i can only set this for a day so i’m not gonna post anything and let this be the first thing on my account
i’m probably gonna do it over discord bc it allows long calls and i’m pretty sure i can share my screen that way we don’t need to find where there are in each country and be able to participate without an account to a streaming service
(tagging some people i saw interested on the original post @kangaracharacha @hyuuukais @tfshouldidohere )

Deciding to watch "Peter Pan & Wendy" on Disney+ tonight 😊
It's already kinda late, and I'm tired🥱, so I'll more than likely watch half tonight, and then watch the rest another day 🙃 But I felt like checking it out.

Trap 2024 | Movie Review
Thriller / Crime
Written / Directed by: M. Night Shyamalan
Cast: Josh Hartnett, Ariel Donoghue, Saleka Night Shyamalan, Hayley Mills, Alison Pill
⚠️ SPOILER WARNING
I’m actually a big fan of M. Night. I feel like a lot of people dog in him but I’m actually a fan.
I was not of big fan of this movie though.
I was actually excited for it because I like Josh Hartnett and it’s been a long time since I’ve seen him in a movie.
I think M. Night spent way too much time on his daughter’s appearances… she had like 5 full length songs… maybe even more. 90% of the movie was just her singing.
There was a lot of moments when Josh’s character was walking around and as the watcher, I’m thinking things are gonna happen. Nothing ever really happened. He pushed a lady down the stairs to cause a distraction just for him to do nothing. He caused harm to a young worker… just for him to go on the roof… then back inside. I don’t get what the character was suppose to be doing. It’s unnecessary plots that led nowhere.
The many times he was almost caught but people were like, “nah… you’re good to go” 🤨 The movie got so aggravating to watch honestly.
Then he convinced the singers uncle to get the killer and his daughter onstage, then backstage. All just to pull the singer aside and tell her he is the killer… but as the audience we are suppose to believe that no security would be guarding her at all times? Knowing there is a killer out there?
Then we are suppose to believe that the singer wants to give them a ride in the limo and no security would be with her or question why she would do that. Plus her uncle isn’t around anymore… Then we’re supposed to believe that the singer wants to go to this child’s house… and the limo driver just takes her and she just goes into this random strangers home and again… No security. Not even the limo driver went inside with her. We’re supposed to believe that this would happen. This would never happen.
It was too unbelievable to feel scared about the movie and what’s happening. It was too unrealistic. Too much of a “this is my daughter’s big singer / acting break” that we focused mainly on her…
I’m sure a lot of watchers were also feeling this way, but the whole first half of the movie I was confused on how they knew the killer was there. So that’s all I was focusing on. How would they know??? I’m glad they explained but they just skimmed over every actual good thing about the movie. It was mainly just about M. Night’s daughter and it ruined the whole movie.
I think that there was great potential for this movie. I think the storyline could have been amazing but he chose to focus mainly on his daughter or the killer just walking around for a good hour of the movie.
