid be re incarnated in the future and he finds them in the same place where they did still getting flowers, I just think it would be really cute 🥰. And then if he were to get slightly obsessed with them?
By all mean you don’t have to do this and if you do please take your time and please stay healthy!
Hope you have a good day/night!

A/n: Hi! This is kinda a part 2 to the Zhongli fic. This fic is shorter then my usual post. There are definitely spelling mistakes in here, please let me know how i can improve pls. Love u all <3
Part 1
Tumblr media
Ever since that day he had come back once a week to sit and have tea. He remembered every single detail of the garden so when he came back to find five flowers missing he was surprised but not worried. Due to the passing time everything will stay the same but will always change (adventure time reference hehe). He thinks that he will buy some glazed lillie seeds and plant some more.
When he came back the next day to plant the seeds he nearly dropped them when he found a small child there picking the flowers. He wanted to yell at the kid to stop picking the flowers, but something in the back of his mind stopped him from doing so. The child had a familiar ora to him similar to… no, no, no it can’t be them. They’re gone.
“You there, what are you doing?” Zhongli said in a commanding tone. The child turned their head to face the voice. No… it can’t be.
“Oh, Hello! I am (Y/n) and I come up here for the qingxin that grow here.”They said with the same sparkle in their eyes.
For once in his life he was speechless, he couldn’t comprehend how or why you were here. Was celestia mocking him? Was his pain amusing to them? Every bone in his body was begging to run over to hold on to you and never let go in fear of you disappearing again. But, he held his composure and remained calm.
“This mountain is dangerous and flowers are not worth risking your life,” He hoped that you would listen to him just this once and never have to repeat the tragedy he faced all those years ago.
“But I think that they look prettier up here, and they are one of the best sellers in my mama’s shop,”
“Yes you are quite right, how about this, I come up here with you to pick flowers, help you get up safely, and intern if you don’t attempt to climb up the mountain when I’m not here. But if you do you will suffer the consequences.” Zhongli said as he placed out his hand.
“May i ask why you want to help me?”
“An old friend of mine hurt themself climb up here.”
“Oh, that’s understandable, alright! It’s a deal!” You said while you shook his hand. Oh, how naive you were for trusting strangers. You were lucky he had good intentions, he would need to keep a close eye on you from now on.
………..
“Xiao,” He called his most loyal adeptus to his side as he stood from one of the bridges in Liyue. Xiao appeared in a puff of black and teal smoke. “Do you see the child with the basket full of glazed lilies?”
You were down in a stall selling the flowers you had picked earlier.
“Yes Rex Lapis.”
“I need you to keep an eye on them and don’t let any harm come their way.”
“May I ask why?”
“I believe that Celastia has given me a do over, and I’m not wasting that chance.”
Xiao had never seen his god like this before and it scared him. “What lengths should I go to protect this child?”
“Kill if you have to but don’t ruin the child’s innocents.”
“Is that all my lord?”
“Yes, you may go Xiao.” and just as quickly as he came he disappeared like he was never there.
As he gazed looked down apon you with obsession in his eyes. He wondered what your lives will be like together. Sure the room in his teapot isn’t finished yet and hasen’t even took your parents out of the picture yet. But, it’s only a matter of time before it happens.

INAZUMAAAA hopefully these aren't annoying by this point, if they are I'm so sorry, but onto Inazuma while I hope this is still interesting! Inazuma is already oppressive when the traveler first arrives there, and this is no different with you present. Beidou doesn't need much persuading to take you there, luckily, since she's seen you to and from a lot of places (that isn't to say she wouldn't mind if you stayed as a permanent member of the Crux, though. She might not let you share drinks with her and the others but she already has a juice supply for when you're aboard so why not make yourself at home?).
That being said, Kazuha is less excited at the prospect of you going to the very same place he lost his friend. Though his interest in the traveler possibly reigniting the vision prevents him from objecting completely, so he'll settle for just keeping an eye on you as long as he can before you reach Inazuma, since he won't easily be able to follow you there with his criminal status.
Oh but just wait until you meet Thoma and the Kamisatos, they'll adore you whether you've met them previously or not, they're ready to welcome you with open arms. Thoma might ask you how Mondstadt is faring, Ayaka wants to go around town with you now that she has someone to spend time with and Ayato is probably looking into any potential ways you could be politically talked into staying even just a little longer. Your stay with them is like being pampered to death, Thoma is at your beck and call, always getting you what you want, even if you didn't ask for it.
Yoimiya would have a field day with you! Entertaining kids is her specialty, she loves them, and she certainly loves you! Come look at her new fireworks, every time you use one you'll remember her, isn't that sweet? I doubt anyone other than her thinks so. Kujou Sara might catch sight of those lights in the distance and find them to be an annoying distraction, Yae Miko might spy them from miles up at the shrine and find such childish things amusing - but if they knew they were a personalised gift to keep your attention on Yoimiya? I guess depending on how petty they are, how selfish they are to want you only at their side or confined in the nation, they might try to interfere with Yoimiya's gesture of friendship.
When the traveler joins the resistance, it's likely nobody wants you involved, you're only a child you shouldn't have to see this. You should be able to enjoy the beautiful sights at Watatsumi Island while Kokomi and Gorou focus on organising and carrying out battles, even Sara would probably prefer if Itto and Kuki came along to keep you busy elsewhere with beetle fighting or whatever it is they get up to. Everyone just wants you out of harm's way, they'll deal with you later.
Obviously, there's still a pretty significant person in Inazuma who still hasn't been mentioned: Ei. And with good reason, because out of everyone in Inazuma she's undeniably the biggest threat. Not only is she unstable on her own when it comes to attachments, but when she pulls the traveler into Euthymia and you and Paimom are left alone in front of a crowd of soldiers, it becomes clear to everyone that you can't be left to travel the world like this, the traveler can't even take care of you!
And Ei's return does nothing but solidify this. She's been alone for so long that having a new face, a new friend who can experience eternity with her due to your shared immortality, she doesn't want to lose that. Up until you hint towards leaving, everything will be fine. Ei likely tries to get you to try out all kinds of sweets with her to fulfill her sweet tooth, the lifting of the sakoku decree lessens the tension throughout the nation, life is good until you and the traveler agree its time to move on. While they won't reinstate the sakoku decree just to get you to stay, you'll basically be in a race against everyone to get to Beidou's ship before someone catches you and drags you to an estate!
(in all honesty I haven't caught up with Sumeru enough to write one about that so I think this is where my ranting ends, I thank you for listening I hope it wasn't too boring)
DW ANON I RLLY LOVE YOUR THOUGHTS AND OPINIONS ON THE CHARACTERS!!
imo yae would be interested in the reader after they and the traveler survived ei + the warriors that reinforce the vision hunt decree, as the reader is definitely experienced enough in fighting, yae is the type to attempt to manipulate and gaslight the reader into staying with her and ei.
speaking of ei, she's a desperate woman, so she's not above breaking any of the reader's bones if it means you'll stay with her.
so in general, there's pretty much a small chance of the reader even being able to leave, unless beidou and kazuha are involved in getting them away from the others.

His Hatchling
Platonic! Yandere! Neuvillette x GN! Child! Reader
Tumblr media
Description: It might not seem like it, but dragons are very protective over their hatchlings. Even if the hatchling in question aren't dragon.
Warning: Platonic Yandere. OOC. English is my second language. Some hints of child negligence.
________
He met the kid near Palais Mermonia for the first time.
Judging by the kid's clothes, they were from Mondstadt. They were sitting at the bottom of Hydro Archon's statue, looking around. And big [e/c] eyes shined with curiosity.
Neuvillette didn't pay too much though to them. Just an ordinary kid, doing ordinary things. Perhaps, they were waiting for their friends.
Neuvillette had more important things on his mind.
When he left Palais Mermonia at the evening, kid were still here. At the bottom of the Hydro Archon's statue.
_____
Kid were here the next day. Still sitting at the bottom of the Hydro Archon's statue. Neuvillette still wasn't worried about them. Of course, Archon's statue was an unusual spot for a kid to hang out, but, again, nothing to be worried about.
He has a lot of work to do, so Neuvillette should focus on finishing it, instead of thinking about foreigner.
During lunchtime, he heard laughing, coming from the outside. Neuvillette saw, how kid from earlier were playing with some melusines, that were off duty.
Neuvillette was slightly worried. Would that foreigner be rude towards melusines?
No. It doesn't look like the kid were bad. Just a simple kid.
When Neuvillette left Palais Mermonia, he saw kid sitting at the bottom of Hydro Archon's statue again.
_____________
It's been going on for two weeks.
Kid were staying sitting at the bottom of Hydro Archon's statue in the morning and in the evening and would play with free melusines during the day.
And Neuvillette started to worry about them. Where were kid's parents? Neuvillette couldn't tell for sure, if someone have recently moved to Fontaine from Mondstadt, but, even if there were new citizens, why they weren't worried about their kid doing whatever they want for two weeks straight?!
Neuvillette was tapping fingers against the table's surface, while Sedene were taking finished paperwork from his desk. Melusine tilted her head.
"Monsieur Neuvillette? Is something wrong? Can I help you with something?"
Neuvillette's breath hitched.
"No, everything is fine, Sedene. Don't worry." Neuvillette tapped his fingers again. After some consideration, he asked. "Sedene, do you knew anything about the kid that have been staying near Palais Mermonia for the last two weeks?"
Sedene's ears perked up.
"You mean [Y/N]? They are a sweet kid. They came from Mondstadt. I didn't have too many chances to interact with them, but other melusines are having a good opinion about them."
Neuvillette, without noticing, leaned forward.
"And their parents?"
Sedene rubbed her cheek.
"I haven't seen them, and [Y/N] aren't talking about them. But I believe, that Liath saw them. Monsieur Neuvillette, is something wrong with [Y/N]'s parents? Did they do something to [Y/N]?" melusine looked worried.
Neuvillette slowly shook his head.
"I am not sure. But it is possible. Can you..."
Sedene didn't let Neuvillette finish.
"Yes, Monsieur Neuvillette, I will tell others to keep an eye on them!"
With determination in her eyes, melusine turned around and left Neuvillette's office.
Chief Justice made a mental note to himself. He should spoke to Liath as soon as possible.
____________
"[Y/N]'s parents? Well, I don't really know what to say about them." Liath scratched behind her ear. Melusine tapped her foot against the pavement. "[Y/N] said, that they are nice people, but are very busy with the recent moving to the new nation" Liath frowned. "I saw their parents few times. One thing for certain. They do look more interested in settling in, then looking after [Y/N]. They eat lunch with us every day, and, most of the time, they only have snacks, instead of normal food."
__________
You were sitting under Hydro Archon's statue, as usual. You were bored. All of your melusines friends were on duty today, you still didn't make friends among other kids, and your parents were busy. You were alone, you were bored, and you were hungry.
If it wasn't for your parents' refusal to give you keys to a new house, letting you stay at home, while they were at work, and inability to give you a few more mora coins...
You were so lost in your mind, you didn't notice, how a shadow was cast over you.
A quiet coughing, however, grabbed your attention.
You looked up. And saw Monsieur Neuvillette. You haven't seen him in person before, but you recognized him from melusines' tales. You gulped. You felt nervous around Chief Justice. And, it seems, he was waiting for you to pay attention to him
You immediately jumped up from your seat, stand up, and nodded to Neuvillette.
"Good afternoon, Monsieur Neuvillette!" you whispered. You didn't hear Neuvillette's chuckle.
