You had gone to sleep one night only to wake up in a strange new place... Okay, maybe strange wasn't the word. The room you woke up in actually looked extremely fancy. It looked like it was fit for a king/queen!

Confused, you left the bedroom and found yourself... actually in a legitimate royal palace. Odd... And there were... voices!

Of course, you immediately ran to meet these voices! You had to know what was going on here! But when you got there, you found yourself in the center of a courtyard under a surprisingly beautiful sky. It's nice out today!

🔍 Kyoko Kirigiri x Reader Headcanons 🔎

No warnings

Sfw, fluff

If you fell first it didn't take long for her to find out or for her to tell you she knows.

If she fell first then it wouldn't only take her a while to figure it out but also work up the courage to tell you.

- She'd overthink everything you say or do around her (were you flirting or are her feelings towards you messing with her?)

In the killing game she'd do her best to ignore her feelings as to not hurt you or herself, outside of it she'd avoid you like the plague.

-Conversations would be short and she'd rush to get away from you.

- She'd avoid eye contact with you (something that she doesn't normally do)

- She'd try and change the subject as soon as you came into the conversation if you ever did. (She wouldn't be able to help herself from asking about you though.)

When you actually start dating it's hard to get her to open up. She's nervous around you in a way she's never been before, she'd hate to admit it but she's afraid of you rejecting her or thinking about leaving her.

She's probably a little too blunt with certain things and absolutely dense when it comes to flirting (asking her a flirtatious question in hopes her playing along and she answers it like it was completely serious).

She's not the type to show you off and shove her relationship in people's faces but it wouldn't take long for people (Makoto and Byakuya) to realise she brings you up pretty often and that she seems pretty happy when she's taking about you or when you're around.

She's a pretty good gift giver, she always knows exactly what you need. She's not one for big romantic gestures but she'll get you a box of chocolates and bouquet on valentine's.

Not really into pda but if you really want she'll hold your hand while you're walking down the street or she'll let you put your head on her shoulder while you're sat somewhere. Kyoko's not exactly one for affection in general, she's not unloving or anything but she prefers quick pecks on the lips or just standing/sitting close to you rather than make outs or clinging to you and cuddling all the time.

She enjoys working or reading while you're in the room with her, she's perfectly happy with a comfortable silence. You're nearby but she can also focus on her work at the same time.

Sinister System terminology, differences in fronting vs shifts

Some people seemed interested in our internal experience, so I've written up a little bit of a guide to help it make sense.

system member: a distinct person/soul who is one of many sharing this body.

kintype: the identity of a soul during a particular lifetime experience.

kin source: the media in which a kin life/kintype is reflected.

kin shift: a particular system member experiencing a greater psychological, emotional, and/or spiritual state where they are embodying a particular kintype in the present moment. A sort of psychological/emotional/spiritual regression to or manifestation of a specific kintype's traits and experiences.

collective shift: when several different system members are experiencing a kin shift to their various personal identities during the same source lifetime.

fronting/taking the front/switching: A particular system member takes control of the body. A fronting member experiences the direct sensory input from the body, has a distinct internal monologue which is 'louder' than the internal thoughts of members who are not fronting, has primary control over the actions and reactions of the body.

Sinister system:

Has roughly 25 distinct system members

Each system member has around 19 kintypes in addition to their overall personal singular identity.

A system member may be experiencing a particular kin shift at any given time. Often multiple system members are in a collective shift.

Let's walk through some abbreviated examples.

Some sinister system members are

🔍⚔️ (Kirigiri)

Each of these system members shares the same kin sources. They experienced several lifetimes in which they were born and interacted with separate identities in the same world.

Some of their kin sources are: Homestuck, Danganronpa, Resident Evil, and Great Ace Attorney.

That means that each distinct system member has a kintype that aligns with each source.

😼🔪 Jas' kintypes are: Vriska Serket (Homestuck), Toko Fukawa (Danganronpa), Karl Heisenberg (Resident Evil) and Yuujin Mikotoba (Great Ace Attorney)

🌀😎 (Akechi)'s kintypes are: Cronus Ampora (Homestuck), Nagito Komaeda (Danganronpa), Albert Wesker (Resident Evil), and Kazuma Asogi (Great Ace Attorney)

🔍⚔️ (Kirigiri)'s kintypes are: Dave Strider (Homestuck), Kyoko Kirigiri (Danganronpa), Tyler Howard (Resident Evil), and Barok Van Zieks (Great Ace Attorney).

When 🔍⚔️ (Kirigiri) is fronting, that means that 🔍⚔️ is the person primarily processing data from the body's senses, making decisions, acting using the body, and experiencing a loud inner monologue.

When 🔍⚔️ (Kirigiri) is fronting, 🔍⚔️ is still Dave Strider, Kyoko Kirigiri, Tyler Howard, and Barok Van Zieks all at once, because these are all lives that 🔍⚔️ has experienced. He has access to the emotions and memories relevant to all of his kintypes, and they all motivate him to a greater or lesser degree.

However, if/when 🔍⚔️ is experiencing a particular kin shift, then the experiences, emotions and memories relevant to that particular shift will be dominate over his other experiences while he's experiencing the shift.

So for example, in a Homestuck kin shift 🔍⚔️ will act more like Dave Strider, because his thoughts, memories, emotions and preferences will be more closely aligned with who he was during that time, and the experience of his other lives will still be present, but have less priority over his actions and thoughts. His experience as Dave will have more immediate relevance to whatever he's doing, and will be experienced more heavily and as if it were more current than his other lives.

