He gets a bashful smile in response, a rare sight on Tommy, but so very much appreciated. âWith you and with my team, maybe it wonât get too bad.â âIâll always be by your side.â Tommy says so seriously and earnestly, and Buck believes him.

I know more than I ever wanted to know.â Thereâs an exaggerated horror in his voice, and Tommy canât help the snort of laughter that escapes him, already very familiar with his boyfriendâs tendency to overshare.

Itâs a hot day, theyâre both sweaty and clammy, but he couldnât care less, still as insanely attracted to his boyfriend as since the moment they met. âThat has to be warm by now. Hereâs a new one.â Buck insists, and even though he canât see Tommyâs face, he knows that he fondly rolls his eyes.