"Good afternoon to you two, [Y/N], right? Melusines have been talking about you."
A shy smile appeared on your face.
"Really? Great! I really like them! They are my friends!"
Neuvillette nodded.
"Good to hear. Actually, I am here, because melusines asked me to keep you company at lunch. If you are with that, of course."
Smile disappeared from your face. You don't want to show to Chief Justice, that you only don't have mora to buy something for lunch.
Like he read your thoughts, Neuvillette continue.
"I overdid myself yesterday while cooking, and now have enough food for two people. If you want, I am more than fine to share some with you."
He reached a hand towards you, inviting you to join him.
After few seconds, you took his hand.
___________________
A week passed.
A week, during which Neuvillette spend time with [Y/N].
Neuvillette couldn't really say, what was going on with him. There was no reason for him to be so concerned over the child. Kid have parents, kid have home!
Neuvillette told it to himself, while getting a soft bed and blankets for a new room in his house. Neuvillette told it to himself, while buying toys and new furniture for a new room in his house. Neuvillette told to himself, while cooking food for [Y/N].
For his hatchling.
He should keep his hatchling safe.
Especially, from this pair, that were neglecting you.
___________
Something strange was happening.
At first, you eat lunches with Neuvillette. Who always has enough food for two.
Melusines started to play close attention to you and your parents.
Then, Neuvillette started letting you spend time in his office. It was better, then staying on Court of Fontaine's streets, yes. But it was strange.
Then one day, your parents suddenly faced with legal charges. They were found guilty and send to Fortress of Meropide.
And you were adopted by Chief Justice.
___________
You were so quiet, while Neuvillette was taking you to his house, holding your hand.
Chief Justice doesn't mind the silence.
Soon, his hatchling will see his new room and new house.
His hatchling will be safe.
He will take care of his hatchling.
And make sure, that no one will harm His Hatchling.

Note: This is just an Idea. I don’t know if I’m going to make a full fic or incorporate this into future fics.
You know what’s not always talked about? Alfred’s angst potential in the neglected!reader fics. We know Alfred left his life behind to work for Martha and Thomas Wayne and then later on becoming the adoptive father to Bruce. Along with his old life, he had to leave his daughter Julia behind (I don’t remember which timeline but i think this is flashpoint)
I would love to see a fanfic where the reader realizes that Alfred sticks with them not because of familial love or duty, he stayed because of guilt. Reader realizes that Alfred doesn’t see them at all, he sees Julia and what it’s like if he raised Julia.
Bonus angst if Alfred started pushing the reader towards the things he remembered Julia likes: her favourite colour, her preferences in clothes, food, the things she hates, etc. Bonus angst (2x) if Alfred once accidentally called reader as ‘Julia’

Can you write yan Childe, Capitano and Arle and a teen reader that they have to train because Tsarirsa sees potential in them to be the next harbinger? Tysm if you write this!
Thank you for your request‼️
Platonic yandere Childe,Capitano and Arlecchino with teen reader!
[Warnings!: none]
The tsaritsa herself had acknowledged your potential, potential tyat could fill in one of the empty seats of her soldiers...whether you chose to go along with it or not, you were personally tasked to one of the harbingers for further training.
Childe
Childe would take on the mantle with little to no protest. Honestly, it’s a good turnout for him—he has a sparring partner now! You’re a bit younger than he would like, but in a way, you remind him of his younger self.
He’s more than willing to spend hours trying to get you to be as versatile as possible. Just like him, he insists you know how to use as many weapons and techniques as possible when you’re training.
As time goes on, your spars and training with him become something he looks forward to dearly, so don’t disappoint him. He grows a tad protective, often “helping” you get patched up (in reality, he does all the work while you sit quietly and don’t protest) after duels.
Expect a good amount of little gifts too. He’s not above bragging about you to anyone who will listen—expect his siblings to know all about you before you’ve even met.
"Pretty good! Your form was a bit off near the end, but overall, a good improvement," he chuckles, his gloved hand finding its way to your hair.
"Tonia sent me some pastries. Let’s go enjoy them together, hm? You can’t become a Harbinger if you’re hungry all the time! Come on!"
Your boots dig into the snow as he rapidly drags you off. Even though he’s very upbeat about any improvement you make, he doesn’t seem willing to let go too soon.
---
Capitano
Capitano takes his assignment very seriously. He’s firm and intimidating at first, but the more time you spend with him, the more you realize how patient he can be with you.
Of course, being trained by the number one Harbinger himself comes with heavy expectations. Capitano is meticulous with what and how he teaches you. War tactics are a particular focus, and you often hear him ramble about them during training.
You’re sure to be exhausted by the end of each day, but if the captain deems your performance satisfactory, you’ll receive a grunt of approval.
The captain feels rather strange about the soft, weak spot you eventually carve into his cold, rotting chest. He maintains a firm exterior, but you’ll notice moments when he offers you advice that seems almost... personal.
Though he won’t show it, Capitano takes quiet pride in your progress. In his eyes, you are destined to become a great Harbinger—a worthy servant of the Tsaritsa alongside him. Do not disappoint.
"You did well," he grunts in his deep tone, the sound ringing smoothly in your ears as he gives your shoulder a small squeeze of approval.
"If you’re still feeling restless... you’re welcome to take a walk with me."
"Your improvement has been satisfactory. At this pace, you’ll serve the Tsaritsa well," he hums as you trail behind him. Despite your legs feeling numb from the cold air biting at your cheeks, you wonder if you’ll ever not feel overwhelmed by his immense presence.
---
Arlecchino
Arlecchino is arguably the most experienced in training someone for the position of Harbinger, given her work with Lyney in preparing him for the role of head of the House of the Hearth.
That being said, your initial interactions with her feel purely transactional. Her training covers a wide range of skills, and you’ll often be deployed on missions alongside other members of the Hearth.
Her evaluations are based on the results of these missions and the head-to-head fights she has with you, during which she carefully analyzes how you implement the tactics she has taught.
Since you’re training to work alongside her, expect words of caution and occasionally thinly veiled complaints about her colleagues.
She’ll be oddly pleased when you bond with the children of the Hearth, as communication and trust are key to her.
"Good. You were quick to dodge that. But remember, in a real fight, there will be no moments for hesitation," she says simply, her heels clicking against the ground as she approaches you.
"As a treat, how about you go aid Lyney and Lynette on a mission? It’s a simple one, really, and you can have the rest of the day to yourself afterward," she says, pausing beside you. Her fingers briefly tap your shoulder as she waits for your response.

Hi! I absolutely love your platonic harbingers posts and was wondering if i could request yandere platonic harbingers with a very shy/quiet reader?
Yes ofc!! If you want anything more detailed, feel free to request for specific harbingers!!
Pierro thinks it is a good thing overall. If you were bold and outgoing then you’d be much more likely to want to be out and about where him or the others can’t constantly supervise you. Yes, having you willingly shy away from strangers makes his job much easier
Capitano is very overprotective. He has a sort of sixth sense as to when you’re feeling overwhelmed or someone is making you feel uncomfortable. People don’t normally have the luxury of being able to approach you or even be able to be around you at all, but they’re definitely not going to be getting any closer with Capitano lurking behind you
Columbina finds it ever so adorable!! She’s always looking for new ways to get cute little reactions out of you, whether it be sneaking up for a surprise hug or dedicating songs to you! Only she’s allowed to tease you about it though, anyone else that tries is bound to end up regretting it
Arlecchino let’s you rely on her. She knows from looking after the many children in her orphanage that enabling your behaviour will only make it worse, but she can’t help herself but to let you whisper to her what you want and speak for you. She can’t help but enable those behaviours that will lead you to becoming dependant on her
Dottore thinks you’re ever so fun to rile up. Finding out what things bother you and to what degree is quite a fun experiment for him. Of course, he’ll never take it too far… but coming to help you juuust before it’s too late always gets the best reactions from you and gives him an excuse to be as harsh as he wants to the ‘danger’
Signora wants to help you become more confident. She knows your worth, and she wants you to know it as well so she sometimes comes off a bit harsh with her words to you. But just know that it all comes from a genuine place in an effort to help you be the best you, and her words don’t hold the same biting chill as they do when speaking to those who even dare to look your way
Pantalone loves spoiling you constantly. The way you’re too modest to want to accept the gifts but also not assertive enough to reject them makes for a very interesting reaction. He can practically see the gears turning in your head, but is always very pleased when you accept it each time. Just be sure he’s the only one who’s gifts you take so earnestly
Sandrone wants to add you to her collection. She has a variety of puppets, big and small, tough and timid; but you’re so unique and well… you. She just has to have you. You’re so docile and sweet and follow along with her every command already, now she just needs to find a way to keep you by her side
Tartaglia’s older brother instincts constantly kick in around you. He just wants to spoil you and coddle you and make sure no harm can befall you. He’s ever so gentle with you, making sure never to displace a hair on your head, but anyone who even thinks about inconveniencing you will get some extra brutal treatment

Even more sagau and/or yandere ideas!
(realizing now i'm straying from the yandere side but it’s still there so its fine)(also heads up I will be posting the whole collection onto my ao3 account hellomelon8
1.my personal favorite, it’s a sagau idea where arlecchino picks up a random child who ends up being the creator, nobody knows at first so arlecchino thinks she’s just picking up some random ass child she found in the woods. When brought to the house of the Hearth the houses luck suddenly increases tenfold, the enemies stop being hostile, actually becoming rather friendly and help them out a lot. So many rare plants and herbs appear around the house, sickness vanishes, it was all so weird. At the time arlecchino hadn’t though it had anything to do with the child as she brings so many children to the house, all with their weird quirks and actions, trouble and blessings. But then one day the child gives her a flower-which arlecchino secretly keeps because well all know the dad of year secretly cares about her children. after 1 week the flower does not wilt, not 2, not 3, not 4. It nevers wilts again, but yet again arlecchino brushes it off.
But then one day the child gets a papercut and a droplet of golden blood falls out. Then all of a suddenly arlecchino realizes; ‘holy shit, this is the creator’ and now has to protect her child from a bunch of weirdos who are obsessed with the creator in such freaky ways.
2. Platonic Yandere Papa Neuvillette with a baby dragon reader, finding baby dragon reader while they were still in there egg. As we all know Neuvillette spoils that baby rotten as he had actually found another member of his race. I’ve seen all those fanarts why dragon Neuvillette is hugging someone with his entire body and i’d imagine him doing that to baby dragon reader, also when a mama cat corners her kitten and holds the kitten down while giving them a bath is what i’d imagine him doing. Neuvillette would be fiercely overprotective, even more than he is with the melusines. I’d imagine baby dragon reader would be very annoyed by this, especially when they’re trying to sleep and neuvillette is just towering over them. Overall it’d probably be like the relationship of a baby cat and an adult cat who have a bond.
3. Yandere fontaine trio x female dazai reader, reader also grew up in the house of the hearth and ended up committing so many violent crimes at a young age due to the previous head’s influence. Then one day one of the reader’s friends die and she completely changes her attitude, instead trying to kill herself while commiting good deeds as some sort of atonement. Meets lyney, lynette, and freminet. They become yander and are constantly trying to stop the reader from killing herself. Imagine reader sulking from a failed attempt at suicide not noticing the three idiots who had just narrowly sabatoged there plans.
