In celebration of completing Flutter's mastery quests, I redesigned her and gave her some headcanons :)

The redesign was mostly a palette change one, because apart from that I didn't think she needed that many changes.

By the way, I don't see Flutters at all in lobbies. Why is that? She's fun to play as!

🌈👁️ Happy Artists Facts of the Day 🌤️💙

🎨 Here are some facts about the Happy Artists one may not know! 🖍️

Crafty was first designed to be a much older sheep and was going to be known as the one who knits.

Artsy tends to stutter every time she speaks. And would sometimes trail off her words.

While Artsy, Theo and Arlie may be right-handed, Ludwig is left handed, and Crafty is ambidextrous.

Theo is inspired by Asgore from Undertale and Braveheart Lion from the Care bears.

Artsy is inspired by Barnaby from Welcome Home, and L-sa Fr-nk's dalmatians.

Ludwig is inspired by Geoffrey the Giraffe (Toys 'R' us Mascot)

Arlie is the only one with a blue tounge, while Ludwig has a magenta tounge. The rest have pink tounges!

Theo gets stuck with crossword puzzles easily, and always needs Ludwig's help with them.

💢 ANGER - what are some habits they have that will take some getting used to?

Buckle in.. Smoking and biting his hands.. Smoking is something hes been doing before he died.. its a habit hes been *attempting* to stop. But its a lot trickier and his anxiety has really been making it harder.. which has lead him to bite at his hands.. not in the way you think? Simply biting at his hands- hes had multiple times where hes broken skin but.. that was when he was younger aha.. He only ends up nibbling his knuckles. He paints his nails so he can avoid taking a chomp out of em

💤 SLEEPING - do they fall asleep easily? what helps them sleep?

Not really! Believe it or not! This guy usually ends up in bed unable to rest. Kinda laying there.. What helps is when hes warm and holding onto something. He usually has a few extra blankets... er.. maybe like five or six on his bed.. and holding a pillow. He finds it comforting. Sometimes Nikoli ends up on his bed.. but most of the time Tiger Mom lays next to him making it easier for him to get some warmth.. before she slinks back off to rest after she knows hes asleep. Wicata has made him some candles that seem to help him out- he cant really put down the smell but he likes it

🍰 CAKE SLICE - favourite cake flavour? are they specific about types of cakes?

Ube! He really likes Ube roll cakes! He doesnt eat a lot of sweets.. most of the time theyre too much for him but.. hey. If you offer him some Ube cake he'll eat it. Theres not much specifics.. as long as the frosting isnt too sweet.. he prefers buttercream over any other kind of fillings..

🍃 FALLING LEAF - do they enjoy being in nature? what is their favourite outdoor activity?

Living on the country side.. not too far off from the deep forests of Alternia.. I sure hope he would! He enjoys the slow paced kinda feeling. Taking care of the flowers and the little garden that hes got in the back.. He particuarly LOVES hikes... but uh.. he doesnt particuarly do it safely.. but its how him and nishii used to go about.. Hes pretty crafty and quick on his feet! Able to get up high without hurting himself..

🌱 SEEDLING - what is their most vivid memory from childhood?

..Shoving a trout down Ketana's pants. He remembered them going fishing.. and the fish were a little too friendly. Coming too close.. so Nakaou had thought it would be funny to prank his friend.. the yelp Ketana gave out was hilarious! Though. Nakaou had went home drenched in water.. ehe.. Worth it to him

🏊 SWIMMING - can they swim? or are they afraid of water? how well do they swim? how do they feel about swimming in the ocean?

Yep! Nakaou can swim. He doesnt like how cold water is most of the time.. hes already running pretty cold.. but hey. He likes it! Its fun to be able to take a dip and kinda exercise! Nakaou is a pretty decent swimmer.. he cant compete with any professionals or even a sea dweller but for a landweller hes decent! As for the ocean. Hed prefer not to go out too far.. uh.. most likely not gonna return? Theres some stuff deep down man!

✂️ SCISSORS - what is the "last straw" for them to cut someone out of their life? how easily do they let go of people?

Nakaou is actually someone who tries not to do that.. he prefers to leave things how they are.. but. The moment people start threatening people close to him or god forbid you try and kill him? He's kicking your ass to the curb and not in a fun way.

