An had so much potential to explore her insecurities but sadly she's just Kohane's unconditional supporter. Also Kohane has lots of potential too but it's been a while and we still don't know much about her backstory. All we know is that she was captivated by An's performance. Really hot take: Vivid BAD SQUAD is cool and all, but there's one thing dragging it down and that's An Shiraishi. She has so much potential to be a great character but I just feel like she's poorly written.

I always felt like she was a manic pixie dream girl to Kohane and her job was to introduce Kohane to street music and be a supportive partner. I know that we got a little about An's backstory in that her dad always told her she was the best or something. Singing in Sync immediately brings up the fact that An DOES take issue with Kohane, doesn't see her as an equal and kind of looks down on her. Awakening Beat, BFBY, and Kick it up a notch deal with An's insecurities more which is good but the main issue is that from then on it's just quietly dropped, An is nothing but Kohane's unconditional #1 fan. Does she ever feel jealous? Is she only saying she supports Kohane in order to not make her feel bad? Or what? Oh and kind of clingy which I get is supposed to be Anhane ship tease but I just can't.

As far as I know, we haven't had an event going into much of Kohane's backstory either so I'd like that. Her only character development is becoming more confident and rapidly becoming a great singer. How does she feel about An's clinginess and jealousy? She can't possibly be 100% fine with everything, right? How does this shape their relationship?

Anyways maybe this is due to being an EN player and not having read anything past Light up the Fire but Anhane can definitely be improved on. Alright that's it bye
