Meanwhile Scott feeling a hand touch him, only to find it's not a monkey trying to mess with him, but a literal human child wandering the woods who hadn't even noticed him yet-

It's love at first accidental run-in. A older teen/young adult gorgon/naga/Medusa guy, and this teen who can barely see anything.

And now he has to watch out for them, as the humans won't take them back, and there are others in the forest who aren't so... welcoming...

Gambit as a thief that got cursed to become a statue in the light of day, imagine he's kinda like king louie with a little army of monkey thieves, maybe ends up snatching Reader

This may seem like an odd combination, but Imagine Wolverine being like Baloo, ends up meeting Reader who ended up alone and tries to train them to fight and learn about his own way of living, Only to end up learning that this man Cub was with Slim when Scott comes jumping out of the trees because he heard roaring and thought reader was in danger

Tell me, what kind of half-man half-beast creatures are Logan and Remy? And what curse does Logan have?

I like the idea of Remy needing Reader's help to break Remy's curse. Friendship opportunity!

I imagine Scott had broken out of a temple he had been locked away in, which is why he has broken shackles, but they're not quite fully off yet, leaving him stuck in a Dormant form, I guess in a way he's not truly "free" yet

A lost soul, was apparently cursed by the Gods of the land to lack sight and be as pale as the snow that rarely graces the forest/jungle, perhaps in different circumstances they could've been seen as a blessing amongst their people, but now they wander in the unknown.

If you see them be careful, the cursed tends to attract the protection of warriors born of a similar fate

Yes. Yes. They're perfect. I want to give them bandaids and fruit juice and wrap them in blankets.

Scott looks so amazing, protective and sad and stoic, but also colorful and with a warm heart. He protecc his new fren.

Reader is such a small bean, who needs all the loves. They have their big brother/fren to watch them, and aren't alone or left behind for once.

Warrior Scott looks like an avenging angel (which he might be). He's just- chef's kiss!

Sabretooth being the one to find Reader by sniffing out the human, imagine Victor slowly approaching, Ready to pounce, only to feel a small hand brush on his shaggy fur and a small voice asking if that was Logan

And Victor finds the human truly was just a cub(probably the last to find out)

okay I have an idea for an au(specifically an idea for Scott), first things first for a sorta setting description I Imagine this au has kinda forestry/jungle book vibes(kinda ancient civilization)

Imagine Scott as a Medusa type character, kinda naga-like and upon looking into his eyes you'll feel like you've been burned(or perhaps frozen), imagine he wears a blindfold. Imagine there's a legend about him, a warrior that died in battle upon seeing the burning flames of the brightest Phoenix, but was brought back, cursed with eyes that burn just as bright as the flames of the Phoenix he saw, and a new body, perhaps Scott has two forms of sorts, a sorta dormant form, more slim(can still crush a man's skull) and usually wearing that blindfold, as well as having more brown/warm red colors, and a sorta true form, Gains a more warrior like appearance, Brighter colors, maybe wears a Visor resembling one you'd find on a Knight's helmet(maybe has vibes of Angemon from Digimon, except also a snek)

Imagine the Reader is blind, and got banished from their village for being seen as cursed and a bad omen, but as Reader wanders around lost they end up meeting another lost soul, imagine whenever Scott looks at Reader without his blindfold they aren't affected by his powers, their clouded vision just starts seeing a red tint and they start feeling warm

Also- maybe Magneto or Mysquie as a sorta Shere Kahn type figure, trying to hunt down humans that get lost in the woods

So I rewatched Disney's the Jungle Book yesterday and no one talks about the elephants and the vultures! They would be great for the au!

The elephants run like a military unit and even plan a whole operation to get Mowgli back when he's run away, all because he befriended the baby elephant! That's adorable

The vultures are my favorite because they are genuinely nice, funny guys who see this man-cub all sad and decide "yep, your one of us now." I can imagine Kurt, Evan, and Kitty being the group, along with one other character.

Kurt: So, what do ya wanna do today, Evan?

Evan: I dunno, what do you wanna do?

Kurt: I dunno, what do you wanna do?

I'm sorry, but yes. The teens lobe this new bby man cub. It's small, and sweet, and cuddly, and has such pretty hair and eyes! And they keep helping them out!!! So scr*w Magneto and Sabretooth and Mystique; they're keeping this little guy!!!
