Leonie readjusts her earpiece then leans back in her seat, flicking through the visual data of Chasca's landscapes captured by the ground party before entering the base. "Though I'll admit, these scenic shots have me a bit jealous. This place's got my vote for our next shore leave destination."

The audio data, however, seems a little less optimistic, judging by the frazzled techs onboard. A little overreaching investigation from Leonie draws some minor alarm, and maybe it's nothing, but that's (sadly) a rare case on such missions.

"Captain," she calls, a bit of urgency colouring her tone, "don't mean to stress you out, but comms detected something weird from the audio data they've got from you. Some kind of low-level signal began emitting inside that base a few seconds ago — like — it's like a steady beeping?"

hwayoung got the whole "first they're sour, then they're sweet" ordeal going on. her humor and way of talking can be a little rough around the edges, as some people love it and some don't. with her usual way of speaking, her words and the intent behind them tend to be misinterpreted, so she tries her best to work around it so that she doesn't make too many enemies.

however, as you observe hwayoung you can see some tendencies that might break that misconception that she's all around a burnt tough cookie.

it's painfully obvious that she's got a sweet tooth. it's normal to see hwayoung headed to work drinking something loaded up with sugar or walking around the mall eating something from candycakes or icehaus. she frequents those stores so much that she's a regular,,, one time someone thought she actually worked there

on the rare occasion that no one's in or around the pool while she's on duty, she can often be seen engrossed in the latest novel she picked up, sporting a smile.

while not widely broadcasted for the world to know, she gives swimming lessons outside of her job as a lifeguard. due the demographic that typically brings in, she had developed a soft spot for kids. that part can potentially be observed by seeing how she's always carefully watching over any around her.

if you pay close enough attention, you may notice the keychains she sports on her bag changes every few days, as she switches through the few she owns. it definitely does not allude to her collection of stuffed animals on her bed.

her dog is her baby. while she may not be able to constantly see her dog since her dog lives with her parents, she loves her with all her heart. the occasions she's bringing her into johwa pet supplies for grooming, the hearts in her eyes is a new look that most people don't see.

ariadne thinks about their family townhouse near the palais. they had never considered the family townhouse to be 'home'. it was too clean. too sterile. beautifully and precisely decorated down to the purposely placed clutter to make it feel 'lived in' and harmonious. preforming art made in the mockery of a family home. but it was objectively beautiful. how could it not be? arsené beaulieu only cared about how good his house and person looked. and he gave his all to those two things, damn everything else. all style, no substance.

they think briefly about the day they had come home early from work- jason on the floor, his back pushed against the wall in terror. selene wailing in fear and confusion. andromache in the landing, staring at demolished doorway sealed off with ice. at the bottom of the stairs, ariadne had felt like a blindfold had been taken off, truths and actions they could never reconcile nor excuse. they had woken up from a bad dream to realize the real world was far more terrifying than the nightmare.

they fiddle with the aperture of their kamera. it's uncomfortable to talk about that without crying. "it's the worst feeling in the world." proper agreement with furina, wrapped in the nondirect way of fontainian speaking- agreement without divulging emotions any further. "you'll never look at the people around you the same ever again."

When the young witch sat down next to the male, she had no clue that she would've spent hours just talking to him about whatever the topic shifted to at the time. And while the female was usually guarded, she couldn't help but to let her guard down a bit. But for what it's worth, Anastasia didn't mind it at much. So I’ve put most of this blog back together, honestly it’s mostly gonna be just as it was 4 years ago when I vanished. The Slytherin had honestly just been minding his own business, ignoring practically everyone. Was more than aware of certain whispers that was spreading around, how could he not be? He wasn't deaf and despite seeming zoned out, he's paid somewhat enough attention. But with what's been going on, he just didn't care to snap back. Yet when the Hufflepuff startled him, Draco couldn't help but to snap at her with insults. Though when she snapped back, that had surprised him into silence before his laughter broke the silence that lingered for a little bit. And oh how her next choice of words, only made the corners of his lips curve upwards in a sharp smile. ❝An angel finally got some bite to her, what a surprising twist.❞ Malfoy remarked. ❝But the problem is, I don't buy it so let’s hear one morе joke.❞ Draco knew that war changes people, how could it not? It was a busy day, which wasn't anything really new for the male. But oh how he sometimes wished that he could disappear, at least that way he'd have a moment of peace without the responsibilities that he had just by being who he was. Don't get him wrong, he loved his life the way it was, it just got a bit too much at times. Especially when his privacy was constantly invaded, constantly being told what he could and couldn't do.

Today was an especially frustrating day, that Dimitri almost put a hit on one of his advisors. But that would be suspicious so instead the male took off, snuck out of the palace with every intention of leaving the country for a bit. A well deserved vacation from his responsibilities, yet as he stood in the middle of the crowded airport he hesitated. Which caused him to sigh as he ran his fingers through his hair, could hear the whispers around him because some were beginning to recognize him which wasn't ideal in an sense of the word. And given the fact he didn't have his bodyguards with him, it could get pretty bad, pretty fast.

So it didn't take Dimitri long to b-line it to the exit, to get out of there before things went south. Although on his way out, he ended up running into someone. It wasn't gentle in any sense but it wasn't that rough either, yet it was enough to stop him in his tracks for a moment. Giving the other a sheepish, apologetic look. ❝My sincere apologies, I should have been more careful. Not that I'm really one hundred percent sure that it was my fault, maybe like eighty five percent sure but-❞ The male remarked before he was cut off with the comment, which caused a snicker to escape his throat as he tilted his head in response. ❝Oh do I? How fascinating but I'm glad I didn't disappoint you too much.❞
