Akaza bites back a smile, turning to you with a blank expression, as if he was annoyed. "Threatening me again?"

You let out a cat-like grin, and he raises his eyebrows, knowing something ridiculous is about to come out of your mouth. "They are thinking about making me a Hashira, ya know. I would be afraid if I were you, Akaza."

You close your eyes, satisfied with your cocky words, and rest your head on his crossed knee. You kick one leg over the other and hum to yourself, waiting for his next words. The mischievous smile hasn't fallen from your face and he's staring at it, his own matching grin pulling at his lips. Your antics always do amuse him, whether he likes it or not.

"What a strange thing for them to do, all considering you haven't touched a Nichirin sword in your puny lifetime." He places the tip of his finger on your jaw, the sharp, red nail slightly digging into your skin. A small reminder that he is a demon, and you are not. Probably another ridiculous act of physical dominance that you couldn't be bothered by.

You aren't phased by his strange actions anymore. The way he kisses you and purposely bites your lip to show off his fangs, the way his grip on your wrist sometimes is just a little too hard, or when he truly does get upset and shows you just a glimpse of what his opponents see that sends a shiver down your spine. He is trying to scare you, probably away from him.

You love him too much to go anywhere, even if he is afraid of himself. What is best is to ignore it, he seems to relax whenever you don't react to it. Act normal. You hold onto the finger with your own and continue to poke fun at him. "Way to ruin the mood. Mentioning how much older you are than me, you pervert."

"Deflecting now, are we?" He says, now tapping on your cheek. He seems to relax again and instead indulges your words.

You sigh dramatically. "I guess it can't be helped. I am in love with a pervert. And a demon non the less."

He scoffs at you, but he's smiling. You can hear it in the tone of his voice. "You are of age, stop whining. Besides, don't act like you didn't cling to me first. Maybe I'm the one getting taken advantage of. "

You gasp at him, and he barks a small laugh. He exposes his fangs, and his eyes hold a light in them. He is always pouting, it's nice to see him smile every once in a while.

"Sorry you know I have a thing for men who have blue-striped di—"

A hand covers your mouth in an instant and he shakes his head, as if disappointed. "And you think I'm the pervert."

You lick the palm of his hand and he pulls away with a disgusted groan. His snide comment makes you laugh, and play into it. "You know I can't help it with you."

He peers at you with amusement, but his mouth remains in a hard line. "You're gross."

"You love it."

He blinks at you and stares for a long second as if he was assessing your face. The corners of his mouth creep upward, and he lets out a breathless sigh. "Yeah. Guess so."

merryn (eldest, deep dragon sorcerer, wizard), viera (second, firstborn daughter, deep dragon sorceress and cleric of lolth), inithra (third, secondborn daughter, cleric of lolth), alystra (fifth, thirdborn daughter, deep dragon sorceress and cleric of lolth).

notes:

innate sorcerous talent is seen as sign of favor from lolth, especially so in a daughter. their matron mother shares deep dragon ancestry as well as being a powerful sorceress and cleric, and their fathers would have been carefully considered in sharing draconic sorcery talents as well.

merryn has notably paler eyes than his siblings and his matron mother, and is taller than his younger brother. inithra is notably taller and broader than all of her siblings. alystra and sol'rys are on the smaller side.

same hairstyle to simulate that members of a noble house in menzoberranzan wear their hair similarly. sol'rys wears his hair down how he wants as a surface drow presenting himself with no apparent affiliation to a noble house.

merryn attended sorcere, the academy of wizardry. as well as being a skilled sorcerer he is an accomplished arcane caster.

viera, inithra, and alystra all attended arach-tinilith, the temple of lolth. daughters in menzoberranzan are not sent to study arcane magics. while viera and alystra possess innate magic, arcane study at sorcere is typically restricted to males while female drow are to become clerics; neither daughter is exception to this. nonetheless, both are powerful sorceresses. arach-tinilith does specially train clerics with innate magic. inithra's absence of magical talent was a little disappointing, but another cleric of lolth with no innate magic is still a cleric of lolth and therefore viable for a noble house's advancement.

i'm partly stealing from pathfinder since 5e does not have any consistency with regard to lycanthropy but,

it takes three days for a lycanthropy curse to set in. the bite wound did not start visibly healing until that amount of time passed, which was initially somewhat troublesome but not exactly surprising given the size and depth of the wound. greater restoration or remove curse by a decently powerful caster would have sufficiently nulled the curse within that amount of time. belladonna could also be consumed within that time for a possibility of nulling the curse, but it's highly poisonous and at best can severely physically debilitate whoever consumes it; at worst, consuming the herb can kill you.

sol'rys only fully realized that he made a mistake a few days later during the next full moon, waking someplace he couldn't recall naked and covered in blood. lycanthropy is not a problem he'd heard widely about in the underdark, certainly not in menzoberranzan (if there are lycanthropes in menzoberranzan, he had not heard of them), and on the surface he'd only really heard what amount to whispers. he assumed that caring properly for the wound would make a difference. what he does realize very, very quickly is that lycanthropy -- especially of the werewolf variety -- is something shunned and feared regardless of moon phase.

there were no indications of anything off within the first three days. silver did not burn him, though after the initial three days touching it would have started to itch or feel like an allergic response. nonsilvered or nonmagical wounds did not heal automatically. he did not have sharpened senses. he had no urges that border towards blood lust, or to tear with claws and teeth and lose control. this only truly occurred after the initial full moon change.

other problems:

he is extremely wary of being taken advantage of. he does not know if exorbitantly priced 'cures' actually work or if they'll just cause injury. or if they're empty means for someone to gain an indenture or coin. he is fully aware as well that powerful casters are difficult to come by, and their services are highly expensive. he does not think anyone would have any desire or interest in helping him, and has been self-destructively independent since coming to the surface.

information on the curse is difficult to come by. it is difficult to discern what is true or what is made up. he struggles with written information, especially in surface common (his third read language), due to his disabilities.