4.another sagau-ish idea except it involves twins and a classic manhwa plot(ashtarte cough cough). Where a prophecy comes that a pair of twins will be born, one with powers of light who’d lead teyvat to greatness and the other with the power of darkness who’d destroy teyvat. I’d also like to throw reincarnation into this, you get reincarnated as the twin people perceive as ‘evil’, treated awfully and thrown into the abyss in hopes the abyss will just kill you while your twin (someone who also is reincarnated-who treated you awfully in your past life and was a bully) lives in luxury as they’re worship as a ‘savior’ so naturally you team up with the abyss, use your powers of ‘darkness’, team up with snezhnya, kill your twin and then take down celestia along with all the other archons as some sort of revenge. Ah, the villain reader. classic
5. Travelers aunty reader anyone? Aunty reader who took care of lumine and aether after their parents died. After a while the twins insisted that they wanted to travel on their own so the reader let them(then they immediately got trapped in teyvat) 500 years in the future aunty reader is super worried and goes down to teyvat to find the traveler. Of course the traveler is nothing short of relieved when they finally finally find someone they trust. So basically platonic yandere traveler traps there aunty down in teyvat with them because they miss her so much and who knows? Maybe other people might become yandere?

Hey dude. It's me - anon with that SAGAU!kid!reader idea. Well, I was thinking about Liyue or Sumeru men (I'm that kind of person, that's into guys LOL). If there is a relationship, then only platonic one (or maybe father-child in Zhongli's case).
So I will try to go with Zhongli, Baizhu, Alhaitham and Cyno (probably Gaming, cuz he's like a son to me) That's it for now Hope I didn't ask for much tho 😅
CONNECTED TO THIS IDEA!
Aye aye, Anon! God!Child! Reader Platonic Meets Ups It is!
Also plz note that I might not be able to list every Sumeru/Liyue man there is in Genshin bc Im doing this at the top of my head—
Sumeru And Liyuen Men (And Gaming) With The God Child.
(Warning: Might be OOC!)
Cyno
The General Mahamatra may not exactly be well-versed when it comes to comforting words (except his puns—and even then, many people would say otherwise), but Cyno is a sincere man. You can trust that he will stick to his word.
And he does, when he promised to look after the Almighty Creator who is a child (not unlike Nahida, but they certainly have more of a mindset of a child—). But was he expecting your chaotic behavior (explosives Klee Style)? Yeah...No.
Bro nearly thought you were held at gunpoint or tricked/manipulated into doing it until he realized you did on your own.
"...Your Grace...Please don't blow up the store again." So instead of protecting you from harm by others, Cyno is more focused on protecting others from harm by you. As much as he doesn't like to think of it that way, you were a lot more dangerous than any eremite or sand monster there was out there.
At least he's still doing his job, being the General Mahamatra! You gift him a flower crown, and he has to take it or else. :)
Tighnari
Since he works with many young forest rangers, and tutors Collei, Tighnari is probably used to dealing with children. Dealing with the Almighty Creator certainly wasn't going to be an issue under this Forest Watcher's eyes.
That was...until you blew up a rishboland tiger. By yourself. On your own. Without getting hurt.
He was not the only freaking out, mind you. Collei was losing it, and Tighnari? He's internally screaming and getting metaphorical heart attacks.
"Your Grace, what were you thinking, running off like that? I know you're strong and you want to protect everyone, but you can really hurt the environment and—" He tries his best to hold back his sassiness while he scolds you, considering some children are much more emotional than others.
He sets up some basic rules for you to follow to make sure that you respect the Avidya Rainforest grounds, but also protect yourself from any form of harm.
Bro becomes a helicopter parent while you're under his care. Have fun, and I hope you enjoy mushrooms. Collei will cook you something else if you don't like what Tighnari cooks, though. :)
Kaveh
This man. He will BUILD you toys. He will DRAW you stories. He may even tell you stories himself.
Mehrak is your best friend when you're around Kaveh. And that man tries his best to make sure your time with him is good. He also refrains from drinking, which is nice! He's improving a little! :D
Absolutely gets worried if you run off without him knowing or if you're hiding from him for too long while playing hide and seek. He goes into an utter MELTDOWN.
And if you blow something up? Boy, if you thought Tighnari getting metaphorical heart attacks was bad, think again—Kaveh might actually get a heart attack.
"Your Grace! What—What were you thinking? Where were you? What did you do? Why did I hear an explosion?!" He's trying to keep himself as calm as possible, but Kaveh is an emotional man. He's kind of failing—
Luckily, with your go-lucky attitude, you pull Kaveh around and take his mind off of work and your explosions! Win-win! :D
Al-haitham
The moment Nahida assigned him the task of taking care of the Almighty Creator, who is a child, bro is planning his things carefully. He is safe-keeping his books, he's renovating Kaveh's bedroom (bc yes), he's buying a few colouring books and crayons.
What he caught him by surprise was not how trusting you were to new strangers you barely knew. It was how you had fun with explosions and exploding everything in your path.
You can imagine as you're being carried away by the Scribe, he's giving you a one-sentence scolding.
"Your Grace, don't ever do that again, it's not nice." He would go into further detail, but he's sure you wouldn't care all that much about data and analysis and stuff like that, so he just ends it as it is.
You're still gonna do it, there's no doubt. It's just now Al-haitham is preparing for your next incoming attack as well.
Zhongli
Grandpa gramps is here woohoo! He's probably the most calmest out of everyone on this request list LOL. You can imagine he's following you calmly, apologizing and paying (through Childe's money cough) for the damages you caused.
Believe it or not, but it was Hu Tao who found you first and decided to take you to Mr. Zhongli for babysitting. He contemplates how the Director found you and brought you back.
The first time you explode something, he is definitely surprised. And concerned of the people who got hurt. You can't fault him for being worried for the mortals that were involved—Liyue Harbor is basically his child. Bro's been governing it for thousands of years.
"Your Grace, Little One, let's try not to put strain in the efforts of an adult's day-to-day life." He scolds you, and will definitely be more keen on your whereabouts, but he does this in a gentle tone. At the very least, you give him something to do that doesn't require him to present himself as the supposedly "deceased" Geo Archon.
Baizhu
With the guy's health issues...it's hard to say if he'll be able to keep up with you and your constant outings all around Liyue Harbor. Changsheng is definitely worried about Baizhu's stress levels as he has to figure out what you did this time and make sure no one was harmed.
He constantly has to ask Qiqi to go find you since he literally cannot keep up with your speed, lest he actually faints or something. You were that quick.
Luckily, if he hears of your whereabouts, he will definitely arrive just in time to apologize and give free check-ups to everyone involved in your explosion party.
"Now, Your Grace, please refrain from hurting others. It's not good to hurt someone's health." You can certainly expect Baizhu to give you a scolding—as well as a basic understanding of medical care in case either you or someone else will need it, and he can't make it there in time.
Like Kaeya (And Tighnari in this post), Baizhu will definitely write you some rules in a notebook and makes you recite them at least twice a day so that you remember not to hurt other people or damage your own health.
He is a doctor for a reason. It's his job to look out for others—even chaotic children with explosives.
Gaming
HAVE NO FEAR, GAMING IS HERE!
Bro is basically your Big Brother who does cool dances and gives you snacks and protects you. Since he's a real foody, you'll definitely know which places are the best to buy snacks!
You find his Wushou Dancing cool as well. He takes pride in it tbh. I mean, who wouldn't be ecstatic if the Almighty Creator loves it?
He does get a bit panic-y when he sees you blow things up, though. As much as he wants to pursue Wushou Dancing as his daily career, he still needs his job as a Shipment Guard.
"Y/N! No! Don't blow that up—!" Yes, he took you out once to travel with the shipment goods for one time, and he's never taken you with him again unless you promise not to blow anything that are near the goods.
He usually leaves you in Liyue Harbor when he's making these Shipment trips, but once he returns, you can certainly count on him to give you some tasty snack or a fulfilling dinner, as well as a free small Wushou Dance.
Big Brother Gaming does not disappoint!

Title: Stepfather Thoma
Character(s): Thoma (Genshin Impact)
Summary: Modern au, Stepfather au; Thoma always tried his best to be by your side ever since he first saw you when he first started working at the kindergarten.
Warnings/tags: Fem!reader, child!reader, purely platonic, obsessive, yandere themes, minor character death
Tumblr media
Your mother was always busy ever since you were young, after she and your father broke up she had to work harder to support the two of you. Maybe in the later years, you would have been thankful for what she has done but you were still but a small child. Still too young for you to understand that your mother can't go to all the parent-teacher meetings and sports festivals and would pick you up late from school because she was often too busy to pick you up on time.
Can't be with you often as you would like.
So more often than not you were stuck in the kindergarten alone, your friends all already left with their parents holding their hands as they tell them about the fun things that happened that day while their parents would humor them with a smile on their faces.
You wished that your mother would come faster…
But it was alright because Thoma was there! A teacher at your kindergarten who was always there with you when you had to wait for your mother! He was a nice man playing board games, tea parties, playing with the ball, and anything that you wanted to do he would play with you.
Thoma was the one who always makes you happy when you feel lonely. Sometimes when you come back home you would miss him when you watched your mother slave away on the laptop for some project she was working on.
You thought of your lonely room or living room where your mom promised to make a pillow fortress with you when she was finally free from work. Yet the living room continued to be devoid of the puffy material and laughter.
But in the end, when your mother comes to the kindergarten you would still cheerfully hold your mother's hand as the two of you would head back home. Too excited in seeing your mother’s face, excited to tell you everything that happened in school, excited to tell her what you did when you waited for her same as the other kids and their parents. Telling her that teacher Thoma and you drew pictures, or how you guys played with the lego and made a castle together.
You didn't see how Thoma would watch longingly at you and your mother, envious of her relationship with you and how close you guys were.
Thoma always wanted you, ever since he first laid eyes on you. It wasn't something romantic, it was more of how a mother bear would be protective over her bear cubs. It was platonic and… obsessive.
You are just so adorable! How could he help it?
The first time he saw you, he noticed how sweet you were. A troublemaker sometimes sure but weren't all kids like that? But he would always see that tint of loneliness in your eyes when he saw you watching other kids. So he tried to be nice to you, spending time while the both of you wait for your mother.
Thoma wanted you, he wanted you to look at him as you did to your mother. The brightness in your eyes when you see her come to pick you up and the bright and loud voice of excitement that you would give when you explained everything that happened in class that day.
Thoma wanted that…Sure you are happy around him and talk to him a lot as he became the closes teacher to you in the kindergarten but it still lacked… lacked the joy that you have for your mother. This certain reliance that a child would have on their parents.
So he made a decision back then… he wanted you but it was not like he could steal you. He was only a teacher, nothing grand nor does he think he has the wits to outsmart others like his friend Ayato. He didn't want to see you sad and scared either… You were too precious to have tear fall from your eyes, all he wants was for you to smile.
So he started asking you what your mother was like, things that you like about her and he wanted to change a small bit not too obvious but if there was a small thing that you liked your mother doing like patting your head or holding your hand when you go out, he already has that done. If you told him that you like that your mother would listen to your stories all the time or something about candies that she has that you absolutely love. He will listen to your stories! He would also buy you the candy that you absolutely love, and every day he would give you one.
But he also asked what’s your mother's likes and dislikes too, you didn't understand what he was really asking about but you were too excited to talk about your mother. Telling him almost everything you know about your mom, some stories that made you proud or very clear in your mind you would say it 2 to 3 times, and Thoma would just listen smiling.
You were excited when you saw your mother and Thoma talk for the first time a little longer than the last other than a short ‘thank you’, two of your favorite people in the world were talking to each other after all! Most of the conversations were about you really, like how you were doing well at the kindergarten and that you were a good kid. All sounded pretty innocent to you. Your mother also thanked Thoma for always looking after you so when the two of you when back home you noticed the flushed cheeks your mother had.
