they FINALLY put season 2 of chucky on peacock (like. a year after it was announced wtf) and i watched the first two episodes tonight

THEY FINALLY DID SOMETHING I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ENTIRE FRANCHISE: SOMEBODY KICKED CHUCKY ACROSS A ROOM AGHASGHAGH that's literally always been my argument, why doesn't anyone just kick him, but it happened and i couldn't be happier

so fucking excited for the return of the twins and so happy they're getting a redemption after don mancini was told he couldn't use glen/da in the rest of the franchise because seed bombed so badly (or so i've heard)

jennifer tilly is hilarious as always <3

also the way fiona dourif plays possessed!nica/chucky will never not be hot to me my gods

My plan was that, post-Seed, Ash (my s/i) lived with Tiffany while she was masquerading as Jennifer Tilly and helped raise the twins, and ig that still works out but season 2 of Chucky definitely has me wondering what to do with Ash if he's still living with her... honestly Tiffany's kind of upsetting this season, and as much as I love Chucky puppeting Nica's body, I feel horrible for Nica's situation, too

I also don't forsee Ash lasting long without Chucky, so maybe he and Tiffany have an argument and he stakes out on his own while remaining in contact with any dolls/clones he has access to 🤔

Thinking about it, I don't necessarily have any very sweet, doting, "baby" f/os??

But I guess I'd have to say my step kid, Glen! They're extremely sweet and they just deserve the world tbh, I'm so proud to call myself their step parent! I can't wait to see their character progression if they show up in the next season of the Chucky TV show.

I love how much they care about our family unit. Even when Chuck isn't being the most perfect father, or even Tiffany the perfect mother, they believe everything will work out for us. Could anyone ask for a more awesome kid??

how they interact with the twins hcs;

tiffany: arguably the closest to her kids. gives them the most sound advice out of three murderous parents. packs their school lunches most of the time. breaks up fights. also tends to spoil them rotten, if they express interest in something she’ll get it for them or w/e.

chucky: wants to be supportive but finds it hard to connect with kids, y’know? gives the best revenge advice. encourages more rebellious behaviors but also doesn’t like when he’s talked back to so it’s a bit of a toss-up. glenda tends to favor his company if they’ve had a fight with tiffany. offers to take the kids to events like concerts and the like.

poe: adores the kids but also loves to play pranks on them. more like the cool but slightly scary uncle than a parent. will pretty much let them get away with anything. the type to sneak them sweets/snacks when they’re not supposed to have them. tells long stories that either bore the kids to death or actually intrigue them, it’s a mixed bag. would protect them with his life. swings back and forth between telling them not to follow in his footsteps, to enjoy youth while it lasts, and to grow the fuck up. quick to apologize when he knows he’s gone too far.
