Hey, I recently saw a post that someone was questioning what hypoharmed is. I have the same question, and since you like talking about this stuff, you might have an easier time finding that information than I do :3

i found the coining post here (you have to scroll down), and this is what it says:

This is a alternative term to TransHarmed that is neutral leaning towards pro transition . This does not mean It has to be harmful transitioning , This could be completely safe actions of roleplay , using AI , or using consenting people to transition . HypoHarmed is Pro - Bodily autonomy - Radqueer - ProShip - Pro Para - Pro consent HypoHarmed is Anti - Non Consensual Harassment

this seems standard enough to me, though it does imply that explicitly harmful transitioning can be used. i don't thiink it to be TOO controversial in this context since it's a harmed term, so theoretically one would only be causing harm to oneself, but i do understand why people would be against it. (And while I get being self destructive, I personally find it healthier to keep my more self destructive behaviours somewhat separate from my transharmed IDs, and to not view them as an attempt at transitioning)

however i do believe that hypoharmful is the more controversial, infamous term. While I couldn't find a coining post (sob), the community consensus seems to be that it's pro transitioning for transharmful beings, including non consensual harm.

Therefore, I assume hypoharmed would commonly be associated with hypoharmful, and kinda viewed as the same "pro non conensual harm" thing?

However im not sure what other members of the community have been saying, and i am not very familiar with the cultural context of these terms. This is like 50% speculation! XD