You didn't understand why your mother’s red cheek, you didn't realize that your teacher Thoma had been very special kind of ‘kind’ or ‘concerned’ towards your mother because… you didn't hear it, you didn't notice nor understand. You found their conversation boring after a while and chose to go somewhere else to play and amuse yourself while they continued talking.
After that, they two would talk often when your mom would come to pick you up. Thoma would talk about you while she would listen or he would ask her questions, like how was her day and such. Your mother started to ask you what teacher Thoma was like and you innocently would tell her how amazing he was. After that, she would ask about his likes and dislikes, his hobbies and then would ask you to ask him what kind of women he likes. It was a slip-up really asking you that last question it wasn't like you would really know.
One day she was looking at her wardrobe when she asked you what his favorite color was. You did ask him that question before and quickly answered that his favorite color was red. After that, she took you to your friend's home while she was dressed in a pretty red outfit.
You didn't find out that Thoma and your mother started to date, you noticed something was odd between them at one point but you never really understood, maybe you didn't care, maybe you noticed but the focus was never there and you ended up forgetting about it at one point.
It was a few months then when your mother suddenly sat you down, at night when you already got ready for bed. Her eyes filled with concern as she asked you what you thought about her marrying again. You just tilted your head at her and slowly nod a bit hesitant because of the atmosphere. Her smile in relief was the last thing you remember that night as you gaze at the ceiling glowing star stickers excited that you finally have a dad, and not only that it was Thoma!
You greeted him with the biggest smile that next day, asking question after question about him and your mom’s relationship some he just skipped some he answered vaguely. You were a child after all no need to know all the details what Thoma wanted to know was your day, your childish thoughts and feelings he was more interested in them than your mother.
It was a month or so when you gasp at how pretty your mom looked in her pretty white wedding dress, with a flustered look on her face so genuinely happy and you were the flower girl! You were so excited to have a new family as you watch your mother and Thoma kiss on the stage as people cheered, you thought you cheered the loudest that day.
You didn't see Thoma’s gaze towards you too happy for your mom and having a family with a father, you can't hear his thoughts that you were in a way finally his, his little daughter than some kindergarten teacher that can't follow you to your future as you grow. He can be with you as you grow up and stay right by your side. Nobody can tell him off with his obsession towards you because he was your father, after all, a parental figure who worries about their little daughter. Really Thoma just can't calm his beating heart as he watched you cheer for him, as he thought about the future with you with him.
Your mornings were always fun, Thoma was the one who almost always made breakfast after he moved into your and your mom’s home. He was the one who now takes you to the kindergarten.
You didn't realize it nor your mother too tired and too in love but Thoma was slowly taking more and more of your time.
Times when you watched your mom leave for work when it was the holidays your stepfather Thoma would always be there for you asking if you would like to bake with him or play board games with him. Your stepdad would always make you smile at the end of the day as you felt reassured in your heart that you would not be alone as he told you that he would always be there for you.
When your mother told you that she was too tired to talk and to play with your toys instead Thoma would be there asking you if you would like to play tea party with him, your teddy bear is a little lonely and would like to hang out with you after all. Your mom was always loving, but she does have moments when she is just so so tired that she didn't want anything to do with you that even smiling was hard, Thoma would be there to comfort you after he guided your mom to the bathroom for a long relaxing bath. Telling you that your mom had a rough day and that you could just hang out with him instead.
You didn't realize it but you started to rely on Thoma more and more, your mother also didn't realize how attached you were to him happy that you have someone other than her that cared and adored you just as much if not more and would be there for you when she couldn’t.
You and your mom didn't see the glint in Thoma’s eyes, absolutely happy that you were slowly looking at him. The obsession that you were his daughter and that he could always be there for you never disappeared and instead grew stronger and stronger, it was unsettling how much he loved you and treasured you yet to others all they see was a father who spoiled their little princess. Nobody saw how he manipulated his words, words that were bittersweet yet poison to a young one, how could they? When they see how much fond love Thoma has towards you, to them it was just cute really.
But as time went Thoma became less and less satisfied with his life, wanting to hog all your attention even the attention you gave to your mother he wanted it all. Because no matter what he could do, he could not change the relationship between you and her.
He started to grow mildly annoyed when your mother would ask for his attention when she ask him to spend a little more time with her instead of you. She noticed how much time he spent with you her daughter yet gave no attention to her, his spouse. When he gave her so much in the past, where did it all go? Thoma grew even more annoyed at her off days when she could finally be with you and play together with you. Taking all his time from you that day, that you still loved your mother this much.
He thought about a life with you and without your mother, it was just you and him. How wonderful it would be, to be with you and to have your undivided attention than to share with your mom. Sure you would be sad to see your mother gone and feel a little abandoned but don't worry he would be with you all the way as he helped you heal any remaining scars that were left by your mom and after that, it would really just be you and him for real this time. And a friend was willing to help him this time make it happen.
You don't remember how it happened, you and your stepdad had headed out to the morning market and had just returned when you saw police cars in front of your home. It was confusing and concerning as you tightly gripped your stepdad’s hand in worry as to why police would come to your home as you already knew that your mom was out at work.
After that, it was almost a blur when you listened to your stepdad talk with the police as the policeman gave you a hesitant glance unsure to say it in front of you but in the end chose to do so, the shock in Thoma’s voice when the police told him that your mother was caught in a car accident and that she passed away as she was taken away to the hospital.
You asked him what happened unable to comprehend what was really happening. But seeing how hesitant he was and how the pupils of his eyes and his hands shook he took you to another room for privacy, hugging you as if it was some sort of comfort when you wanted to know what was going on.
You screamed your voice raw that day, as you cried and shouted at Thoma that no your mother would never leave you behind and that she loved you a lot. You screamed and pushed him away, you cried and slammed your tiny fist on his legs too short and angry that he would ever say that, that your mother left you when she loved you so much.
Thoma tucked you into bed after you finally fell asleep, too tired to stay awake any longer. It was a busy day for him for a few days, having to handle so many things, many would pity him for losing his wife after a short time together but many would also feel their blood turn cold at the smile Thoma had as he combed your hair with his hand. The soft whispers that he would always be there for you and that he would forever love and cherish you more than your mother ever had.
You were finally his and he was finally content.

Note: This is really old.... like months old written when I first started writing for Genshin which is almost a year now. But leaving it on drafts is a bit sad so I thought why not post it now.

Hey! It’s 🍉ANON! Hope y’all missed me!
Anyways, I was wondering if I could request again! Of course, if I’ve already requested something, don’t mind this one! Just put it to the side..Or whatever
I would like to request a Yandere!SAGAU + Teen!Reader
Basically, since it’s a (Platonic) Yandere, I think they would basically all coddle {Reader}
Like since they’re a God and all, they’re dressed in fancy attire- but the clothes are always to big on them or they’re made in soft colors, so the characters coo over how ‘tiny’ and ‘cute’ {Reader} is
And if any of them are designers, they make them cut outfits like poofy dresses or little suits and force them to wear it
Like {Reader} is like, “I’m a teen! And a GOD! I refuse to wear this!” But they still end up wearing it lol
And maybe the characters fighting for their attention and time, maybe becoming a little too aggressive towards each other.. Maybe even threatening others to stay away from {Reader}..
Or! Or, if they talk about their family before they were transported, the characters engrave that into their brains basically and try to act like their them, or get upset that they mention that and say how they’re their ‘new family’
Anyways, I’ll make this short so I’ll end it here! Also, you as a writer truly inspire me every time you take my requests! Maybe one day I’ll be brave enough to post my ideas on my own online.. Thank you!
Sincerely, 🍉ANON
🍉ANON Thank you for the compliment, and I'm looking forward to the day you grce Tumblr with your writing!
Yes, Reader is coddled to high heaven. The archons have had unoffical custody court over you. With some math done by Neuvillette, each archon/ region gets equal time with you. You're a young human and young god, so everyone thinks you need protection from everything. There are different types of coddling that you experience, all based on the type of platonic yandere the character is.
______________________________________________________________
Mom Types: these platonic yanderes will now act like your new mom. They are strict, caring, and will make sure you become well rounded if it's the last thing they do. While there is variety in the parenting styles among these yanderes, there is still a common thread between them.
(Jean, Eula, Xianyun, Ningguang, Raiden Ei, Kujo Sara, Kokomi, Faruzan, Dehya, Arlecchino, Clorinde, Chiori, Chevreuse)
______________________________________________________________
Dad types: These types will be the best dad they can. They're protective over you, ready, willing, and able to fight anyone for you. They pull double duty as best friend, and guardian. They're strict when you need to be, but sometimes you can flutter your eyelashes to make them bend to your will. Agian, there are different parenting styles between each yandere.
(Neuvillette, Wriothesley, Alhathiam, Gorou, Kazuha, Baizhu, Zhongli, Albedo, Diluc)
______________________________________________________________
Uncle Types: These are the characters who are too irresponsible to be dads. They are the ones that help you cause small scale mayhem, while also making sure you have fun. They'll teach you street smart things, and are more lenient platonic yanderes
(Kaeya, Venti, Itto, Heizou, Cyno, Tighnari, Kaveh)
______________________________________________________________
Aunt Types: These are the characters who are the gender bend version of the uncle types, with a more caring side.
(Navia, Emile, Candace, Nilou, Nahida, Shinobu, Yae Miko, Beidou, Yelan, Shenhe, Yanfei, Ganyu, Keqing, Mona, Lisa, Rosaira)
______________________________________________________________
Cousin Types: These are the characters who are cousin like in the way you two interact. There is not a sibling bond, but there is a ride or die bond. This platonic yandere will keep you out of trouble for a price, while helping cause problems.
(Amber, Noelle, Fiscal, Mika, Xiangling, Xinyan, Hu Tao, Yun Jin, Sayu, Kirara, Dori, Wanderer, Layla, Charlotte)
______________________________________________________________
Big Brother Types: These platonic yanderes are your big brothers now, no, there is no arguing with them about this. They well care for you, being soft and kind is their thing. But, they will keep a tight leash on you if you even thing of doing anything dumb or they see a threat to you.
(Lyney, Fremient, Sethos, Ayato, Thoma, Gaming, Xiao, Xingqiu, Chongyun, Childe, Razor, Bennett)
______________________________________________________________
Sibling Types: These platonic yanderes are like the big brother yanderes. Kind, soft, and willing to protect your and your innocence. When it comes to spending time with them, there is mire dress up than you'd probably like.
(Klee, Diana, Barbara, Qiqi, Yaoyao, Ayaka, Yoimiya, Collei, Lynette, Furina, Sigewinne)
______________________________________________________________
The mom and dad types dress you in fancy clothes, finding it cute how big they are on you. Whenever you try and argue about wearing the fancy clothes, the mom and dad types use their authority voices, the aunt and uncle types use bribery, and the sibling and cousin types uses a mix of puppy dog eyes and bribery.
They is a lot of rivalry. Different sets of sibling are at each other's throats, the cousin and sibling types are usually at odds. Some mom and dad types bicker while the aunt and uncle types compete with each other and the mom and dad types. It's a mess you're always caught up in, and it's is never fun.
