Another day, another akuma taken care of for the city of Paris. Hawkmoth was still at large and very dangerous, but luckily the heroes Chat Noir and Ladybug were becoming more and more prepared for each fight.

Scorpina viewed from on top of the building as the trail of ladybugs flew over the city of Paris, healing all the damage done. She smiled watching the duo did their signature victory sign and tending to the victim. Once they were cleared, Alya of the Ladyblog and Mirelle of the Chat's Meow (the newest blog for Chat Noir) came over for a word in to be put into their respective blogs.

Chat gave his word more quicker and finished to see Scorpina waving at him from above.

       ❝ Paw-rdon me, ladies, but this Chat needs to hit the road. Meow ya later! ❞

With a two finger salute, Chat extended his staff to the roof and poll vaulted over... not too far away. Hidden on the top of the roofs where they wouldn't be seen by ordinary eyes. Scorpina parked her staff as she moved to meet Chat, speaking only wonderful praises.

       ❝ How was that today? I tried out that new move you showed me. ❞

       ❝ You did beautifully. I'm so proud of you of how you've come so far. You're turning out to be the best cat wielder in history. ❞

She in turn gave Chat... a kiss on the forehead before he beamed at her.

Whisp held her tongue for anything related to Grimm. Partly because she didn't feel like explore more of the eerie past and partly because she had no choice.

The rules after all.

The offer for meeting Cerise's friends broke the genie out of her thoughts and didn't hide the skeptical look on her face. After what happened in the hallways yesterday, Whisp wasn't so eager to just jump at the opportunity just yet.

But at the same time... she couldn't hide in the shadow's forever.

      ❝ We'll see... ❞

One way or another, Whisp Grant was going to make a mark in Ever After High...

Cerise sighed heavily. She’d known a little of how ‘bad’ Grimm was, but this was just diabolical…

“Still…I didn’t think he’d still be so…cruel…,” she trailed off, tugging her hood a little. “He’s not even giving you a chance!” She took a deep breath to try and calm down.

Just another secret to keep. She could do this.

“Well, it’ll take some time to get that room cleaned up and your schedule made…so do you want a tour of the school? And I can introduce you to some of my friends at lunch.”

On top of the rooftops, Scorpina had just transformed and was leaping to find her wards in battle. She had only gotten the distress call from Chat Noir a moment ago and had finished as fast as she could in order to find them.

The akuma battle was very dangerous and Ladybug needed time to come up with a plan, leading Chat to be the distraction. But he couldn't hold out forever and needed backup.

       ❝ Stay strong, Chat Noir. I'm only my way. ❞

Chat Noir was near the bank of the Seine as he lured the akuma far away from the civilians so no one would get hurt. Ladybug kept in touch with how far away she was in coming up with a plan to take care of this fire-themed akuma. Lately their strategy was more on point and effective with his partner coming up with a plan AHEAD of time and the right lucky charm instead of something random.

The drawback was Chat having to be the distraction and he was alone right now. He groaned as he was kicked and slammed into a wall before moving out the way of another fire blast.

This wasn't good. He needed something to shield himself with so he could get close to the akuma's object: the staff in their hands.

It's midnight. There's light cloud in the sky. You're in the heart of a city. There's an electrifying feel to the place...

Needless to say, Gigi Grant took an odd turn into this new city. The sole traveling genie was traveling through the sky to a vacation spot and ended up getting lost losing her map and couldn't find her phone in time before she nearly crashed down on the outside.

Now she was cautiously walking around nearby, hoping nobloody would recognize her as some sort of monster. She had to change her ears, remembering Headless Headmistress Bloodgood's advice on being outside of the monster realm.

Gigi and Whisp couldn't help but be happy to see the townspeople finally coming to help the Madrigals in their time of need. The least, in one opinion, they could do after so many years dedicating to the community.

What goes around comes back around after all.

The twin princesses looked to each other and nodded in agreement. Gigi readied a small ball of light in her hand while Whisp tethered to connect her shadows to show their support. They were ready to help too.

But before another move could be made, Whisp froze in between Julieta and Isabella when feeling the STRONG aura of magic. Gigi pulled away from Pepa and Felix when she felt the same... the same chilling aura.

All heads would turn to see the bright familiar portal Whisp had attempted before open wide. Out came 12 soldiers marching in rows of two, separating to be side by side of the Madrigal family in guard.

Two more guards stepped through wearing symbolic armor on their shoulders. Both were of the girls' age: one with silver hair and aquatic eyes wearing platinum with the crescent moon, the other who looked slightly older with spiky hair and an 'x' scar on his cheek wearing gold with the sun.

If perfection existed... Gigi would believe it thanks to tonight.

Ever since she started coming out of her shell again and dated Atem, if felt like a life she dreamed of. They did so many new and incredible things together. Viewing the sites of the town, eating different foods around the world.

And of course, playing many games together.

This date was wrapping up with the arcade closing, only for her mummy boyfriend saying he wasn't done just yet. They headed to the highest hill in the city and Gigi marveled of the site below. Who knew such a quaint town like Salem could look so beautiful covered it in lights.

But Atem insisted she looked to the sky instead.

And she was grateful she did.

At that moment, the firework show near the pier started and it was a great view from the hill! Seeing the sky light up in colors gave a glow around the couple. The genie turned to Atem with adoration in her eyes...

       ❝ I don't think I could ever put this to words... but thank you, Atem. You're... incredible. ❞

She made a bold approached and kissed him on his cheek for the first time.

       ❝ I'll never forget this night. ❞

Was the werewolf’s private proclamation as she grabbed the golden lantern from off the desk and began to rub it clean in taking out her frustrated feelings. However, she neglected to notice at first the harder she rubbed...

... the more and more the lantern began to glow.

Soon the werewolf eyes widen in realization before the lantern levitated out of her hands and above, swirling and flashing brightly before flashing a bright white light to gain the attention of anyone near by.

When the young werewolf, Howleen, would open her eyes...

... she would find a most peculiar ghoul standing with arms folded. A slim yet curvy, pink skinned ghoul with magenta-blonde hair in a scorpion tail, beautiful scarabian wear and aquatic blue eyes. She greeted Howleen in a soft yet cute voice as the lantern dropped by her feet.

     ❝ Greetings, finder. ❞

The bell ring dismissing the classes students were in. Everybloody bursts into the halls, glad to take a break or head to the creepeteria for lunch. Amongst hidden in the crowds was Gigi Grant, one of the newest monsters in Monster High.

Not long ago after the whole eclipse ordeal did Gigi gain her freedom and passed on her lantern to her no longer shadow sister, Whisp. Everything happened so fast that it seem so surreal. Now here she was in this stranger boo world. And though she gained new friends, the genie still felt... out of place.

Everything was so new and foreign. Part of it scared her.

Gigi waved to the last friendly face who gave her a greeting before she escaped to the comfort of her locker to settled down. She didn’t know if she was going to be able to keep up with everything.
