how do i like. find the will to pursue transition at all. autistic trans girl of color here (same one who sent in the gatekeeping my pronouns ask) from florida, in a family poisoned by conservative brainrot. both my parents voted for trump JUST because they hate trans people, with complete disregard for the fact trump also hates women and black people. my mom watches nothing but facebook shorts about "how to identify a narcissist" or whatever the fuck and my dad watches nothing but alpha male podcast reactionary bullshit. and practically everyone else in my family is also this way, on both sides, the only other queer person i know in my family is my cousin who is lesbian but a TERF. i don't want to be chained to this god awful family anymore but i still have 3 more years to go and it's just so hopeless. i miss the times before the egg cracked, i miss the times where i was just indifferent towards these things, not knowing i was their exact target. how do i find the will to pursue my own future in this hell hole? how do i go about it when i know literally fucking nothing about buying a house or taxes or whatever and the only person willing to help is my sister, who again, is bigoted in all these ways? 3 years has never felt so fucking long. i feel like crying but my body's been conditioned to never let that happen

i know what youâre going through. i came out at 11 and we all pretended it never happened, but my parents go out of their way to prevent me from interacting with trans people or exploring queerness without ever being directly confrontational. my only advice is to keep going, to find communities outside of your parents, because when youâre 15 it feels like the rest of high school will last forever but the truth is once youâre out, you never have to look back or go back. you just have to keep going

Previously known as @yourdaddyfigure. This is strictly a (18+ only) blog. So please if youâre under the age of 18 kindly show some respect and do not follow me or any blog I interact with in this community.
I very much love interacting with my mutuals and following. So please feel free to come chat, all I ask is that you please be respectful and I promise to do the same.