If you mention anything good about your family back home, the respective type of platonic yandere will try and copy that behavior. If you mention anything bad, they'll avoid that behavior like the plague

Welcoming Legacy (It welcomes you) - SAGAU ft. Foul Legacy Tartaglia
Ever since you woke up in Teyvat, you’ve been… confused. The memories of your previous life fading, leaving you to wander. One thing was for certain though, the people here despised you for the face you wore. That was, until waking in the Snezhnayan wilderness after another death, a certain abyssal harbingers saves you from the cold.
cw: imposter au SAGAU shenanigans, temporary death, hyperthermia, passing out, not very yandere (but from his perspective it definitely would be), hurt/comfort, Capitano cameo! Written to be x reader ish, but it’s vague and ur kinda cold so can be read as Romantic or Platonic! Will be tagging as both lemme know if it shouldn’t be.
1.5k words
~~~
It’s almost funny, you think, how he’s the one who reconsized you first.
No. Not recognised. This was the first time you’d met any of them. The vision holders, the ‘characters’ that you once fawned over and held very dear. They wouldn’t know your name, your face—except for the fact they did. And they hated you for it. “Impersonator”, “Heretic”, “Damned”, “Witch.”
They all looked at you as if you’d committed a grave crime. A slight that could not be forgiven. But how could you have? You were given this name, and born with this face.
And yet you were hunted. And yet you were killed. Arrow through the heart, spear through the back, claymore to the ribs. The pain was unbearable, but death wasn’t the end. Each time you closed your eyes, hoping for an end to the nightmare, you awoke somewhere new.
You recognized the landscape from hours spent playing the game, and quickly learned to avoid settlements, villages, and most importantly, vision holders. The pain of death was too much, leaving your body trembling with sobs and quietly pleading to whatever force put you on Teyvat to just let you go home.
After the fourth death—at the hands of an electro charged spear, courtesy of a certain mahamantra—you woke up, shaking uncontrollably. Only this time, not from phantom pains or the emotional toll of death. This time, is was due to a heavy, bone deep, unnatural cold.
Snezhnaya.
Of course it had to be Snezhnaya.
You whimpered, cursing your luck. This would be a slow, painful death if you couldn’t find shelter and fast.
Stumbling to your feet—bare, the clothes that stayed with you after death did not include them—you looked around pitifully. A snowy forest. Beautiful, but useless, and hard to see far in. You’d never been to Snezhnaya in game either, so there was no way you’d be able to find shelter. Pitifully, you dragged yourself under a tree, curling into yourself under the pine’s branches, hoping it wouldn’t be too painful. Achingly, you let your eyes close, waiting for the next place.
Only, before the cold took you, a rumbling call broke through the tranquil silence of the forest.
Blearily, you opened your eyes. Some kind of beast? It wasn’t like you were familiar with the creatures of Snezhnaya. But it didn’t sound like a normal enemy monster. It was sad, keening… longing.
It called out again. You… would rather die quickly to a beast than slowly to hypothermia, you supposed.
“Here,” you called out weakly. You clicked your tongue a few times, as if luring in a cat. “Come on.”
You laughed slightly. Had delusion from hypothermia set in so quickly? You were making kissy noises at the monster in the forest. Luring in your death with soft sweet noises.
The forest was still for a moment. And then it wasn’t.
Snow crunched underfoot of what was undoubtedly a large creature. You were pretty sure you heard the waning bend of pine trees as it shoved pass.
Was this a mistake? Probably. You were too cold to care. Maybe its claws would be warm as it tore you apart. Ha. Wouldn’t that be nice?
At some point your eyes had slipped closed again, but it was close now. You could hear it. So close—you waited for the sink of claws into your flesh—
It came to a stop in front of you, inches away, maybe, if the warm breath on your skin was any indication.
In a raspy, warbling tone, it spoke English. “Creator?”
What?
You opened your eyes again, and gasped as you saw… Tartaglia? No, not him, exactly. But, his Foul Legacy. The rough plates of armor adorning his limbs, the red mask with a singular clouded pearl eye in the center, the sheer size of him.
“Ajax?” You mumbled.
“Creator!” It said again, rough, desperate, as if it had a throat not made for speaking.
“Hi.” You said simply, before your eyes slipped closed.
~
Warmth.
There was warmth.
A lot of warmth.
Fire.
You sighed, not daring to open your eyes for fear it might disappear. That you might still be laying in the snow, your blood crystallizing in your veins.
A smooth, clawed hand cupped your cheek, then your jaw, tilting your head back. Was this when the pain would come? You stirred a bit, but little nothing happened. The thing holding you sighed, gently pressing the sides of your cheek to open your jaw. What? What was happening? You hardly had time to panic before something warm was poured into your mouth, and his inhuman hand latched around your mouth to keep it shut.
You whimpered, eyes still closed—gods you really didn’t want to open them. You really couldn’t mentally confront what was happening. For now, it needed to stay invisible, it needed to not be real—as the liquid sat in your mouth. You refused to swallow, but it tasted like broth? Was it broth? You decided you didn’t care, not so long as you were being forced to drink—
That was, until its other hand came up and began to massage your throat. You sputtered, the rough finger pads gently rubbing against your throat forcing you to swallow after a moment.
It’s… nice. Warm but not hot, and definitely just some sort of broth now that you think about it. The next time the edge of a bowl is set against your lips, you drink of your own volition.
Whatever was caring for you seemed happy, as its rumbling chest, reminiscent of a cat's purr, seemed to indicate. Honestly, you were too, going slack against it, hiding your face in what you think is it’s neck, lined with a mane of fur, as it rubbed circles into your scars. The old aches of death soothing under its fingerpads.
Sleep came easy.
~
The next time you woke up, you weren’t so afraid to open your eyes.
Strangely calm, you didn’t even jump at the sight in front of you.
Probably seven feet tall, with thick, armored plates running up his body, a mix of purples, blues, blacks and reds coloring his body. His mask was a dull red, and an abyssal blue, almost jewel like eye was set in the center.
Foul legacy. Tartaglia’s abyssal form. This was Childe, no—
“Ajax?”
He practically melted, wrapping around you at the raspy croak of his own name.
You sighed, snuggling into the small fur mane around his neck.
“What are… what are you doing here?” Wasn’t he out of the country? You weren’t sure what point in the story you arrived during, but none of them had him in his homeland for long. “Isn’t being in that form for too long dangerous?”
He smiled. Well, ‘smile’ was a bad term. He curled back his lips and opened his plated maw, one you didn’t know he had. It was hidden among the red armor of his mask, which you were now convinced were just, ya know, his face when in foul legacy. His maw, black and almost a void inside, lined with row after row of sharp, shark-like teeth. He yawned, wide, before snapping his mouth shut with a little clack.
You couldn’t help the small giggle that bubbled up from your throat.
He seemed to like that, purring as he set his chin atop your head.
Your giggle faded away, and your face fell. You gave a soft sigh, body aching slightly. With a quiet voice, you could help but ask what’d been gnawing at you since you woke.
“Why… Why are you helping me?”
“Because the ones who hurt you are fools.”
That was not Ajax.
You turned your head, towards the entrance of the cave Ajax had holed the two of you up in.
When you saw who it was, you shied into the arms of Foul Legacy, who was happy enough to wrap his arms around you.
Capitano’s intimidating figure blocked the entrance of the cave, mask glinting in the fire light.
“I apologize for the late arrival, I was combing the west side of the valley for you. Tartaglia seemed to find you first.”
“I…” What?
Capitano stepped deeper into the cave, his steps were confident, but the closer he got, he lowered his head. It almost looked like a sign of respect.
A mere few strides away, he reached a hand out—to greet you? Touch you? You were sure, as before he could do anything, Ajax dragged you closer and responded to Capitano with a guttural growl.
“Quiet, eleventh.” Capitano commanded. Despite his unhappiness, Ajax obliged, letting Capitano closer.
A cold metal gauntlet approached your face slowly, before cupping your face. Gently, it tilted your jaw up, forcing you to meet the void of his mask.
You didn’t know that when the firelight hit your irises, they glittered with constellations, or that the veins barely visible against the white of your eyes were gold.
What you did see through, was the way his heavy shoulders dropped, and you heard a reverent sigh of relief. He dipped his head lower, and you swore crystal blue eyes blinked slowly down at you.
“Welcome to the waking world, dear Creator. Celestia has kept you asleep and unseeing for far too long.”
There was a private ask to write about a platonic yandere Zhongli with twin children, where the reader has a female perspective.
I hope you all like it and consider forgiving my long absence :)
It's almost 6k words! What a read!
—————————
The Tale of the Rocks, the Sun and the Moon
Having power means you also have enemies who desire it. An evil god set his sights on Rex Lapis' extension of power, and the Geo Lord weeps.
Warnings: Death and child death, blood, eating somebody alive. Beware that the start is pretty dark.
Tumblr media
It was strangely quiet. Morax was accustomed to having the wind blowing against his face, the earth trembling due to every step he gave, even having the skies raining down on him after a particularly difficult battle. He always took the latter as a form of repent, as if nature was trying to wash away his sins and bury them down in the ground.
But the skies were clear, and the only thing looking down on him was the blazing sun. The true storm raged inside his heart, his blood imitating the tears from the sky as he found himself unable to cry.
“We fear there are no survivors, my lord.”
If he acknowledged the words of his adeptus, he didn’t show it. His eyes were fixated on the desolate landscape before him, feeling the sorrow in his chest consuming him more and more each time he discerned a new body below the fire and destruction.
“What about—”
“We found the remains, should you wish to see her.”
“Show me.”
The adeptus nodded. She started walking away, carefully traversing a path previously cleared of death and debris. It didn’t take long before they were standing in front of a particular corpse; it had been laid carefully against the broken wall of what was left of a house, now burned down to the ground. There was another adeptus already there, fixing the body so it wouldn’t be such an horrific sight for anybody present.
Morax didn’t say a word. He stood still for a few seconds, simply watching the distressing scene before approaching and kneeling before the remains, reaching out to cup the cold cheek in his warm hand.
The two adepti remained silent while he mourned. They shared a look between them, and the woman left to help recover whatever bodies they could find.
“There’s only one of them here,” he said after a moment, looking at his surroundings looking for something. “Where are they?”
“That’s…”
It was obvious from the pair’s faces that they were debating internally on how to approach the topic.
“Back with the evil god that razed the village.”
A wounded adeptus approached the scene, using the broken wall to support his body and try to approach his master as much as he could.
“You fought here,” Morax noted, looking him up and down. “Tell me what happened. Now.”
“It was that evil god’s doing, my lord. It took us all by surprise, we had no time to react,” he answered. “He didn’t just burn this village; he knew this is where you concealed your children. They… he was after them.”
His heart felt heavy, his chest started to hurt. The reality of the situation was finally dawning down on him. He didn’t even realize that he had walked all the way to the adeptus, looking down on him with a dangerous look in his eyes.
“He… ate them. Oh, Celestia, we couldn’t do anything but watch as he swallowed them. That god wished to gather power to defeat you and steal your new place as the Lord of Geo. We— we couldn’t save—”
The boy finally broke down, letting his own body fall as wept at the memories of the early fight. Rex Lapis simply watched him, feeling the deep, boiling rage in his veins threatening to take over him. His hand ached, desperately urging him to summon his polearm and destroy anything that was still standing just to quell his anger.
His family, his children, his two beautiful treasures… He wasn’t able to protect them; it was his fault this happened, he didn’t foresee this attack, his adepti didn’t have enough power to win. Useless, useless, useless.
The ground started to tremble. Faint, almost unnoticeable. The men that were with him quickly became alerted, and the crying adeptus tried to compose himself as fast as he could.
“We have him sealed, still alive.”