��️ PENCIL - is there a particular quote / lyric that you associate with them?

"This is a holiday and you've been resurrected Rise from the grave when everyone least expects it We are the ones that thrive off being rejected Hide under bones and never learning our lesson" - I think theres a lot blatently said here LOL but.. I dunno.. Holiday.. kinda marking the turning point for a lot of things in my lil timeline.. ehe.. Grave.. he does come back unexpected.. with no one expecting it considering how long he had been considered dead. And the last two? BITCHHH.. Nakaou is basically a sucker for punishment with how he ends up getting hurt like that..

🖍️ CRAYON - what advice would you give to them?

With the deepest bags under my eyes.. he needs to start opening up. Not retreating and pretending everything is fine. People want to help you. They care about you. But closing yourself off isnt helping. Its not easy. but.. maybe try? PleasE?

❤️ RED HEART - their love language(s)?

Acts of Service and Physical touch! Nakaou loves just. being able to take a burden off someone, take care of some stuff they have been putting off.. or make them a meal... laundry.. cleaning.. hey! He likes that stuff so its a win for him! Being touchy feely is a bit of a given. He enjoys cuddling.. hugging.. hand holding. kissing.. eheh.. he likes all that. Even if theyre just sitting next to eachother- legs touching. He's content!

First of all I'm very delighted to talk about Moriko again bc i don't think i've talked about her in 500 years but also getting "Moriko with 👖 JEANS…" in my notifications has made me laugh for no reason. Moriko with JEANS!!!

👖 JEANS - what is their go-to outfit?

I do plan to redesign her main outfit a bit, but her signature TANUKI HOODIE that she MADE HERSELF will always be part of her wardrobe. It's a very important part of her outfit, as it shows both her silly little obsession with tanukis and her craftiness (she made it herself and will point out all the time). But regardless of the outfit she'll wear, light green and ecru are her image colors. She mostly wears casual dresses or As the Tanuki Magical girl, I like to describe her magimon outfit as "a mix between a ninja, a sailor senshi and a tanuki". Though I will underline that it isn't actually her magimon outfit she made herself. It is a modified cosplay of a niche manga character: a tanuki magical girl. Yes. She's a big fan of a manga that has only 1 volume in Japan and that is virtually unknown to everyone. As for her disguises, while she's good for a rookie with her tanuki transformation powers, she will ALWAYS be busted by the fact that her original disguises outfits have a light green and ecru palette.

🖍️ CRAYON - what advice would you give to them?

I would tell her that the MagiMonster world and the Human/Monster worlds issues are far more complex than she imagines and that she must not reduct her duty to a simple "good vs evil" mindset. And also that negative emotions are not always bad and even necessary, but that she must not either reject them or get consumed by them. And also that she needs to cosplay Mamizou it would be funny.

☄️ COMET - what do people assume about them? are they right?

Upon entering Team 4, her teammates all assume that, since it is literally her first time as a MagiMonster, she is a naive and clumsy girl and that since she's a big magical girl fan, she will not take her duty seriously. While there is some truth to that (Moriko tends to assume things about MagiMons and she IS a rookie who makes first-time mistakes), Moriko is actually a fast learner and has an excellent, quasi-natural grasp on her abilities. Outside of Team 4, everyone assume Moriko lacks any mischief. They will find out that she has a certain sense of humor and that she adores pranking people. Especially with her powers. Especially to those who know about her powers. And ESPECIALLY to her enemies. Eugene assumes that Moriko is part of the illuminati and the FBI. Moriko doesn't want to disclose whether he's right or not.

Redesign + Headcanons of the best boy in this game

The xenogenders are: Pupgender, Abackroomlector, Kidcoric and Stuffeddoggender

I admit the Abackroomlector here is purely a bit self-indulgent, mainly because the Backrooms' liminal vibe is one of my favourite aesthetics, but also because some rooms in Dandy's World really give off that liminality. Mostly the Rainbow Rooms floor type, but you get the idea.

As for facts about them: Arlie tends to get on Ludwig's nerves from time to time with their mischievous & playful behavior, either by themselves or alongside Crafty! But at the end of the day, every single Happy Critter love each other very much. 🩵

Outside from that: Arlie loves it when one brushes their tail, and Ludwig is a lover of Mac & cheese of any kind!
