i think i go through phases of how much i dislike what i’ve written, but slowly start to remember that this is a hobby!! i’m not gonna die if it’s not as good as well established authors, or other tumblr writers, because a lot of people have been writing way longer than i have, and i’m of course still learning every time i write

i know that somewhere deep down my writing isn’t shit. or at least readable, and that maybe a small group of people like what i post. i doubt people give out pity likes on this app, i swear some people are so harsh sometimes LMAO and i have to remind myself that people wouldn’t comment, or my they wouldn’t like it, or send me an ask in, if they didn’t like it. and im obviously not forcing anyone to write anything so what they say has to have some truth to it i guess

anyways, i digress. sometimes my silly little mind is a little mean but that’s okay. i doubt it’ll ever stop me from writing for everyone 🕺

He would love for you to teach him to dance in an abandoned house with the only light source being a few lit candles.

Hush would bring home a cockroach and excitedly come up to you. “Look, I found one of you! I thought you’d like him.”

Hush would steal things for you, saying he ‘found them’ - not understanding the concept of money yet.

Sometimes he’ll just sit somewhere and stare at you, with his unblinking eyes, and if you looked closely you would be able to see his pupils dilate and his legs swinging back and forth happily.

He likes to trace the lines on your hands because he doesn’t have them for himself. “I wish I had fingerprints, yours are so beautiful.”

He drew you and him as stick figures with arrows labelling them as ‘Roachie (mine)’ and ‘Hush (yours)’. They were very cute stick figures.

He tilts his head when he blushes - and when he gets flustered he had a downwards turned smile. So in combination he looks quite adorable whenever you fluster him.

When I went to an Anime Mart/Festival with one of my best friends, we saw this booth that had this. The way I gasped and smiled so wide 🥹💞💞

aaron would definitely do whatever it takes to ground you - having you list things you can hear, see, feel. he would remind you to breathe slowly. if the two of you happened to be out and about, he would immediately bring you to a quiet area where it's just the two of you.

and if you're comfortable with him touching you, he would pull you so so so close, have you close your eyes and rest your ear on his chest to listen to his heartbeat, and ask you to try to match your breathing with his. aaron's hand would also find your back, rubbing it in soothing gentle circles, different shapes, maybe he would even spell out simple, short words and have you guess them, if you need to take your mind off things and be more present.

but most importantly aaron would ask you what you need, talk you through it, provide so so so many reassurances and remind you he's here, that it's all going to be okay, even if it doesn't feel that way. he would be aware of alllll the tricks that work for you personally and go through each and every one. and you can bet he will not leave your side until you've calmed down <3333

For this Thanksgiving, I wanted to say how grateful I am for this community and all the lovely friends I have in it. Ever since I've reappeared on Tumblr a little over a year ago, everyone has been nothing but kind and supportive to me, and I can't thank you guys enough for the interest and enthusiasm you show towards my art and ideas. 🥹💐

Sometimes I regret that I can't be as active as I'd want to be, or that I can't comment on all of my friends' awesome work. There are posts that I will inevitably miss, and people that I won't have the chance to properly interact with... But just so you guys know, I'm always awed by the wonderful, inspiring, fantastic and beautiful stuff you put out there, and all these mentions, discussions and exchanges are the reason I make fanart. 🙏🎨