The pair wanted to breathe a sigh of relief when the earth finally quieted down. Morax’s eyes returned once again to his subordinate, and he didn’t have to say anything to get his message across:
Take me to him.
.
“The great Rex Lapis, the new and almighty Lord of Geo, standing before me. To what do I owe such honor?”
Oh, how he wished he could smite that god out of existence. To make him swallow that smug smile by dismembering his body piece by piece and be witness to how his wretched soul dragged itself right into hell.
And it destroyed him knowing that he wasn’t able to do so.
“Silence, you fiend! You have no right to speak to our lord like that.”
The god only scoffed, amused by the situation.
“Did you come here to finish me off, Morax? To take revenge on me for killing your spawn?” He taunted. “Or perhaps, would you like for me to tell you how those two screamed and cried, desperately calling for their dear father to save them?”
The sound of a polearm hitting the rock wall filled the room. The small cut on the god’s cheek only let a drop of blood escape, before retracting and slowly closing itself. Just as if nothing had wounded him at all.
Morax’s heart sank even deeper at this. He knew where those powers came from, didn’t he? A fleeting memory came to him in an instant: a wound, two small children crying, and a woman consoling them. He slowly retreated his arm back to his side, not bothering to summon the weapon back. He didn’t have the strength to do it.
The creature laughed maniacally. It was elated to see the powerless figure of the Lord below him, feeling as if he had won before the fight even started. “You’re weak, dragon. Maybe these powers aren’t enough to slaughter you, but I have taken something from you. Something you will never be able to take back.”
.
“So? What happens next?”
“It’s obvious! Morax defeats the evil god and avenges his children, right?!”
The woman closed the book with a smile, finally looking up to see her children tucked in each one’s bed. “Well, what do you wish for it to happen next?”
“Rex Lapis kills the god! And, and- he finds out his children aren’t dead! And they all live happily ever after, fighting all the evil gods that come after them!”
She couldn’t help but laugh at her son’s words.
“You two have such a wild imagination sometimes.”
“But how does it really end?” Both the woman and the young boy turned to look at you, who had a hopeful look on your face. “Does it really have a happy ending?”
"Well, you'll have to wait until tomorrow to find out. Right now it's time to sleep." She put the book away before giving each kid a kiss on their forehead. "Have a good night, my treasures."
It only took a few seconds for her to turn of the light and close the door, disappearing into the hallway of the house. Both siblings remained in silence for a moment, before one of them shifted uncomfortably.
"Are you feeling okay, 妹妹?" Came the words of your brother, turning to face you. "Are you cold?"
"No, I just can't sleep. I'm thinking about that evil god… What if he breaks free? And attacks our village?! He'll hurt mom and dad!"
He got up from his bed, careful not to make any noise that could alert your parents, and slowly walked up to your bed, getting inside the sheets with you.
"It's just a story! That god probably doesn't even exist, and I doubt that Rex Lapis has had any children in the past." As expected of your older brother, such mature thoughts! He took great pride in the fact that he was able to comfort you.
"Really? So it's not real?"
He took your tiny hands between his. "Yeah! Plus, there's no one Rex Lapis can't defeat. He's our Geo Lord, after all."
You couldn't help but chuckle. Your brother was always right.
None of you said anything after that. The light of the moon illuminated the room through the window, barely letting you see each other's faces. It felt safe, knowing that your brother was there to guard you.
It was always safe.
.
"Here, try this sweetheart."
A red-colored drink was put in front of your face, hanging there barely a second before you grabbed it with both hands.
"It's strawberry, your favorite."
You smiled at your father, hugging him by the waist as a 'thank you'. He only chuckled and ruffled your hair, which in turn made you groan and quickly separate from him so he wouldn't mess it even more.
Your brother was busy clinging to your mother, who was in turn busy paying for the drinks your family had. The market was filled with all sort of people walking along, stopping by the various stands and buying all sort of things that you were sure no one would ever need. These were times of peace, your parents always reminded you two. As the war between gods finally came to an end, every creature was eager to go outside and celebrate, even if that celebration just meant going to the market and enjoy the afternoon with your family.
Without the ever-present danger of a stray attack of a divinity striking you for being in the wrong place at wrong time, it wasn't such a wonder everyone was feeling pretty happy.
"It's a statue of Morax!"
"What a marvelous piece of work!"
Your father had to grab your free hand when people started to pass by you in a rush, eager to reach the center of the street, just behind you both. Your eyes followed the multitude and lingered on, finding the statue they were fawning about. The sculptor was startled by the sudden noise of people gathering around her, momentarily separating her chisel from the stone before any irreparable damage could be done. She breathed a sigh of relief and brushed her forehead, failing to notice the bucket full of utensils at her side and inevitably pushing it down the stairs she was sitting on.
The metal resonated a few times before hitting the ground, spreading every instrument on the floor. The few onlookers that were close enough were quick to get out of the way, simply watching the artist groan in frustration at the thought of going down and retrieving all her stuff.
You were quick to leave your father's side, the sound of his voice calling out for you being drowned by the gasps and exclamations of surprise from the crowd around the square. You left your drink on the ground, opting to collect all the scattered items in your small hands. The woman shouted a big "thank you" from where she sat, waving her arm so you could notice her. You waved back, although you could barely move your right hand without letting every utensil fall from your arms. She used a rope to lower down a hook, stopping when it reached your waist so you could reach it without any inconvenience.
Just as you were just about to make haste to reach the rope, a metallic sound caught you attention. You looked back, finding a small hammer on the ground. It must've fallen from your hands. You looked at it for a couple of seconds, debating whether you should try to pick it up or just come back to retrieve it after sending back the bucket, with the possibility to have everything fall if you tried to grab it. Just as you were deciding to come back for it, a pair of black shoes stood next to the hammer, a gloved hand picket the small item up before handing it to you.
"I believe this is for the lady up there?" A deep, masculine voice asked. You looked up to find a pair of gold, glowing eyes.
"Thank you, mister!"
You did a small bow before quickly making your way to the statue of the Lord of Geo, using the rope and hook to hang the bucket with all the utensils inside. It wasn't long before the sculptor pulled the rope and retrieved her materials, waving once more just to show how grateful she was. This time you waved back accordingly, bidding farewell to the lady up there.
When you turned around to go back to your father, you only found strange faces walking along. Even looking all around the square proved to be in vain, as none of the men there looked remotely similar to him. Starting to feel nervous, you took a step forward and retracted almost immediately. There was a red puddle on the ground and an empty cup just a few centimeters away from it. This must've been your drink, you thought, and somebody must've kicked it accidentally from leaving it on the ground. Oh this was bad, your mom would surely scold you for being so careless! But, you had to find you dad first-
Your little eyes started scanning every inch of the plaza, feeling more and more anxious every time you failed to notice a familiar face.
It was then when you suddenly found one.
"Are you okay, little one?"
It was the man from before, you realized. He stood in front of you once more, slightly bending so you could see each other eye to eye. He must've seen you panicked and came to your rescue.
You noticed it the first time, but it really felt like the eyes of that man did glow. Such a nice golden color he had. It briefly reminded you of the landscape surrounding your village, the countless afternoons you spent with your brother playing around while the mountains watching over you from afar. It brought a feeling of peace along with it.
You wondered how long you were looking at them, for when you came back to yourself, he had his head tilted with amusement.
"I- I can't find my dad", you confessed, looking down in shame.
Oh, how he didn't like the loss of visual contact. A dangerous glint flashed before his eyes, quick enough to disappear just as you were raising your head again.
"I see," he said, smiling gently. "What does he look like? That way I can help you look for him."
It should be okay to tell him, right? Your mother always told you not to talk or go with strangers, but this one was trying to help you get back to your family's side. He had such gentle eyes, he surely couldn't be a bad guy.
The man nodded his head as you described your father's appearance. Though he maintained an amicable expression, you didn't fail to notice that his smile suddenly became strained. It was almost like he was feeling more disappointed as you rambled on.
"I say we look for him. He must be very close still." He extended his hand for you to take, and you didn't think twice. As you were just about to grab it, a voice calling your name made you stop. You turned to see the little figure of your brother calling your name and running straight to you, and the man closed his fist tightly.
"Where were you? Papa was worried when you left his side, mama scolded him a lot!" Your brother fussed, taking your hand in his as he started to make you follow him.
"Ah, wait!" The man at your side let his panic show for a moment, grabbing you both and making you stop in your tracks. He had his left hand on your shoulder, and his right one in your brother's arm, just above your linked hands.
The pair looked at him quizzically, but he refused to take his eyes off you both. You though they were glowing before, but now they were shining. They went back and forth between you two, and it was starting to get uncomfortable to be held by this stranger.
The hands grabbing you started to tremble.
The moment your sibling made up his mind to ask the man what did he want with you, the voice of your mother startled you. She came up running, your dad following her just behind. "I told you both to not get separated from us! Something could've happened!"
In an instant you both were set free. The man took a step backwards, as if he was suddenly shook awake from the trance he subconsciously put himself in. Looking back at him for barely a second you found him glaring intently at your mother. He seemed to assess her, looking up and down her appearance as if looking for something specific. Alas, he didn't find it, for his mood soured even more.
"Mister was going to help me find you, dad!" You exclaimed with excitement.
Your father turned to look at him, "Is that true? Well, thank you sir..."
"Mo- Zhongli. My name's Zhongli."
Neither of your parents realized that he was going to say another name. You and your brother looked at each other. At least he caught it too.
"Say goodbye to mister Zhongli children." Your mom ordered, patting your backs. "And remember to thank him."
You looked into his eyes once again and a chill ran through your whole body. His cold gaze was fixated into your mom's touch for barely a second before turning to you two. When he caught your gaze his mood changed so suddenly that it left you wandering if you imagined the previous hostility. He now smiled warmly and offered a shy wave of his hand. His expression was one of pure bliss at your acknowledgement of him.
"Goodbye mister Zhongli. Thank you." You shyly waved at him, hiding behind your mother due to the sudden weird feeling you were getting from him.
"Bye-bye. Thanks." Your brother imitated your action and ran to grab your father's hand.
The hand of your mother rested on your head, giving you a slight ruffle. You all started walking away from the market heading for home. Purely by curiosity both your brother and you looked behind you and had to quickly advert your eyes with a shiver running down your spines.
That man, Zhongli, was still looking at you two.
And the look he had was one of pure madness.
.
The curtain in the bedroom did nothing to stop the moonlight from barely illuminating the room. It was still pretty dark, the dim light only served to highlight the outline of the furniture, the walls and, most importantly, the two small figures resting in one bed.
The sight of the two kids hugging each other while sleeping made his heart ache with longing. It brought forth a deep sadness that was hurting his chest. He was staring right at them and he still couldn't believe he was seeing them.
Morax reached with his left hand and moved a wild strand of hair off your brother's face; all the while with the other he cupped your cheek and ran his thumb alongside with nothing but delicacy and love.
Oh, how he had missed them. His children.
It had to be fate, right? There was no other explanation for this.
He thanked Celestia time and time again, repeating it like a silent prayer. It must've been thanks to the kingdom in the sky that his children were allowed to reincarnate, albeit human but another life nonetheless. His mind wandered briefly to the memory of his long lost family, and especially to his late lover. How disappointed he was to find that neither your father nor your mother held her spirit. But it was okay, he told himself. There was still time. If his kids were given another chance at life then that meant he would see her again someday.
Until that happened he would make sure to properly protect you this time.
