THEY NAILED THE SUSPENSE ON THE ELIMINATIONS EVEN THO SOME OF THEM ARE PREDICTABLE? I was really sad when drew got eliminated too because of how well they portrayed a mute character— (I didn’t know red is also mute,, that’s so cool…) also what I like about the series with their representation as well 😭 I’m relieved you feel bad for Grett even tho she can be mean but she’s literally playing the game so I can’t BLAME HER as much (same goes to Fiore). For me, Grett’s development through the series is by far one of my favorites as it progresses (and one of my favorite characters) .

ANYWAY some basic info about them since you’ve asked hehe!

— their name is Helmine Héloïse, greve von Winther, prince of Schwanenteich and Nebelswald or (for those who don’t have time for all that nonsense) just Néné. they’ve got hereditary Evil Step-sibling Syndrome, no less than one (1) magical talking animal up their family tree, an arrogant and sliiiightly jealous disposition, A Curse On; and an inherent weakness for one (1) loud pink-haired pie-selling kingpin :3

(néné is based on ‘One for Sorrow’ nursery rhyme, which shows through their curse - there’s an unidentifiable black bird always following them as a mark of their perpetual misfortune and misery, while everyone else in their close proximity is granted hundredfold good fortune (this magical ability is what initially had drawn Jack to them obviously. who wouldn’t want a potent good luck charm in their collection (even one as haughty and tempestuous as Néné was (at first at least. they’ve mellowed out considerably)
