2020 ALT and What it means 2 me!

hi there! it's rot :33, here to bring you a possible piping hot take!

2020alt, also known as Tiktok Alt, should be classified somewhere within the punk sphere and possibly others such as scene(ish)! due to it's political standings and music culture

when it comes to 2020alt the people within the subculture, including myself, has continued to boom within the ideology of ACAB and often finding people listening to riot grrrl music

and whild 2020alt is more fashion, it also has (as stated) it's own political belief system similar to punk! even it's music is too

but there is also the cultural mix of scene! "scenecore this, scenecore that" sure identify it how you will but plenty of 2020alt music was ALSO centered around a certain air of sceneculture (including the nostalgia-based postings of the early 2000s but also because of the hyperpop music that imitates scene music culture)

it also fits within even MORE subcultures such as harajuku fashion being the main bit! it often falls under that category for a lot of people who are within the 2020alt subculture; but it also brushes against indie as well.

long story short:

2020alt is the 100% speedrun into any subculture (..../hj)