Your lazily opened your eyes. Even half asleep, you still had that uncomfortable feeling of being watched. You quickly scanned your room, finding nothing out of the ordinary and certainly no human, ghost or spirit watching you while you were sleeping. Your brother gave a soft groan and turned around, continuing his dream.
You must've imagined it then.
Your hand reached out to touch your cheek. For some reason it felt warm.
.
"Remember not to wander too far, okay kids?"
"Yes 妈!"
The two siblings ran along the busy street, chasing each other and laughing all the while. A group of kids passed by playing among themselves too. Your brother took notice of them and immediately approached what seemed to be the leader, asking for you both to join their game of tag. None of the children had any problem with it, they even seemed happy to have a few more people to play with. Giving a hand gesture to your parents indicating that you would be with them, the both of you started to follow the other kids.
A couple of hours passed. In the middle of the fun the game changed a few times, ultimately deciding to play a few rounds of hide and seek before having to return to their homes. It was your turn to hide. You took your brother's hand and made him follow you, going inside an alleyway to sit behind a few wooden crates. You giggled at each other, thinking that this was the perfect hiding spot. You were sure the girl counting wouldn't be able to find you-
"Found you!" A voice above startled you both.
Your brother stood up with a jump. You turned around, confused as to why it wasn't that girl's voice what you heard.
Gold filled your vision.
You were staring again at the gleaming eyes of the same man that helped you yesterday.
"It's... you again." You muttered. He brightened up at the thought of you recognizing him.
"Go away! We're playing hide and seek! You're going to give away our hiding spot!"
Even though your brother rudely tried to shoo him he remained in his place, a gentle smile resting on his face.
"Are you playing, then? Can I join?
Your brother and you stared at each other.
"We'd have to ask the others... I don't think adults are allowed to join."
He seemed to ponder over this.
"Don't mind the other kids. Let's play just the three of us."
Even though your brother was about to refuse something made him stop right in his tracks. You followed his line of vision and found yourself entranced by the dim glow of Zhongli's eyes. Suddenly they felt very familiar. It was exactly like those times that by cleaning your room you ended up finding a toy you really treasured but didn't know you had lost at one point. A sense of longing and love, the sensation of reuniting with something you believed was lost to time.
Overwhelmed by this strange feeling, you ended up giving in to his demand. "I... I- Sure..."
It was clear that at your side your brother was feeling the same way, for he didn't refuse a second time.
Two gloved hands extended in front of you. You hesitated momentarily, thinking that this wasn't a really good idea. The sudden memory of the first meeting with Zhongli flashed through your mind.
"I think that-"
"Yeah, let's go."
Your brother was quick to take one of the hands, letting the man pull him closer to him like your father would do.
They both turned to look at you. "Are you coming, 妹妹?"
If your brother thought that it was fine then it should be, right? You nodded slowly and decided to also take Zhongli's hand.
.
"兒子! 女儿! Where are you?"
Zhongli stopped walking. The distressed voice of your mortal mother managed to miraculously sour his whole mood. He was having such a good time with his children, how dare that woman interrupt him!
Your sleeping figure in his arms started to wake up at the familiar sound sound of her shouting. You looked above his shoulder, waking up even more once you recognized her figure wandering along the street. "妈!" You called for her.
Your brother, who was walking alongside Zhongli and being guided by his hand, also turned to look at her. He rubbed the sleepiness off his eyes and waved to get her attention.
"Kids! There you are!"
It took all of Morax's willpower not to turn and smite her right there and then. He wanted nothing more than to take his children away, hide them where no one could find them ever again. It was bad luck that he was found by that woman as he was planning to leave the city; Morax believed that he wasn't such a violent god, now that the war was over. His displays of power were limited to deities and other mystical beings, never a human was a victim to his wrath. It would reflect badly on him if he decided to eliminate this human in front of his children. It could frighten them, make them scared of his power.
The last thing he wanted was the two of you fearing him.
"Thank you for looking after them!" She exclaimed, running up to him and taking you from his arms onto hers. Rage flashed through his eyes. He stilled his right hand that ached for the blood of the person that dares take his kid from him. Be calm, he told himself. He needed to be calm.
"It was no problem, madam." He forced a smile at her. "It was getting late and I found them wandering again, I just wanted to make sure nothing bad happened to them until we found you."
She seemed to believe that he was helping you again just like yesterday. This would do. The boy let go of his hand and ran up to his mother, hugging her from the waist. His fist clenched tightly.
"We played all day, mom!" Your brother said with enthusiasm.
She gave a soft laugh. "Is that why you two are falling asleep standing?"
Morax faked a laugh. She turned to him.
"I have no words of gratitude. I was getting really worried when I saw that they weren't coming home once their curfew arrived!"
Such an irresponsible mother. If it were him he wouldn't take his eyes off his kids. He would make sure to stay besides them all day, forever...
"It's my pleasure to help." He gave a small bow. "They're lovely kids."
"Why, thank you!" She smiled brightly at his kind words. Your brother tugged her cheongsam to get her attention. She immediately got the massage and bowed to Morax. "It was a pleasure, mister Zhongli. Thank you again for your help."
She turned around and started walking heading for her home. Morax didn't bother to responder her goodbye. He only looked at her fading figure, one child in her arms and the other walking besides her.
It was okay.
He has waited all this time for them. He could wait a little more before bringing his children home.
.
A week had passed since then.
Your parents made sure to keep you both close to them or at least, somewhere they could keep an eye on you. During all this time you didn't encounter Zhongli, at least not directly. There were moments where you would spot his golden eyes in the middle of the crowd, or see his figure leaning against the wall, completely in silence with his gaze fixed on your brother or yourself. It would be for merely a few seconds; as soon as your mother or father got close to you he would disappear.
Those strange sightings plus the uncomfortable sensation of being watched all the time were starting to make you pretty nervous. It didn't feel like you two were actually in danger, but the hazard was still there nonetheless. It made you anxious not know where the danger actually was.
You eventually stopped going outside to play, preferring to stay and home with the company of your parents. They didn't complain, of course not, but you knew they were worried by the sudden change of attitude. Could have something happened?
Clouds covered the entire sky. It wasn't raining yet, but it was obvious that it would rain pretty soon.
You looked at the sky trough your bedroom's window, letting out a sigh.
"Feeling sad, 妹妹?" Your brother asked from the door before approaching you and standing at your side.
"Well, we weren't planning on going outside and play anyways. Maybe we could just read something?"
"We've been reading all week! Let's do some other thing. What about drawing?"
You pondered over that.
"Sure! Let's grab some paper from dad's study and-"
Your next words died in your throat. The ground started to shake violently, making your whole house vibrate with it. Stuff started to fall all around you, and parts of the ceiling crumbled before crashing to the floor.
"It's an earthquake!" You shouted, hugging your brother instantly.
"We have to get out!"
Nodding at his words, you quickly ran out of the bedroom. You clashed with your father while crossing the door, undoubtedly he was rushing in to help you. He grabbed you both from your arms and ran out of the house, your mother following just behind you.
Outside it was pure chaos. Not only buildings were crumbling on themselves, there were two dragons fighting as high as the clouds were. The adepti tried to guide the crowd as well as they could, signaling where to evacuate to escape from all the destruction.
You tried to hold onto your father's hand, but the swarm of panicked people didn't stop crashing against you, eventually weakening his hold and forcing him to release you with a horrified gasp. You both heard him call your names and try to reach you but the people didn't stop pushing you away from him.
You two just hoped you would be able to escape to reunite with your parents once you were safe.
.
Oh, how good it felt to quell his thirst of blood.
He looked at the inert body of the other god, watching as the blood flowed from where his polearm was thrusted in his back. This wouldn't kill him, no, but how good it still felt to try.
He briefly looked up to the mountains, glazing over the enormous hole the tallest had. He always knew that that evil god would break free from his seal, that all this time feigning sleep were only for the sole purpose of gaining his strength back.
But Morax had an advantage. The god had power that didn't belong to him, thus every time he tried to use it he would become unstable, open to attacks. It was a hard battle that's true, but it didn't matter to the Geo Lord. He would take him down as many times as it was needed.
He would protect his children this time. This and all the upcoming ones.
With one look around, all his adepti started working right away. A group of them focused on restraining the fallen god before he awakened, while the other, the physically stronger, helped the humans trapped below the rubble and destruction that was left behind.
Morax turned on his heels and started walking away. None of the presents said anything to him. Their master was emanating an ominous aura, a warning for them to stay away from him and just focus on their task ahead.
The streets that were once full of life now served as a cemetery for all the corpses laying everywhere. A few of them were barely clinging onto life, crying out due to their wounds or the fallen debris that imprisoned them against the floor.
But Morax didn't have time to waste with them. He closed his eyes and focused on breathing. If he concentrated enough, the earth beneath him would answer his demands. He felt each pulsation like a beating heart; the earth was always carrying life, and if he tuned with it he could feel any being connected to it. Be it plants, animals or humans.
Two particular beats made his body tingle and suddenly Morax could breathe again. They were alive. They were safe. He protected them this time.
As soon as he mentally followed their life force located away from the city he was ready to go to them, but the sudden tug of the fabric of his torn hanfu made him look down.
A delicate hand was trying to get his attention; the woman trapped below a cart was weakly tugging his clothes, and he couldn't help but smile with nothing but insanity.
That was your mother right there, bleeding profusely from the head. The body of her husband laid barely a meter away from her. He didn't need to check his pulse or try to hear his breathing to know that that man was already dead.
This couldn't be better.
"Mis... Zhong... help..." She only managed to say, her voice barely louder than a whisper.
He crouched in front of her, tilting his head as he assessed her wound.
"Poor thing. You would surely die if left alone in such condition."
His smile surely didn't convey the fake empathy from his words. A chill went down from the woman's spine, who just by looking at his eyes immediately knew that she wouldn't be getting out of there alive.
"You... them..."
"Ah, yes, them." He shrugged nonchalantly. "You don't have to worry about them. You can go in peace knowing that my children will be in safe hands, right where they belong."
He stood up as she started to trash around to try to break free. He only walked a few steps before a thud behind him made him look for a second. Her wound finally caught up to her and fell unconscious. How happy he was; he didn't even have to get his hands dirty to get rid of the false parents of his children. They were just... sad casualties of war.
He walked on.
.
A faraway temple was serving as a refuge for all the people running away from the city.
Alongside your brother, the two of you remained in a secluded group with all the other lost children, one of the locals comforting you and assuring all the kids that they were doing everything in their power to find their relatives. Your brother gripped your hand tightly, and you rested your head against his shoulder, numbly watching ahead for any sign of your mother or father.
You were expecting the gentle smile of your mom or the soft eyes of your father, but what instead stood before you two was gold.
Morax saluted the woman in charge of the group, and from where you were sitting you couldn't exactly hear what they were saying. She let out a relieved sigh and let him enter, following him with her gaze as he approached you two. He crouched to look at you in the eyes and extended his hand.
"Let's go home, my dears."
You both hesitated. It should be okay, you thought shyly. Mister Zhongli wouldn't do anything to hurt neither of you.
You looked at each other before accepting the hand that was offered. Morax let a small laugh. He helped you stand up before giving a nod to the woman as a thanks, exiting the temple shortly after.
With each step you moved farther and farther away from your village. You glanced at it as it smaller and smaller, feeling like this would be the last time you would look at your home.
Little Archon
Platonic! Yandere! Neuvillette x GN! Child! Furina! Reader
Tumblr media
Description: Archons will do anything to protect their nations, including putting a burden in a child.
