STRIKER AS YOUR LOVER HCS ♡ 🦢

hii tee hee i wanted to write about him again ;3; !! i should divert my attention to other characters but he’s so cute i can’t :,3

WARNINGS : Potential spoilers for s2 : ep6 of HELLUVA BOSS (?)

♡ extremely hostile at first, overprotective about his things — sometimes even selfish without meaning to. Striker has a tendency of overthinking that whoever gets close to him will disappear within a matter of time, leaving himself to deal with the grief. Similar to Blitzø, as this connects with other people’s headcanons.

♡ after a few months being together, Striker tends to loosen up a bit whilst still keeping his stubborn front. At this point, he’s fine with subtle touching such as holding hands, wrapping your tails together, shoulder rubs… But anything beyond that is too much for him — such as cuddling. He would be unfamiliar with the subject, dealing with him means giving him some time. (I’m talking about meaningful and loving touching, he does seem pretty handsy in OOPS but if he was your significant other it’ll be difficult for him to differentiate physical intimacy from shoving, literal assault, etc..)

♡ mornings with Striker are rough. Sometimes he’d be halfway off the bed in an awkward position or he wouldn’t even be there at all (his darn job). His tail would often be entangled with yours or something else and it’d be a massive struggle. Striker is a heavy sleeper and sometimes doesn’t even get up to the sound of his own alarm clock. I also headcanon that his tail rattles as he snores so it’d be awful hearing that noise over and over again 😭. If you were to wake him up then he’d be pissed, muttering how he barely gets any sleep whilst taking the covers and refusing to share as your punishment. He does share after a few minutes though.

♡ It does tend to get extremely hot in Wrath, so if you aren’t a wrathian he’d fan you with the end part of his tail and make sure you got a lot of water, pouring water droplets on your forehead if you allowed him to. lol just imagine being at the beach with him and pulling out a water-gun he’d be so crazy with it that you’d regret introducing it to him in the first place.

♡ at night, Striker would stay up talking to clients which would (understandably) annoy the fuck out of you because why couldn’t he do that during the day? Once he finally decides to go to bed, he’d often be facing away from you (assuming you both share a bed) and wrapping his tail around your waist or thigh. He doesn’t tend to twist and turn around in bed often but he does have the tendency to fall off of the bed in the middle of the night. He’d also hit his head on the nightstand when this happens and would rudely brush you off if you asked him if he was alright (he doesn’t want to let down his mysterious ‘tough guy’ persona).

♡ Striker would be the type to take you on dates to downtown Wrath, spoiling you rotten (whilst ignoring the major debt he’s probably in). He’d buy you your own poncho whilst gushing about Wrathian culture. He’d playfully challenge you in horse-riding competitions and such. At the end of the day, he’d tell you that hanging out with you was a ‘breath of fresh air’ and wrap his tail around your waist/or tail.

♡ Overall, Striker’s a very stubborn but loving and fearless partner. He wants to make sure his significant other is atleast comfortable with him despite his initial hostility and venom. he’s been hurt too many times :,((.
