The audio data, however, seems a little less optimistic, judging by the frazzled techs onboard. A little overreaching investigation from Leonie draws some minor alarm, and maybe it's nothing, but that's (sadly) a rare case on such missions.

"Captain," she calls, a bit of urgency colouring her tone, "don't mean to stress you out, but comms detected something weird from the audio data they've got from you. Some kind of low-level signal began emitting inside that base a few seconds ago — like — it's like a steady beeping?"

hwayoung got the whole "first they're sour, then they're sweet" ordeal going on. her humor and way of talking can be a little rough around the edges, as some people love it and some don't. with her usual way of speaking, her words and the intent behind them tend to be misinterpreted, so she tries her best to work around it so that she doesn't make too many enemies.

however, as you observe hwayoung you can see some tendencies that might break that misconception that she's all around a burnt tough cookie.

it's painfully obvious that she's got a sweet tooth. it's normal to see hwayoung headed to work drinking something loaded up with sugar or walking around the mall eating something from candycakes or icehaus. she frequents those stores so much that she's a regular,,, one time someone thought she actually worked there

on the rare occasion that no one's in or around the pool while she's on duty, she can often be seen engrossed in the latest novel she picked up, sporting a smile.

while not widely broadcasted for the world to know, she gives swimming lessons outside of her job as a lifeguard. due the demographic that typically brings in, she had developed a soft spot for kids. that part can potentially be observed by seeing how she's always carefully watching over any around her.

if you pay close enough attention, you may notice the keychains she sports on her bag changes every few days, as she switches through the few she owns. it definitely does not allude to her collection of stuffed animals on her bed.

her dog is her baby. while she may not be able to constantly see her dog since her dog lives with her parents, she loves her with all her heart. the occasions she's bringing her into johwa pet supplies for grooming, the hearts in her eyes is a new look that most people don't see.

ariadne thinks about their family townhouse near the palais. they had never considered the family townhouse to be 'home'. it was too clean. too sterile. beautifully and precisely decorated down to the purposely placed clutter to make it feel 'lived in' and harmonious. preforming art made in the mockery of a family home. but it was objectively beautiful. how could it not be? arsené beaulieu only cared about how good his house and person looked. and he gave his all to those two things, damn everything else. all style, no substance.

they think briefly about the day they had come home early from work- jason on the floor, his back pushed against the wall in terror. selene wailing in fear and confusion. andromache in the landing, staring at demolished doorway sealed off with ice. at the bottom of the stairs, ariadne had felt like a blindfold had been taken off, truths and actions they could never reconcile nor excuse. they had woken up from a bad dream to realize the real world was far more terrifying than the nightmare.

they fiddle with the aperture of their kamera. it's uncomfortable to talk about that without crying. "it's the worst feeling in the world." proper agreement with furina, wrapped in the nondirect way of fontainian speaking- agreement without divulging emotions any further. "you'll never look at the people around you the same ever again."

So as much as I despise asking for money and asking for it gives me anxiety, I need help because I am in a situation I desperately need out of. And yes, I realize the starter goal is a lot but that is a safety net since with how much the price of housing has gone up. I can’t work because of issues and the career I want to do I can’t til I can get back into full time gaming. And my mom’s paychecks just doesn’t cut it, she works full time at walmart but her pay goes on her car payment which she has to pay on with both paychecks, the storage shed payment so we don’t lose our shit, the mailbox payment so we can get mail, she pays my brother for my internet and her share of the phone. She has to buy food for the house, us and our animals, get gas so she can go to work. But still it feels like she’s not doing much to get out of this situation so I am doing something and asking for help. So if you can please take a moment of your time and donate then share? The smallest amount helps, if you can’t donate then can you please share, that helps as well. I just don’t know what else to do and if I don’t get out to of this situation soon then ... I just don’t know. So if you can, please donate and share, thank you.