Warning: OOC. English is my second language. Platonic Yandere. Focalor's actions can be seen as questionable. Reader need a hug. Spoilers for Fontaine Archon Quest. Neuvillette isn't happy with Focalor and The Knave.
_________
Her powers flow through Focalor's body. Hydro Archon looked at the distance, trying not to think too much about the current situation.
Separating divinity from body and spirit take a lot of time. And Focalor was left one on one with her thoughts during the separation.
Bit by bit, she separated everything, that even has a drop of divinity, from her body and soul. Her greatest creation. So perfectly human.
The process was almost over. Focalor's could already see the outlines of the new "Hydro Archon". She only needed to separate the last bits of divinity.
And then her mind started to wander. Plan was risqué. If it fails, Fontaine will be doomed.
Another thought strike her, like a lightning. What if hydro dragon won't get enough powers from her divinity? Focalor's gaze feel on Oratrice Mecanique d'Analyse Cardinale, that now contained almost all of her divinity. Then her body fell on what essentially were her body and soul. The figure was the same height to Focalor.
Hydro Archon carefully reached with her powers to "Hydro Archon". Divinity was a tricky thing. It was everywhere in Archon's body. Perhaps, she should separate some more bits of her. That didn't have pure divinity, but have echoes of it?
Bit. After bit. After bit.
More powers were stored in Oratrice Mecanique d'Analyse Cardinale. Focalor's nodded slowly. It would be enough. Now she only needed to wake the new "Hydro Archon".
Focalor looked at them.
They became smaller. Much younger.
Child. "Hydro Archon" became a child.
Focalor's chewed her lips. She could reverse separation and try again. And make sure, that this time her double will be older.
Her gaze fall on Oratrice Mecanique d'Analyse Cardinale again. All her powers were there. The chance for Fontaine's salvation.
On one hand, the bigger chance for salvation of her nation.
On the other hand, child, that won't be forced to live centuries under curse, with no chance of normal life.
Ever since she became an Archon, Focalor's wasn't seen by her people. They won't question, why new archon are so young.
Oceanids left Fontaine. They won't reveal, that Archon aren't her.
The child will contain most of her memories. They won't act according to their age. Their behavior won't be questioned.
Maybe, hydro dragon would find kid adorable. And it will help in her plan's succeed.
Fontaine. Or a child.
With tears in her eyes, Focalor finished the separation. Remains of her divinity flew into Oratrice Mecanique d'Analyse Cardinale. Before fading, she whispered.
"I am sorry, [Y/N]. I hope, that one day, you could forgive me."
_________
Sometimes, you saw a woman in your dreams. She had tears in her eyes. She would apologize to you over and over again.
At first, you thought, that she was your mother. Your mother, that entrust Very Important Mission on you.
You quickly realized, that she wasn't your mom.
You were just a shred of true Hydro Archon. And she had a Very Important Mission for you.
You are a kid and you have a mission
You are a kid and you don't have a mom.
______
Neuvillette hasn't seen Hydro Archon before. He heard about them.
Loud, boisterous, attention seeker (with term 'spoiled brat' whispered in the dark alleys).
Today, he would see them for the first time.
When he was called in the room, where Hydro Usurper would meet with him, Neuvillette braced himself, before entering.
At first, he thought, that room was empty. He couldn't see Hydro Archon anywhere. Then his gaze fall on the child, that were sitting on the couch before a small table, full of treats. He could feel it. Child have traces of divinity.
'That child are Hydro Archon?'
Meanwhile, child struck a little pose.
"Are you speechless, Monsieur Neuvillette? I can't blame you. You are in the presence of The brightest Star of Fontaine!"
Neuvillette's eyes widen.
'Why Hydro Usurper were so young?'
Meanwhile, child waved their hand.
"I know, that you would gladly spend hours admiring me, but, you will have enough time for that! Should we discuss your new job as Chief Justice, Monsieur Neuvillette?"
Neuvillette slowly nodded.
"We should..."
________
Your room in Palais Mermonia was a dream come true for any children. Tons of toys, children books, big bad you can jump on. You need something else? You could always ask for it, and it will be delivered to your doorstep.
Everyone loves the Biggest Celebrity of Fontaine. Child Archon deserve only best things.
Among all of your toys, you only loved three.
Three plush animals.
During the first hundred years of your performance, you played pirates, adventures and theater with them.
During the second century of your performance, you played school with them.
During the third century of your performance, you played explorers with them.
During the fourth century of your performance, you read books to them.
During the fifth century of your performance, you cried yourself to sleep, while hugging your favorite three toys.
__________
Neuvillette was in his office. He had some time to take a quick break.
He was holding his glass, full of water from The Fountain of Lucine. Some melusines decided to bring his a bottle of Fountain's water. Surprisingly, they also saw Hydro Archon with their hands in the Fountain. They quickly left, when they saw melusines near.
Neuvillette was thinking.
By all means, Neuvillette shouldn't like Hydro Archon.
[Y/N] have his elemental authority.
[Y/N] were loud, boisterous and snotty.
[Y/N], while not being The First, still were one of the Seven Usurper.
But Neuvillette can't bring himself to hate the kid, or be angry at them.
They were just a kid. There were no reason to waste his anger on them. Neuvillette won't be surprised, if Hydro Archon won't fight, if Neuvillette decides to challenge them for hydro authority.
Neuvillette took the first sip.
He was flooded with emotions.
Emotions of a very lonely and sad child. Neuvillette froze. It never happened before. [Y/N]... Were it you? Were it your emotions?
Neuvillette drank the rest of the glass.
Then the remaining water from the bottle.
He returned to his work. But young hydro archon were still on his mind.
__________
You were attending an opera performance in Opera Epiclese. Neuvillette refused the invitation, pretending, that he had some important work to do.
It was the truth. But, his work wasn't connected to the court.
Neuvillette closed the door in your room behind him. Neuvillette wasn't supposed to be here, in your room. But he wanted to see, with his own eyes, how you lived. And why you were so sad.
The room was big, full of everything, that a child could ever want or need.
Yet, everything looked too new. Too clean. Like you weren't using anything in your room.
Except for three well-worn plush toys (Ball Octopus, Bubbly Seahorse and Armored Crab) on your bed. The traces of countless repairs clearly visible on the stuffed animals.
Neuvillette looked at your bookshelves. There was a common theme in all of your books. In them, at the end, main characters will get a family. A loving parents or older siblings.
'Lonely Archon. Lonely child...'
Dragons looked after their young. In some cases, they looked after each other dragonets.
Hydro Dragon has never looked after young dragonets. But, he also hasn't lived among humans.
Neuvillette has lived among humans for five hundred years now.
Maybe, it was time to took in a child.
___________
The cat you met on the street was fluffy and playful. You can't help, but smile. Animals were good. Animals were great.
But, you can't focus entirely on the cat. One thought was bothering you.
Something strange was happening with Neuvillette. It looked like, he was looking after you? He sent warm meals to you through melusines, ordered guards to bring more blankets to your room, shut down annoying reporters... He even put a scarf around your neck that day, when temperature in Opera Epiclese were colder, than usual.
If you were honest, he always scared you a little. You don't want to think, what he will do with you, when your performance will be over. He looked distant and hard to approach.
So why he was so worried about you? Your loud attitude didn't change, so, why Neuvillette suddenly decided to take care of you?
The cat's loud meow interrupted your thoughts. It hissed and dashed away from you. You reach your hand towards it.
"Wait! Can we play some more?!"
Then a shadow fall on you.
__________
You were crying on the throne.
The last few days were a nightmare. The Knave. The Trial.
And now Fontaine was sinking in waters of the Primordial Sea.
Did you fail?
You felt, that you did.
Your performance was for nothing.
Your pain was for nothing.
You were nothing, but a failure.
__________
Neuvillette was looking at Focalor. True Hydro Archon. The first reason for his kid's pain.
Neuvillette listened to her explanation of her plan. When she finished, he spoke. His lips barely moved.
"You made them cry."
Focalor hide her gaze. She looked guilty.
"I know. And I am sorry for that. I wanted to save Fontaine. If there was another way..."
Sharp talons pierced Focalor's shoulders. Neuvillette growled, showing his sharp fangs.
"You made my kid suffer, Focalor! Knew, that today you aren't being judged for your predecessor's sins. Today, you are being judged for your own sins. For every single one of [Y/N]'s tears."
Neuvillette shoved her away. He was watching her, like a hawk.
"So, god of false justice, you herself gave the verdict. Execution. And don't make me wait. I have a child to look after."
_______
Fontaine was saved. Your performance was a success.
You stand before The Fountain of Lucine.
You were alone. You felt lost.
What should you do now? Where should you go?
Suddenly, you were picked up. Iudex of Fontaine was cradling you. He had a smile, you never saw on his face before.
"There you are, small dragonet! I am so glad, you didn't get lost. Let's go, your new home is waiting. I will take a good care of you, I promise! I will teach you about using Hydro powers, you will have everything you need, you will never cry again."
He started walking, while still carrying you. You closed and opened your mouth.
"What...? But... I am not... No Vision"
Neuvillette hummed. Something heavy landed in your stomach.
A hydro vision with four dragon fangs.
"Oh, don't worry, [Y/N]. Everything will be fine from now on. You will never see people, that want to hurt you. Now you can enjoy your life to the fullest."
You felt, that something drastic will happen in Fontaine.
________
If Neuvillette could cause harm with his gaze, The Knave would be a pile of bare bones on the ground. How she dared to show her face before him, after what she did to his child.
Neuvillette's tone of voice didn't betray him.
"So, you want to have Hydro Ghosis?"
Fatui Harbinger nodded. Her voice was calm.
"Yes. It seems, there is no need for Fontaine to keep it anymore."
Neuvillette pretend to think about it.
"I have a better proposition. You see, I don't need that thing. But... You scared and almost killed my kid. So, don't wait for any sighs of goodwill from me, aside our current deal. Listen closely. Conditions are: in forty-eight hours, all Fatui will leave Fontaine and will never return. If you refuse, I will force them to leave on their own feet. And then I will flood Snezhnaya."
Hydro Dragon met The Knave's gaze. Fatui Harbinger stepped back. Iudex of Fontaine wasn't joking. The Knave felt the earth trembling under her feet. Waters of Fontaine were rising.
"I will ensure, that my kid are happy. Doesn't matter, if I need to flood all Teyvat. Their happiness is the only thing, that matters."
______
Focalor's was right in her own way.
Child double did help Hydro Dragon to save Fontaine.
The nation was safe.
For a price of Teyvat being reshaped for keeping Child double happy.
Happy birthday baby
I'm trying something new for my birthday post :), I wrote a small piece that I thought would fit multiple characters Warning: kidnapped reader, no use of pronouns
Tumblr media
Your first birthday with your captors was rather strange, truly. They had kidnapped you just the week before, and you were waiting for torture and dead.
Of course, why wouldn't you expect such a thing? It isn't as if your captors just kidnapped you because they were trying to save you, no. Because you had already saved yourself, they just couldn't bear seeing you thrive without them.
"Happy birthday~!" They had sang to you. You were terrified when you noticed them approaching, you were shaking as you saw the cake they were carrying. You didn't trust them to not poison the cake in front of you, or they might have drugged it to keep you compliant.
"Come, blow out your candles." They whispered in your ears. "If you're good you might get some time out of your chains."
You felt like crying after all, this isn't how you expected your (..)th birthday to go.
You were supposed to move out of your parents home, you were supposed to start your 'young adult' life away from the people who were harming you.
But here you are stuck playing family with some psycho.
At least they got you your favorite cake.