If the system is in a collective Homestuck shift, then it means that 🔍⚔️is in a Dave shift, 🌀😎 is in a Cronus shift, and 😼🔪 is in a Vriska shift, all at the same time. The lifetime of Homestuck is most immediately relevant to the entire system if we're experiencing a collective Homestuck shift.

However, not everyone is always in a collective shift. There are times where 🔍⚔️ is in a Dave/Homestuck shift, but 😼🔪 is in a Toko/Danganronpa shift, etc.

We are open to answering any questions, clarifying or otherwise that people might have about our experiences.

Ms. Kirigiri had a very determined look on her face as she waddled her way down the halls of Hope's Peak, a look that would be far more intimating if it wasn't softened up by her vices getting the better of her. Sloshing and stomping around with each demanding step the detective hip-checked and grazed against the similarly out of shape masses... Yet at least they weren't foolish enough to take risks like Kyoko, succumbing their fates to scooters as the lilac hair girl was blind to the true extent of her weight gain.

If someone told her about her scale-crushing size the detective would try to refute that claim, after all she's always had a well balanced diet and her ID showed a skinny, good looking young adult from a couple of months prior... yet a lot can change in such a short span of time.

Her diet of veggies had been replaced by the remains of doughnut box and cup noodles littering her once clean office floor. She also threw away the elegance of her once professional appearance. Her front half always threatening to pop a couple more buttons as her creamy middle and rack above that oozed out, begging, pleading for someone to upsize her attire, while her back half clung on due to sweat, damper than a shower towel as it fought to cover up anything, her gloves also failing at hiding the burned mass of flab underneath...

Yet what was Kyoko doing outside her office? Most students don't bother with leaving the comfort of their beds anymore unless it was of the utmost importance. Well, she had a mystery she'd like to solve, and she was going to get to the very bottom of it.

She was going to make her way to the cafeteria and discover how they make the food sooooo mouth watering, she wanted to have her own piece of the pie despite her limited cooking prowess!..

...

And instantly upon trying to make her way through the regular sized doorway she wedged herself stuck. Her floor scraping stomach bumping into a nearby table and toppling it over as her fingers couldn't get a grip of the frame, with her shelf of an ass being out for any passerby to gawk out on full display!..

Damn her undergarments have hit thong like levels of tightness!!!

-and she's all excited to see you! she's happy! until she sees a BIG ASS burn on your hand.

-her smile drops and she grabs your hand, beginning to examine the wound as she goes on and on about "how did you do this" and "why aren't you freaking out"

-as she tends to your wound, you begin to explain your pain tolerance and she is HORRIFIED.

-you end up rambling about other times you have gotten seriously injured and mikan looks like she's about to faint bro

-you're all "yeah one time i got a pencil stabbed in my arm on accident and i just-"

-and she is just SHOCKED.

Kyoko Kirigiri 🔍

-You cut your hand on accident. like you have a big ass, bleeding, horrible looking gash on your palm and you walk up to Kyoko with blood dripping down your hand.

-like, enough that she thinks you've just been stabbed.

-so she's absolutely shell-shocked and terrified, and you just ask her for a bandage.

-you ask for a bandage WHEN YOU CLEARLY NEED STITCHES.

-she just facepalms (severe underreaction, i know) and goes to grab some first aid before taking you to get stitches

-you realize WHY she's all confused, and start telling her about why you aren't freaking the hell out.

-i think she'd kind of understand? like, she also has a high pain tolerance, but not as high as you lmao

-mahiru turns around to look at you and just... freezes

-like, she spins around and just sees you bleeding from the hand?

-"Oh i got my hand shut in a door" you say, casually.

-and so she starts like. yelling at you because you're just nonchalantly sitting there with a terrible injury!

-she basically drags you to get some band aids and stuff, but she's still scolding you :)

-you have to wait until she stops to breathe to explain.

-and when you finally do, she just sits there until she decides to scold you more!

Peko Pekoyama 🗡

-peko also has a high pain tolerance, but when you come up to her having horribly burned most of your lower arm, she decides that mayyyyyybe this is a little extreme

-so she also tries not to react too much?

-but inside she panics?

-so she just starts fixing up the burn, DEAD SILENT so she doesn't show that she's actually terrified

-anyways, she ends up asking why you're so calm and you explain it to her and she's so damn confused

-literally justs says "what"

-yeah she would never get used to it

Yes!! Someone acknowledges this!! Because like Byakuya why are so keen on protecting Makoto from Kyoko?? What do you gain from doing that Mr. heir🤨🔍?? Why are you trying to expose her as a being an bad person so hard to makoto?? This is more than seizing up on your competitor since you’ve bowed out of the game, could it be that you actually care about his wellbeing and you don’t want to lose the person who you find frustratingly puzzling yet endearing?

Very well said, indeed. Oh man, I have a LOT to say when it comes to Byakuya's anger and suspicions towards Kyoko (particularly when it seems to involve Makoto), but that post of mine will have to wait. Because I have a feeling it would go on for a while 😅

Honestly, even if you don't see it as Byakuya being jealous or having feelings for Makoto, all of these moments show that he genuinely cares about Makoto and doesn't want anything bad to happen to him if Kyoko WAS trouble.