Hello, my name is AJ! And I still fucking hate having to do this but because my landlord is being a fucking prick, I truly need the help, we have til the 28th to move and we can’t bloody afford it, we lost our housing assistance cause we couldn’t afford to pay $3000. My landlord had said we could have an extension if we needed it, on the condition we were looking and fuck sakes we are but everything is expensive and at the moment, there is hardly anything for rent in a decent price rage. But now he is refusing it. And bad as it, it's coming from someone else because they aint allowing us to directly talk to our landlord. Which I’m pretty sure by law, we have the right to talk to. Which btw the loan on this place is still in my great aunts name and they told the housing assistance they were keeping our agreement we had in motion because they took over but they straight up lied because we are the ones paying the power, gas, water bill when they are supposed to because that’s how our agreement was. And let’s be honest, they aint fixing anything that we complained needed fixed. My bedroom windows let in the freezing cold cause they don’t close all the way, the over head lights in the living room doesn’t work at all, our dishwasher and stove doesn’t work. And WE pay rent and the late fee. And WE even said we’d buy the fucking place but they said we wouldn’t be able to get a loan because we were on housing. My mom is legit to the point, she is going to make them evict us cause she is annoyed with their crap. I just wanna sue them but that’s an issue within itself.

So right now, I have to once again ask for help and pray that I aint ignored..

That worries me to the point I am dealing with constant anxiety and breakdowns, at least without having the funds to afford to actually move. If you had seen my last post, then you know my landlord is a prick and we lost our housing assistance who helps us pay rent because we couldn’t afford to pay $3000. 

You also would know that they aint allowing us to directly talk to our landlord. Which I’m pretty sure by law, we have the right to talk to. That the loan on this place is still in my great aunts name and they told the housing assistance they were keeping our agreement we had in motion when they took over but they straight up lied because we are the ones paying the power, gas, water bill when they are supposed to because that’s how our agreement was. Hello, my name is AJ! And I still really fucking hate having to do this but because I truly still need the help, I have to once again ask for help. I have until May 8th to move but even with all the help I’ve been receiving, we still can’t afford to move currently, and truthfully I still don’t know if we’ll find a place on time despite how hard we are looking. My mom’s work schedule is also making it difficult and everything that is for rent or for sale is more than we can afford without help. And as many of you already know, due to not being able to afford paying $3000, we lost our housing assistance so we have no help at all.

My mom is going to try to get a loan but I don’t know how that’s going to go, if we don’t get help in time, I’m afraid we may be homeless. Though my mom said she’ll try to get us into a hotel/motel so we wouldn’t be homeless but that’s expensive... And I don’t know if I truly want to live in a hotel/motel again but it’s better than being homeless cause if I do end up being homeless then I don’t know if I’ll be able to survive. I’m already dealing with constant anxiety and breakdowns over this, I’m on the edge of breaking a promise because that’s how bad my depression is. And I’m completely losing faith.

I also sorta blame my deceased great aunt who screwed us over by sending money to daughter who is old enough to take care of herself instead of paying the loan for the place. Like she brought us this place so we didn’t have to live in a motel anymore and now we’re possibly heading right back in that situation because our landlord is selling the place. 

But anyways, I’m definitely still going to need the assistance so if you could please be so kind and take a minute out of your time to donate and share, I’d really appreciate it. He wasn't deaf and despite seeming zoned out, he's paid somewhat enough attention. But with what's been going on, he just didn't care to snap back. Though when she snapped back, that had surprised him into silence before his laughter broke the silence that lingered for a little bit. It was a busy day, which wasn't anything really new for the male. But oh how he sometimes wished that he could disappear, at least that way he'd have a moment of peace without the responsibilities that he had just by being who he was. Don't get him wrong, he loved his life the way it was, it just got a bit too much at times. Especially when his privacy was constantly invaded, constantly being told what he could and couldn't do.

Today was an especially frustrating day, that Dimitri almost put a hit on one of his advisors. But that would be suspicious so instead the male took off, snuck out of the palace with every intention of leaving the country for a bit. A well deserved vacation from his responsibilities, yet as he stood in the middle of the crowded airport he hesitated. Which caused him to sigh as he ran his fingers through his hair, could hear the whispers around him because some were beginning to recognize him which wasn't ideal in an sense of the word. And given the fact he didn't have his bodyguards with him, it could get pretty bad, pretty fast.

So it didn't take Dimitri long to b-line it to the exit, to get out of there before things went south. Although on his way out, he ended up running into someone. It wasn't gentle in any sense but it wasn't that rough either, yet it was enough to stop him in his tracks for a moment. Giving the other a sheepish, apologetic look. ❝My sincere apologies, I should have been more careful. Not that I'm really one hundred percent sure that it was my fault, maybe like eighty five percent sure but-❞ The male remarked before he was cut off with the comment, which caused a snicker to escape his throat as he tilted his head in response. ❝Oh do I? How fascinating but I'm glad I didn't disappoint you too much.❞
