to be honest i don't have like A Definite Method of rendering (...or drawing in general—which would explain why everything looks so different from post to post if you take a gander at my art tag😭😭😭)

i had the reference riiiight beside him the whole time & kept constantly eyeballing it (i did colorpick straight off of his face until i changed the palette via color balance) and even i'm surprised with how well it turned out

at one point i was like "why does this look off" and then i added those highlights in the area between upper lip and nose and it's like everything CLICKED so i think that's also pretty important! it's a bit more noticeable on my replica than it is on the reference itself though

tldr; i was winging it 90% of the time 🤑but lighting gets the job done when it comes to Establishing the Planes Of The Face (is that what the art professionals say??)

Anon this is very kind of you to say. The whole situation with blue has us incredibly tired and triggered.

We HATE being compared to other people. Blue literally took the fact that we agreed with Sophie and used that to say we're the same as her, which we are not. Just because we could see why people might call anti-endos a hate group, they were quick to lump us in as being the exact same as Sophie. And that's awful. Why compare people you know nothing about personally based on what they post online. And then how they wanted to say our accounts belong to Sophie- it's awful.

We really are in a place where we want NOTHING to do with syscourse thanks to them.

They are really going around telling people that they need to block us. They're basically saying hey don't look into this person yourself block them because I say so! Block them!

We are really bothered by the fact they made tags to talk about us in. If we didn't have a bunch of side blogs attached to this one we would have deleted it to start over again.

It's really awful how we now have bad feelings associated with our own blog because of this.

i think it's totally fine if your favorite part of rp / the focal point of your blog is ships. 🤷 maybe i just feel that way because i spend far more time writing private 1x1 rps where the entire basis of us writing is for our characters to eventually end up in a relationship. but if one of your fave parts of rp is romance and shipping, there's no shame in that. i would say shipping IS one of my fave parts of rp. ofc i still love writing other relationships, but i'm not gonna lie and pretend i don't enjoy writing gay shit

in that same vain, i also feel like because people feel embarrassed to be super into shipping and "insta-shipping", there's a lot of insistence on build-up and chemistry when in my experience, if the other mun and i get along and we mesh well as writers, our muses can have like negative chemistry but we will find a way to mash them together. and that's when i have the MOST fun with shipping, tbh. personally my friends can just randomly have their muse make out with mine and i'd be like hell yea let's do this

I think (hope) they're going to return to George being the primary producer and that it will (hopefully) sound like The 1975 version of some of the solo projects he's recently worked on. Regardless, I am sure I will love the album, but I'm hoping it sounds very George again.
